임상실습 초기와 종료 후의 임상실습에 대안 간호학생의 인식 변화 (Changes in Student Nurses' Perception between Initial and Final Clinical Practice)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to explore perception of clinical experience between the initial and final practice and to explore changes in the perception of clinical experience. Method: The study used a Q-method to measure perception of clinical practice. Thirty-six statements made up the finalized Q-sample. The P sample used thirty three nursing college students from K university. The initial collection was done in the first semester of their junior year and second collection was done in the last semester of their senior year. The Q-sorts by each student were coded and analysed with the Quanl PC program. Result: Many students classified as having the perception type 'alienation of ideal and reality' or 'perception of limitation of ability' in the initial clinical practice changed to the type, 'active participation' by the final clinical practice. Further, in the initial clinical practice, part of 'active participation' and 'perception of limitation of ability' changed to 'alienation of ideal and reality'. Conclusion: This study shows that perception of their clinical practice by student nurses changed in a positive direction through clinical experience and that this fact was related to the level of satisfaction with nursing. The knowledge and understanding obtained in this research provide insights for nursing faculty and students involved in nursing education.

간호학생의 첫 임상실습 경험 (Nursing students' initial clinical experience)

  • In order to help students through their initial clinical experience, faculty must understand more fully the moaning of this experience for nursing students. This study was performed to understand and to explain what is the essential structure of nursing students' initial clinical experience. A grounded theory approach was conducted to explore the actual experience of nursing students' first clinical experience. Each of the nursing students' descriptions about their initial clinical experience was analyzed using Strauss & Corbin's method. The results of the study were as follows : From the 172 written descriptions and 7 in-depth individual interviews, 128 concepts were extracted. After identifying the concepts' formulated meaning, they were organized into 29 subcategories and the following 12 categories . burden, encountering difficulties, self-discovery, grasping actuality, acquirement of nurse's nature, special character of experience, special character of relationship, external effect, problem oriented coping, emotional oriented coping, affection for nursing, skeptical view of nursing. Five hypotheses were derived from the analysis. 1) Burden is an obstacle to grasp nursing actuality. 2) Special character of experience and external effect have an effect on grasping nursing actuality, 3) Encouragement, a part of external effects, will increase nursing student's affection for nursing. 4) Affection for nursing through first clinical experience facilitates positive nursing view and scholarly zest. 5) Disappointment with the difference be tween theory and reality will cause the student to take a skeptical view of nursing. It is hoped that the knowledge gained from this qualitative study will enable faculty to enter more fully Into the world of nursing students as they embark on their initial clinical experience.

간호대학생의 정신간호학 실습경험 (The Lived Experiences of Psychiatric Nursing Practice among Nursing Students)

  • 본 연구는 간호대학생을 대상으로 정신간호학 실습경험을 심층적으로 파악하기 위해 현상학적 방법으로 시행되었다. 본 연구의 자료수집기간은 2018년 6월~8월까지였고, 간호대학생 9명의 참여자를 대상으로 정신간호학 실습경험을 심층 면접을 통해 이루어졌다. 수집된 자료는 Colaizzi 방법으로 분석하였다. 연구참여자의 원자료에서 정신간호학 실습경험을 분석한 결과 206개의 본질적인 의미단위를 추출하였고, 본질적인 의미단위에서 9개의 주제와 6개의 주제모음을 구조화할 수 있었다. 연구결과 6개의 주제모음은 '편견으로 인한 실습의 두려움', '전혀 다른 실습을 경험함', '한계에 부딪힘', '친밀한 인간관계를 맺음', '긍정적인 변화가 나타남', '도움을 줄 수 있는 역할을 깨달음'으로 나타났다. 본 연구결과를 바탕으로 간호대학생을 대상으로 정신질환에 대한 편견 해소에 대한 경험을 확인하는 연구가 필요하다.

A Study on Google Classroom as a Tool for the Development of the Learning Model of College English

  • The aim of this study was to explore the use of Google Classroom as a learning management system for College English. The study targeted 34 university students. They took part in various activities, such as writing reactions to video lectures, peer-editing essays, and recording video presentations, et cetera. For the study, a t-test was conducted to evaluate the English development of the students. The two essays that each student wrote were used as the data sources. The result (t=-5.854, p=.000) indicated an improvement in their English writing proficiency. In addition, a survey was conducted to gather students' feedback regarding their perceptions towards the course. The study covered five aspects of their experience: Google Classroom, language development, Quizlet, classroom experience, and essay-writing experience. From the results, students indicated a positive response to the program. The use of Google Classroom in an online learning setting accomplishes two things; it helped the students in the development of their English proficiency, and provided activities that students find interesting, which in turn stimulates their self-learning spirit.

