This work presents an agenda-based approach to improve the robustness of the dialog manager by using dialog examples and n-best recognition hypotheses. This approach supports n-best hypotheses in the dialog manager and keeps track of the dialog state using a discourse interpretation algorithm with the agenda graph and focus stack. Given the agenda graph and n-best hypotheses, the system can predict the next system actions to maximize multi-level score functions. To evaluate the proposed method, a spoken dialog system for a building guidance robot was developed. Preliminary evaluation shows this approach would be effective to improve the robustness of example-based dialog modeling.

The authors present a case of 68-year-old woman who underwent resection of a metastatic adenocarcinoma in the left parietooccipital area. The intraoperative course was uneventful; however, after closure of the scalp incision, increased bleeding from the suture line was noted. A computerized tomography scan that was performed immediately after operation revealed acute epidural hemorrhage with mass effect under the bone flap. The patient developed disseminated intravascular coagulation and immediate re-exploration was performed. This patient was successfully treated owing to early recognition of the condition and immediate treatment with transfusion. Neurosurgeons should be alert that hypercoagulabe state is common in cancer patients and consumptive coagulopathy can occur after resection of metastatic brain tumor.

It was investigated the current state of work-related musculoskeletal disorders (WMSDs), which is one of the major problems in occupational safety and health management. A survey was conducted for safety personnel serve in the enterprises located at two cities in Gyungbuk area, Gumi and Pohang where the major industrial complex reside. The goal of this study was to identify whether the category and scale of the enterprises affect the sort of hazard factors, occurrence rate, and countermeasures against WMSDs. The results from the survey indicated that there were significant differences in the level of recognition and counteracts for WMSDs among the enterprises subject to their categories and scales. On the basis of these results, it was considered a more efficient way of spreading proper ergonomic knowledge and skills to the industries that were coincided with the circumstances of individual enterprise.

This paper aims to improve the quality of cultural experience by providing a three - dimensional guide service that enables users to experience themselves without additional guides and cultural commentators using the latest mobile IT technology to enhance understanding of cultural heritage. In this paper, we propose a method of constructing cultural contents based on location information such as user / cultural heritage using markerless tracking based augmented reality and GPS. We use marker detection technology and markerless tracking technology to recognize smart augmented reality object accurately and accurate recognition according to the state of cultural heritage, and also use Android's Google map to locate the user. The purpose of this paper is to produce content for introducing cultural heritage using GPS and augmented reality based on Android. It can be used in combination with various objects beyond the limitation of existing augmented reality contents.

Symmetrical Digital Gangrene (SDG) is characterized by the sudden onset of peripheral, symmetrical gangrene in the absence of any major vascular occlusive disease. Catecholamine inotropes are frequently used for the treatment of septic shock combined with an unstable hemodynamic state, and their usage can rarely induce SDG. There is no standard treatment for the SDG. Early recognition and prompt management of sepsis and expeditious process of weaning off of the inotropes are necessary to prevent progression of SDG. To the best of our knowledge, this is the first report in Korea regarding the treatment of SDG induced by catecholamine inotropes.

A Contract of marine insurance is a contract whereby the insurer undertakes to indemnity the assurd, in manner and to the extent thereby agreed, against marine losses that is to say, the losses incident to marine adventure. But the matter is that whether the problem of increased risk in insurance law should be understood by matching to nay state under general principle of contract law and whether that we should give any effect is more proper to the original object of the system. For this, it is understood that it is a case to be applied a "clausula rebus sic stantibus" in general today, but it is regarded as the matter that whether "clausula rebus sic stantibs" is charging any position in change of risk and whether we should understood the concept of the risk on the substance of the risk. Accordingly the recognition for the problem like this, study should examine closely into whether any system for the effect of increase in change of risk is more proper and rational system provide the supplementing points through our principle of insurance law and the study by comparing method.by comparing method.

We draw on well-established thinking in the complementary fields of organization theory and strategic management to develop a model explaining why fit among a firm's competitive strategy, its structure, and its technology is a prerequisite for superior performance. The contributions of this theoretical treatise are twofold. Firstly, it helps reduce the disconnect in thinking that exists between the strategy and organization-theory literatures on business-level issues. Secondly, it reveals the importance of managing the coalignment among strategy, structure, and technology which, in turn, forces recognition that competitive advantage does not exist in a static state but in a dynamic condition.

In this study, we detected electromagnetic waves generated in an enclosed switchgear and applied various statistical methods for detecting signals. We calculated the various statistical factors via the appropriate statistical methods. Further, we used these statistics to recognize the characteristics for each pattern by identifying the partial discharge in each case for normal, proceeding and abnormal states. The characteristics of electromagnetic wave patterns occurred in various states at electric power facilities and were used as an output variable for more efficient diagnosis. In this paper, we confirmed that the pattern of partial discharge signal can be used as one of the factors used to analyze the insulation state and to consider while estimating diagnosis of insulation states by recognizing the signal pattern to intelligence. We will utilize the proposed diagnosis method to determine insulation degradation states.

Purpose: This article aimed to identify nurses' experience of practice in nursing homes. Method: Using phenomenological approach for qualitative research, the participants were 8 nurses who were working at nursing homse in C city. The data was analyzed by using phenomenological methodology by Colaizzi. Results: Five theme clusters were derived from the data. They were: burden (independent decision making in clinical situations, tension of as a multifunctional member); lowered self-esteem (exhaustion, relative self-evaluation is low, comparing with others); conflict (negative image of elderly, communication break with elderly family, monitoring of nursing home staff); worth (slight improvement of elderly health state, trust and recognition, intimacy); and self-reflection (need for knowledge extension, effort towards enhancing virtue, perception of importance in their health management). Conclusion: The results showed that nursing home nurses experienced negative aspects of various nursing practice, suggesting the ways to solve their negative experience.

전화음성의 경우 전화 회선의 채널 대역폭 제한과 통화로 형성시 달라지는 채널의 특성으로 인하여 마이크 음성에 비하여 인식 성능이 많이 저하된다. 본 연구에서는 연속 숫자음 전화음성의 인식율 향상을 위해 채널 왜곡 보상 기법들을 적용하고, HTK 기반의 인식 실험을 통해 보상 기법에 따른 인식 성능을 비교하였다. 채널 왜곡 보상 기법으로 CMN, RASTA, RTCN 등을 적용하고, 각 보상 기법에 따라 HMM의 state 수, mixture 수를 바꾸어 가며 인식 실험한 결과를 제시한다.
