EPCglobal Network is based on the Electronic Product Code(EPC) and rapidly opening up to many enterprises that have close relationships with each other. Since a huge amount of logistics Information is distributed in the EPCglobal Network, it needs to manage them effectively. Global logistics companies and institutes are studying and setting up the standards about EPC Information Service(EPCIS), Object Name Service (ONS) and EPC Discovery Service(EPCDS) in the RFID and EPC-based logistics information network. In this paper, we propose expanded EPCIS and EPCDS that are satisfy EPCglobal standards and enable more effective logistics information management.

This paper proposes various measures of reliability, maintainability and availability in information technology service management(ISTM). Global ITSM standards such as ITIL(IT Infrastructure Library) and ISO/IEC 20000 are introduced. Especially availability management of De-facto and De-juire standards is concerned with users and customers of IT service. The study presents seven reliability measures, six maintainability measures and two availability measures. These results can be effectively used with a appropriate IT availability management tools such as CFIA(Component Failure Impact Analysis) and SOA(Service Outage Analysis), etc.

In this paper, we present an interactive data broadcasting system compliant with the Advanced Television Systems Committee (ATSC) standards. The proposed system provides users not only with various data broadcasting services but also remote interactive services. For various data broadcasting services, we have adopted a synchronized data injector that calculates the transmission time of synchronized data accurately and multiplexes synchronized data with the data of an MPEG-2 audio-visual program according to the calculated transmission time. To support remote interactive services, we designed and implemented a return channel server connected on a bi-directional interaction channel. Test results show that the proposed system provides both an asynchronous and synchronized data broadcasting service and remote interactive service appropriately.

As buildings take on more advanced features, mechanical facilities of buildings are accounting for increasingly greater significance in building construction projects. However, mechanical facility designers are forced to be content with design service fees that do not properly compensate their excessive workload, with lowest-bid-first tendering practices compounding their economic woes. In relation to this, this Study aims to offer suggestions for better standards for compensation of design service for mechanical facilities of buildings, highlighting five key suggestions in consideration of relatively small size of work and unmatched long duration of work.

Purpose: This study was conducted to develop nursing standards for medical patients with Coronary Artery Disease (CAD) patients. Methods: This study was a methodological study. The content of nursing standards for medical patients with CAD developed in this study was validated. The nursing standards of cardiovascular nursing developed by the American Nurses Association (2008), the nursing standards developed by the Korea Nurses Association (2003) and a clinical manual of patients with CAD developed by K teaching hospital were reviewed. Literature regarding CAD nursing standards was also reviewed. The basic contents of nursing standards for medical patients with CAD were selected by an expert group including two nursing faculties, a cardiovascular unit manager, and two cardiologists. A pilot study was conducted then in real clinical settings, in which includes cardiovascular outpatient clinic, cardiovascular inpatient units, and cardiac intensive care units to evaluate clinical suitability of the nursing standards. Results: The final version of the nursing standards for medical patients with CAD included 12 standards, 24 criteria, 38 indicators and 92 nursing activities. Conclusion: The nursing standards developed in this study can be used in evaluating quality of nursing service and in educating nurses who are involved in patients with CAD.

The recent emergence of diverse platform-based media devices such as smart phones and iPads has aroused interest of consumers all across the world. This interest has led to digitalization of paper books and a steep growth in the digital publishing industry at home and abroad. However, advent of various devices and content has caused the issue of compatibility and produced needs and demand for standardization to exchange and share content related to digital publication. Through collection of opinions of 16 stakeholders from the industrial, academic, research, and public sectors, this study aims to examine predictable future changes about content and its distribution, devices, standardization, technical protective measures, and obstacles in future digital publishing and eventually to draw out areas and elements for future standards development.

The purpose of this study is to investigate how the curriculum, in which pre-service teachers experience mathematical process and develop assessment items and standards through the process experience in a mathematical essay course, affects the pre-service teachers and suggest its implications for teacher education. Fourty nine pre-service teachers, registered at a mathematical essay course in a K university in Seoul, developed mathematical essay problems and their assessment standards, and their developed processes were analyzed. According to the analysis results, first, mathematical essay problems developed by the fifty students reflect components of mathematical processes. Especially, one characteristic in revising assessment items shows that pre-service teachers considered not only justification process through different levels of difficulty and mathematical reasoning, but also logical descriptions through problem solving, when they worked on group discussions and examined middle school and high school students' responses. Second, while pre-service teachers developed rubrics for their assessment items and revised the rubrics based on students' responses, they established assessment standards which employed mathematical process by focusing on problem solving process rather than results and considering students' unexpected problem solving. The results imply a concrete method in planning and executing a mathematical essay course which makes use of mathematical process in teacher education.

In this paper, we analyze the capability of satellite broadcasting systems to offer different levels of quality of service (QoS). We focus on the European telecommunications standards institute satellite digital radio and digital video broadcasting satellite handheld (DVB-SH) standards, which have recently been proposed for satellite broadcasting communications. We propose a strategy to provide different levels of QoS for the DVB-SH standard on the basis of an extension of the interleaving scheme, referred to as molded interleaver, which supports low latency service requirements for interactive services. An extensive analysis based on laboratory measurements shows the benefits of this solution. We also present a multilevel coding (MLC) scheme with multistage decoding designed for broadcasting communications as an alternative to the existing standards, where services with different levels of QoS are provided. We present a graphical method based on mutual information for the design and evaluation of MLC systems used for broadcasting communications. Extensive simulations for a typical satellite channel show the viability of the proposed MLC scheme. Finally, we introduce multidimensional constellations in the proposed MLC scheme in order to increase the number of different protection levels.

The location based service means the service using the location information and the service used based on the location information comes into the spotlight as the critical information of the future mode townsman ubiquitous-City construction. LBS settles down as the core element of ITS or the telematics as the cutting edge technology appearing according to the power generation of the mobile communication technology and recently gradually broadens a range to the public safety service including the distribution management, the asset management, a children and old and the weak protection means, the disaster preparation rescue service like the E-911 of U.S. In the national, the technical regulations about the ground wave LBS was established at November 2005 for the first time in the country. but it actually operated and problems were deduced. Therefore, in this paper, domestic and foreign LBS usage trend and technical standards case try to be analyzed for the revision of the technical regulations of the ground wave LBS serviced in the national and the national technical standards bill for the revision tries to be prepared based on this.

The development of food poisoning prevention guidelines aims to prevent food poisoning in advance and improve the safety of children's meals through hygiene management of children's feeding facilities, especially infants' facilities. Therefore, the composition of the content should be designed so that it can be fully understood from the point of view of the layperson. In terms of meal service management, various standards must be fully reflected and reviewed to increase utilization in the field. Daycare centers and kindergartens have different administrative agencies, similar application laws and guidelines, but different parts exist and various types of facilities, so management standards are often ambiguous. Therefore, such management requires easy guidance, not special guidance, and it should be universally applicable to any facility. Prior studies have shown that the management of meal facilities is the most efficient, but it is difficult to hire and deploy specialists due to the operation of children's meal facilities, so guidance, facilities managers and workers need to voluntarily practice them. It is time to prepare hygiene guidelines that reflect the characteristics of these children's cafeterias, and it is necessary to prepare and utilize guidance suitable for reality until it is institutionalized for the deployment of manpower exclusively for meals.
