Characterization of aluminized RDX for chemical propulsion

  • The chemical response of energetic materials is analyzed in terms of 1) the thermal decomposition under the thermal stimulus and 2) the reactive flow upon the mechanical impact, both of which give rise to an exothermic thermal runaway or an explosion. The present study aims at building a set of chemical kinetics that can precisely model both thermal and impact initiation of a heavily aluminized cyclotrimethylene-trinitramine (RDX) which contains 35% of aluminum. For a thermal decomposition model, the differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) measurement is used together with the Friedman isoconversional method for defining the frequency factor and activation energy in the form of Arrhenius rate law that are extracted from the evolution of product mass fraction. As for modelling the impact response, a series of unconfined rate stick data are used to construct the size effect curve which represents the relationship between detonation velocity and inverse radius of the sample. For validation of the modeled results, a cook-off test and a pressure chamber test are used to compare the predicted chemical response of the aluminized RDX that is either thermally or mechanically loaded.

  • M-wave 는 신경전도 연구에 있어서 후기반응 현상 중 직접적인 반응으로, 반응 후 일정시간내에 정보가 존재하는 단발 반응의 특성을 가지고 있다. 이러한 M-wave 는 신경계통의 질환을 진단하기 위한 유용한 요소이며, 따라서 M-wave 의 형태 및 시간에 관한 정보가 간단히 표현될 수 있다면 신경질환 연구에 많은 도움이 될 것이다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 Ar 모델링 방법이 이러한 M-wave 의 정보 압축에 있어서 효과적임을 증명하였다. 이로 인해 먼저 실제로 측정된 M-wave 신호에서 Ar 파라메터를 추정하였으며, 추정된 파라메터를 가지고 근사화한 곡선과 최근의 M-wave의 정보압축에 관한 연구인 Hermite 변환을 이용한 방법에 따른 근사화 곡선을 비교하였다. 제안된 방법의 구체적인 검증을 위해 실신호와 근사화 곡선의 정규화 평균자승오차(NMSE)를 구하여 비교하였다. 결론적으로 M-wave 의 정보를 압축하는데 있어 Hermite 변환은 30개의 파라메터가 필요한 반면, 본 연구에서 제시한 AR 모델링방법은 3개의 파라메터만 가지고도 효과적으로 M-wave 의 특징을 압축할 수 있음을 보였다.

Effects of Information Quality of Online Travel Agencies on Trust and Continuous Usage Intention: An Application of the SOR Model

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationship between information quality, Online Travel Agency (OTA) trust, and continuous usage intention provided by OTA through the application of the SOR(Stimulus-Organism-Response) model. To achieve the purpose of the study, 234 responses were used for analysis, and the hypotheses were tested through the SPSS v.21 program and AMOS v.21 programs. The research results can be classified into the following three categories. First, it was determined that accuracy, timeliness, and usefulness among the factors for information quality had a significant positive effect on OTA trust and continuous usage intention. Second, it was determined that OTA trust was found to have a significant positive effect on continuous usage intention. Third, it was determined that OTA trust had an indirect effect on the relationship between accuracy, timeliness, usefulness, and continuous usage intention among the factors for information quality. This study looked at the lower dimension of information quality, which was insufficient in the field of OTA. This study can be used as basic data to, in practice, build a user-centered informational provision environment by identifying the factors that promote the continuous usage intention of consumers, which is linked to the revenue of online travel agencies.

Study of User Reuse Intention for Gamified Interactive Movies upon Flow Experience

  • As Christine Daley suggested, "interaction-image" is considered to be typical in the age of "Cinema 3.0", which integrates the interactivity of game art and obscures the boundary between producers and customers. In this case, users are allowed to involve actively in the scene as "players" to manage the tempo of the story to some extent, it, thus, makes users pleased to watch interactive movies repeatedly for trying a diverse option to unlock more branch lines. Accordingly, this paper aims to analyze the contributory factors and effect mechanism of users' reuse intention for gamified interactive movies and offer specific concepts to improve the reuse intention from the interactive film production and operation perspectives. Upon integrating the Flow theory and Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) and separating the intrinsic and extrinsic motivations of key factors based on Stimulus-Organism-Response (S-O-R), the research builds an empirical analysis model for users' reuse intention with cognition, design, attitude emotional experience and conducts an empirical analysis on 425 pieces of valid sample data applying SPSS22 and Amos23. The results show that user satisfaction and flow experience impact users' reuse intention highly and perceived usefulness, perceived ease of use, perceived enjoyment, remote perception, interactivity, and flow experience have significant positive influence on user satisfaction experience.

