Recently, property and life loss is increasing internally and externally, due to fire spread in high-rise buildings which results from a variety of disasters like fire and terror. In this study, therefore, an evacuation simulation was performed to predict escape behaviors of occupants and assess escape safety in high-rise office buildings after setting up each scenario, as part of safety measures for high-rise buildings. Based on the results and data obtained, escape safety was assessed, finally. The results and suggestions of this study are as follows. Firstly, most of the present researches on high-rise building and multiple-use facilities are weighted towards qualitative perspectives. It is, therefore, considered that we have to establish concrete, practical, systematical and rational safety measures to minimize damages in dangerous situations, by analyzing security plans for high-rise buildings in depth and preparing for those situations from various angles. Secondly, setting up evacuation sections in security plans for high-rise buildings is an important factor which influences refuge. Thirdly, in relation to security plans for high-rise buildings, it is possible to reduce the entire time for escape, by setting up escape exits of each floor in consideration of a simultaneous evacuation situation.

This study analysis the fundamental properties of temperature-dependence corresponding the change of curing temperature classified by the replacement ratio of BS, and the results are summarized as following. As the properties of flow, plain satisfied with the target slump, and as the replacement ratio of BS increased, the flow increased, but the air content slightly decreased. The time of set delayed as the replacement ratio of BS increased, but the curing temperature $35^{\circ}C$, even with 80% BS replaced concrete, the time of set was faster than $5^{\circ}C$, $20^{\circ}C$ plain, so the temperature-dependence was much greater. The compressive strength was decreased as the replacement ratio of BS increased, especially as the curing temperature lower, the compressive strength was lower comparatively. Also as the age increased, the plain developed more strength, therefore it show the temperature-dependence is much larger.

This paper presents the feasibility of incorporating ultrafine particles collected in the separator bag filter (separator bag filter cement, SBFC) during the cement manufacturing process as an substitution material for cement. SBFC does not require additional processes needed in the existing processes to manufacture high early strength cement such as modifying mineral components and adjusting the firing temperature. Moreover, it can also solve the issue of efficiency decrease resulted from the increase of the grinding time applied in the existing process of manufacturing microcement. Therefore, this research has examined the characteristics of SBFC and fresh properties and mechanical properties after making paste and mortar using SBFC in order to use SBFC as a material to gain early strength of concrete. For results, analyzing the chemical composition and physical properties of SBFC, its blaine value was $6,953cm^3/g$, about double than that of OPC, but its chemical composition showed no significant difference. According to the result of the paste and mortar examination, the paste and mortar mixed with SBFC showed a lower flowability, earlier setting time, and higher compressive strength than that with OPC. The result of microstructure analysis of paste, the paste mixed with SBFC indicated about 9% lower internal porosity at an early age than that of OPC. The compressive strength and flexural strength of mortar were higher in the order of SBFC ratio of 100, 50 and 0% SBFC.

Recently, lots of researches on alkali-activated slag (AAS) concrete have been carried out to resolve the environmental issues such as recycling by-products and global warming. AAS concrete would have high strength and high level of durability. On the other hand, it is known that large amount of shrinkage occurred in AAS concrete due to rapid alkaline reaction in the early age, and however, the related studies about autogenous shrinkage of high strength AAS mortar are relatively rare. In this study, fresh mortar properties such as flow and setting time, compressive strength and autogenous shrinkage of AAS mortar with W/B=0.40 to 0.50, were measured. AAS mortar was activated with sodium silicate (Ms=1.0) with 5, 6 and 7 % of $Na_2O$. Test results revealed that AAS morar shows larger autogenous shrinkage than OPC mortar and the lower W/B of AAS mortar, the greater autogenous shrinkage. Therefore, the application of appropriate curing and the use of shrinkage reduction admixture would be needed to reduce autogenous shrinkage of AAS mortar.

Purpose There are many cyclotrons compared to the land area of the Republic of Korea. Because GMP certification is required and the nuclear medicine test does not apply for insurance, the number of examinations for nuclear medicine is decreasing. Therefore, there is a high probability of early decommissioning of the cyclotron. However, we do not unusually perform the radioactivation evaluation on concrete that can be classified as radioactive waste during the decommissioning of the cyclotron. In this study, we aim to confirm the radioactivation in the concrete surface using Handheld Radionuclide Identification Devices (RIDs). Materials and Methods Because there is no cyclotron being decommissioning in the Republic of Korea, it was impossible to perform the coring of concrete for radioactivation analysis. In this study, we used the KIRAMS-13 and analyzed the concrete surface in the target direction in the cyclotron room. After setting the target direction as the center, radionuclides were measured for about five months at thirty points with vertical and horizontal intervals of 30 cm. We used the RIIDEye(Detector: NaI(Tl) detector, manufacturer: Thermo) in this study and set the measurement time per point to one day (24 hours). Results Co-60 and Cs-137 were detected in some measurement points, and we confirmed the radioactivity of Co-60 detected at the most points. As a result, we found that the radioactivity of Co-60 was high in the diagonal direction (from the lower-left direction to the upper right direction) based on the center of the target. However, we think it is impossible to apply the corresponding results to all cyclotrons because we performed the study using only one cyclotron. Conclusion In thirty measurement points, we could confirm the radioactive nuclides and the relative radioactivity using the results of portable nuclides analyzer. Therefore, we expect that we can use the portable nuclides analyzer to select the coring position of concrete during the decommissioning of the cyclotron. Also, if we secure the radioactivation data for several years, we expect to make a more accurate estimate of radioactive waste during the preparation period of decommissioning of the cyclotron.
This study was carried out to recommend the systematic improving practice for the effective operation of septic tank, and the evaluation of its BOD and nutrient removal efficiency depending on process, the survey of characteristics of FRP material, and the suggestion of optimum septic tank model within sewage treatment area. The average BOD concentration and BOD removal efficiency of septic tank which was carried out the cleaning periodically in 63.9 mg/L and 77.8%, shows good quality better than the septic tank which was not carried out the cleaning regularly. Maximum load of tensile, flexural and compressive strength increased in proportion to its thickness, and the contents standard 25% of glass fiber required upgrade over than 30%. Configuration and performance for the optimum of the septic tank suggests that over $0.75m^3$ of the effective total volume, adding to over $0.25m^3$ a man for more than 5 men of the treated person, retention time should be within one day. Improving plans about facility and materials quality of the septic tank have an obligation that protective wall ought to install on the concrete bottom and side faces to prevent crumble or transform from loading of the ground or upper part of the structure on the tank setting. And it is eliminated the uneffective resisting pressure and it keeps off circulate imperfect products by strengthening of the test methods such as stretching strength, pressing strength, glass fiber contents and thickness.

