In this study, to increase the methane content of biogas supplied from Nanji Water Regeneration Center and to purify impurities, a three-stage membrane purification process was designed and installed to demonstrate operation. The methane concentration of biomethane produced in the 2 Nm3/h purification process was set to three cases: 95%, 96.5%, and 98%, and the membrane area ratio of the membrane was 1:1, 1:2, 1:1:1, The optimum conditions for the membrane area of the separator were derived by changing to five of 1:2:1 and 1:2:2. 3 stage separation membrane process of 30 Nm3/h was installed to reflect the optimum condition of 2 Nm3/h, and biomethane production of 98% or more of methane concentration was demonstrated. As a result of the operation of the 2 Nm3/h refining device, the methane recovery rate at the 98% methane concentration was 95.6% when the membrane area ratio was 1:1 as the result of the two-stage operation of the separator, and the recovery rate of methane at 1:2 was increased to 96.8%. The methane recovery rate of the membrane three-stage operation was highest at 96.8% when the membrane area ratio was operated at 1:2:1. The carbon dioxide removal rate was 16.4 to 96.4% and the 2:2 to 95.7% film area ratio in the two-step process. In the three-step process, the film area ratio was 1:2:1 to 95.4%, and the two-step process showed higher results than the three-step process. In the 30 Nm3/h scale biogas purification demonstration operation, the methane concentration after purification was 98%, the recovery rate of methane was 97.1%, the removal rate of carbon dioxide was 95.7%, and hydrogen sulfide, the cause of corrosion, was not detected, and the membrane area ratio was 1:2:1 demonstration operation, biomethane production with a methane concentration of 98% or higher was possible.

This study described the analytical method for simultaneous determination of 89Sr and 90Sr in liquid sample using automated separation system. Radiostrontium in 0.5 kg of liquid sample was concentrated as SrCO3 to reduce the volume of sample, and purified from the sample using Sr-resin 2 mL (BV, Bed volume). The behavior of Sr and interferences such as Ba, Ca and Y were estimated with various flow rate ranging from 1 to 4 mL min-1. The detailed procedure for the purification of Sr on Sr-resin was presented. The purified radiostronitum was measured in Cerenkov mode and then measured in Scintillation mode by mixing scintillation cocktail. The measured value in both modes were used to calculate the activity of 89Sr and 90Sr. The performance tests were carried out the lab-control-sample having various activity ratio of between 89Sr and 90Sr. The recovery of Sr was ranged from 68 to 94 %. The relative bias of 89Sr activity was ranged from -5 to 20 %, and it was ranged from -10 to 10 % for 90Sr.

This paper aimed to develop a solvent extraction and purification process to recover high-purified ${\beta}$-carotene from recombinant Escherichia coli. Cells harvested from the culture broth were treated through numerous steps: dehydration, solvent extraction, crystal formation and separation. To optimize the extracting condition, experiments were carried out to investigate the effect of cell disruption, temperature, organic solvents, solvent-biomass ratio on the yield of ${\beta}$-carotene extracted from cells. The result indicated that no significant differences of extraction yield were observed from cells with or without step of cell disruption. Among different extracting solvents, the highest extraction yield of ${\beta}$-carotene, 30.3 mg-${\beta}$-carotene/g-dry cells, was obtained with isobutyl acetate at solvent-biomass ratio 25 mL/g-dry cells at $50^{\circ}C$. Notably, in case of acetone, the extraction yield was quite low when using acetone itself, but increased almost up to the highest value when combining this solvent and olive oil. The purity of ${\beta}$-carotene crystals obtained from crystallization and separation was 89%. The purity degree was further improved up to 98.5% by treating crude crystals with additional ethanol washing.

