R22 대체냉매의 수평원관내 흐름비등 열전달 특성 (Flow Boiling Heat Transfer Characteristics of R22 Alternative Refrigerants in a Horizontal Smooth Tube)

  • Flow boiling heat transfer coefficients (HTCs) of R22, R134a, R407C, and R410A were measured for a horizontal plain tube. The test section was made of a copper tube of 8.8mm inner diameter and 1000mm length respectively. The refrigerant was heated by passing hot water through an annulus surrounding the test section. All tests were performed at a fixed refrigerant saturation temperature of $5^{\circ}C$ with mass fluxes of 100~300 kg/$m^2$,/TEX>s. HTCs were measured by two methods: the direct wall temperature measurement method and the indirect Wilson plot method. Experimental results showed that the Wilson plot method was affected greatly by the external test conditions and yielded inconsistent results. For the mass flux of 100kg/$m^2$,/TEX>s, HTCs were almost constant regardless of the quality for a given refrigerant HTCs of R134a and R407C were similar to those of R22 while those of R410A were 60% higher than those of R22. For the mass fluxes of 200 and 300kg/$m^2$,/TEX>s, HTCs of R407C were almost the same as those of R22, while HTCs of R134a and R410A were 12-13% and 20~23% higher than those of R22 respectively. For pure refrigerant, Shah\`s correlation yielded a good agreement with the measured data both qualitatively and quantitatively.

  • The breakup length of a liquid jet with flowrate, formed by releasing through a nozzle of circular cross-section into the atmosphere, was experimented and studied for 3 liquid nozzles of varying diameters. The experimental result was analyzed using the existing theoretical equation for predicting the breakup length. It was found that the breakup length of liquid jet depends on the velocity, and the breakup length increases with increasing of the liquid nozzle diameter. Also, the variation range of the breakup length for the same flowrate of liquid increased rapidly as velocity was increased for laminar flow, but in the turbulent flow region, it leveled off in the range of approximately 0.55-0.7 of the mean breakup length. Furthermore, when the longest smooth liquid jet was applied to the co-axial flow air blast atomizer, the effect of air flow on the flow pattern and breakup length was studied for 6 glass nozzles of different lengths and diameters. It was found that depending on the diameter of the mixing tube and liquid jet, it was possible to observe a wide range of flow patterns, such as liquid jet through flow, partial annular flow and annular flow. The liquid jet breakup length was more sensitive to the change in the length rather than the diameter of the mixing tube. As the length of the mixing tube shortens, the breakup length also shortens rapidly.

  • 본 연구에서는 일정한 조도의 거친 평판이 갑자기 매끈한 평판으로 변할 때 (Fig.1 참고) 평판 위에서 발달하는 난류경계층에 관하여 연구하였다. 이때 하류에 서 난류 경계층은 위에서 설명했듯이 완전히 발달한 난류 경계층과는 상당히 다르다. 특히 대부분의 난류 모델은 완전히 발달된 평형상태의 경계층에서의 실험자료를 이용 하여 개발되었기 때문에 이러한 과도 구역에서 합리적으로 적용되기가 어렵다. 과도 구역에서 평균속도와 난류 특성치를 체계적으로 계측하기 위해서는 전단응력을 직접 계측하는 것이 중요하다. 그러나 아직 전단응력을 직접 계측한 연구는 없는 실정이 다. 본 논문에서는 최근에 제안된 CPM(computational preston tube method)를 이용 하여 과도지역에서 전단응력을 직접 측정하여 난류 경계층의 구조를 연구하였다.