간호학생의 정신간호학 실습이 요중 17-Ketosteroid(KS), 17-Hydroxycorticosteroid(OHCS)에 미치는 영향 (The Effect of Clinical Experience for Psychiatric Nursing on Urinary 17-Ketosteroid(KS) and 17-Hydroxycorticosteroid(OHCS) of the Student)

  • The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of the first experience of the clinical experience for psychiatric nursing on the urinary 17-ketosteroid (KS) and 17-hydroxycorticosteroid (OHCS) of the nursing students. We analyzed the urine of fifteen students on curriculum who were students of D college in K city, compared with the control. In terms of 17-KS, at the end (4 PM) of the first day (p=0.001) and the last day (p=0.003), there was statistically significant difference between the control and the experimental group. In terms of 17-OHCS, at the end of the first day, there was statistically significant difference between the control and the experimental group (p=0.005), and between at the beginning (8 AM) and at the end during the clinical experience (p=0.035). At the last day, also, there was significant difference on the statistics between at the beginning and at the end in both the control (p=0.018) and the experimental group (p=0.004). In conclusion, 17-KS and 17-OHCS may be used as a indicator of the amount of stress to improve the educational environment for the students.

보완대체요법에 대한 간호대학생의 인식, 경험 및 태도 조사 (Nursing Students' Perception, Experience and Attitude on Complementary and Alternative Therapies)

  • Purpose: This study aimed to provide a basic resource for developing nursing interventions and educational programs for complementary and alternative therapies (CAT) by examining nursing students' perception, experience, and attitudes toward CAT. Methods: Data were collected targeting 230 nursing students from October 20 to November 10, 2014, and analyzed by using descriptive statistics, t-test, ${\chi}^2$-test, and ANOVA with SPSS/WIN 18.0. Results: Results showed that CAT were performed by CAT specialists in combination with hospital treatments for individuals suffering from chronic pain and musculoskeletal diseases. Nursing students obtained information on and experience of CAT through the Internet. CAT were used for psychological and mental stability as a supplementary treatment. The majority of the participants used Yoga followed by massage as a sub-therapy of the program. They said that openness of medical staff and active communication are important for having a positive attitudes toward CAT. There are differences in attitudes toward CAT according to gender, student levels, and previous experience on CAT. Conclusion: It is crucial for nursing students to have right perception, experience, and attitudes toward CAT in order to apply CAT to the clinical field.

초등 과학영재 학생의 과학긍정경험 향상을 위한 교수-학습 경험 탐색 (Exploration on Teaching and Learning Experiences Improving Positive Experiences about Science of Scientifically-Gifted Elementary School Students)

  • 이 연구에서는 초등 과학영재 학생의 과학긍정경험 향상을 위한 교수-학습 경험을 탐색하였다. 이를 위해 서울특별시의 한 초등 과학영재교육원에서 과학영재교육을 받는 초등학교 5-6학년 학생 36명을 선정하였다. 선정한 학생을 대상으로 과학긍정경험 지표에 관한 사전 검사와 사후 검사를 시행하였다. 또한 토요일에 진행되는 과학영재수업이 끝난 후에 일부 학생을 대상으로 과학긍정경험 향상을 위한 교수-학습 경험을 탐색하기 위해 개별적인 심층 면담을 시행하였다. 연구 결과, 해당 초등 과학영재교육원의 과학영재수업은 초등 과학영재 학생의 과학긍정경험을 향상시키는 것으로 나타났다. 과학긍정경험 향상을 위한 교수-학습 경험으로는 선행연구의 일반 학생에게서 나타난 '체험 중심의 탐구 활동', '학생 주도적 수업', '긍정적이고 전문적인 피드백', '탐구를 통한 지식 구성', '학생의 흥미와 적성을 반영한 수업', '실생활과 관련된 소재 활용', '모둠활동에서의 원활한 협업과 소통', '학습 내용의 적절한 난이도'의 8가지 교수-학습 경험과 과학영재 학생에게서 새롭게 나타난 '과학적 창의성 향상 전략을 통한 학습 경험', '꼬마 과학자로서의 탐구 경험', '심화 또는 속진 학습 경험', '우수한 학생과의 학습 경험', '다른 학생을 도와준 경험', '높거나 낮은 성취 경험'의 6가지 교수-학습 경험을 추출할 수 있었다. 이를 바탕으로 과학영재 학생의 과학긍정경험 향상 방안에 대한 실제적인 시사점에 대해 논하였다.

