Design and Implementation of the Reuse-Easiness Measurement System Using Fuzzy Logic

  • Software reuse is a method which increases the productivity of software, nevertheless software reuse is not employed well in real world. One of the important factors occured this proplem is insufficinet inforamtion in understanding and adapting the existing components. Understanding and adapting of components can be measured emplying user's experience and the attributes which the existing programs provide. Especially user's experience is very important attribute in understanding and adapting components, and it can't be measured by simple metrics. We propose in this paper, the reuse-easingess measurement system using fuzzy logic. This system can provide information regarding reusing components by reflecting user's experience from user's point of view, and can reduce the reuse effort signinificantly.

  • A test simulator is needed to develop a fuel quantity measurement system that takes into account the roll and pitch motion of the aircraft. In this paper, we develop a test simulator that consists of attitude simulation equipment, fueling equipment, and data storage equipment. The attitude simulation equipment simulates the aircraft attitude. It is manufactured to operate pitch angle and roll angle movement. The fueling equipment supplies fuel to the supplementary fuel tank. The data storage equipment collects and stores the measured data. We also develop an automation software that operates the test simulator and collects data automatically. The test simulator has been automated to prevent testers from being exposed to toxic fuel. Through automation software, the collection period is reduced by one quarter compared to manual collection. The developed fuel quantity measurement system is verified through the test simulator.

  • 소프트웨어 제품을 실행시키기 위해 요구되는 데이타의 품질은 소프트웨어 품질에 영향을 미치고 있다 특히 대용량의 데이타로부터 의미 있는 지식을 추출하는 지식공학 시스템에서 원시 데이터의 품질을 보장하는 일은 매우 중요하다. 본 논문에서는 데이타의 측정 도구인 DAQUM도구를 설계 구현하였다. 본 논문에서는 DAQUM도구의 설계 및 구현에 관한 주요내용을 기술하고, 사례연구를 통하여 DAQUM도구가 오류데이타를 검색하여 데이타 사용자 관점에서 데이타의 품질을 정량적으로 측정 가능하도록 함을 나타낸다. DAQUM도구는 데이타의 품질 측정 및 품질 제어를 가능하게 함으로써 데이타를 주로 처리하는 소프트웨어 제품의 품질 향상에 기여할 수 있다.

  • 스마트폰을 이용한 모바일 인터넷 전화 서비스의 사용이 급속도로 확산되고 있다. 기존의 전화망이나 이동 전화망을 통한 전화 서비스와는 달리 인터넷 전화는 서비스 품질이 보장될 수 없다는 문제점이 있고 특히 무선 환경을 통한 모바일 인터넷 전화 서비스의 경우 이 문제점은 더 심각해 질 수 있다. 따라서 모바일 인터넷 전화의 성공적인 정착과 활성화를 위해서는 보다 체계화된 철저한 품질 관리가 요구된다. 기존의 계측기를 이용한 측정 기반의 사후 품질 관리를 개선하기 위해서 본 논문에서는 서비스 이용자 단말에 설치되어 각종 품질 지표를 측정할 수 있는 소프트웨어를 개발하였다. 개발된 소프트웨어를 이용하면 모바일 음성 서비스의 품질을 상시적인 그리고 서비스 이용자의 능동적인 품질 측정이 가능하다는 장점이 있다.

Real-Time Power Electronics Remote Wiring and Measurement Laboratory (PermLAB) Using 3-D Matrix Switching Algorithms

  • This paper presents a new architecture, called "Power Electronics Remote Wiring and Measurement Laboratory (PermLAB)", that translates a common gateway interface (CGI) string from a remote web user to a web server connected to a 3-dimension switching matrix board, can be used to switch on and off, and to control a cluster of instruments and components. PermLAB addresses real-time connection, switching, and data acquisition over the Internet instead of using simulated data. A software procedure uses a signature system to identify each instrument and component in a complex system. The Web-server application is developed in HTML, JavaScript and Java, and in C language for the CGI interface, which resides in a controller portion of LabVIEW. The LabVIEW software fully integrates the Web sever, LabVIEW data acquisition boards and controllers, and the 3-dimensional switching matrix board. The paper will analyze a half-wave rectifier (AC - DC converter) circuit connected over the Internet using the PermLAB. PermLAB allows students to obtain real data by real-time wiring of real circuits in the laboratory using a "virtual breadboard" on the Web. The software for the Web-based 3-dimensional system is flexible, portable, can be integrated into many laboratory applications or expanded, and easily accessible worldwide.

