The Marketing Strategy through Sports Media to Stimulate a Consumer Sentiment

  • Purpose: To entice new customers, companies attach their products to sports. From a pastime enjoyed by many to a multi-billion-dollar enterprise, the sport has evolved due to the growth in sports marketing spending. The purpose of this study is to illustrate the notion of sports media marketing using the prior textual data. Research design, data and methodology: The Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses (PRISMA) methodology was conducted to investigate previous literature to achieve the purpose of the study. This method includes searching for information sources, selection of articles, and results extraction relative to the objectives. Results: The findings from prior systematic review indicated that customers and the marketplace can be better understood with the help of well-executed marketing campaigns. Moreover, many different techniques are being utilized to describe sports marketing such as the use of media, advertisement, public relations, and direct sales. Conclusions: All in all, the present study concludes that the notion of associative competitiveness is one of the unique characteristics of the sports sector. As a result, sports leagues and federations must maintain a balance within the league and develop a shared marketing strategy to help promote their respective sports and competitions.

  • The purpose of this study is to examine the impacts of sports marketing mix factors on brand equities and consumer behaviors. The findings of this study are as follows: first, there are differences in sports marketing mix factors, depending on individual characteristics. Differences are found in gender and living standard with regard to individual characteristics and prices. second, there are differences in brand equities, according to individual characters. third, sports marketing mix factors impact brand equities. fourth, the sports marketing mix factors impact perceive quality, brand recognition, location related to brand image and products. fifth, sports marketing mix factors impact brand equities and consumer behaviors. In regards with brand equities and repeat purchases, sports marketing mix factors impact promotion, products, perceived quality and image. In satisfaction, the sports marketing mix factors impact location, price promotion and product recognition. In the intention of transmission by word of mouth, the factors impact price, products, perceive quality and image.

  • This research aims to analyze business strategies of professional sports marketing companies which have properties of sports organizations in Korea, with a view to investigating into the nature of the business of the agencies and the characteristics of business models and to considering what kinds of suggestions such characteristics have for the development of professional sports marketing agencies in Korea. Professional sports marketing agencies do not simply acquire their property rights or act as a proxy in getting the property rights but also multiply opportunities for their business while acting as a proxy and developing extension commodities so as to maximize their profit, which is a core capability of sport businesses. Sports marketing businesses in Korea are characterized by dual structure: advertisement companies specializing in BTL (Below The Line)-centered promotion business, and sports marketing agencies specializing in the business focused on sports contents. This structure serves as an obstruction for Korean sports marketing agencies to build up their capabilities to maximize opportunities and extension.

Marketing Strategy to lead Leisure sporting goods consumption to improve the leisure life of sports participants

  • Purpose - The sports business industry and contemporary sports marketing is an exemplary wide field that primarily comprises specific activities, numerous individuals, organizations, and business ventures. This research aims to provide a marketing strategy to lead Leisure sporting goods consumption to improve the leisure life of sports participants. Research design, Data, and methodology - The Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses (PRISMA) was conducted to obtain the appropriate literature resources and total 15 previous resources selected by the present author after excluding papers based on screening process. Result - The literature analysis revealed that marketing practitioners in the sports and leisure industry should remember three significant solutions which are suggested. These solutions the following: (1) Brand Visibility, (2) Suitable Business Designs, and (3) Customers Support. They will enhance the perspective of consumption goods that foster leisure life to sporting participants following a well-advanced market strategy Conclusion - The sporting activities are generally inspiring, emotion provoking, immersive, rapidly growing profits and revenues, and engaging; hence, it is a great adventure of advancing customer orientation and a platform for growing the market. Therefore professionals have the responsibility to design sporting events in synergy with different stakeholders in ensuring improved and enjoyable experiences based on the marketing solutions of the current research.

The Structural Relationship among Relationship Marketing, Relationship Quality, and Behavioral Intention toward Children Sports Center

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study is to examine the structural relationship among relationship marketing, relationship quality, and behavioral intention toward children sports centers. Research design, data, and methodology: To achieve this purpose, this study employed a convenience sampling method via a questionnaire dissemination. A total of 427 responses were collected from the parents of six children sports centers. Among those, 21 responses were excluded as they were not completed, leaving 406 valid data. For hypotheses test, the collected data was computed in SPSS 27.0 and AMOS 27.0, and analyzed with frequency analysis, correlation analysis, reliability analysis, confirmatory factor analysis, and structural equation modeling analysis. Results: First, relationship marketing had a positive influence on relationship quality. Second, relationship marketing had a positive influence on behavioral intention. Third, relationship quality had a positive influence on behavioral intention. Conclusions: Results showed that relationship marketing had a positive influence on relationship quality and behavioral intention. Moreover, relationship quality had a positive influence on behavioral intention. These findings indicate a positive function of relationship marketing in building psychological and behavioral outcomes in the context of children sport industry. Given this, implications of relationships among research variables were discussed.