예비사서교사의 교육실습에 대한 현상학적 연구 (A Phenomenological Study of the Pre-service Teacher Librarian During Student Teaching Practice)

  • 본 연구에서는 교육실습과정을 체험하면서 느꼈던 개인의 경험을 심층적으로 살펴보고 실습과정 전반과 실습과정을 둘러싼 모든 환경을 총체적으로 이해해보고자 하였다. 이를 위해 가장 최근 교육실습을 경험한 연구 참여자를 선정하여 심층 면담을 진행하였으며 Giorgi의 현상학적 분석방법으로 자료를 분석하였다. 분석 결과 예비사서 교사의 교육실습에 대한 경험 구성요소는 '성장과정을 통한 도서관과 사서교사에 대한 인식의 형성', '진로설계에 대한 구체화와 실행전략', '실습경험을 통한 자기성장의 욕구', '조직문화 이해와 커뮤니케이션 관계 인지', '도서관과 사서교사에 대한 현실 직시'로 요약되었다. 이러한 연구 참여자들의 경험 요소는 시간적 흐름에 의한 맥락에서 이해될 수 있는 현상인 것을 알 수 있었다. 본 연구의 결과는 예비사서교사를 위한 교육실습에 대한 전반적인 검토와 환경을 개선하는데 활용될 수 있을 것을 기대한다.

대학생의 부모역할 인지에 대한 연구 (Perception of Parental Role by University Students)

  • Purpose: This study was conducted to describe the perception of parental role held by university students and to examine difference in perception of parental role according to student characteristics. Method: The participant were 338 university student in Gangreung city. The instrument was developed by researcher and consisted of 4 subcategories ; child rearing environment, parental sensitivity, growth and development of infant, and physical care. Data were collected from May 10 to June 1 in 2004 and were analyzed using SPSS Win 10.0 program. Result: The university students' perception of total parental role had a mean item score of 4.02, with 4.12 for parental sensitivity, 4.00 for child rearing environment, 4.00 for physical care and 3.95 for growth and development. There were significant differences in perception of parental role according to sex(t=-5.55, p=.00), grade(F=13.12, p=.00), type of college(F=28.34, p=.00), father's age(F=5.01, p=.00), father's education(F=5.01, p=.00), mother's education(F=3.33, p=.03) student's marriage plan(t=2.37, p=.01) main caretaker(F=9.53, p=.00) person who lived with student in childhood(F=3.62, p=.01) and student's perception of the need for education for parental role(t=3.74, p=.00). Conclusion: The impact of childhood experience has lifelong significance on subsequent health and development. Especially, the experience of childhood is highly affected by the quality of parental role. It is important to identify university student's perception of parental role as pre-parent preparation for parenting. Therefore, pre-parent education program are necessary.

기혼여자 대학원생의 다중역할 수행 경험과정 (A Grounded Theory Approach on the Multiple Role Experience of Married Women Graduate Students)

  • Purpose: This research was conducted to explore the experiences of graduate student women with children fulfilling multiple roles and to generate a substantive theory. Methods: This study uses the grounded theory method based on Strauss and Corbin(1988)'s method. Interviews were conducted with 11 graduate student women who had children aged three of older. Results: The core category of this research is 'Role balancing for self-generativity'. Based on the core category, three types of married women graduate students' experiences were found. They are 'concentrating on graduate-work' 'postponing graduate-work' and 'adjustment between two roles' Conclusions: Through understanding the married women's multiple roles experience process, there can be a basis for making a women's health system and social support system for the married women graduate student. Also, this research is to generate a substantive theory which can helps to change social perspectives on the quality of life for the women who will contribute in Korean society as professionals.
