This study is to establish the direction to produce owner's basic specifications (English version) necessary for producing project specifications available internationally in the projects to develop water resources. The principal conclusions of this study are as follows; (1) The original text necessary for producing the international owner's basic specifications should be specifications of one part between northern America and Europe. (2) The work break down structure of the international owner's basic specifications shall be conform to the international break down structure of specifications, and the MasterFormat(2004) of CSI is recommended. (3) The construction management methods, for example, as to standards, laws, and etc. in the international owner's basic specifications should be available internationally.

In the actual system development site, the various specifications are drawn up into each phase, namely analysis, design, development and implementation, beginning with the analysis of user requirements and data involved. The part of the specifications are continuously drawn up by using automated tool, but all specification are not automatically drawn up. Therefore, many inconsistent items occur between the specifications. In this paper, we propose the method which detects the error which is included in the specifications, and we are going to design and implement a specification error detection system based on this.

Korean government regulates the technical specifications for the terminal equipments connecting to public telephone network, while equipments in the market are subjected to the type-approval confirming with the technical specifications. foreseeing the revision of the technical specifications, this paper discussed on technologies considered to be additional to the specifications including ADSL modem and power-line communication equipment.

Research on the "Modernized Korean traditional housing" (Hanok) has been actively studied in succeeding to Korean traditional housing and providing the public with housing that required for modernized life style. The purpose of this study is to classify work sections for Hanok specifications. This paper analyzed the concepts and characteristics of existing specifications. It was found that the absence of standard classifications is one of the causes of missing work items and mixed scopes. Also, the contents of carpentry works have low level of details. Therefore, Hanok specifications, in this study, are required to have upper level standards and to encompass traditional and new construction methods. Further research will develop standard classifications, standard codes, and automated systems of Hanok specifications for improving quality and effectiveness.

Construction Standard Specifications, part of contract documents, has been improved through various amendments since their first enactment in 1967 up to the latest 2013 version. However, complaints about inconvenience and low availability have been continuously made in their structure and contents. Therefore, an improvement is needed based on the experts' opinions both from industrial and academic fields. This basic study is to compare the Korean specifications to those from the developed countries and derive the suggestions on their improvement. Furthermore, it aims to delve into the experts' opinion on the subject and identify the direction and priority for the improvement of the specifications. Through this study, user friendliness and efficiency are expected to be obtained in using the specifications.

In many parts of the world, low cost housing used to be built and maintained by the governments, based on designs and detail specifications prepared by the public sector with construction carried out by contractors. Results vary due to differences in design standards, workmanship and property management, depending also on the neighbourhood's care of the estates and their pattern of usage. In the UK, where Private Finance Initiative (PFI) has been used for infrastructure projects, there have been successful cases of city estate being transformed by PFI. These PFI housing schemes involve new-build, refurbishment as well as facility management. Unlike traditional construction, which is based on prescriptive specifications, PFI housing is based on output specifications. A study has been undertaken to compare the two specification approaches as they are applied to housing estate. Results are enlightening and serve as good reference to cities such as Hong Kong SAR and Singapore, where public housing provisions have been a major concern of their citizens as the building stock gets older.

본 논문은 SCR 방법으로 작성된 요구사항 명세의 정형적인 의미론을 제안한다. 먼저 우리는 SCR 명세를 시간적전이시스템으로 변환함으로써 SCR 명세의 의미론을 정의한다. 그리고 우리는 SCR 방법을 실시간 시스템의 명세를 위하여 확장하며, 확장된 SCR 명세의 의미론 또한 시간적전이시스템으로의 변환을 통하여 정의한다. 이러한 의미론은 SCR 명세의 병행성과 시간 개념을 제대로 나타낼 수 있으며, 시간적전이시스템에서의 검증 방법을 SCR 명세의 검증에 직접 적용할 수 있게 하는 장점이 있다.Abstract This paper presents a formal semantics for requirements specifications written in the SCR method. We define a semantics for SCR specifications by a translational approach into timed transition systems. Then we extend the SCR method for real-time systems and define a semantics for timed SCR specifications. The main benefit from providing such semantics is that it provides a natural modeling of concurrency and time in SCR specifications. The semantics enables us to directly apply verification methods for timed transition systems to SCR specifications.

Despite the fact that the dissolution test can serve as an effective tool for drug quality control and prediction of in vivo drug performance, there are a number of drugs with no established dissolution specifications because they were developed quite a long time ago. Under this circumstances, KFDA started the new project that establishes dissolution method and specifications for drugs with no dissolution specifications listed in the Korea Pharmaceutical Codex (KPC). This project aims for promoting the appropriate management of oral solid dosage forms. Seoul regional KFDA selected 2 items, Nicametate citrate tablet and Norfloxacin capsule, for establishing dissolution specifications. We went through the following procedures to develop the dissolution method and specifications: (1) Validation of dissolution test equipment, (2) Purchase of test drugs, (3) Preliminary test with one of the test products (1 lot), (4) Validation of analysis methods (3 lots), (5) Final tests and cross tests among other laboratory to establish dissolution specifications, (6) Additional test with the other test drugs. The outcome of this study will be reflected in revision of the KPC. It is believed that the quality control and evaluation of oral solid dosage forms listed in KPC will be advanced with the revision which adds additional dissolution test and specifications for the drugs with no established dissolution specifications.

The purpose of this study was to classify size specifications of the Korean adult male for the men's ready-made garments, especially jacket and dress shirts. By the stratified sampling method, data were collected by the real anthropometric measurement and by the photo-graphic sources. Sample size was 532 subjects as the sample and their age range was from 28 to 35 years old. 66 variables from the direct anthropometric data in total were applied to analyze. ANOVA in SPSS WIN package was applied to the data and the expected frequency distribution of 10.000 men was calculated by the extraction of density function. This study was performed to classify size specifications by the control dimensions and at the same interval of KS-K. The drop values of 15, 12 and 9 have the high coverage rate of 26.00%, 24.29% and 21.06% respectively and are composed of the majority of 71.35% of the subjects. According to the drop values, size specifications and distribution of control and reference dimensions are predicted. About 52.12% of the expected frequency distribution without stature were covered by 12 size specifications.