Moderated Mediation of Anticipatory Hope between Green Fashion Advertising Appeals and Word of Mouth -The Role of Perceived Consumer Effectiveness-

  • Based on the stimulus-organism-response model, this study investigated the effects of three types of green performance appeals (i.e., before-, after-, and before/after-appeals) on consumer word of mouth (WOM) mediated by anticipatory hope. As the degree of consumer susceptibility to advertising varies by individual, individual perceived consumer effectiveness (PCE) was examined as a moderated mediating variable. A total of 191 responses were analyzed using SPSS 27.0 for analysis of variance and PROCESS procedure. Results showed the mediating role of anticipatory hope between advertising appeals and WOM: participants reported greater anticipatory hope when they viewed the advertisement with after- and before/after-appeals. This mediation was moderated by participants' PCE. The effect of green performance appeals on WOM was mediated by participants' anticipatory hope when their PCE was low; however, when participants' PCE was high, the mediation was not significant. The findings show that advertising appeals highlighting the effectiveness of green performance can attract consumers who do not believe that product consumption affects a sustainable environment and spread WOM. This research provides insights to fashion brands by suggesting effective green advertising strategies that can increase consumers' voluntary information-sharing behavior.

The Antecedents Of Brand Love Toward Natural Products: An Approach of S.O.R Theory

  • Purpose: Natural products are becoming gradually popular because of their health - related benefits and consumers' environmental awareness. However, research in this field remains limited, the present study attempts to address this research gap by measuring the influencing levels of the antecedents on natural product brand love. Research design, data and methodology: The study employs S-O-R (Stimulus - Organism - Response) framework together with Innovation Resistance Theory and Dual-Factor Theory to propose the research model, in which health and environmental stimuli influence both of facilitators and inhibitors of internal states or organism, and then shape purchase intention and brand love as consumers' responses. The mixed research method is designed with the application of structural equation model (SEM) to analyze 530 consumers collected by convenience sampling. Results: The results revealed that two chosen stimuli, including health awareness and environmental concern were positively related to both facilitators (natural content and regional products) and inhibitors (image barrier and usage barrier) and these four factors were significantly associated to purchase intention and brand love. Furthermore, purchase intention played the mediating role on the relationship between the four organisms and brand love. Conclusions: The originality of this paper is extend S-O-R theory into natural product context with mediating effects in an emerging economy. The findings make theoretical contribution on consumer behavior and managerial implication.

Research on the Impact of Chinese E-commerce Festivals on College Students' Purchase Intentions

  • Purpose: With the rapid development of the e-commerce industry, online e-commerce festivals represented by the "Double Eleven Online Shopping Festival" and "618 Mid-Year Promotion" in China play a unique role in consumer activities and have an important impact on various consumers. As aborigines in the Internet era, college students have huge consumption potential. In order to meet the pursuit of a better life for college students and achieve impressive business results, e-commerce platforms will launch various e-commerce festivals. Research design, data and methodology: This article constructs a research model based on the stimulus organism response model and clue utilization theory, proposes relevant hypotheses, and uses SPSS 27.0 to test the proposed hypotheses. From the perspectives of promotion level, timeliness, and variety of categories, this study aims to verify the impact of e-commerce festivals on college students' purchasing intentions and draw relevant conclusions. Results: Empirical verification has shown that the promotion level, timeliness, variety of categories, and holiday trust of e-commerce festivals have a significant positive impact on the e-commerce festival trust of college students as a consumer group. Conclusions: The conclusion on college students' purchasing intentions not only has guiding significance for the formulation of marketing strategies for enterprises, but also helps to understand the current behavior patterns of young consumers.

망막 ON형 쌍극세포의 광응답에 따른 다중성분의 전달물질 방출에 관한 해석 (Analysis on Multi-Components of Neurotransmitter Release in Response to Light of Retinal ON-Type Bipolar Cells)

