원통형 임피던스 튜브 내 미세천공 탄성 판의 흡음 (Sound absorption of micro-perforated elastic plates in a cylindrical impedance tube)

  • 본 논문은 원형 단면 임피던스 튜브내에 고정된 미세천공 탄성판의 흡음을 해석적으로 구하는 방법을 다루었다. 판의 진동과 덕트 내부 음장을 모드 함수의 무한 급수의 합으로 전개하였는데 반경방향으로는 Bessel 함수를 포함한다. 평면파 가정하에서 저주파수 대역의 근사식을 판의 처음 몇 개의 모드만 고려하여 흡음율을 유도하였으며 등가 임피던스를 갖는 단일 표면의 형태로 제시하였다. 본 논문에서 제안한 공식과 FEM(Finite Element Method)을 이용한 결과는 잘 일치 하였는데 탄성의 효과는 판의 고유진동수에 해당하는 골 또는 피크의 형태로 나타난다. 천공율이 매우 작으면 진동의 영향이 지배적이나 천공율이 어느 한계이상 되면 박판의 탄성거동은 매우 작게 나타나고 강체 MPP(Micro-Perforated Plate)의 흡음 특성이 지배적이 된다.

  • In this study, the acoustic properties of steel-wire sound absorbing materials with different thickness and bulk density were investigated in terms of characteristic impedance, propagation constant, and absorption coefficient. The well-known two-cavity method was used for evaluating those acoustic parameter values in experiments. Also, in order to validate the experimentally measured values, the results were compared with the results obtained from Chung and Blaser's transfer function method and SWR method. The experimentally measured values of normal absorption coefficients were generally agreed well with the corresponding values from the transfer function method and the SWR method. Based on the experimental results, the following conclusions could be made. The magnitude of the absorption coefficient and the frequency range of the maximum absorption coefficient were controllable by changing the thickness and bulk density of the sound absorbing materials. Also, the magnitude of the absorption coefficient depended on the characteristic impedance and the propagation constant. As large as the air cavity depth at the rear side of the steel-wire sound absorbing materials, the maximum magnitude of the absorption coefficient occurred at the lower frequency ranges.

  • Foamed aluminum is well known metallic porous sound absorption material which has excellent properties of light weight and high absorbing performance. For the purpose of finding out the sound field characteristics within a simple closed cubic enclosure with foamed aluminum, analytic and experimental studies are performed. For the first time, the standing wave apparatus is used to measure absorption coefficient and impedance of the foamed aluminum. Next, the sound effects of absorption material in acoustically loaded rectangular enclosure are identified according as the foamed aluminim is to be or not.

공석 시 측정값을 활용한 만석 시 강의실의 음향상태 예측법 (Proposing a simple procedure for predicting the acoustical conditions in occupied classrooms from the measured unoccupied values)

  • This work proposes a simple method to use the added absorption per person values to predict the expected values of the acoustical conditions in occupied classrooms. This method is based on the effects of the values of added absorption per person on the unoccupied total absorption values of the classrooms and on other room acoustical parameters. The total sound absorption in an unoccupied classroom can be calculated from measured reverberation times in the classroom. The expected occupied absorption can be calculated using equation which was obtained in a previous study (Choi, 2017) by fitting a linear regression line to a plot of total occupied absorption versus the corresponding unoccupied total absorption values measured in 12 university classrooms. The ratios of occupied-to-unoccupied sound absorption are used to predict increments in the values of acoustical parameters that result when occupants are added to the rooms.

탈리그닌처리에 의한 목재의 흡음성능과 구조적 특징의 변화 (Changes of Sound Absorption Capability and Anatomical Features of Wood by Delignification Treatment)

  • 목재에 대한 탈리그닌처리에 의한 목재의 흡음성능과 구조적 특징의 변화를 관찰하고자 목재횡단방향으로 채취한 원반형시험편을 탈리그닌처리하여 무 처리 목재와 구조적 특징의 변화를 관찰하고, 흡음율을 측정 비교하였다. 측정주파수범위에서 탈리그닌처리한 시험편이 보통의 시험편보다 높은 흡음율을 나타내었으며, 특히 2~4 KHz의 주파수영역에서는 50% 정도 높은 흡음율을 나타내었다. 또한 탈리그닌처리한 목재는 무 처리 목재보다 중량이 8% 정도 감소하였으며, 탈리그닌처리한 목재의 횡단면에서는 다수의 미세할렬이 발생하여 이들이 흡음공극으로 작용하여 특정주파수영역에서 흡음율이 증가된 것으로 사료된다.

  • 적절한 용도개발이 필요한 조선산업 폐합판의 흡음성능과 기계적 성질을 파악하고자 메이플과 메란티 폐합판을 적층하고 재단하여 폐합판재활용보드를 만들어 전달함수법으로 흡음율을 측정하고 휨강도를 측정하였다. 메이플과 메란티에서 제작된 폐합판 적층 보드의 최대강도는 각각 534와 414 kgf/$cm^2$으로 나타나 상용합판과 비교하여 비슷한 강도성능을 나타내었다. 측정주파수범위에서 메란티 폐합판재활용보드의 흡음율은 0.25 전후의 수치를 나타내어 비교 대상인 섬유판과 신갈나무 시험편보다 높은 흡음율을 나타내었다. 폐합판 재활용보드의 측면을 슬라이스절삭하여 제작한 보드는 우수한 강도적 성능과 흡음성능으로 실내장식재로의 재활용이 기대되었다.

  • An equivalent electroacoustic circuit approach of estimating the sound absorption coefficient for parallel perforated plate system is proposed. The proposed approach is validated by comparing the calculated absorption coefficients of a parallel single layer perforated plate system with the values measured by the two-microphone impedance tube method for various porosity and the number of perforated plate. The sound absorbing performances of parallel and series perforated plate systems are compared and discussed from a standpoint of frequency bandwidth with sound absorption. The proposed approach is further extended to the parallel double layer perforated plate system.

  • The results of an experiment on the sound absorption of the porous concrete using recycled aggregates and its influence on the compressive strength are reported in this paper. The content of recycled aggregate of 0, 10, 30, 50 and 70%, and the design void ratio of 30 percent for a given size of aggregate were used. In the compressive strength, an aggregate of the size of 5~13mm is much higher strength than that of the 13~20mm, In sound absorption experiment, the sound absorption ratio was is subjected to decreased as the content of recycled aggregates was increased. As a result, Porous concrete using recycled aggregates and by-products sufficiently have the performance of sound absorption.
