한국과 서독간의 교통안전 비교 (Methoden Zur Beschreibung dar Unfallgeschehens des - Versuch eines Vergleichs Zwischen der Bundesrepublik Deutschland und der Republik Korea -)

  • The work analyzes the existing situation and defines special problems concerning traffic accidents in the two countries. The report is divided into three parts: 1) Using the global approach of SMEED, the data were evaluated using multiple regression analysis, and homogeneous groups of countries were defined by cluster analysis. In the global approach, the linear model is better than SMEED's non-linear model in explaining the number of fatalities. Among the different groups of countries, the linear approach was found to be better suited for industrialized countries and the non-linear approach better for the developing countries. The comparison of traffic fatality data for the Federal Republic of Germany and the Republic of Korea showed different regression equations during the same time period. 2) The BOX/JENKINS time series analysis on a monthly basis points out clearly similar seasonal patterns for the two countries over the years studied. The decrease in traffic accidents following the intensification of the safety belt requirement was proved in the ARIMA model. It amounts to 7 to 8 percent fewer personal injury accidents and fatal accidents. The identified increase in safety in the Federal Republic of Germany since the 1970s is mainly due to the reduction of accident severity in residential areas. 3) Speeds and headways on motorways in th3e two countries were also compared. The measurements point out that German road users drive faster, take more risks, and accept shorter time gaps than Korean road users. However, the accident statistics show accident rates for Korea that are several times higher than those in the Federal Republic of Germany.

  • 급격한 도시화와 기술의 발전으로 자동차 보급 대수가 급증하면서 교통사고가 빈번하게 발생하고, 이로 인해 인적 피해와 경제적 손실이 증가하고 있다. 따라서 교통사고의 예방과 사고로 인한 피해를 최소화하기 위해 교통사고의 위험성을 예측 할 수 있는 기술이 필요하다. 교통사고는 교통 혼잡도, 교통 환경, 도로 상태를 포함한 다양한 요인들로 인해 발생한다. 이러한 요인들을 기반으로 교통사고는 시공간적인 특성을 가지게 된다. 본 논문은 교통사고 데이터를 분석하여 교통사고의 주요 특성들을 파악하고, 이를 기반으로 시계열 형식의 데이터로 재구성하였다. 그리고 시공간적인 특성을 우수하게 파악할 수 있는 LSTM-MLP 기반 모델을 구축하여 교통사고 예측에 활용하였다. 실험을 통해 제안한 모델은 기존의 교통사고 위험도 예측 모델 보다 더 합리적이고 정확한 예측함을 입증하였다. 본 논문에서 제안하는 교통사고 위험도 예측 모델은 내비게이션 등의 도로 상황과 환경을 실시간으로 파악할 수 있는 시스템에 적용할 수 있다. 이를 통해 도로 사용자들의 안전성을 향상시키고 교통사고로 인한 사회적 비용을 최소화하는 데 기여할 것으로 기대된다.

Hybrid Approach for Treatment of Multiple Traumatic Injuries of the Heart, Aorta, and Abdominal Organs

  • A 55-year-old man was admitted to the trauma center after a car accident. Cardiac tamponade, traumatic aortic injury, and hemoperitoneum were diagnosed by ultrasonography. The trauma surgeon, cardiac surgeon, and interventional radiologist discussed the prioritization of interventions. Multi-detector computed tomography was carried out first to determine the severity and extent of the injuries, followed by exploratory sternotomy to repair a left auricle rupture. A damage control laparotomy was then performed to control mesenteric bleeding. Lastly, a descending thoracic aorta injury was treated by endovascular stenting. These procedures were performed in the hybrid-angio room. The patient was discharged on postoperative day 135, without complications.

  • The most commonplace of collisions that directly affect people is that of vehicles. Safety studies have noted a correlation between vehicle occupant injury severity and velocity changes. Methods for estimating collision velocity changes are discussed here. This topic is part of what is referred to as accident reconstruction. Only planar collisions are considered. When a vehicle collides with another, impact dynamics with friction should be considered. This paper presents a general analysis methodology of impact. must dynamics incorporating friction. The presence of friction between sliding contacts during the impact makes the problem difficult since the events such as reverse sliding or sticking, which may occur at different times throughout the impact, must be determined. This paper uses the results of RICSAC experiments for verifying the developed methodology. The analysis and experimental results agree well.

  • This study focuses on the classification of fire equipments for certification based on the risk evaluation. In general, known statistics on fire equipment-related accidents needs to be used for risk evaluation. When statistics is not available, however, expected frequency and severity of accident for individual equipment can be taken into account in evaluating the related risks. Based on the level of inherent risks, each equipment is then classified into three categories for certification. For equipments that risk evaluation is not possible, characteristics of those products such as reliability are considered for classification. Once classified, each equipment is assigned an appropriate certification module.

  • 화해를 입은 구조물의 안전성 확보에는 초기대응이 매우 중요기 때문에 신속한 의사결정이 필요하다. 본 논문에서는 화해를 입은 구조물의 이형철근과 콘크리트 간 잔존부착강도를 평가할 수 있는 간략화된 방법을 제시하였다. 제안된 방법은 화재강도 즉, 화재 중 최고노출 온도 뿐 아니라 화재지속시간도 고려할 수 있도록 하였다. 제안된 방법의 검증 및 비교를 위하여 화해를 입은 대구지하철 역사의 현장조사 결과를 인용하였으며, 해석결과 그 효용성을 확인하였다.

  • Commercial vehicle ESC assessment for curvature road was conducted. The previous study of ESC activation condition for losing controllability utilizing the test protocols of double lane change and sine with dwell method was conducted without considering the geometric complexity of roadway design. Since critical rollover accidents were frequently observed in the exit ramp zone, variety of curve, slope and bank have been added for analysis conditions. Detailed feature of the ramp including location, dimension and design characteristics have been analyzed from the typical trumpet type ramp design. Analyzing accident data from 2008, two specific ramps have been selected due to their complexity in design and severity in steering operation.

This study analyzed the 'Disaster Statistical Yearbook' of the Korea Occupational Safety and Health Agency, based on the factors that affect construction accidents that is selected and fined the some factors the construction Disaster Prevention Factors. This study will develop the methodology for analyzes that the national qualification is effected to the construction industrial machine disaster prevention status. It suggest two ways to the establishment of disaster trends. First way is the disaster quantitative analysis and second way is comparing the statistical data and the analysis of expert opinion.

  • 어린이의 경우 다른 연령층에 비해 신체적, 정신적으로 완성되지 못하여 교통사고의 가능성이 높으며, 특히 전국의 어린이 교통사고는 점진적으로 감소 추세이나 인천의 어린이 교통사고는 감소하다가 다시 증가 추세에 들어선 실정이다. 따라서 본 연구의 목적은 어린이 교통사고 심각도에 영향을 미치는 주요 요인들을 발견하고 제시하고자 하였다. 순서형 로지스틱 회귀분석을 활용하여 순서척도인 반응변수에 대한 설명변수의 오즈(Odds)를 확인하고자 하였으며 안전운전불이행, 차대사람(횡단중), 차대차(측면직각충돌)사고가 유의한 결과로 나타났다. 안전운전불이행으로 인한 사망사고와 기타사고의 오즈차이는 1.35배, 측면직각충돌로 인한 사망사고와 기타사고의 오즈차이는 1.76배 증가하는 것으로 나타났고, 횡단중인 경우에는 오히려 사망 위험도의 오즈값이 0.58배로 감소하는 것으로 나타났다.
