The study investigates the media distinctiveness between twitter and other social media and describes how product information interpretation and responsiveness by internet users can be affected by the distinctive characteristics of twitter and blog media. The characteristics include relationship formation patterns among users, channel diversity, immediateness of information communication, information flow within media, media credibility, and management cost. Specifically, we statistically tested whether these characteristics are meaningfully differentiated by users. Results also showed that users perceived product information processing level and product evaluation direction differently based on these media characteristics. The current findings can serve as a pioneering work to provide a theoretical framework for examining social media characteristics and their impacts on consumer perception. In addition, this study practically suggests that marketers and network managers need to use differentiated communication strategies for twitters as a marketing strategic option.

As corporate competency, human capital and related capital of intellectual capital theory were utilized, and the global network level of social network theory was also utilized. As an additional analysis, corporate characteristics factors were used. Results: First, the level of global mindset of human capital acted as a positive factor in management performance, and the level of professional manpower did not achieve significant results. Second, related capital acted as a positive factor in corporate performance. Third, from the perspective of social network theory, the global network level of companies acted as a positive factor in management performance. Finally, the relationship between corporate characteristics and management performance was marginally significant. Conclusions: In order to improve the business performance of a company in a market shock such as the COVID-19 pandemic, it is required to strengthen the level of network construction with customers and increase the level of intellectual capital that a company has.
Purpose: In this study, we would like to confirm that the transfer of young workers may be a means of enhancing their internal satisfaction, not to get a better job, by setting work-related characteristics that are highly relevant to job-related factors. Research design, data, and methodology: In this study, preparation for turnover was set as dependent variables to identify factors related to the turnover of young people, and the type of business, employment type, debt status, job satisfaction, job difficulty compared to education level, job difficulty, job degree, job major agreement, debt status, and other demographic social characteristics were selected as independent variables. Results: The characteristics related to personal criteria in job-seeking process were significant in the form of business, employment type, job satisfaction, work difficulty compared to the level of education, work difficulty compared to the level of technology, job major matching, and debt status. Conclusions: This study confirmed that young people's turnover may not simply be a means to get a better job, but to increase satisfaction in the internal aspects of their jobs, and that for young people, a job is an important development process that represents their identity and needs to be approached from a life-cycle perspective.

Purpose - In this study, among the various stresses experienced by single-family senior citizens, we will focus on economic and financial stress and help to comprehend it generally, examine the differences in economic and financial stress and coping behaviors caused by the background variables in the aged group, and verify the variables that affect economic and financial stress, response behavior, and life satisfaction. Research design, data, and methodology - First of all, frequency analysis and technical statistics were conducted to identify the general characteristics of the elderly (characteristics of demographic sociology, social relationships) and the satisfaction level of life. Secondly, Hierarchical Multiple Regression Analysis was conducted to analyse influential factors on life satisfaction. Results - looking at the demographic characteristics of the elderly showed that in case the spouse exists, the level of satisfaction in life was shown to be higher. Next, looking at the characteristics of economic stress showed that the lower the economic stress was, the higher the satisfaction level of life was shown. Conclusions - Since stress has been identified as the most influential variable in life satisfaction through this study, we believe that economic and financial stress should be studied together as a parameter to find out which factors influence life satisfaction, or studies to reduce stresses for experts and senior party members altogether is also needed.

Chronic disease such as rheumatoid arthritis is believed to induce a significant psychosocial stressors. The concept of illness intrusiveness-illness induced life style disruptions-was hypothesized to affect psychosocial status. And demographic, socioeconomic, disease and social characteristics were hypotehsized to affect illness intrusiveness. Hierarchial multiple regression analyses were used. As a result, among the demographic factors gender was identified as contributor to directly increase the psychosocial stress and education level was identified to affect the psychosocial stress through illness intrusiveness. Among socioeconomic factors, the burden about the cost of medical treatment was found to indirectly affect the psychosocial stress through the illness intrusiveness. Also income and job were found to affect directly the psychosocial status. Among the disease characteristics, only the pain level was identified to increase the psychosocial stress through the illness intrusiveness. Among the social characteristics, perceived social support is identified to increase the psychosocial stress through the illness intrusiveness. Based upon these results, some suggestions were made for minimizing illness intrusiveness in rheumatoid arthritis and future research.

This study aims to investigate the usage patterns of users in Social Network Services (SNS) where is an upsurge. Specifically, the paper considers the reason why young people more and more prefer online (or mobile) SNS activities rather than offline face-to-face social relationship. Furthermore, the drivers which affect SNS usages are considered from users' personal characteristics and social influences. User's personal characteristics include their personalities (extraversion and introversion), narcissism, and life satisfaction. Social influences involve subjective norm, visibility, and image. Affected by personal and social factors in SNS, users intend to show positive self-presentation, which refers to a behavior to selectively expose his/her goodness to others. As one of the most influential drivers affecting SNS usage, the positive self-representation has an effect on the level of SNS usage. Thus, this paper suggests the hypothesized research model focusing on positive self-representation in the relationship among personal characteristics, social influence, and user's behavior in SNS. Empirical data analysis with 100 questionnaires suggests that all hypotheses were adopted except for the effect of visibility among social influence factors on positive self-representation.
Objectives: This study examines the relationship between social capital and suicidal impulse for the Metropolitan Seoul residents, paying particular attention on individual and area level risk factors using multilevel analysis techniques. Methods: Data are obtained from the 2005 Seoul Health Indicators Survey and the Seoul Survey. At the individual level, we analyze demographic variables including sex, age, marital status, educational attainments, family income, field of economic activities, having close friends or relatives, and having participating groups or organization. To measure the area level social capital, happiness index, attitude toward minority, the percent of volunteer activity, the percent of having close friends or relatives, and the percent of participating groups or organization are considered. A multilevel logistic regression analysis is conducted utilizing the SAS 9.1. Result: Results show that non-aged, female, not currently married, unemployed individuals tend to have relatively high motivation of suicide. Controlling for individual level covariates, the relationship between social capital and suicidal impulse is neither significant nor substantial. Further, the consideration of area social capital does not explain the variances in suicidal impulse across 25 Kus. Conclusion: Suicidal impulse among Seoul residents is mainly attributable to the composition of individual characteristics but little to the contextual social capital.
Purpose SNS (Social Network Service) is one of new promising marketing tools which allow marketer to do two-way communication and social interaction. Three characteristics of SNS marketing including informativeness, interactivity, and playfulness are distinguished from traditional marketing. The purpose of this study is to examine the relationships between three characteristics of SNS marketing, brand image, and purchase intention. Design/methodology/approach The present study proposed a research model integrating SNS marketing characteristics, brand image, and purchase intention represented by structural equation modelling and four hypotheses. A total of 20 questionnaire items for five variables were developed and measured by using five point Likert scale. 199 valid data were collected and used to test four hypotheses using SmartPLS. Findings Three hypotheses that the characteristics of SNS marketing such as informativeness, interactivity, and playfulness have a positive influence on brand image were supported at the significance level of 0.05 and 0.001 respectively. The hypothesis regarding the relationship between brand image and purchase intention was also supported at the significance level of 0.001. Brand image plays a significant mediating role in the relationship between SNS marketing and purchase intention. In particular, the result of research that playfulness of SNS marketing affects brand image significantly suggests a new future research theme regarding spiritual marketing. Implications for academics and practitioners were suggested.
