This study is about the visual appreciation by sex with the analysis of time range of observing data which was got through observation experiment with the space of lobby in hospitals. The observation data of the subjects who observed the space include the frequency and time, through which the process of visual appreciation could be evaluated with the definition of the frequency and the time of observation. First, the fact that men had higher frequency of observation than women means the former had more movement than the latter, and another fact of their fewer times can be understood as the time of their staying was shorter. That is, even though the men had more movements of sight, they showed the feature of staying shorter. Second, the rate high and low of observation frequency and times made it possible for observation characteristics to be defined as 'intensive search' 'active search' 'fixed concentration' and 'search wandering.' The definition of understanding this process of visual appreciation can be available for a frame of effective analysis of observation characteristics according to the passage of time. Third, the intense search is the case of 'high frequency' having the feature of high visual appreciation owing to the active visual actions for acquiring information. Men were found to have more intense search which decreased gradually as time passed, while women showed the feature of many times of intense search. Fourth, it was found that with many observation data in a certain range of time the subjects had fixed concentration, where women were found to have repetitive fixed concentration along with the change of observation time while men were seen to have more observation tendency for fixed concentration. Fifth, at the cross tabulation of frequency and times, men had the feature of dispersed visual appreciation while women had more distinction between fixation and movement, which revealed that there is surely the difference between men and women in the process of visual appreciation.

The purpose of this study is to investigate the children's different responses on the playground and facilities by the materials. For the study, the overall satisfaction on the playgrounds, the visiting frequency, the staying time, and olfactory and tactile responses were collected and analyzed by the materials. The materials for the playing facilities were categorized into 3 different groups ; steel, regular form wood and natural wood. The each group was also estimated and analyzed through the SD (sematic differential) scale which consisted of landscape adjectives. According the results, children liked and most highly scored the playground and playing facilities with natural wood in every items; overall satisfaction, visiting frequency, the staying time, and olfactory and tactile. On the other hand, the steel facilities were most negatively assessed in almost every items. Especially children felt the steel facilities were not environmentally friendly and very boring, comparing to the others. However, only 6 cases were analyzed in this study, because there were few playgrounds with natural wood facilities, so it is necessary to research on more cases to generalize these results.
Time and places of hot spring-bath were diverse such as at succeeding to the throne, after abdication, during Crown Prince and etc. Generally, average staying time was about 20 days. Beside the healing purpose, hot spring-bath was taken to inspect the people's conditions, to reduce compulsory labor or tax, to carry out "Kwagoh", the old state examination or to console the people.

