탐색공간 최적화를 통한 시그니쳐기반 트래픽 분석 시스템 성능향상 (Performance Improvement of Signature-based Traffic Classification System by Optimizing the Search Space)

  • 인터넷에 기반한 응용 프로그램의 종류와 네트워크 대역폭이 증가하면서 페이로드 시그니처 기반 트래픽 분류 시스템에서 처리하는 데이터의 양이 급격하게 증가하고 있다. 대용량 트래픽 데이터에 대한 처리 속도를 향상시키기 위한 방법으로 다양한 패턴 매칭 알고리즘이 제안되고 있다. 하지만 비약적으로 늘어나는 시그니처의 수와 트래픽 양에 비해 패턴 매칭 알고리즘의 성능 향상 속도는 한정적이고, 입력데이터의 특성에 의존적인 성능을 나타낸다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 분류 시스템의 입력 데이터로 제공되는 트래픽 데이터와 시그니처의 탐색 공간을 최적화할 수 있는 분류, 시스템 구조를 제안한다. 또한 제안하는 분류 시스템을 학내 망에서 발생하는 대용량의 트래픽에 실시간으로 적용하여 그 타당성을 증명한다.

  • In this paper, Korea's first geostationary Communication, Ocean and Meteorological Satellte(COMS) program is introduced. COMS program is one of the Korea National Space Programs to develop and operate a pure civilian satellite of practical-use for the compound missions of meteorological observation and ocean monitoring, and space test of experimentally developed communication payload on the geostationary orbit. The target launch of COMS is scheduled at the end of 2008. COMS program is international cooperation program between KARI and ASTRIUM SAS and funded by Korean Government. COMS satellite is a hybrid satellite in the geostationary orbit, which accommodates multiple payloads of MI(Meteorological Imager), GOCI(Geostationary Ocean Color Imager), and the Ka band Satellite Communication Payload into a single spacecraft platform. The MI mission is to continuously extract meteorological products with high resolution and multi-spectral imager, to detect special weather such as storm, flood, yellow sand, and to extract data on long-term change of sea surface temperature and cloud. The GOCI mission aims at monitoring of marine environments around Korean peninsula, production of fishery information (Chlorophyll, etc.), and monitoring of long-term/short-term change of marine ecosystem. The goals of the Ka band satellite communication mission are to in-orbit verify the performances of advanced communication technologies and to experiment wide-band multi-media communication service mandatory.

  • According to the national space program in Korea, is satellites will be launch into space up to 2015. Especially, KARI is going to develope of its own a high resolution camera of less than 1m to be mounted on next Multipurpose Satellite. When performing testing of large spacecraft or hardware that will be launched into orbit, it is necessary to conduct a testing with space-simulated environment. To achieve this requirement, thermal vacuum chamber is generally used. KARI has been developed a very Large Thermal Vacuum Chamber(LTVC) from 2003 to accomodate future space program, such as KOMPSAT, COMS, and Launch vehicles. This new facility will be used to qualify the first self developed High Resolution Camera, which will be loaded on KOMPSAT-3. To perform an optical test for space camera, it is necessary to provide vibration free environment. Thus the vibration responses on the optical table due to external vibration should be minimized by using a special isolation system. In this paper, we propose the concept design of vibration isolation system for the development of the high resolution camera.

  • In this study, we proposed a water rocket CULV-1 (Chosun University Launch Vehicle-1). Unlike a conventional water rocket, CULV-1 can perform the booster rocket, fairing, and payload separation like an actual launch vehicle and also the imaging data acquisition. The conceptual and critical design of the proposed CULV-1 have been performed considering the operation characteristics. The verification tests have been performed from subsystem to system level in accordance with the established test specifications and verification procedures. Through the final launch test of the flight model, we have verified the design effectiveness of the proposed separation mechanisms for water rocket applications and the mission requirements of the CULV-1 also have been complied.

  • The MIRIS (Multi-purpose IR Imaging System), as the main payload of Science and Technology Satellite-3 (STSAT-3), is being developed by KASI in collaboration with several institutes for wide-field space observation in near IR wavelength. The Engineering Qualification Model (EQM) of MIRIS has been designed and fabricated in the laboratory. The system performance tests have been made including opto-mechanics, vibration test, thermal-vacuum environmental test and passive cooling test down to 200K. Most of the performance test results were satisfied with system requirements. The results of MIRIS performance tests have been presented at Critical Design Review (CDR) on September 2009. Several revisions were also recommended for Flight Model (FM) design, and detailed plan to develop FM of MIRIS is discussed in this paper.

