  • The research for the regional identity including relationships with professional sport team was caused by local autonomy system and localism. This study was to verify structural relationships among regional identity, team identification and re-attend intention of professional soccer spectators. Data were collected from spectators of professional soccer game in 'D' metropolitan city. Using purposive sampling method, a total of 397 samples were used for analysis. The statistical techniques for data analysis were descriptive analysis, frequency analysis, reliability analysis, correlation analysis, confirmatory factor analysis, and structural equation modeling by SPSS 15.0 and AMOS 7 programs. The results of this study were that regional identity have a positive effects on team identification. Also, team identification have a positive effects on re-attend intention. Theoretical and practical implications and future research directions were provided.

  • The performance of the robot is very limited in the conventional model-based control methods when the environments around a robot are not structured or are varying dynamically. The reason for that is the methods are based on the model of the environments which is very difficult to match with the real environments and on a path planning which is complex and time-consuming. On the other hand, the behavior-based control methods are not dependant on the model of the environments nor a complex planning. In those methods, a specific behavior is coupled with a specific sensor output, so the response of a robot is quite reactive and timely in dynamic and unstructured environments. In this thesis, we propose a situation dependant behavior based control architecture, in which a robot may behave differently to the same sensor output depending on various situations. We also show some experimental results to show the feasibility of the proposed control architecture.

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the influences of immune function and respiratory system on aerobic exercise of 75 %HRmax intensity in an exposed acute hypobaric hypoxic environment. The subjects were 20 male college students, 10 of which were soccer players (19.6${\pm}$0.8 yr, BMI 22.3${\pm}$1.0, V02max 56.5${\pm}$4.8 mljkgjmin) and 10 general students (22.2${\pm}$2.3 yr, BMI 22.7${\pm}$2.1, $VO_{2max}$ 50.5${\pm}$6.6 ml/kg/min). Items of measurement after exercise on level and high altitude were $O_{2}$, $CO_{2}$, ventilation (VE), respiratory frequency, respiratory quotient, RBC, MCV, MCH, MCHC, Hb, Hct, reticulocyte, WBC, neutrophil, lymphocyte, monocyte, basophil, and immunoglobulin (IgA, IgD, IgG, IgM). As the result of the verifying hypothesis, these results may suggest three new findings: first, to produce hypoxic ventilatory depression not only at level land but also at 3,000 m high altitude during 30 minute aerobics exercise of 75 %HRmax intensity, second to be more excellent for soccer players in adaptation and sensibility on response of respiratory system at high altitude, and third, to change each other by regular exercise habits or altitude in the monocyte.

  • In this paper, a video broadcasting system between a home-server-type device and a mobile device is proposed. The home-server-type device can automatically extract semantic information from video contents, such as news, a soccer match, and a baseball game. The indexing results are utilized to convert the original video contents to a digested or arranged format. From the mobile device, a user can make recording requests to the home-server-type devices and can then watch and navigate recorded video contents in a digested form. The novelty of this study is the actual implementation of the proposed system by combining the actual IT environment that is available with indexing algorithms. The implementation of the system is demonstrated along with experimental results of the automatic video indexing algorithms. The overall performance of the developed system is compared with existing state-of-the-art personal video recording products.

  • One of the most important design factor for the image tracker is the speed of the data processing which allows real-time operation of the system and provides reasonably accurate performance at the same time. Use of powerful DSP alone does not guarantee to meet such requirement. In this paper, a simple efficient algorithm for real-time multi-target image tracking is suggested. The suggested method is based on a recursive centroiding technique and color table look-up. This method has been successfully implemented in a image processing system for Micro-Robot Soccer Tournament(MIROSOT). This tracker can track positions of a ball, 3 enemies, and 3 agents at the same time. The experimental results show that the processing time for each frame of image is less than 7ms, which is well within the 60Hz sampling interval for real-time operation.

  • In this paper, we present a robust global registration algorithm for multi-frame image mosaics. When we perform a pair-wise registration recovering a projective transformation between two consecutive frames, severe mis-registration among multiple frames, which are not consecutive, can be detected. It is because the concatenation of those pair-wise transformations leads to global alignment errors. To overcome those mis-registrations, we propose a new algorithm using multiple frames for constructing image mosaics. We use a graph to represent the temporal and spatial connectivity and show that global registration can be obtained through the search for an optimal path in the constructed graph. The definition of an adequate objective function characterizing the global registration provides a direct manipulation of the graph. In the presence of moving objects, especially large ones compared with low texture backgrounds, by using the likelihood ratio as the objective function, we can deal with some of the most challenging videos like basketball or soccer Moreover, the algorithm can be parallelized so it can be more efficiently implemented. Finally, we give some experimental results from real videos.

  • In country, for 2002 World-cup the peak is to construct soccer playground. the stabilizing method by additives is mainly applied of permanent improvement for bearing capacity of structure foundation and for strength, durability and transformation of road pavement layer except for construction machine's trafficability and bearing capacity. This study is on soft ground improvement of $\bigcirc$$\bigcirc$ world-cup stadium field. construction field constitutes of very various layers and after construction the lawn grass should be planted on the surface of the earth and in addition, chemical effects should be limited from improved ground layer. Mixing soft clay in field with three domestic representative additives, it evaluated the unconfined compression strength. In the results, after curing during 28 days the objective strength has been obtained on about 5% combination ratio.

  • The purpose of this study was to examine middle school physical education teachers' perceptions of the School Sports Club, Questionnaires were sent to the all 547 middle school physical education teachers in the Busan Metropolitan City, 326 (59.6%) were returned and 322 (58.9%) were analyzed. The results of the study were as follows: Firstly, there were school sports clubs of 24 kinds of sports at middle schools, but overly concentrated in soccer, basketball and badminton. Secondly, physical education teachers responded positively to the importance of school sports club. Thirdly, They thought that school sports club activities had an effect on both the physical and socio-cultural improvement of students. Fourthly, among tough barriers were time restraint, school parents' unfriendly sentiments toward the activities, and financial difficulties. Fifthly, to have better school sports clubs, reducing the barriers is pivotal.

  • The paper describes Quasi-simultaneous recognition of plural targets and motion control of robot based on the recognition. The method searches for targets by model-based matching method using the hybrid GA, and the motion of the robot is generated based on the targets' positions on the image. The method is applied to a soccer robot, and targets are a ball, a goal, and an enemy in the experiment. The Experimental results show robustness and reliability of the proposed method.

  • Purpose: This study focuses on influence of ankle stabilization training on balance ability and lower limb muscle activation of soccer player with functional ankle instability. Methods: Subjects were grouped into ankle stabilization training group using biofeedback comprised of 15 subjects and general exercise group of 15. The training was conducted for 30 minutes, 3 times a week for 8 weeks in total. All 30 football players conducted plyometric training for 30 minutes before main training. To evaluate balance ability, biorescure was used to measure whole path length and surface area and surface electromyography (EMG) system was used to measure tibialis anterior, tibialis posterior, and soleus to evaluate lower limb muscle activation. Results: The experiment group showed significant difference to the comparison group in regard of whole path length and surface area which represents balancing capability and muscle activation of tibialis anterior, tibialis posterior, and soleus. Conclusion: Therefore, ankle stabilization training using biofeedback is more effective in enhancing balance ability and lower limb muscle activation than general exercise.
