In this paper, a psycho-behavioral aspects which have important effects on the resident territorial behavior were investigated and analyzed. Data were sampled by questionaries survey in Seoul and Daejon metropolitan cities. A total of 518 questionaries were completed by the resident those were mostly homemakers. The results of this study could find to support the following conclusions. The resident who associate with more neighborhood have higher level of using common spaces. Those associate with more neighbors tend to feel safer, the resident use the common spaces more frequently are likely to feel safer. The resident belong to the intimate group have stronger territorial feeling against strangers. A well organized territory may provide more intimate to neighborhood association.

Social networking services have changed the way people communicate. Rapid growth of information generated by social networking services requires effective search methods to give useful results. Over the last decade, social search methods have rapidly evolved. Traditional techniques become unqualified because they ignore social relation data. Existing social recommendation approaches consider social network structure, but social context has not been fully considered. Especially, the friend recommendation is an important feature of SNSs. People tend to trust the opinions of friends they know rather than the opinions of strangers. In this paper, we propose a levelized data processing method for social search in ubiquitous environment. We study previous researches about social search methods in ubiquitous environment. Our method is a new paradigm of levelelized data processing method which can utilize information in social networks, using location and friendship weight. Several experiments are performed and the results verify that the proposed method's performance is better than other existing method.

간판인식은 관광지의 간판을 자동 인식하여 외국인 또는 외지인에게 편리한 관광 정보제공을 목적으로 연구되고 있다. 간판 인식 연구에서는 인식기의 훈련과 객관적인 성능 측정을 위해 간판영상 데이터베이스가 필수적이다. 이 논문은 전주 한옥마을을 대상으로 수집한 간판영상 데이터베이스에 대해 기술한다. 총 45개의 서로 다른 간판에 대해 각각 50개씩 영상을 다양한 조건에서 획득하였다. 이 데이터베이스는 패턴 인식 분야 연구를 위한 중요한 콘텐츠 이다.

With the rise of the Internet era, instant messaging is playing an increasingly important role in the entire Internet market. Nowadays, most of chat softwares on the market are designed for chatting with friends. Before joining a group chat, we must be invited by your friends. On certain occasions, it is very troublesome to invite lots of people quickly if people want to build a group chat temporarily. Therefore I developed a chat application for ad-hoc groups to solve the problem. Ad-hoc groups can be used for some specific occasions for example some large meetings and gatherings. People can create a group at any time any where and other people can join the group chat fast. People that include friends and strangers all can join a group chat by scanning the QR code without adding anyone as friends.

The purpose of this paper is to investigate the attitudes and practices of life demanded for authentic existence in adversity, focusing on Toni Morrison's Home which was published in 2012. Home portrays the journey of Frank Money, an African-American veteran of the Korean War who strives to extricate his sister Cee from inhumane violence. Through this work, Morrison criticizes prevalent racism in the 1950s which is regarded as a time of affluence and peace through this sibling's agony. In this paper, firstly I attempt to examine the aspects of racism which Frank and Cee face and their distorted survival strategies. Secondly I try to find the right direction of brother and sister relationship based on Frank and Cee who are compared to Hansel and Gretel. Thirdly I try to point out the importance of self-reflection required for the healing process of Frank and Cee who overcome adversity and restore their identity with the help of Samaritans. And I investigate the possibility of ethical practice going beyond my family to strangers.

During the Covid-19 pandemic's first term of April-June 2020, the general public throughout Indonesia became familiar with the slang term "local lockdown." This term emerged in response to disorderly implementation of the half-hearted government policy called Pembatasan Sosial Berskala Besar (PSBB). In villages around the country, people started to build portals to restrict "strangers" or "outsiders" from entering their village areas. These portals were also meant to publicly signal the villagers' fear of the spread of the virus. This paper will discuss two things: first, how fear was produced, using frameworks drawn from Giorgio Agamben's notable works State of Exception and Homo Sacer, and how governance reproduces it; and second, how people come to accept the state of emergency and then publicly express their acceptance of the situation. Critical discourse analysis is applied to read government policy and its reception. The research took place at Rempoah, Kedungmalang, and Pabuwaran villages in Banyumas, the southern regency of Central Java, Indonesia. The villagers' responses to the government's policy are visually represented through written warning signs.