The Characteristics of Sports Marketing Activities Conducted by Full-Service Advertising Agencies in Korea (한국 종합광고회사의 스포츠마케팅 특징)

  • This study aims to understand the characteristics of sports marketing businesses of the 10 largest advertising agencies which lead the advertising market in Korea. To do that, the present author has investigated into the traits of the advertising market in Korea and how the characteristics are connected to sports businesses of the advertising agencies, with a focus on the current condition of sport marketing businesses of the agencies. The sports marketing business of the 10 largest advertising agencies in Korea was described by the fact that they did not create profits through sports business but just conducted their sports marketing activities mainly related to the sponsorship and event planning for communicating their parent companies. Such the characteristics of the advertising agencies is attributed to their nature that they are in-house agencies of large companies. The agencies engage in a variety of sports promotion sectors aligned with the intended business directions of their sponsors, however they are encountering considerable challenges in the aspect of sports business focused on property.

Secondary Literature Analysis: The Marketing Practice to Attract Potential Customers into Leisure and Sports Industry

  • Purpose: The marketing practice for the leisure and sports industry is a complex process that requires a thorough understanding of the audience, their needs and motivations. Thus, this niche market is focused on specific products, services, or experiences. The present research explores and suggests meaningful strategies based on the literature textual dataset to provide how to attract consumers in this sector. Research design, data and methodology: We have conducted the 'Secondary Literature Analysis', reviewing and summarizing numerous findings in the relevant prior studies. As a result, we could obtain a total of 15 significant textual resources which are from only peer-reviewed journal article. All resources had a high quality of the instrument to prove their results. Results: The findings of this research pointed out that marketers in leisure sports sector need to communicate via following methods: (1) Understanding the Customers' Needs and Wants, (2) Social Media, (3) Advertising, (4) Promoting Brand Affinity, (5) Offering Discounts, and (6) Providing Value-Added Services. Conclusions: The present research concludes that the marketing practice in the leisure and sports industry should be performed using various channels. In addition, marketing practitioners are supposed to check if tailored marketing messages are compatible with products, services, and events that relate to their target audience's interests.

  • The influences of sporting shoe brands wants to exert on consumers in the sports shoe market has been tried in many forms, and its effectiveness has also been proven. A variety of marketing strategies are being proven by each brand that they consider to be worth using. However, marketing strategies using sports shoe collectors have never been empirically proven in their influence. This is because the collecting behaviors shown in the traditional sports shoe market is very low in comprehension. This study was initiated by critical thought that determined a new marketing strategy was needed in the sports shoe market, which is considered to be somewhat limited, and is aimed at setting and demonstrating the path to influence in establishing a marketing strategy using sports shoe collectors. To achieve the purposes of this study, 231 consumers who were exposed to stimuli for describing the products of a hypothetical sports shoe collectors were used. For data analysis, frequency analysis, reliability analysis, correlation analysis, and confirmative factors analysis and structural equation method using PASW 21.0 and AMOS 20.0 were used. Based on the results derived from this study, we have found a new path to a new marketing strategy based on the expertise held by sports shoe collectors in the sports shoe market, which we hope will serve as one of the new growth engines for the sluggish sports shoe market in Korea.

A Study on the Relationship between Customer's Majors and Products/ pro-sports Preference (고객 전공분야와 관련 제품 및 프로스포츠 선호도와의 관계 연구)

  • In today's mass production/consumption society, there are many important constituents people need to have/do for their happy life. Very few People think that among those components enjoying Pro-sports in their life is essential, and Many business companies are interested in owning/operating pro-sports teams. Thus, many studies have been progressed on sports management or sports marketing domestically and abroad. This paper studied the preference relationship between subject's majors and products/service and pro-sports. We constructed hypotheses about the relationship and tested them by using ANOVA and Tuckey tests. We found significant results that preference for coke/cider is influenced by subject's majors, and that preference for pro-baseball, pro-football, and pro-basketball is also influenced by subject's major, etc. As the results, we can have important information about who are the most important customers and who should be target customers for marketing and promotion, and with the information related business companies can attain higher profitability and less loss through more effective sports marketing.
