슬라이딩 모드를 이용한 로보트 매니퓰레이터의 실시간 제어에 관한 연구 (Study on Real Time Control of Robot Manipulator Using Sliding Mode)

  • 본 연구에서는 실용성을 중시하는 산업계의 요구에 부응하여 해석이 용이하면 서도 강인성을 갖춘 제어 알고리즘을 제안하여 실시간 제어가 가능한 시스템을 구축해 실험적으로 검토하였다. 매니퓰레이터와 서보계의 다이내믹스를 나타내는 미분방정 식은 선형요소와 비선형요소의 합으로 생각할 수 있다. 여기서 매니퓰레이터의 비선 형요소를 외란으로 간주해 슬라이딩 모드를 적용하므로 매니퓰레이터의 자유도가 높아 도 비교적 간단히 슬라이딩 모드의 존재 조건식으로 부터 절환 파라미터가 구해져 슬 라이딩 모드를 발생시킬 수 있는 알고리즘을 도출할 수가 있음을 보였다. 비선형요 소를 외란으로 간주하였을때 로보트 매니퓰레이터가 슬라이딩 모드에 들어갈 수 있도 록 외란에 대응하는 절환 제어입력을 종래의 방식대로 부가하면 이 제어입력으로 인해 채터링(chattering)이 증가하게 됨이 확인되었으며, 이러한 채터링을 줄일 수 있도록 새로운 절환 제어입력의 알고리즘을 도출하여 검토하였다.

  • The process equipment for handling high level radioactive materials, such as spent nuclear fuel, is operated within a sealed facility, called a hot cell, due to high radioactivity. Thus, this equipment should be maintained and repaired by remotely operated manipulator. In this study, to carry out the sale and effective maintenance of the process equipment installed in the hot cell by a servo type manipulator, a collision free motion planning method of the manipulator using virtual prototyping technology is suggested. To do this, the parts are modelled in 3-D graphics, assembled, and kinematics are assigned and the virtual workcell is implemented in the graphical environment which is the same as the real environment. The method proposed in this paper is to find the optimal path of the manipulator using the function of the collision detection in the graphic simulator. The proposed path planning method and this graphic simulator of manipulator can be effectively used in designing of the maintenance processes for the hot cell equipment and enhancing the reliability of the spent fuel management.

  • This paper is on the development of an educational 6-axis articulated manipulator using 4-bar linkage system. Especially, the 2$^{nd}$ and the 3$^{rd}$ axes need large torque to control the movement of an end-effect. However, small motors (RC-servo, DC-gear, stepping meters) are used for the 4-bar linkage.   • In this paper, we focus on a configuration control method of a redundant manipulator. The configuration of a redundant manipulator has been determined by geometry constraints and additional conditions, such as obstacle avoidance and dexterity optimization.   • Spent nuclear fuel is very dangerous substance emitting strong ionizing radiation which is harmful to human body. The remote handling of spent nuclear fuel is essential because people cannot access this substance without protecting radiation. To handle highly radioactive material or nuclear waste, many kinds of teleoperators such as master slave manipulator, electro mechanical manipulator, servo manipulator, mobile robot was developed. The distance and dimension of target object cannot be measured easily when highly radioactive material is handled by teleoperator because one should use lead glass or TV camera and monitor to protect radiation and see target object. During experiments on the remote handling of spent nuclear fuel by electro mechanical manipulator, we often felt that a distance and dimension measurement system is necessary to handle the objects which is in the highly radioactive environment, so we developed a system which is appropriate for this purpose.

Design and Implementation of Low-Cost Articulate Manipulator for Academic Applications

  • The objective of this work is to design a low cost yet fully functional 4-DOF articulate manipulator for educational applications. The design is based on general purpose, programmable smart servo motors namely the Dynamixel Ax-12. The mechanism for motion was developed by formulating the equations of kinematics and subsequent solutions for joint space variables. The trajectory of end-effector in joint variable space was determined by interpolation of a 3rd order polynomial. The solutions were verified through computer simulations and ultimately implemented on the hardware. Owing to the feedback from the built-in sensors, it is possible to correct the positioning error due to loading effects. The proposed solution offers an efficient and cost-effective platform to study the trajectory planning as well as dynamics of the manipulator.

  • This paper presents a new experimental Servo-Parameter tuning technique for a 6-axes articulated robot manipulator, especially considering robot's dynamics. First of all, investigation for proportional gain of velocity control loop by using a Dynamic Signal Analyzer(DSA) is performed. Using the FUNCTION characteristic of DSA based on the Bode plot, the Bode plot of open loop transfer function can be obtained. In turn, the integral gain of a servo controller can be found out by using the integration time constant extracted from the Bode plot of open loop transfer function. In the meanwhile, the positional gain of the servo controller can be obtained by using the Bode plot of the closed loop transfer function. Using the experimental gain tuning technique proposed in this paper, the testing linear motion of DR6-II robot has been shown to be more accurate rather than the motion with a conventional(empirical) gain tuning technique in Doosan Mecatec Co., Ltd., by improving the dynamic response of the robot as well as synchronizing each joint velocity according to the positional command of an end-effector.

직류 서어보 전동기 제어를 위한 직접 극배치 PID 자기동조 제어기의 설계 (A Study on the Direct Pole Placement PID Self-Tuning Controller Design for DC Servo Motor Control)

  • 직류 전동기의 위치 및 속도 제어를 위해 그동안 주로 사용해 왔던 고전적인 선형 PID 제어 알고리듬을 사용하여 왔으나, 주위환경의 변화나 부하의 변경 또는 외란과 같은 비션형 요소들로 인해 실제 시스템의 모델링에는 많은 제한이 따랐다. 이 문제를 해결하기 위해 시스템의 모델링 없이 매개변수들을 온라인으로 추정하여 식별할 수 있는 PID 자기 동조기의 설계 방법을 제안하였다. 본 논문에서는 극 배치 PID 자기 동조 제어기의 설계 기법을 제안하고, 각각의 제어기 매개변수들을 추정하기 위하여 순환 최소자승 알고리듬을 사용하야T으며, Diophantine 방정식의 도입으로 인한 4개의 추가매개 변수들을 추정된 제어기 매개변수들을 이용하여 새롭게 유도된 방정식에서 구하였다. 제안된 제어기의 성능을 평가하기 위하여 최소, 비최소 위상 시스템에 대한 시뮬레이션을 하였고 실제 로보트 매니플레이터용 DC 서어보 전동기에 대하여 무부하와 부하 실험을 거쳐 그 특성이 양호함을 검증하였다.