  • 본 연구에서는 경사진 헬리컬 코일형 동관내 이산화탄소의 증발 열전달 계수와 압력강하를 실험적으로 조사하였다. 냉매 순환루프의 주요구성품은 수액기, 변속펌프, 질량유량계, 예열기, 경사진 헬리컬 코일형 가스냉각기(시험부)로 구성된다. 시험부는 내경 4.55 mm의 평활 동관으로 이루어져 있다. 냉매질량 유속은 $200kg/m^2s$에서 $600kg/m^2s$까지 변화시켰고, 가스냉각기의 입구압력은 7.5 MPa에서 10.0 MPa까지이다. 경사진 헬리컬 코일관내 이산화탄소의 열전달 계수는 질량유속과 냉각압력의 증가와 함께 따라 증가하였다. 이산화탄소의 압력강하는 헬리컬 코일관내 단상 상관식인 Ito식과 좋은 일치를 보였고, 이산화탄소의 국소 열전달 계수는 Pilta 등이 제안한 상관식과 좋은 일치를 보였다. 하지만, 유사임계 온도 영역부근에서는 실험데이터가 더 높게 나타났다.

초임계 영역내 $CO_2$ 냉각 열전달과 압력강하 분석 (Analysis of Heat Transfer and Pressure Drop During Gas Cooling Process of Carbon Dioxide in Transcritical Region)

  • The heat transfer coefficient and pressure drop of $CO_2$(R-744) during gas cooling Process of carbon dioxide in a horizontal tube were investigated experimentally and theoretically. The experiments were conducted without oil in the refrigerant loop. The main components of the refrigerant loop consist of a receiver. a variable-speed pump. a mass flowmeter, an evaporator. and a gas cooler(test section). The main components of the water loop consist of a variable-speed Pump. an constant temperature bath. and a flowmeter. The gas cooler is a counterflow heat exchanger with refrigerant flowing in the inner tube and water flowing in the annulus The test section consists of smooth, horizontal stainless steel tube of 9.53 mm outer diameter and 7.75 mm inner diameter. The length of test section is 6 m. The refrigerant mass fluxes were 200 ~ 300 kg/($m^2{\cdot}s$) and the inlet pressure of the gas cooler varied from 7.5 MPa to 8.5 MPa. The main results were summarized as follows : The predicted correlation can evaluated the R-744 exit temperature from the gas cooler within ${\pm}10%$ for most of the experimental data, given only the inlet conditions. The predicted gas cooley capacity using log mean temperature difference showed relatively food agreement with gas cooler capacity within ${\pm}5%$. The pressure drop predicted by Blasius estimated the pressure drop on the $CO_2$ side within ${\pm}4.3%$. The predicted heat transfer coefficients using Gnielinski's correlation evaluated the heat transfer coefficients on the $CO_2$ side well within the range of experimental error. The predicted heat transfer coefficients using Gao and Honda's correlation estimated the heat transfer coefficients on the coolant side well within ${\pm}10\;%$. Therefore. The predicted equation's usefulness is demonstrated by analyzing data obtained in experiments.

외부유로 내벽에 설치된 핀 형상에 따른 이중관 열교환기의 열전달 및 유동에 대한 수치해석적 연구 (A Numerical Study on Heat Transfer and Flow Characteristics of a Finned Downhole Coaxial Heat Exchanger)

  • 본 연구에서는 이중관 지중열교환기의 내부에 삽입되는 유로의 외벽에 설치된 핀 형상에 따른 유동 및 열전달 특성의 변화를 수치해석적으로 분석하였다. 해석에는 상용 CFD 소프트웨어인 Ansys Fluent를 이용하였으며, SST $k-{\omega}$ 난류 모델을 적용하였다. 지중열교환기의 성능을 높일 수 있는 핀의 형상을 찾기 위하여 핀의 각도($15^{\circ}$, $30^{\circ}$, $45^{\circ}$, $60^{\circ}$), 높이비(0.1, 0.3, 0.5), 그리고 핀 간의 간격비(1, 3, 5)를 변화시키며 해석을 수행하였다. 그 결과 핀의 각도와 높이가 증가하면서 대부분의 핀 형상에서 외각유로의 외벽과 내벽에서 Nusselt 수가 증가하는 경향이 나타났다. 하지만 핀 각도 $15^{\circ}$, 높이 비 0.3 이하의 형상에서 핀이 설치되지 않은 경우보다 외벽의 열전달계수는 증가하며 내벽의 열전달 계수가 감소하는 결과를 관찰하였다. 또한 핀 간의 간격이 감소할 경우 외벽의 열전달계수는 큰 변화가 없으나 내벽의 열전달계수는 감소하는 경향이 나타났다.