  • Under the hostile influence of the extreme space environmental conditions due to the deep space and direct solar flux, the thermal control in space applications is especially of major importance. There are tight temperature range restrictions for electro-optical elements while on the other hand there are low power consumption requirements due to the limited energy sources on the spacecraft. So, we usually have strong requirement of thermal and power control module in space applications. In this paper, the design concept of a thermal and power control module in the MSC(Multi-Spectral Camera) system which will be a payload on KOMPSATII is described in terms of H/W & S/W. This thermal and power control module, called THTM(Thermal and Telemetry Module) in MSC, resides inside the PMU(Payload Management Unit) which is responsible for the proper management of the MSC payload for controlling and monitoring the temperature insides the EOS(Electro-Optic System) and gathering all the analog telemetry from all the MSC sub-units, etc. Particularly, the designed heater controller has the special mode of "duty cycle" in addition to normal closed loop control mode as usual. THTM controls heaters in open loop according to on/off set time designed through analysis in duty cycle mode in case of all thermistor failure whereas it controls heaters by comparing the thermistor value to temperature based on closed loop in normal mode. And a designed THTM provides a checking and protection method against the failure in thermal control command using the test pulse in command itself.

  • We have designed and manufactured the Earth observation camera (EOC) of multi-purpose infrared imaging system (MIRIS). MIRIS is a main payload of the STSAT-3, which will be launched in late 2012. The main objective of the EOC is to test the operation of Korean IR technology in space, so we have designed the optical and mechanical system of the EOC to fit the IR detector system. We have assembled the flight model (FM) of EOC and performed environment tests successfully. The EOC is now ready to be integrated into the satellite system waiting for operation in space, as planned.

  • KASI is developing the MIRIS (Multi-purpose IR Imaging System), as the main payload of Science and Technology Satellite-3 (STSAT-3). The Engineering Qualification Model (EQM) of the MIRIS has been recently fabricated, and Flight Model (FM) is now in final development stage. The system performance tests have been made mainly with EQM, and partly with FM in the laboratory, including opto-mechanics test, vibration test, thermal-vacuum test and passive cooling test down to 200K, using a thermal controlled vacuum chamber. Most of the system performance test results of the MIRIS are satisfied with the required specifications and its results were reflected in development of the FM with several revisions of the system design. In this paper, we present detailed system performance test procedures of the MIRIS and its results.

  • Korea Pathfinder Lunar Orbiter (KPLO) is a first Korean Lunar exploration mission. KPLO is equipped with four payloads in Korea and one payload in United States. KMAG is one of Korean payloads to measure the Moon's magnetic field. Moon has a no dipole magnetic field such as earth's global magnetic field. But there are many curious crustal magnetic anomalies. these features still do not well understood. This is a main scientific objective of KMAG payload and the study of space environment around moon is a second objective. KMAG has three magnetometers which are mounted in the edge of the 1.2 meter boom. This paper shows a KMAG's requirements, instrument description, and a preliminary function test results.

  • KARI is developing a satellite launch vehicle that is called KSLV(Korea Space Launch Vehicle)-I. During the flight, launch vehicles are exposed to aerodynamic heating conditions while flying at high Mach numbers in the atmosphere. KARI constructed Aerodynamic Thermal Simulation Facility to simulate aerodynamic heating on the ground. ATSF is a facility that can simulate given temperature profile using about 4,000 halogen heaters on fairing model. Aerodynamic heating profile is got from result of thermal analysis using MINIVER, Thermal Desktop, and SINDA/FLUINT. Aerodynamic heating test of fairing of KSLV-I was done using engineering model of payload fairing and Aerodynamic Thermal Simulation Facility. It was found that thermal analytic results show good agreement with aerodynamic heating test results within 6$^{\circ}$C at fairing inner surface. Also it was confirmed that maximum temperature of fairing nose-cone inner surface during flight is lower than allowable temperature limit.
