  • In this paper, a program for real time simulation of a vehicle is developed. The program uses relative coordinates and BEF(Backward Difference Formula) numerical integration method. Numerical tests showed that the proposed implicit method is more stable in carring out the numerical integration for vehicl dynamics than the explicit method. Hardware requirements for real time simulation are suggested. Algorithms of parallel processing is developed with DSP (digital signal processor).

  • Some integration methods for the linear subsystems are examined and which algorithm is optimal for real-time simulation is considered. First, a number of typical integration methods for a linear time-invariant system are given. Then, the dynamic errors are shown both from the point of view of characteristic root errors and transfer function errors. After that we compute the dynamic errors of integration and choose the appropriate method for each system.

The course executed the 4 individual interventions, 1 simulation therapy, 1 observation, 4 free play sessions that consisted of 6 children with sensory integrative dysfunction and 6 therapists who manage them and 3 supervisors and 2 managers. Results : Their parents reported the satisfaction degree of the treatment course service was above 84%. Therapists also had a chance to understand the broader sensory integrative interventions through the supervision and various educational programs. Conclusions : Intensive treatment course can provide parents and therapists with satisfaction of the programs. Therapists can especially experience reeducation individually through supervision and lectures.

  • This paper comparatively analyze to integration case to have a influence detection range estimation about radar cross section in radar system. This paper estimate detection range used to probability of detection in radar equation that used to swerling case 1 in case of radar cross section is small and used to swerling case 3 in case of radar cross section is large. Through simulation, coherent integration and non-coherent integration about swerling case difference were comparatively analyzed. Through simulation, non-coherent integration case is outstanding detection range and we known that coherent integration don't suitable for detection range estimation.

  • New product development has been a key element fur organizational evolution. The bulk of research about new product strategy has focused solely on new product development function itself. This paper investigates cross-functional elements in new product development. More specifically, we suggest that there must exist a fit between new product strategy and value chain strategy. It means that, in order to support new product development activity, there must exist a relevant value chain strategy. We consider three types of integration - internal integration, customer integration, and supplier integration - as strategic elements of value chain strategy. For the case of new product strategy, we consider market newness and product technology unfamiliarity as strategic elements. We also consider two types of learning characteristic, i.e., \\\"fast-adaptive learning\\\" and \\\"slow-adaptive leaning\\\" as control factor. Learning characteristic represents firms organizational capability related with organizational learning. For example, fur fast-adaptive learning case, the effect of integration appears early in time. System dynamics simulation is employed to verify our research framework. The results exhibit that there must exist cross-functional relationships between value chain strategy and new product strategy in order to shorten total development time.al development time.

  • Maintaining agility and responsiveness m designing and manufacturing activities are the key issues for manufacturing companies to cope with global competition. Distributed design and control systems are regarded as an efficient solution for agility and responsiveness. However, distributed nature of a manufacturing system complicates production activities such as design, simulation, scheduling, and execution control. Especially, existing simulation systems have limited external integration capabilities, which make it difficult to implement complex control mechanisms for the distributed manufacturing systems. Moreover, integration and coupling of heterogeneous components and models are commonly required for the simulation of complex distributed systems. In this paper, a collaborative and adaptive simulation architecture is proposed as an open framework for simulation and analysis of the distributed manufacturing enterprises. By incorporating agents with their distributed characteristics of autonomy, intelligence, and goal-driven behavior, the proposed agent-based simulation architecture can be easily adapted to support the agile and distributed manufacturing systems. The architecture supports the coordination and cooperation relations, and provides a communication middleware among the participants in simulation.

  • The objective of the In-h(High Level Architecture) have recommended by DoD(Department of Defense) is to facilitate interoperability among simulations and to promote reuse of their components. There are many legacy simulation softwares developed before the HLA becomes simulation standard. The integration of legacy simulations into federations using the HLA is an important research topic in M&S(Modeling and Simulation) area. Legacy simulation softwares of the mission critical industry such as nuclear and aerospace are generally use Fortran language. However, the reuse of those is not easy because the HLA is not support Fortran language. This paper suggests a integration method which minimizes the modification of legacy simulation software and migrates the legacy simulation software to HLA federation. Each federate participating in federation have the separated executables that communicate via a shared memory created at run-time. Two types of shared memory blocks are used for publication and subscription. Declaration block for global variables used in legacy simulation software is separated for publication and subscription and then mapped as classes of objects and interactions for the HLA FOM design. To validate the suggested method, we approached the HLA integration of legacy nuclear simulation code being used in plant design and to observe the integration results, we used the FMT(Federation Management Tool). The diagnostic information which the FTM displays showed that our method can be successfully and effectively used for a HLA federation.

  • As the application domains of rule-based systems become larger and more complicated, the integration of rule-based systems within the database systems has become the topic of many research works. This paper suggests a simulation modeling using expert system and database. The integration methods employed in this research are as follows. First, we defined new states and state transition functions to interrelate simulation model and expert system. Second, we designed and implemented FCL(Fact Class Library) as a interface of expert system and database. FCL has facilities of filtering data from database, and assigning a meaning to the filtered data. Also, FCL detects the violation of the integrity rules in database, as the result of inference is reflected. Some implementation problems are pointed out and the methods to solve these problems are discussed in this paper, We developed a simulation model of the grating production line and executed it to validate the functions of the proposed method.

  • Finite elements based on isoparametric formulation are known to suffer spurious stiffness properties and corresponding stress oscillations, even when care is taken to ensure that completeness and continuity requirements are enforced. This occurs frequently when the physics of the problem requires multiple strain components to be defined. This kind of error, commonly known as locking, can be circumvented by using reduced integration techniques to evaluate the element stiffness matrices instead of the full integration that is mathematically prescribed. However, the reduced integration technique itself can have a further drawback - rank deficiency, which physically implies that spurious energy modes (e.g., hourglass modes) are introduced because of reduced integration. Such instability in an existing stiffness matrix is generally detected by means of an eigenvalue test. In this paper we show that a knowledge of the dimension of the solution space spanned by the column vectors of the strain-displacement matrix can be used to identify the instabilities arising in an element due to reduced/selective integration techniques a priori, without having to complete the element stiffness matrix formulation and then test for zero eigenvalues.