  • As a result of examining the specimens collected from various freshwater bodies since 1995, four eutardigrades are added to Korean fauna: lsohypsibius brevitubulatus n. sp., I. baldii (Ramazzotti), I. marcellinoi (Binda and Pilato), and Diphascon (Diphascon) higginsi Binda. I. brevitubulatus n. sp. differs from its congeners by having a combination of the following characteristics: smooth cuticle, rather big body size, short and broad buccal tube, presence of lunules, and pharynx bearing 3 rod-like macroplacoids without microplacoid. All the species are illustrated and briefly commented on their habitats with the associated fauna.

와이어코일 삽입법을 이용한 열전달 촉진기술 성능평가 (Evaluation of Heat Transfer performance of Wire-coil Inserted Tube)

  • An experiment was carried out to evaluate the thermal performance of the wire-coil inserts method. Tested were the smooth tubes with the wire-nil inserts of various pitch and helix angle combinations. Test fluids were the 50%-solution of the ethylene glycol and the Hue water. Heat transfer coefficient and friction factors were deduced from the measured values of temperatures, flowrates and pressure drops. A unified dimensionless correlation for the heat transfer coefficients was developed as a function of the pitch to diameter ratio, the Reynolds number and the Prandtl number. An exergy analysis was performed to evaluate an optimal operating condition with the wire-coil inserts.

터널발파에서 일반발파와 AIR-TUBES발파의 비교연구 (A Study on the Comparison of Conventional Blasting vs Air-Tubes Blasting in the Tunnel)

  • 발파공법이 소개된 이후로 계속해서 많은 우수한 발파이론이 발표되어 왔다. 그러한 이론들의 저변에 있는 궁극적인 목표는 효율의 증가와 경제성이다. 이에 본 연구는 Air-Tubes 발파공법을 소개하고 터널에서 일반발파와 비교하여 그 발파효율을 검토해 보았다 연구의 배경이 되는 곳은 산청군 시천면 내대리와 하동관 묵계리를 연결하는 2차선 국도 터널 공사 현장이며 전체 총연장은 2Km이다. 진동측정방법은 하나의 발파진동을 4개의 측정기로 측정하여 데이터분석에 사용하였다. 일반발파와 Air-Tubes의 진동측정을 4개소에서 각각 6회씩 실시하여 총 24개씩의 진동측정 데이타를 얻었고 회귀분석을 실시하여 95% 신뢰도의 발파진동 추정식을 얻었다. 시험발파 및 진동측정에 이어 매 발파마다 광파측량을 실시하여 진행장을 구하였으며 사용한 장약량은 Air-Tubes 발파시 25% 정도 적게 사용하였고 발파진동이 23% 감소하였다. 발파당 굴진장 및 Smooth blasting 발파시의 벽면의 상태는 동일하고 파쇄석의 크기는 Air-Tubes 발파시 더 작게 나타난다.

세관 내 R-22 의 증발 전열 특성에 관한 연구 (Evaporating heat transfer characteristics of R-22 in small diameter tubes)

  • Evaporating heat transfer characteristics of R-22 were measured inside smooth horizontal copper tubes with inner diameters of 3.36 mm and 5.35 mm respectively. The experiments were conducted in the closed loop which was driven by a magnetic gear pump. Experiments were performed for the following range of variables ; mass velocity of refrigerants (200 to 400 $kg/m^2$ .s) saturation temperature ($0^{\circ}C, \; 5^{\circC$}) and quality (0 to 1.0) The main results obtained are as follows : Evaporating heat transfer coefficients in the small diameter tubes (ID<7 mm) were observed to be strongly affected by a variety of diameters and to differ from those in the large diameter tubes. The heat transfer coefficients of the small diameter tubes are higher than those of the large diameter tubes. Comparing the heat transfer coefficients between experimental results and some well-known previous predictions (Shah's correlation Gungor-Winterton's and Kandlikar's correlation) it was very difficult to apply those to small diameter tubes.
