A performance analysis was conducted according to changes in inflow velocity and the tip speed ratio of a portable horizontal-axis hydro turbine that can be used for marine leisure sports and outdoor activities by using the commercial computational fluid dynamics software ANSYS CFX. By using the analysis result and flow field analysis, the design was reviewed and the performance of the device was confirmed. In addition, data necessary to improve the performance of the hydro turbine were acquired by performing an additional performance analysis according to the variable blade pitch angle. The results among the numerical analysis cases show that the highest performance at all inflow velocities and blade pitch angles if achieved at a tip speed ratio of 4. The output power was found to be 30 W even under some conditions below the design flow rate. Among the numerical analysis cases, the highest output power (~ 85 W) and power coefficient (~ 0.30) were observed at an inlet flow rate of 1.5 m/s, a blade pitch angle of 3°, and a tip speed ratio of 4.
The purpose of this study was to determine whether hormone levels change knee laxity in healthy females. Twenty three healthy females were recruited for the study. Serum estradiol and progesterone levels were recorded three times during the subjects' menstrual cycles. The first measurements were taken between day 3 and 7 of the follicular phase and the second data collection coincided with ovulation, 24 to 48 hours after the estrogen surge detected by an ovulation predictor kits. Based on a 28 day cycle, the third data collection occurred approximately 7 days later during the luteal phase. Knee joint laxity was recorded at the same intervals with a KT 2000 arthometer. Hormone levels and phases were compared to passive knee joint laxity with multiple regression analysis. Estradiol and progesterone levels differed significantly across the three tests. Knee joint laxity increased during ovulation. Based on a multiple regression analysis, estradiol and progesterone levels predicts 77.9% to 80.9% of the laxity at 20lb and 30lb loads. An antagonistic relationship between estradiol and progesterone was found when testing for knee laxity. Serum hormone levels have moderate power in predicting knee joint laxity. Individual hormonal profiling in female athletes would allow researchers to access the structural properties of the ACL, such as the laxity which may provide beneficial information to understand female ACL injury mechanism in sports activity.

This study examines differences in satisfaction, intention to revisit, and word-of-mouth recommendations among foreign tourists, based on their nationality and factors influencing their decision to visit Korea. The study utilizes the data collected from foreign tourists who visited Korea in 2021, including information on their country of origin, factors influencing their decision to visit, satisfaction levels, intention to revisit, and willingness to recommend Korea to others. While the survey data comprises a large sample of over 8,000 respondents, only 1,398 without missing values are used for analysis. According to the analysis results, there were significant differences in satisfaction, intention to revisit, and word-of-mouth recommendations among foreign tourists based on their nationality and factors influencing their decision to visit. Notably, leisure and sports activities and distance from their home country are significant factors in making a decision to visit Korea. Countries with relatively lower tourism decision mechanisms are Japan, Singapore, China, Taiwan, Malaysia, Canada, Mongolia, and India. Based on these analysis results, this study presents strategic improvement measures to revitalize Korean tourism industry, particularly after the pandemic.

The purpose of this study was to examine potential effects of nature- friendly hill climb sportsmen's participatory motivation and commitment experience on their sense of self-achievement and living satisfaction. To meet the goal, this study surveyed total 206 participants (male and female) in hill climb tournaments held at Daegwallyeong and Misiryeong, Gangwon province. For data processing, this study used SPSS 14.0 and amos 7.0 to conduct frequency analysis, reliability analysis, correlation analysis, descriptive statistic analysis and structural equation model analysis respectively. As a result, this study could come to the following conclusions: First, according to descriptive statistic analysis, it was found that our respondents who participated in nature-friendly hill climb sports scored relatively high points in their participatory motivation, commitment experience, sense of self-achievement and living satisfaction. Secondly, this study adopted Pearson's moment correlation analysis in order to determine potential associations among our respondents' participatory motivation, commitment experience, sense of self-achievement and living satisfaction. As a result, it was found that their participatory motivation was positively correlated with their living satisfaction, while their commitment experience was positively correlated with their sense of self-achievement. Thirdly, it was found that there were certain causalities among our respondents' participatory motivation, living satisfaction, commitment experience and sense of self-achievement.