  • 망막 쌍극세포는 광자극에 대하여 완만한 전위응답을 하며, 막전위에 의존하여 전달물질(glutamine 산)을 방출한다. 본 논문에서는 ON형 쌍극세포의 시냅스 앞단에서 전달물질 방출 기구에 관한 여러 가지의 생리학적 정보를 수식적 모델로 통합하였다. 전달물질 방출의 빠른 성분과 느린 성분의 공급원을 병렬로 배치한 본 모델은 전달물질 방출의 막전위 및 세포 내 $Ca^{2+}$ 농도 의존성을 충실하게 재현할 수가 있었다. 또한 전달물질의 빠른 방출 성분은 사다리꼴 모양의 막전위 의존성을 나타내는 데에 반하여, 느린 방출 성분은 종모양의 막전위 의존성을 나타내기 때문에 세포 내의 $Ca^{2+}$ 농도 상승을 $Ca^{2+}$ 완충제로 억제하여 느린 방출 성분이 감소되고, 전달 물질 방출의 막전위 의존성이 사다리꼴 모양의 특성이 되는 것을 확인하였다. 그리고 ON 형 쌍극세포의 광응답에서 일시적 성분과 지속적 성분에 의하여 발생하는 전달물질 방출을 시뮬레이션한 결과 광응답의 시작은 전달물질을 빠르게 방출하게 하였으며, 광응답의 일시적 성분과 초기의 지속적 성분은 전달물질을 느리게 방출하도록 하였다. 또한 광응답의 후기 지속적 성분은 저장 pool로부터 보충된 시냅스 소포에 의하여 지속적인 방출이 발생하기 때문이라는 것을 확인하였다.

ECAP 평가를 위한 3차원 달팽이관 모델 개발 (Development of 3D cochlear model to evaluate ECAP)

  • 인공와우는 유모세포의 손실로 청신격 자극이 되지 않을 경우, 삽입된 전극에 전기자극을 가함으로써 청감각을 회복하는 장치이다. 인공와우의 성능을 향상하기 위하여, 자극에 따른 정확한 신경반응을 이해하는 것이 매우 중요하고, 임상에서는 electrically evoked compound action potential (ECAP)을 측정하여 신경반응을 측정하고 있다. 본 연구에서는 실제 달팽이관과 유사한 3차원 달팽이관 유한요소 모델을 개발하고, 자극에 따른 신경반응을 측정할 수 있는 ECAP 알고리즘을 개발하였다. 개발된 3차원 달팽이관 모델을 이용하여, 전기 자극에 따른 ECAP 크기와 반응 잠복 시간을 측정하였으며, 측정된 결과 임상시험과 동물실험에서 측정된 ECAP 크기와 반응 잠복 시간과 유사한 값을 얻을 수 있었다. 본 3차원 달팽이관 모델은 전기 자극에 대한 신경 반응을 분석함으로써 인공 와우의 성능을 향상시키기 위한 전기자극 방식을 연구하는데 유용하게 이용될 수 있다.

뇌-컴퓨터-인터페이스를 위한 EEG 기반의 피험자 반응시간 감지 (EEG-based Subjects' Response Time Detection for Brain-Computer-Interface)

  • 본 논문에서는 인지적 긍정/부정 선택 과제의 수행 시 뇌파를 이용하여 피험자의 반응시간 RT(response time)를 예측하는 방법에 관하여 기술한다. 실험 task에서 피험자는 시각적 자극에 대한 반응, 문제의 해석, 손 움직임의 조절, 손동작 등과 관련된 뇌활동을 한다. 이와 같은 피험자의 정신상태의 변화를 CT(cut time), ST(selection time), RP(repeated period) 등을 정의하여 모델링하고, 선택시간 ST를 감지하여 피험자의 반응시간 RT를 예측한다. ST를 감지하기 위하여 측정한 뇌파로부터 $\alpha$, $\beta$, ${\gamma}$파를 분리하고, 공간적인 관계를 고려하여 설정한 4쌍의 전극들로부터 3가지의 특징들을 추출한다. 추출한 특징들을 분석하여 각 피험자별로 나타나는 상세 규칙(specific rule)과 공통적인 특징들로 구성된 일반 규칙(meta rule)들을 설정한다. 8명의 피험자를 대상으로 설정한 규칙들을 적용하여 평균 83%의 ST 감지 성공률을 보이고, ST 감지 이후 약 0.73초에서 RT가 나타나는 것을 보인다. 설정한 규칙들의 타당성을 검증하기 위하여 8명 중 2명의 피험자에 대해서 재실험을 하고, 이들 데이타에 적용한 결과를 보인다. 본 논문에서 제안한 방법을 기존의 인지적인 정신상태 판별을 위한 방법들이나 왼손/오른손 동작구분 방법들과 결합하여 사용할 경우 BCI를 위한 기반 기술로 활용될 것으로 기대한다.