  • Software measurement is a key factor in managing, controlling, and improving the software development processes. Software quality is one of the most important factors for assessing the global competitive position of any software company. Thus the quantification of quality parameters and integrating them into quality models is very essential. Software quality criteria are not very easily measured and quantified. Many attempts have been made to exactly quantify the software quality parameters using various models such as ISO/IEC 9126 Quality Model, Boehm's Model, McCall's model, etc. In this paper an attempt has been made to provide a tool for precisely quantifying software quality factors with the help of quality factors stated in ISO/IEC 9126 model. Due to the unpredictable nature of the software quality attributes, the fuzzy multi criteria approach has been used to evolve the quality of the software.

  • 항공기 항속시간에 영향을 미치는 요소인 연료량은 정확한 측정이 필요하다. 본 논문에서는 정전용량형 연료센서, DAQ 보드, Labview 소프트웨어로 구현된 연료량측정시스템을 다루었다. 연료량에 따라 변화하는 파라미터를 확인하기 위해 Pspice를 이용하여 구현된 시스템의 주회로가 시뮬레이션 되었다. 시뮬레이션을 통해 연료량에 따라 변화하는 파라미터인 Vrms를 찾아내었다. 연료 센서의 출력인 Vrms는 구현된 연료량측정시스템의 DAQ 보드를 통해 Labview 소프트웨어로 전송되고, 이 소프트웨어를 사용하여 연료량이 계산된다. 그 결과, 필터가 적용되지 않은 연료량측정시스템보다 정확도가 향상되었다.

  • For the research, we developed the hardware and software of the measurement system for on-line test and evaluation. The software controls the hardware of the measurement data and acts as a interface between users and the system hardware. In this paper, we studied performances of the auxiliary block for high-speed railway vehicle. In order to performance these works, the conversion system was developed. Using this system, we obtained the important results, such as voltage values for the battery charger and auxiliary block. Also, we diagnosed the faults and performed the evaluation for auxiliary block using the measurement system and data.

  • The method of Electromagnetic Wave Immunity Test is continuously endeavored by IEC and CISPR as international unification, but it has not been established yet. The main reason is why it is difficult to obtain the measurement method and normalization of threshold to find out the complicated parameters for Electromagnetic Wave immunity Test. So far, thus, the Electromagnetic Wave Immunity Test is carried out case by case as the electromagnetic environment, which is set up Electromagnetic Wave Immunity Test. This study has developed an algorithm and measurement software suitable for IEC1000-4 Regulations, where a ready-made Amplifier, and Signal Generator have been used and an interconnecting Interface Board has been constructed for connecting with the other apparatuses, i.e., RF Switch, Power Meter, Field Sensor, Pre-Amp., etc. Therefore, we have achieved the aim to develop an automated software using OOP method and the measurement system.

3D 기반의 기상측정 운영시스템 개발 (The Development of 3D based On-Machine Measurement Operating System)

  • This paper proposed efficient manufacturing system using the OMM (on-machine measurement) system. The OMM system is software based 3D modeler for inspection on machine and it is interfaced tool machine with RS232C. The software is composed of two inspection modules that one is touch probe operating module and the other is laser displacement sensor operating module. The module for touch probe has need of inspection feature that extracted it from CAD data. Touch probe moves to workpiece by three operating modes as follows: manual, general and automatic mode. The operating module of laser displacement sensor is used inspection for profile and very small hole. An Advantage of this inspection method is to be able to execute on-line inspection during machining or after it. The efficiency of proposed system which can predict and definite the machining errors of each process is verified, so the developed system is applied to inspect the mold-base(cavity, core).
