This paper presents the interruption capability of serial-hybrid type GCB (gas circuit breaker) compared with that of puffer type. First a puffer type model interrupter which has the stroke length of 80 mm has been designed and manufactured. And also, a serial-hybrid type interrupter which has the same design parameters as the puffer type interrupter except the serially arranged thermal-expansion chamber and puffer cylinder has been fabricated. Using a simplified synthetic test facility, the critical interruption capabilities of the two GCBs have been estimated. The critical di/dt, the critical dV/dt of ITRV (initial transient recovery voltage) and the minimum arcing time of the puffer type model GCB were 10.7 A/${\mu}\textrm{s}$, 5.5 kV/${\mu}\textrm{s}$, and 15.0 ms respectively. In the case of serial-hybrid type model GCB, each of the values was 16.6A/${\mu}\textrm{s}$, 11.5 kV/${\mu}\textrm{s}$ and 13.0 ms. As a conclusion of this work, it has been quantitatively confirmed that the hybrid type interrupter can obtain the sufficient interruption capability at the operating force which is so low that puffer type interrupter has not the interruption capability.

애드 혹 네트워크는 인프라스트럭쳐를 가지지 않는 멀티 홉의 무선 모바일 노드들로 구성된다. 모바일 애드 혹 네트워크상의 노드들의 이동성 때문에 네트워크의 토폴로지는 빈번히 변화한다. 이러한 환경에서 멀티캐스트 프로토콜은 멀티 홉 경로 생성 및 대역폭 제한이라는 문제에 직면하게 된다. 많은 멀티캐스트 라우팅 프로토콜들이 이미 제안되었다. 우리는 두 가지 애드 훅 멀티캐스트 라우팅 프로토콜 - Serial Multiple Disjoint Tree Multicast Routing Protocol(Serial MDTRP)와 Adaptive Core Multicast Routing Protocol(ACMRP)의 성능을 비교분석하였다. 비교분석에 사용된 시뮬레이션툴은 GloMoSim을 사용하였다.

Congenital melanocytic nevus consists of congregations of nevomelanocytes. It is found in approximately 1% of new born infants. Congenital melanocytic nevus needs to be excised before it transforms into a malignant lesion. Many strategies have been attempted for the removal and reconstruction of the nevus. Serial excision enables wound closure to be accomplished with a shorter scar than if the original lesion was elliptically excised in a single stage and reorientation of the scar closer to the relaxed skin lines. The routine utilization of an elliptical serial excision as a standard method of closure often leads to the formation of elongated scars and waste of skin. The "Cogwheel pattern" serial excision is a new technique for reducing the size of the nevus efficiently. Reducing the final scar length, distributing the tension over many directions, and having the chance of decrease in operation numbers are ultimately achieved with the use of the "Cogwheel pattern" serial excision.

최근 가전제품, 모바일 장비, 웨어러블 컴퓨터 등의 IoT 분야에서 센서 정보를 주고 받는 직렬 통신 방식이 사용된다. 기존의 SPI와 I2C 직렬 통신 방식은 클럭과 데이터 2개의 핀을 사용하여 비교적 빠른 속도로 데이터를 전송하는 방식이다. 사용되는 사물들이 점차 작아지고, 데이터 전송 정보의 양이 적어지면서 전송 속도보다는 하드웨어의 단순화가 중요한 설계요소가 되는 응용분야가 늘어나고 있다. 본 논문에서는 단일 핀을 사용하여, 데이터를 직렬로 송 수신하는 회로를 설계하고 FPGA로 구현하였다. 제안된 단일 핀 직렬 통신 프로토콜은 적은 양의 데이터를 저속으로 통신하는 IoT 제품에 적합하다.

정보 보호 응용에 새로운 이슈가 되고 있는 ECC 공개키 암호 알고리즘은 유한체 차원에서의 효율적인 연산처리가 중요하다. 직렬 유한체 곱셈기의 근간은 Mastrovito의 직렬 곱셈기에서 유래한다. 본 논문에서는 polynomial basis 방식을 적용하고 식을 유도하여 Mastovito의 직렬 유한체 곱셈방식의 3배 성능을 보이는 유한체 곱셈기를 제안하고, HDL로 기술하여 기능을 검증하고 성능을 평가한다. 설계된 3배속 직렬 유한체 곱셈기는 부분합을 생성하는 회로의 추가만으로 기존 직렬 곱셈기의 3배의 성능을 보여주었다.

This study compare the coordination and area between cadastral map digital data corrected by normal nap and serial cadastral map edited by formal data. By superposition ortho image made from aerial photo to serial cadastral map, we propose the method to improve the confidence and use the ortho image efficiently in cadastral part.

In this paper, we consider a code acquisition of W-CDMA signals over multipath Rayleigh fading channel when double-dwell serial search code acquisition is used for initial synchronization. We derive the detection and false alarm probability, and mean acquisition time mathematically by taking into account of multiple H$\_$l/ cells and double-dwell serial search. It is noteworthy that the more the number of the post-detection integration, the shorter the mean acquisition time in low SNR.

This paper is proposed a Modified WLD (Weighted Levenshtein Distance) algorithm for processor desihn of code-string matching. A proposed MWLD (Modified Weighted Levenshtein Distance) algorithm is consist of 1-dimension bit-serial array processor to pattern matching using a Hamming Distance. The proposed processor is applied to recognition of character with real time input. The recognition rate of Hangul strokes is resulted to 98.65$\%$

In this paper, a model of an asymptotically reliable serial production line with quailty control devices is introduced and analyzed. By an asymptotic technique and Taylor series expansion, its average production rate is approximated in a closed form. The results are applied to a case study of a surface mount system.

본 논문에서는 타원곡선 알고리즘에 기반한 공개키암호시스템 구현을 다룬다. 공개키의 길이는 193비트를 갖고 기약다항식은 p(x)=x/sup 193＋x/sup 15＋1을 사용하였다. 타원곡선은 polynomial basis 로 표현하였으며 SEC 2 파라메터를 기준으로 하였다 암호시스템은 polynomial basis 유한체 연산기로 구성되며 특히, digit-serial 구조로 스마트카드와 같이 제한된 면적에서 구현이 가능하도록 하였다. 시스템의 회로는 VHDL, SYNOPSYS 시뮬레이션 및 회로합성을 이용하여 XILINX FPGA로 회로를 구현하였다. 본 시스템 은 Diffie-Hellman 키교환에 적용하여 동작을 검증하였다.
