There are reports that the myopia progression have been difference according to myopia degree and age. In this studies, we divided into three investigated groups. The A group is the lower elementary school(50), the B group is the high elementary school(50), the C group is the junior high school(50) and the D group is the high school students(50). The myopia progression have been compared with each group and most variable terms have been investigated. We have analyzed the refraction inspection record that were investigated to put on spectacles in three years(visiting three times or more). The subject of study were 200 persons(men 100, women 100), 1. The distribution of equivalence with ages : A group -2.72D, B group -2.90D, C group -3.53D, D group -3.96D. 2. The pupillary distance have been 57.4mm(A), 59.9mm(B), 61.6mm(C), 63.4mm(D). 3. On a monthly variation : -0.02D(A), -0.045(B), -0.050D(C), -0.025(D) in men, and -0.06D(A), -0.06D(B), -0.045(C), -0.04D(D) in women. 4. After due considering monthly variation and suppose that the variatting times of spectacles degress were time of refracting inspection. The result : 3.6 month for A group, 4.8 month for B group, 5.3 month for C group and 7.7 month for D group.

"Gone with the wind"(1939, Directed by Victor Fleming) was produced in the stylistic conventions of the classical hollywood cinema, and thus the musical employment also followed the norms of the style, such as late Romantic musical style, serving the narrative, signifier of emotion, and giving continuity and unity. But, at the same time, the statement of the classical theory that the music hides and tailors itself to support the drama - invisibility, inaudibility, narrative cuing and so on - does not seem to explain the musical employment of "Gone with the wind." On the contrary, it hires music to put itself forward, and often times it stops the narrative to show musical spectacles for which the image is tailored to fit the music. These are more of music theatre or music drama features rather than the conventional underscore of the films in that period. In this study analysed the musical employment of "Gone with the wind" to see how it took full advantage of music to lead the narrative in a more active way and to make musical spectacles, by borrowing the technique and style of music theatre, such as, overture and entr'acte, similarities with film musicals, Wagnerism influence, and the use of songs.

The physiology and morphology of cornea has effected on the ocular refractive status. Therefore the measurement of the anterior corneal surface by keratometer is used the treatment of the spectacles and contact lens by optician, optometrist, and ophthalmologist. Furthermore, currently the most corneal topographic mapping system have used the clinical optical shop, eye research center, and eye hospital. Because this method have a very fine data comparative to the previous instrument. The authors have measurement the cornea of the man college students by the corneal topographic mapping method. Especially this data will applied the clinical practice for the contact lens fitting. Especially in Korea, many man college students use the contact lens for the visual acuity and a beauty. Therefore the contact lens wear have increase per every year.

The theatre costume in English Renaissance which is scarce in its historical materials can be inferred and imaginarily reconstructed from classifying it according to types of theatre costumes and considering its specific form in that age. The history of fashion could be also approached in the light of theatre costumes and it might be some help to the present theatre costume. Thus the purpose of this thesis is for contributing to the study of theatre costume by inferring the English Renaissance theatre costume from classifications and research of its pattern in detail. This thesis consists of the overview of the periodical background of English Renaissance and then analysis of the stage surroundings ar that time and classification of the theater costume acording to the types and finally inferences of the pattern of forms of the theatre costume. The theatre costume in English Renaissance can be divided into these group:(1) for foreigners such as Roman Turk Spanish and Jews (2) for supernatural beings such as a nymph god, goddess, ghosts, and witches(3) for professionals such as a clown, a clergyman. doctors and senators(4) for cast of animals such as a lion a bear and pigs. In the Elizabethan period theatre costumes were used together with Elizabethan costumes on the stage. Generally the theatre costumes in the age were typically made of very expensive materials and spectacles to the audience and compensating for the poor stage settings.

Purpose. In this study, we divided elementary school students into two investigated groups. The A group is the lower graders(boys 9, girls 18), and the B group is the higher graders(boys 10, girls 13). The myopia progression has been compared with to each group and it has been investigated for variable terms. Methods. We have analyzed the refraction inspection record of 50 students(boys 19, girls 31) who visited optical shops and more than two times in one year. Results. The subject of study were 50 students(boys 19, girls 31). 1. The distribution of spherical equivalent power with ages : boys A group -2.42D, girls A group -2.53D, boys B group -2.63D, girls B group -2.78D. boys B group -2.63D, girls B group -2.78D. 2. The monthly variation of spherical equivalent power : -0.055D(A), -0.04D(B) in boys, and -0.065D(A), -0.07D(B) in girls. Conclusions. Considering monthly variations and Supposing that the time of changing spectacles degrees were the time of refracting inspection. The result : 3.8 month for A group, 4.5 month for B group in boys, and 3.5 month for A group, 5.2 month for B group in girls.

In this paper we propose a new algorithm to detect the irises of both eyes from a human face. Using the separability filter, the algorithm first extracts blobs(intensity valleys) as the candidates for the irises. Next, for each pair of blobs, the algorithm computes a cost using Hough transform and separability filter to measure the fit of the pair of blobs to the image. And then, the algorithm selects a pair of blobs with the smallest cost as the irises of both eyes. As the result of the experiment using 150 faces images without spectacles, the success rate of the proposed algorithm was 97.3% for the best case and 95.3% for the worst case.

After we compared the Unaided visual acuity and the Corrected visual acuity who were wearing eyeglasses, over second grade of elementary school in Chonju and Iksan, we could get conclusions like these. 1. The grades are getting higher, there are more who are wearing eyeglasses. 2. Unaided visual acuity becomes worse but and Corrected visual acuity becomes better according to older. 3. There are 23 eye, (17.8%) in boys and 38 eye, (19.2%) in girls who have below 0.6 of the Corrected visual acuity who have to change their eyeglasses. 4. If Unaided visual acuity is getting better, Corrected visual acuity is betre. 5. There were 4 boys (6.2%) and 9 girls (9%) is Anisometropia.

This is a study of measurement of inter Reading Pupillary Distance (P.D.) in 729 old aged farmers (aged over 50). The average of Reading Pupillary Distance (P.D.) in man (58.93mm) is bigger than in woman (57.82mm), and the O.C. of Ready-made Reading Spectacles is 68.98mm.

The glucoamylase of Candida tsuubaensis was purified to homogeneity form culture filtrate by means of ultrafiltration, Sephacryl S-200 gel filtration and Sp-Sephadex C-50 chromatography. The purified enzyme was a glycoprotein with a molecular mass of approximately 50 kDa, which was a monomeric protein. Km values were 5.8 mg/ml for soluble starch and 0.04 mM for maltose. Glucoamylase also released only glucose from both pullulan and isomaltose. The analysis of amino acid composition revealed that the enzyme contained a high content of acidic and polar amino acids. In addition, Western blotting analysis indicates that C. tsukubaensis glucoamylase is resistant to glucose repression.