This study was conducted with the goal of establishing a foothold for lifelong sports as well as establishing golf as a desirable leisure activity through the analysis of the relationship between golf participants' coach support, resilience and self-rated health. To achieve the goal of this study, a total of 300 questionnaires were distributed and 300 copies were collected back. Out of those returned questionnaires, insincerely replied or double-replied questionnaires were excluded and finally 278 questionnaires were analyzed for this study. For analysis of the data, frequency analysis, exploratory factor analysis, reliability analysis, confirmatory factor analysis, correlation analysis, and structural equating modeling were conducted using SPSS 18.0 and AMOS 18.0. Main findings were as follows: First coach support had a positive effect on resilience. Second, resilience had a positive effect on self-rated health. Third, coach support had a positive effect on self-rated health. Fourth, resilience mediated the relationship between golf participant coach support and self-rated health. Therefore, golf instructors should achieve specialization and diversification of educational programs through continuous learning about various teaching methods.

This study focused on the park as a space to support the behavior of urban citizens in modern society. Modern city parks are not spaces that play a specific role but are used by many people, so their function and meaning may change depending on the user's behavior. In addition, current online data may determine the selection of parks to visit or the usage of parks. Therefore, this study analyzed the change of behavior in Yeouido Park, Yeouido Hangang Park, and Yangjae Citizen's Forest from 2000 to 2018 by utilizing a time series analysis. The analysis method used Big Data techniques such as text mining and social network analysis. The summary of the study is as follows. The usage behavior of Yeouido Park has changed over time to "Ride" (Dynamic Behavior) for the first period (I), "Take" (Information Communication Service Behavior) for the second period (II), "See" (Communicative Behavior) for the third period (III), and "Eat" (Energy Source Behavior) for the fourth period (IV). In the case of Yangjae Citizens' Forest, the usage behavior has changed over time to "Walk" (Dynamic Behavior) for the first, second, and third periods (I), (II), (III) and "Play" (Dynamic Behavior) for the fourth period (IV). Looking at the factors affecting behavior, Yeouido Park was had various factors related to sports, leisure, culture, art, and spare time compared to Yangjae Citizens' Forest. The differences in Yangjae Citizens' Forest that affected its main usage behavior were various elements of natural resources. Second, the behavior of the target areas was found to be focused on certain main behaviors over time and played a role in selecting or limiting future behaviors. These results indicate that the space and facilities of the target areas had not been utilized evenly, as various behaviors have not occurred, however, a certain main behavior has appeared in the target areas. This study has great significance in that it analyzes the usage of urban parks using Big Data techniques, and determined that urban parks are transformed into play spaces where consumption progressed beyond the role of rest and walking. The behavior occurring in modern urban parks is changing in quantity and content. Therefore, through various types of discussions based on the results of the behavior collected through Big Data, we can better understand how citizens are using city parks. This study found that the behavior associated with static behavior in both parks had a great impact on other behaviors.
The purpose of this study was to examine the relationship between parental participation motivation, satisfaction, and intention to reuse children with developmental disabilities using psychomotor centers. To this end, a questionnaire survey was conducted on the parents of children participating in psycho-exercise programs at a private developmental disability center located in the metropolitan area. The collected data was 188 copies, and the causal relationship was verified through descriptive statistics, factor analysis and reliability analysis, correlation analysis and regression analysis. As a result of the analysis, the following conclusions were obtained. First, in the relationship between parental participation motivation and satisfaction with regard to psychological exercise participation of children with developmental disabilities, only pleasure and social factors were significant in use satisfaction, and only social, health and physical fitness factors in performance satisfaction showed a significant influence. Second, in the relationship between participation motivation and intention to reuse, there were significant influences on pleasure, skill development and sense of achievement, and social factors. Third, in the relationship between satisfaction and intention to reuse, intention to reuse was significantly explained in factors of satisfaction with use and satisfaction with performance. In order to increase the reuse rate of psychomotor centers in the future, it is judged that additional analysis is necessary in addition to the measurement variables of this study.