In order to examine the possibility of practical use of aluminate cement concrete at low-temperature environment with insulation method, an experimental studies on flowability, setting time, freezing temperature, size variation and compressive strength of the mortar at low-temperature were conducted. Compressive strength was increased in use of CSA, aluminate cement with gypsum. Workability and physical properties were improved by using aluminate cement and gypsum. In addition, freezing resistance and physical properties were improved by applying the insulation curing method. Especially, when alumina cement and gypsum were used together, the insulation curing method was more effective in improving the compressive strength.
The transportation industry is one of the important industries due to the geographical requirements surrounded by the sea on three sides of Korea and the problem of resource poverty, which relies on imports for most of its resource consumption. Among them, the proportion of the shipping industry is large enough to account for most of the transportation industry, and maintenance in the shipping industry is also important in improving the operational efficiency and reducing costs of ships. However, currently, inspections are conducted every certain period of time for maintenance of ships, resulting in time and cost, and the cause is not properly identified. Therefore, in this study, the proposed methodology, LSTM-AutoEncoder, is used to detect abnormalities that may cause ship failure by considering the time of actual ship operation data. In addition, clustering is performed through clustering, and the potential causes of ship main engine failure are identified by grouping outlier by factor. This enables faster monitoring of various information on the ship and identifies the degree of abnormality. In addition, the current ship's fault monitoring system will be equipped with a concrete alarm point setting and a fault diagnosis system, and it will be able to help find the maintenance time.

In recent years, the growing interest in off-site construction has led to factories scaling up their manufacturing and production processes in the construction sector. Consequently, continuous large-scale site monitoring in low-variability environments, such as prefabricated components production plants (precast concrete production), has gained increasing importance. Although many studies on computer vision-based site monitoring have been conducted, challenges for deploying this technology for large-scale field applications still remain. One of the issues is collecting and transmitting vast amounts of video data. Continuous site monitoring systems are based on real-time video data collection and analysis, which requires excessive computational resources and network traffic. In addition, it is difficult to integrate various object information with different sizes and scales into a single scene. Various sizes and types of objects (e.g., workers, heavy equipment, and materials) exist in a plant production environment, and these objects should be detected simultaneously for effective site monitoring. However, with the existing object detection algorithms, it is difficult to simultaneously detect objects with significant differences in size because collecting and training massive amounts of object image data with various scales is necessary. This study thus developed a large-scale site monitoring system using edge computing and a small-object detection system to solve these problems. Edge computing is a distributed information technology architecture wherein the image or video data is processed near the originating source, not on a centralized server or cloud. By inferring information from the AI computing module equipped with CCTVs and communicating only the processed information with the server, it is possible to reduce excessive network traffic. Small-object detection is an innovative method to detect different-sized objects by cropping the raw image and setting the appropriate number of rows and columns for image splitting based on the target object size. This enables the detection of small objects from cropped and magnified images. The detected small objects can then be expressed in the original image. In the inference process, this study used the YOLO-v5 algorithm, known for its fast processing speed and widely used for real-time object detection. This method could effectively detect large and even small objects that were difficult to detect with the existing object detection algorithms. When the large-scale site monitoring system was tested, it performed well in detecting small objects, such as workers in a large-scale view of construction sites, which were inaccurately detected by the existing algorithms. Our next goal is to incorporate various safety monitoring and risk analysis algorithms into this system, such as collision risk estimation, based on the time-to-collision concept, enabling the optimization of safety routes by accumulating workers' paths and inferring the risky areas based on workers' trajectory patterns. Through such developments, this continuous large-scale site monitoring system can guide a construction plant's safety management system more effectively.

In this study, as the preliminary research on the development of heating concrete members, compressive strength and accelerated chloride diffusion behavior in the mortar specimens containing C12A7 based binder and anhydrite was evaluated. Also, the effect of the mixing ratio of the citric acid based retarder was quantitatively evaluated by considering 4 levels of mixing cases. The compressive strength tests of the mortar specimen were performed referred to KS L ISO 679, and the accelerated chloride diffusion tests were performed according to NT BUILD 492 and ASTM C 1202. In the mortar with 0.3 % of retarder, the highest compressive strength was evaluated, which showed the strength development ratio of 127.6 % compared to the control case. It was considered that engineering performance was improved by effectively securing setting and curing time with 0.3 % of citric acid based retarder. As the result of the evaluation of the passed charge and the accelerated chloride diffusion coefficient, the evaluation results had similar behavior with the results of compressive strength. According to the previous study, the strength behavior and the chloride diffusion behavior had a linear relationship. The mixture showing the highest strength performance had the highest durability performance for chloride ingress, and the heating concrete development from this study will be performed in the future.