The purpose of this study is to evaluate dogs' sociality toward human strangers in the absence of an owner by analyzing changes in dogs' behavior during a task of making eye contact with an experimenter to obtain snacks. A total of 17 dogs were divided into groups of high sociality (HS; n = 10, 4.4 ± 3.87 years) and low-sociality (LS; n = 7, 3.71 ± 2.06 years). A comparison of the average frequency of five behavioral types-fear-appeasement behaviors (P<0.001), sociability-related behaviors (P<0.001), stress-related behaviors (P<0.05), destruction (P < 0.001), and vocalization (P < 0.001)-between the groups showed a significant difference in all five categories. Together, these results suggest that dogs with high sociality are less exposed to various stresses and have a higher ability to adapt to new environments than dogs with low sociality. This can predict dogs' adaptability to a new environment and positive outcomes in their daily life with the owner.

This study examines the themes the two authors shared - anti-colonialism, anti-imperialism, anti-imperialism, and anti-ideology - 《The Myth of the 20th Century》 and 《The Age of Passion》, 《Waiting for the Barbarians》 and 《Disgrace》. Both pieces opposed imperialist aggression and oppression and rejected colonial rule with the issue of their identity as strangers, and stood up against huge powers, including the fictionalization of ideology, racism, and despotism. Kim Hak-chul understood communism as a humanitarian, not a personal cult or individual dictatorship. Most of his work is autobiographical novels that he has experienced and are based on realism. Kim Hak-chul voluntarily chose China to actively fight against reality and showed the reality as it is to change history and politics, but Coetzee did not directly reveal the relationship between the perpetrator and victim, the ruler and the one being ruled, but maintained a certain distance from politics, revealing the reality of society and its system.

Objective: The genetic effects of an individual on the phenotypes of its social partners, such as its pen mates, are known as social genetic effects. This study aims to identify the candidate genes for social (pen-mates') average daily gain (ADG) in pigs by using the genome-wide association approach. Methods: Social ADG (sADG) was the average ADG of unrelated pen-mates (strangers). We used the phenotype data (16,802 records) after correcting for batch (week), sex, pen, number of strangers (1 to 7 pigs) in the pen, full-sib rate (0% to 80%) within pen, and age at the end of the test. A total of 1,041 pigs from Landrace breeds were genotyped using the Illumina PorcineSNP60 v2 BeadChip panel, which comprised 61,565 single nucleotide polymorphism (SNP) markers. After quality control, 909 individuals and 39,837 markers remained for sADG in genome-wide association study. Results: We detected five new SNPs, all on chromosome 6, which have not been associated with social ADG or other growth traits to date. One SNP was inside the prostaglandin $F2{\alpha}$ receptor (PTGFR) gene, another SNP was located 22 kb upstream of gene interferon-induced protein 44 (IFI44), and the last three SNPs were between 161 kb and 191 kb upstream of the EGF latrophilin and seven transmembrane domain-containing protein 1 (ELTD1) gene. PTGFR, IFI44, and ELTD1 were never associated with social interaction and social genetic effects in any of the previous studies. Conclusion: The identification of several genomic regions, and candidate genes associated with social genetic effects reported here, could contribute to a better understanding of the genetic basis of interaction traits for ADG. In conclusion, we suggest that the PTGFR, IFI44, and ELTD1 may be used as a molecular marker for sADG, although their functional effect was not defined yet. Thus, it will be of interest to execute association studies in those genes.

용산구의 동쪽에 위치한 한남동은 부촌으로 알려져 있지만, 실제로는 부촌과 빈촌이 공존하는 장소다. 이 곳은 2000년대까지는 주택가의 성격이 강한 동네였지만, 2000년대 말~2010년대 초 이후 '길'을 중심으로 문화경제적 실천이 집적되면서 새로운 장소, 이른바 창의경제의 장소로 변환되고 있다. 이런 장소의 생산은 다양한 창의계급들이 상이한 구역을 각각 차지하는 양상을 보이며, 그들 사이의 접촉지대에서는 경합과 충돌이 발생하고 있다. 이곳의 한 구역에서는 대기업의 경제자본을 바탕으로 문화적 기획을 왕성하게 전개되는 한편, 다른 구역에서는 창의적 소생산자 혹은 창의적 하층계급이라고 칭할 수 있는 행위자들이 문화자본을 배치하여 우사단길과 한강진길이라는 비공식적 이름의 장소로 형성하는 실천을 수행하고 있다. 결론적으로, 2010년대의 한남동은 상이한 곳들에서 상이한 행위자에 의한 상이한 젠트리피케이션이 발생하면서, 내국인들의 상이한 창의계급이 물리적 위치를 공유하지만 사회적 관계와 소통 네트워크는 거의 부재한 채로 공존하는, 즉, 서로에게 '이방인'이 되는 장소로 생산되고 있다.
