In most application programs, loops usually contain most of the computation in a program and are the most improtant source of parallelism. When loops are executed on multiprocessors, the cross iteration data dependences need to be enforced by synchronization between processors. In this paper, we propose a new synchronization scheme(Free/Hold) for reducing overgeads occured by synchronization variables in data oriented scheme and delay of time occured by synchronization instruction in statement oriented scheme. The Free/Hold mechanism enforces the correct execution order by inserting synchronization instruction between each instance with data dependence relationship using the RD(Real dependence Distance). We also present an algorithm for removing unnecessary dependences in one-to-many dependences.

In 1989, the Bethesda System (TBS) was introduced as an attempt to standardize cervical/vaginal reporting systems. TBS nomenclature was created for reporting cytologic diagnoses to replace the currently used Cervical Intraepithelial Neoplasia (CIN) and Papanicolaou Class System, which are deemed less reproducible. The name for preinvasive squamous lesions was changed to squamous intraepithelial lesion(SIL), subdivided into low-grade and high-grade types. TBS recommends a specific format for cytologic report, starling with explicit statement on the adequacy of the specimen, followed by general categorization and descriptive diagnosis. Pathologic and epidemiologic studios performed over last 10 years have provided evidence that human papillomavirus (HPV) plays a significant role in the development of cervical neoplasia, TBS corresponds not only to currently held views of the behavior of preinvasive lesions and their HPV distribution, but also to the current guidelines for clinical management.

This paper illustrates a method of developing a function of quality costs in manufacturing systems. It begins with a discussion of the problem statement of this research. A review of existing literatures related to quality costs and economic design of quality inspection methods are discussed. Next mathematical models that quantify the production cycle time and quality costs are formulated. This paper ends with an example that demonstrates the usefulness of the model and highlights the importance of using a system approach. The main contribution of this work is the more realistic considerations of the four types of quality costs (prevention cost, appraisal cost, internal failure cost, external failure cost) in manufacturing systems.

There was the time of IMF(1998) that management condition of construction business had been the worst. After that time, structural regulation was completed and financial structure was returned to normalcy(2001). At that time, the aim of this paper is that fifteen construction business are researched for process of management condition and capital structure after they is selected as samples for three years, also failure of two-groups is predicted as statistics analysis and multiple discriminant analysis for them. In this paper, It is researched financial statement of business by the forecast experiment of failure and analyzed statistically possibility of failure and success for financial ratio. For them, the fifteen companies of failure and the fifteen companies what were not the failure, for listed company, and the fourteen variables are selected and they are analyzed statistically according to Logit Analysis.

PBL can be defined as an active, self-directed and student-centered learning, and an opposite way of classroom teacher-centered learning which has been traditional role learning. PBL enables students think more efficiently and effectively when puzzling through the patient problems. The purpose of this study is to find out the perception of student nurse about PBL, the characteristics and the structure of the type for PBL. The research process is as follow : First, the researcher selected 35 statements for PBL with the content analysis of in depth interview and the literature review. Second, the researcher asks 38 student nurse to classify the statement cards. The result of the research is that the type of student nurse's PBL perception is divided into 4 types(Affirmative type, Negative type, Suspicious type, and Preferable type), and the explanative total variance is 44 percent. In relation to this, if PBL well combined and adapted in our traditional curriculum will change our nursing education in better direction.

The purpose of this study was to explore the unfairness of adhesion contracts for internet contents service. The internet contents were classified into six types of avatar, learning, download, e-book and movie internet sites. The adhesion contracts of internet contents service were collected in 60 internet sites. The unfairness of the adhesion contract was reviewed under the adhesion contract regulation act. The major results were as follows. First, the obligation of clear statement, explanation, and delivery was not observed completely. Second, many articles of adhesion contract were unfair and they especially violated articles 7 and 9. Therefore, the standard adhesion contract system for internet content service should be enforced and self-regulation of information service providers is needed.

In this paper, the problem of axisymmetric deformation of the circular membrane fixed at its perimeter under the action of uniformly-distributed loads was resolved by exactly using power series method, and the solution of the problem was presented. An investigation into the so-called Hencky transformation was carried out, based on the solution presented here. The results obtained here indicate that the well-known Hencky solution is, without doubt, correct, but in the published papers the statement about its derivation is incorrect, and the so-called Hencky transformation is invalid and hence may not be extended to use as a general mathematical method.

Let ${\gamma}$(G) be the domination number of a graph G. It is shown that for any $k {\ge} 0$ there exists a Cartesian graph bundle $B{\Box}_{\varphi}F$ such that ${\gamma}(B{\Box}_{\varphi}F) ={\gamma}(B){\gamma}(F)-2k$. The domination numbers of Cartesian bundles of two cycles are determined exactly when the fibre graph is a triangle or a square. A statement similar to Vizing's conjecture on strong graph bundles is shown not to be true by proving the inequality ${\gamma}(B{\bigotimes}_{\varphi}F){\le}{\gamma}(B){\gamma}(F)$ for strong graph bundles. Examples of graphs Band F with ${\gamma}(B{\bigotimes}_{\varphi}F) < {\gamma}(B){\gamma}(F)$ are given.

Effect of visualization as a tool for the education of fluid dynamics is mainly discussed. Visualized images are much more understandable compared to the explanation using equations and texts. Several examples are presented to clarify this statement. Then, the software system for teaching fluid dynamics using the results by the numerical simulation is discussed. Two important issues on what is needed in the system are given. First, such systems should be capable of animating images. Second, such systems should be interactively used by students. Changing parameters, coefficients, equations, etc. themselves and watching the difference are important for them to understand the nature of physics underlying the equations. The teaching system with visualization is no doubt a good tool for introducing fluid dynamics.

We investigate the relationship between ownership structure and firm performance. For this paper, we use the 'donation' figure from the income statement of each firm as a measure of firm Performance lather than short-term financial measure that has been wifely used by previous studies. Our results are consistent with the idea that family ownership is both prevalent and substantial in Korea. More importantly, however, non-family firms are found to give more donations than family firms. This suggests that non-family firms more readily recognize the significance of corporate social responsibility and play an active role in philanthropy.