Purpose: There are many reports about facial bone fractures, but limited to retrospective data of a single hospital. Etiology and severity of the facial bone fracture have been changed and treatment method and materials have been advanced. In order to reflect those changes and provide up-to-date data of the facial bone fractures in Daegu, we gathered the data and analyzed the epidemiologic study. Methods: The medical records of 1058 fractures in 895 patients were gathered from 5 general hospitals in Daegu during last year and these data were analyzed by following parameters: age, sex, place of residence, occupation, cause of injury, time of injury, location of fracture, length of in-hospital stay, time of operation, treatment method, associated injury, complication. Statistical analysis was performed using the Chi-square test. Results: Most commonly involved age group was 20s(26%) and the sex ratio was 3.4:1(male predominance). Fractures were occurred more in unban and white-color workers. Among variable etiology of injury, traffic accident was the most common cause. Time of injury was heighest at 6 to 7 P.M., on Sunday, in July. Locations of fractures were following sequence: nasal, zygoma, mandible, orbit, maxilla. Mean length of in-hospital stay and time of operation after injury were 6.3 and 3.2 days, respectively. In treatment methods, operative methods were dominant than conservative management and general anesthesia were favored than local anesthesia. Associated injuries were noticed in 188 cases(21.2%) and complications were in 94 cases(8.9%) and among them, ocular problem were common. Conclusion: Compared to previous studies, mean age of occurrence was lowered and the etiologies showed age-specific pattern and reflected the change of lifestyle. In young age groups, sports injury, violence were more dominant and the other hand, traffic accident and fall were dominant in older groups.
The purpose of this research is to provide a proper model by analyzing the sports biomechanical of physical movements on the basis of the two patterns(open-stance and cross-stance) at the ready-to-start pose. The subjects for this study are composed of five male handball players from P university and five female shooting players from S university. Three-way moving actions at start(right, left, and forward) are recorded with two high-speed video cameras and measured with two Force platforms and a EMG system. Three-dimensional action analyzer, GRF system, and Whole body reaction movement system are used to figure out the moving mechanisms at the start pose. The analytic results of the moving mechanism at the start pose were as follows. 1. Through examining the three-way moving actions at start, I have found the cross-stance pose is better for the moving speed of body weight balance than the open-stance one. 175 degree of knee joint angle at "take-off" and 172 degree of hip joint angle were best for the start pose. 2. The Support time and GRF data shows that the quickest center of gravity shift was occurred when cross-stanced male subjects started to move toward his lefthand side. The quickest male's average supporting time of left and right foot is 0.19${\pm}$0.07 sec., 0.26${\pm}$0.06sec. respectively. The supporting time difference between two feet is 0.07sec. 3. Through analyzing GRF of moving actions at start pose, I have concluded that more than 1550N are overloaded on one foot at the open-stance start, and the overloaded force may cause physical injury. However, at the cross-stance pose, The GRF are properly dispersed on both feet, and maximum 1350N are loaded on one foot.
This study was undertaken to identify the influence which affect on gait speed and energy consumption regarding putting on arm sling during gait of the 40 hemiplegic patients selected from University Hospital and rehabilitation center in seoul during two months. The analysis of data was performed using the paired samples ttest to compare the differences of gait velocity, heart rate, oxygen consumption and oxygen cost in gait of preand post- arm sling. The results of this study were as follows; 1. When comparing the result before putting on arm sling in the gait of hemiplegic patient, gait velocity after putting on arm sling was statistically significantly increased(p<.05). 2. When comparing the result before putting on arm sling in the gait of hemiplegic patient, heart rate after putting on arm sling was statistically significantly decreased(p<.05). 3. When comparing the result before putting on arm sling in the gait of hemiplegic patient, oxygen consumption per weight after putting on arm sling was statistically significantly decreased(p<.05). 4. When comparing the result before putting on arm sling in the gait of hemiplegic patient, oxygen consumption rate per weight after putting on arm sling was statistically significantly decreased(p<.05). When putting together the above result, the gait with arm sling in comparison with the gait without arm sling was to increase gait velocity, decrease heart rate, decrease oxygen consumption and was finally to decrease energy consumption in the gait of hemiplegic patient.
