지표면에 의한 음의 초과 감쇠 특성 연구 (A Study on the Characteristics of Excess Attenuation of the Sound due to the Ground)

  • This study observed the meterological influence on the excess attenuation with various flow resistivities. The flow resistivity is simulated up to 30, 000 cgs rayls. There is no significant differences among results from spherical wave analysis for excess attenuation, from plane wave analysis, and from locally reacting analysis. This is validated only when the flow resistivity is more than 100 cgs rayls. For the determination of effective flow resistivity of ground by measuring the excess attenuation experimentally, it is highly recommended that the distance between source and receiver is about 2.5m, and that the height of them is 0.3-0.4 m in case that they have the same height. Under this proposed conditions, the flow resistivity of 6-month-passed asphalt ground is estimated to 5, 000 cgs rayls by comparing the measured excess attenuation with the calculated.

  • It has been shown that the vibrational response of a tire can be represented by a set of decaying waves, each associated with a particular cross-sectional mode shape in the region near the contact patch. Thus, it can be concluded that tires can be effectively modeled as lossy waveguides. It has also been shown that the sound radiation from tires is mainly from the region close to the contact patch. In consequence, it may be computationally efficient to analyze tire vibration and sound radiation in the region close to the contact patch by using a hybrid finite element model in which the cross-section of a tire is approximated by 2-D finite elements while an analytical wave solution is assumed in the circumferential direction of the tire. In this article. a hybrid finite element was formulated based on a composite shell model. The dispersion relations for sample structures obtained by using the hybrid FE model were then compared with those obtained by using a full, three-dimensional FE model. It has been shown that the FE analysis made using the hybrid 2-D finite elements yields results in close agreement with the three-dimensional model.

  • A machine tool generally has some serious stability problems in the form of tool chatter during the cutting process. Chatter vibration deteriorates the surface finish, reduce tool and machine life, accelerates machine tool system component wear, and may lead to an unacceptable noise sound in the working environment. In this study, the behavior of spectral density of AE signal and principal cutting force signal in order to monitor the chatter vibration in the cutting process has been investigated. From the results, the reliability of proposed monitoring method has been confirmed.

  • 압전식 충격파 쇄석기를 사용하여 대상물을 파쇄하는 과정에서 발생하는 음의 특성을 조사한 결과, 대상물이 파쇄됨에 따라 방사음이 더욱 저주파대로 이동한다는 실험적인 결과가 발표되었고(2), 이 결과를 입증하기 위하여 실제의 대상물이 파쇄되어가는 과정을 모델링하여 제작한 대상물을 사용한 실험에서도 동일한 결과가 관측되었다. 본 논문에서는 이와 같이 실험적으로 밝혀진 연구결과를 이론적으로 확인하고자 한다. 따라서, 유한요소법을 이용한 수치 시뮬레이션을 실험과 유사하게 모델링한 대상물에 실행하였고, 시뮬레이션에서 관측된 결과를 제시하여 실험적으로 관측된 결과가 이론적으로도 유효하다는 것을 입증하였다.

  • To identify the locations and strengths of acoustic sources, one may use a microphone line array. Apparent advantage of the source identification method utilizing a line array is that it requires less measurement points than intensity method and holography. This method is based on the information of magnitude and phase difference between pressure signals at each microphone. Since those differences are dependent on the source model, we have to assume them such as plane, monopole, etc. In this paper the conventional source identification methods such as beamforming method and MUSIC method are briefly reviewed by modeling a source as plane and spherical wave, then a modified method is introduced. This can be applied to sound field which may by either coherent or incoherent. Typical simulations and experiment are performed to confirm this identification method.

파이프-유체의 연성진동을 이용한 누수위치 식별연구 (Pinpointing of Leakage Location Using Pipe-fluid Coupled Vibration)

  • Leaks in underground pipelines can cause social, environmental and economical problems. One of relevant countermeasures against leaks is to find and repair of leak points of the pipes. Leak noise is a good source to identify the location of leak points of the pipelines. Although there have been several methods to detect the leak location with leak noise, such as listening rods, hydrophones or ground microphones, they have not been so efficient tools. In this paper, accelermeters aroused to detect leak locations which could provide an easier and more efficient method. Filtering, signal processing and algorithm of raw input data from sensors for the detection of leak location are described. A 120m-long and a 70m-long experimental pipeline systems are installed and the results with the systems show that the algorithm with the accelerometers offers accurate pinpointing for leaks location detection. Theoretical analysis of sound wave propagation speed of water in underground pipes, which is critically important in leak locating, is also described.

적응 필터를 이용한 관내의 공동진동주파수 추정 (Estimation of Cavity Vibration Frequency in Air Tubes Using Adaptive Filter)

  • Frequency of cavity vibration in air flowing tube is closely related to a velocity of air. In this research, an instrumentation system to estimate frequency of cavity vibration for measurement of the velocity and quantity of a moving fluid is implemented by using DSP TMS320C32. Measurement of the generated sound wave frequency in cavity is difficult because of environmental noise. Adaptive filters are used to eliminate this noise effectively. The estimated velocity and quantity of a moving fluid by proposed system is compared with the results measured by a standard flow meter.

임피던스 튜브 내에 설치된 평판의 음파투과해석 (An Analysis of the Sound Transmission through a Plate Installed inside an Impedance Tube)

  • 본 논문은 단면이 정사각형인 임피던스 튜브 내에 고정된 평판의 STL(Sound Transmission Loss)을 해석적으로 구하는 방법을 다루었다. 평판의 진동과 튜브 내의 음장의 연성거동(coupled motion)을 고려하였는데 평판의 진동과 튜브 음장을 무한 급수의 합으로 전개하였으며 평면파 가정을 이용하여 처음 몇 개의 모드만 고려하여도 충분히 정확한 결과를 얻음을 보였다. 평판은 클램프(clamp) 지지로 가정하였는데 진동 모드는 단면의 가로 및 세로방향 보(beam) 진동 모드의 곱으로 전개하였고 고유진동수는 Rayleigh-Ritz 방법을 이용하여 구하였다. 평판의 STL은 가장 낮은 고유진동수에서 골(dip)을 가지며 주파수가 이보다 작아지면 STL은 커짐을 보였다. 기존 논문의 측정 및 FEM(Finite Element Method) 해석결과와 비교한 결과 잘 일치함을 확인하였다.

고속 연안 여객선의 음질 평가 (The Sound Quality Evaluation of High-speed Coastal Passenger Ships)

  • 최근 여객선이 고속화, 고금화되고 있는 추세에 따라 선실내 소음 저감이 중요한 설계 요소로 간주되고 있다. 일반적으로 선박 소으믄 음암레벨로 평가되나 여객선의 경우 승객에게 더욱 쾌적한 환경을 제공하기 위하여 음질을 개선할 필요가 있다. 본 연구에서는 연근해를 운항 중인 기존 고속 여객선의 소음을 계측하고, 정신음향학 분야에서 제시된 Zwicker Loudness 계산식에 의거하여 음의 크기, 거칙기, 변동세기 및 날카로움으로 음질을 평가하였다. 또한, 각각의 음질 평가요소와 음압간의 상관관계를 분석하였다. 상기 결과로부터 고속여객선의 음의 크기는 음압과 비례하는 반면에 음의 거질치 (roughness),변동세기(fluctuation strength)및 날카로움(sharpness)은 선박의 운동과 추락변동 등으로 인하여 음압과 비선형적인 상관관계를 나타냄을 확인하였다.