In this experiment, Pd-Ag-Cu membrane was manufactured using electroless plating on an α-Al2O3 support. Pd, Ag and Cu were each coated on the surface of the support through electroless plating and heat treatment was performed for 18 h at 500℃ in H2 in the middle of electroless plating to form Pd alloy. The surface of the Pd-Ag-Cu membrane was observed through Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM), and the thickness of the Pd membrane was measured to be 7.82 ㎛ and the thickness of the Pd-Ag-Cu membrane was measured to be 3.54 ㎛. Energy dispersive X-ray spectroscopy and X-ray diffraction analysis confirmed the formation of a Pd-Ag-Cu alloy with a composition of Pd-78wt%, Ag-8.81wt% and Cu-13.19wt%. The gas permeation experiment was conducted under the conditions of 350~450℃ and 1~4 bar in H2 single gas and H2/N2 mixed gas. The maximum H2 flux of the hydrogen separation membrane measured in H2 single gas is 74.16 ml/cm2·min at 450℃ and 4 bar for the Pd membrane and 113.64 ml/cm2·min at 450℃ and 4 bar for the Pd-Ag-Cu membrane. In the case of the separation factor measured in H2/N2 mixed gas, separation factors of 2437 and 11032 were measured at 450℃ and 4 bar.
Car exhaust $CO_2$ gas reduction and fuel efficiency of the car lighter for the current era is a big challenge. The developments of high-performance Nd magnets, Li-ion secondary battery and exhaust gas purification performance of PGM catalysts used in the lightweight EV and HEV are activated. Country in order to improve the car lighter and function that use the resources of rare metals are ubiquitous imported from China because of export supply control, as soaring prices have unstable supply and demand. Compared to the emissions from the next-generation automotive recycling, waste scarce resources need to be. This study investigated the recycling technology analysis and development of the information technology, or delivered to the researchers by giving national car industry aims to contribute to the development. Findings, pulmonary high-performance motor vehicle emissions in the exhaust gas purification PGM Catalysts, Li-ion battery and Nd magnets recycling technology, such as pre- and post-processing techniques to classify technology, pre-urban mining technology mechanical separation by screening techniques under development, the study and post-processing technology has, pyro and hydro metallurgical smelting technology is established. Renewable energy has been of interests in the area of modern alternative fuels. Biogas is produced in waste landfill sites through anaerobic digestion processes, including hydrolysis, acidogenesis, organic acid fermentation (acetogenesis), and methane fermentation (methanogenesis). High contents of fine dust and moisture limited its utilization for direct combustion, town gas and vehicle fuel. Thus, this study proposed a new design for a cooling device using a centrifugal cyclone for simultaneous removal of fine dust and moisture as a pretreatment in the purification processes. A heat exchanger and an ID fan, which are installed inside and outside of the cyclone, in order to cool the humid gas below the freezing point and form a foggy mist. Such an atmosphere enhanced to capture fine dust as recirculating the cold mist flow. The water removal rate was 80.8% at a relative humidity of 95%, and the particle removal efficiency was 98.3% for $2.5{\mu}m$. Simultaneous removal efficiency was 70.8% and 99.6% for particle and moisture respectively.
An anion exchange chromatography was employed for the purification of mouse monoclonal antibodies from ascitic fluid and in vitro cultivation media. After cultivation of hybridomas, Alps 25-3, HCGK, A4W, and KW, producing IgG1, the culture supernatants were harvested by centrifugation, precipitated with 50-60% ammonium sulfate, and dialyzed against 0.025 M Tris-HCI buffer (pH 8.2). Then the dialyzed samples were loaded into a DEAE-Trisacryl M anion exchange column. Monoclonal antibodies bound to the DEAE-Trisacryl M were eluted with 0.025 M Tris-HCI buffer (pH 8.2) containing 30-40 mM NaCl. In ammonium sulfate precipitation, the recovery of the monoclonal antibody was shown to be 90% and 84% from in vitro culture media containing 10% and 2% fetal bovine serum, respectively. On the other hand, the pretreatment by ultrafiltration enhanced the yield up to 91% whereas the purity was lower than that by ammonium sulfate treatment. Subsequently, in the DEAE-Trisacryl M chromatographic separation, the purities and recoveries of all the monoclonal antibodies from both the in vitro culture supernatants and ascitic fluids were 70-80% and 65% respectively. The monoclonal antibody, Alps 25-3 could be further purified with a purity of 95% through an immunoadsorbent chromatography.
The optimum conditions of the 1st and 2nd distillation had been investigated to obtaine a high quality monomeric MDI and fire reactive polymeric MDI by purification of crude MDI. Effect of additives on the monomeric MDI's color change, dimerization and the reactivity of polymeric MDI with standard polyol system has been tested. When the monomeric MDI yield is approximately 32%, 4,4'-MDI content is above 98% in the monomeric MDI at the 1st distillation. When the separation ratio of initial portion and residue percentage, reflux ratio are set at respectively, approximately 20wt%, 9wt%, above 2 in order to minimize the content of 2,4'-MDI in monomeric MDI, the freezing point of final distilled monomeric MDI is above $38.4^{\circ}C$. Since the monomeric MDI is inherently unstable in the room condition, monomeric MDI easily changes it's color and conducts self-polymerization reaction. To increase the stability of monomeric MDI, the composition of antioxidant, which is composed of phenolic 1st antioxidant, phosphorus 2nd antioxidant, UV absorbent and Hindered amine light stabilizer are used, and benzoyl chloride as antipolymerization agent test are that APHA color is less than 20, dimer content is remained less than 0.36wt% after 45 days storage of monomeric MDI.

A protease was purified from Bacillus subtilis CCKS-111 by ammonium sulfate treatment, DEAE-cellulose ion-exchange chromatography, Sephadex G-100 gel filtration and high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC). The specific activity of the purified enzyme was 24.3 unit/mg protein and the purification fold of enzyme was 50.6. Molecular weight of the purified enzyme estimated about 28,000 by HPLC gel filtration. The amino acid residues of this enzyme were 251.3 except threonine, serine and glycine. This result was similar to Bacillus subtilis subtilisin DY. From the first N-terminal amino acid to the 32th amino acid, the amino acid sequence was estimated after RP-HPLC elution. N-terminal and the 32th amino acids were alanine and aspartic acid. Alanine, serine, glycine and arginine were four major acids in the enzyme.

Polydimethylsiloxane (PDMS) can be deposited on various substrates using chemical vapor deposition process, which results in the formation of PDMS thin films with thickness below 5 nm. PDMS layers can be evenly deposited on surfaces of nanoparticles composed of various chemical compositions such as $SiO_2$, $TiO_2$, ZnO, C, Ni, and NiO, and the PDMS-coated surface becomes completely hydrophobic. These hydrophobic layers are highly resistant towards degradation under acidic and basic environments and UV-exposures. Nanoparticles coated with PDMS can be used in various environmental applications: hydrophobic silica nanoparticles can selectively interact with oil from oil/water mixture, suppressing fast diffusion of spill-oil on water and allowing more facile physical separation of spill-oil from the water. Upon heat-treatments of PDMS-coated $TiO_2$ under vacuum conditions, $TiO_2$ surface becomes completely hydrophilic, accompanying formation oxygen vacancies responsible for visible-light absorption. The post-annealed $PDMS-TiO_2$ shows enhanced photocatalytic activity with respect to the bare $TiO_2$ for decomposition of organic dyes in water under visible light illumination. We show that the simple PDMS-coating process presented here can be useful in a variety of field of environmental science and technology.