This study aims to investigate the effects of restrictions in economic activity on the spread of COVID-19 in the Philippines. This research employs daily time-series data of confirmed new COVID-19 cases, Apple mobility trends (i.e., use of public transport to destinations, volume of people driving, and amount of walking to destinations) and Google community mobility (i.e., visits to transit stations, visits to workplaces, and staying-at-home) indicators covering the period February 17 to September 11, 2020. The analysis starts by establishing the correlation pattern of new confirmed COVID-19 daily infections to each independent variable. The results show negative linear correlation of the number of new COVID-19 daily infections with less visit to transit station, increase stay-at-home, less use of public transport, and less amount of walking to destinations. Interestingly, the number of new COVID-19 daily infections indicates some form of positive linear correlation with visits to workplaces and volume of people driving. Moreover, employing robust least square regression via the method of MM-estimation, major findings reveal that across mobility measures, staying-at-home has the highest impact on reducing the spread of COVID-19, followed by visiting transit stations less, less use of public transport, less amount of walking, and less workplace visits.
The usage status of convenience food, convenience food restaurants and satisfaction level was surveyed from local college students in Kangreung to provide fundamental data for developing more appropriate convenience food. The subjects (80.4%) answered that they are quite aware of convenience food or to some degree. They normally consumed convenience food in the convenience food restaurants (48.85%). In many cases they took it as a snack (69.6%), and the most frequently consumed item was ramyun (45.8%). The main reason for consuming convenience food was to save time (44.8%). Regarding the price and sanitation level of convenience food, only 17.2% and 22% were satisfied, respectively. The results of analyzing the usage status and the satisfaction level with convenience food by gender and housing status showed that the highest rate of people (46.0%) answered that, "because it is convenient" was the main reason for using convenience food restaurants. Female students (P$\leq$0.014) and the students staying away from home used convenience food restaurants more often than male students and the students staying in their own homes. Especially the students who have to cook for themselves fell into the high rate of convenience food restaurant users (P$\leq$0.001). The convenience food restaurant with the highest usage rate was hamburger restaurant (38.8%).
The purpose of this study is to analyze patterns of space use and housing preferences to be used in the housing plan for students. Data was collected through questionnaire surveys from local university students living apart from their family. We collected 272 samples and analyzed them using SPSSwin program. The results are as follows; 1) The average hours of staying at the housing for student are 5 hours and 30 minutes(except sleeping time). Most of the time was used for ‘hobby’ and ‘study\ulcorner computer works’. The most of the students had ‘a meal per day’ at their housing. 2) The most preferred housing type by the students is ‘studio apartment’ and the next preferred is ‘apartment’. The highly demanded facility is ‘laundry’ and the next comes ‘kitchen’. 3) Those who spend more time in their housing than average show higher demand in ‘kitchen’ and ‘balcony’. Those who spend less time in their housing show higher demand in ‘storage’.
This research is to 1) examine the perception of an exhibition organizer in holding an exhibition and its time, and 2) find out participants' satisfaction in the exhibition services according to time and purposes of visiting. The questionnaire was distributed to employees who work for exhibition companies, and exhibition visitors that have participated in any kind of international exhibitions which were held in COEX from 27, March to 2, May, 2003. The results of this study are as follows; First convenience facilities nearby, promotion, parking facilities strongly affected participants' overall satisfaction. Secondly, the purposes and time of visiting showed significant factors on the participants' satisfaction in the exhibition services. In turn, buying merchandise and obtaining useful information significantly affected convenience facilities nearby. Also, simple visiting purposes affected the cost of staying and service related to tourism. Finally, the number of workers, time and occupation of exhibitions are showed as important factors for the perception of an exhibition provider in the exhibition services.
Generally, berth assignment problem has conflicting factors according to the interested parties. In the view of shipping company, it is desirable that berth assignment is made according to the order of arrival. But in the view of port operator, it is better to be assigned regardless the order of arrival to promote the efficiency of berth operation. Thus, it is necessary to establish berth assignment planning which reflects both of interests in a practical situation. This paper aims to develop a reasonable berth assignment algorithm in a container terminal by considering the prescribed factors, and suggests three types of models minimizing the objective functions such as total port staying time, total mooring time and total maximum mooring time by using MPS concept. These models are formulated by 0-1 integer programming and min-max type function, but as the number of variables increases, an optimal solution cannot be achieved easily within a desired computational time. Thus, to tackle this problem this paper proposes a heuristic algorithm, and also the heuristic algorithm proposed in this paper is verified through the several examples.
To study entering and exiting routes of male and female Hynobius leechii to a breeding site and staying time of them within the breeding site, we monitored a breeding population located in the research forests of Kangwon National University. The breeding site was surrounded by a drift fence associated with nine pitfall traps. The breeding season of this population was about one month, from 16 March to 13 April, 2005. Breeding males arrived earlier at the breeding pond than females did. The operational sex ratio (OSR), defined as the ratio of males to females which are ready to mate, over a breeding season was female-biased as 0.67 male vs 1 female (57 males vs 87 females), but daily OSRs, OSR in a particular day, within the breeding pond were male-biased with $1.36\sim7.5$ male vs f female in six days out of seven investigated days. While breeding males stayed in the breeding pond for about 11 days, breeding females left the pond as soon as they completed oviposition. However, the females stayed at terrestrial areas near the pond for about seven days before completely leaving the breeding site. Entering and exiting routes to the breeding site were different between males and females, and between ovulated and oviposited females. Both males and females arrived earlier at the breeding site stayed longer within the site. Males stayed longer within the breeding site lost more body weight.

In this study, theoretical super screen vibration analysis has been carried out to predict the dynamic characteristics of interactive waste particles. In order to approach these problems, it is necessary to have a fundamental understanding the screening process and the process of both the remaining and the passed material on a screen with several interacting screen planes based on Soldinger(1999) was discussed. Here, the vibrating screen is composed of three assemblies such as screen, wastes guide, and supported screen as shown in Fig. 1. This model is regarded vibrator as the system of screen fixed tilt plates. Then materials(or particles) of different size is to be separated by using the eccentric vibrator and classifying tilt plates. As well moisturized construction wastes is more efficient to separate than moisture-less it. In processing separate mechanism, the more materials is light, the more staying time is long. Thus much lighter construction wastes(wood, Styrofoam, etc) and heavier materials are separated by staying time delay in a super screen. The design results, separation screen were able to know that small and larger particles are conspicuous difference each motion character according to trajectory particles, and small particles raise the probability in classifying tilt plates.
