Frequency resource value is growing bigger more with the development of the wireless communication. But Frequency shortage phenomenon is risen seriously because the need of Frequency resource is very many compared with the supply in an information society of the future. So we need Cognitive technique Radio which is taking the attention recently to use Frequency resource not to be not using efficiently. We propose efficient Dynamic Spectrum Allocation method in IEEE a 802.22 WRAN environment of CR foundation in this paper. To share spectrum more efficiently, we presented some Dynamic Spectrum Allocation technique to apply the Variable bandwidth, Mobility and verified this through the result of the simulations.
Increasing convergence among heterogeneous radio networks is expected to be a key feature of future ubiquitous services. The convergence of radio networks in combination with dynamic spectrum allocation (DSA) could be a beneficial means to solve the growing demand for radio spectrum. DSA might enhance the spectrum utilization of involved radio networks to comply with user requirements for high-quality multimedia services. This paper proposes a simple spectrum allocation algorithm and presents an analytical model of dynamic spectrum resource allocation between two networks using a 4-D Markov chain. We argue that there may exist a break-even point for choosing whether or not to adopt DSA in a system. We point out certain circumstances where DSA is not a viable alternative. We also discuss the performance of DSA against the degree of resource sharing using the proposed analytical model and simulations. The presented analytical model is not restricted to DSA, and can be applied to a general resource sharing study.
This study was aimed to derive implications in terms of competition to establish a reasonable spectrum policy for fifth-generation (5G) spectrum allocation through an in-depth analysis of C-band spectrum auctions. As a result of examining auctions in five countries, namely, Belgium, Sweden, Canada, Brazil, and Hong Kong, we identified various characteristics. First, the minimum bandwidth that is essential for service competition is guaranteed. Second, in Brazil, the network construction cost of mobile network operators is regarded as a part of the spectrum price. Third, a joint allocation of spectrum is permitted in Sweden, and spectrum sharing after allocation for 5G services is allowed in Canada. Finally, the reserved spectrum is provided for new service providers in Belgium and Canada. Our findings may provide insights for establishing policies of 5G spectrum allocation and competition in the telecommunications service market in Korea.

In this paper, we propose the dynamic spectrum allocation (DSA) algorithm using spectrum sharing method considering the long-term priority between NOs and service classes for the maritime communication system environment where a ship locates at either near shore (or land) or off-shore. It was shown that the proposed algorithm using spectrum sharing with priorities could deliver better satisfaction ratio (SR) than the fixed allocation schemes, in the context of provision of required bandwidth (or spectrum) for each users. Therefore, we conclude that the proposed DSA with priorities could apply to the maritime communication environment and exploit the under-used (or unused, idle) spectrum of terrestrial communication networks.

The spectrum allocation is an attractive issue for mobile cognitive radio (CR) network. However, the time-varying characteristic of the spectrum allocation is not fully investigated. Thus, this paper originally deduces the probabilities of spectrum availability and interference constrain in theory under the mobile environment. Then, we propose a prediction mechanism of the time-varying available spectrum lists and the dynamic interference topologies. By considering the node mobility and primary users' (PUs') activity, the mechanism is capable of overcoming the static shortcomings of traditional model. Based on the mechanism, two prediction-based spectrum allocation algorithms, prediction greedy algorithm (PGA) and prediction fairness algorithm (PFA), are presented to enhance the spectrum utilization and improve the fairness. Moreover, new utility functions are redefined to measure the effectiveness of different schemes in the mobile CR network. Simulation results show that PGA gets more average effective spectrums than the traditional schemes, when the mean idle time of PUs is high. And PFA could achieve good system fairness performance, especially when the speeds of cognitive nodes are high.

In cognitive radio networks (CRNs), hybrid overlay and underlay sharing transmission mode is an effective technique for improving the efficiency of radio spectrum. Unlike existing works in the literature, where only one secondary user (SU) uses overlay and underlay modes, the different transmission modes should be allocated to different SUs, according to their different quality of services (QoS), to achieve the maximal efficiency of radio spectrum. However, hybrid sharing mode allocation for heterogeneous services is still a challenge in CRNs. In this paper, we propose a new resource allocation method for hybrid sharing transmission mode of overlay and underlay (HySOU), to achieve more potential resources for SUs to access the spectrum without interfering with the primary users. We formulate the HySOU resource allocation as a mixed-integer programming problem to optimize the total system throughput, satisfying heterogeneous QoS. To decrease the algorithm complexity, we divide the problem into two sub-problems: subchannel allocation and power allocation. Cutset is used to achieve the optimal subchannel allocation, and the optimal power allocation is obtained by Lagrangian dual function decomposition and subgradient algorithm. Simulation results show that the proposed algorithm further improves spectrum utilization with a simultaneous fairness guarantee, and the achieved HySOU diversity gain is a satisfactory improvement.
This paper presents an analytical framework for dynamic spectrum allocation in cognitive radio networks. We propose a distributed queuing based Markovian model each for single channel and multiple channels access for a contending user. Knowledge about spectrum mobility is one of the most challenging problems in both these setups. To solve this, we consider probabilistic channel availability in case of licensed channel detection for single channel allocation, while variable data rates are considered using channel aggregation technique in the multiple channel access model. These models are designed for a centralized architecture to enable dynamic spectrum allocation and are compared on the basis of access latency and service duration.

In recent decades, the heterogeneous and dynamic behavior of Internet traffic has placed new demands on the adaptive resource allocation of the optical network infrastructure. However, the advent of multifiber elastic optical networks has led to a higher degree of spectrum fragmentation than conventional flexible grid networks due to the dynamic and random establishment and removal of optical connections. In this paper, we propose heuristic routing and dynamic slot allocation algorithms to minimize spectrum fragmentation and reduce the probability of blocking future connection requests by considering the power consumption in elastic multifiber elastic optical networks.

This paper presents a spectrum sharing and allocation problem in multiple network operators(NOs). Most of previous works as to dynamic spectrum allocation(DSA) schemes have presented the DSA gain achieved by utilizing the time or regional variations in traffic demand between multi-network operators(NOs). In this paper, we introduce the functionalities required for the entities related with the spectrum sharing and allocation and propose a spectrum allocation algorithm while considering the long-term priority(or fairness) between NOs, the prioritybetween multiple class services, and the urgent bandwidth request. It was shown that the proposed algorithm with priorities between multiple class services could sustain better satisfaction ratio(SR) than the fixed allocation schemes or one without priority under different traffic patterns. Therefore, we conclude that the proposed DSA with priorities between multiple class services and network operators could provide the fairness between service classes of network operators and effective negotiation procedure for urgent bandwidth request by users.

Channel allocation is one of the important issues in the multichannel transmission. In the cognitive radio networks, channel allocation scheme should be designed to improve spectrum efficiency without interfering with the transmission of licensed users. In this paper, we propose a spectrum hole prediction based channel allocation scheme. The proposed channel allocation scheme, predicts spectrum hole by using the channel success rate, and limit the transmission of secondary user's data, and it reduces the interference to the primary user. The performance of proposed channel allocation scheme is evaluated by the computer simulation.
