  • In this paper, a BLDC(Brushless DC) motor control system for driving fins to control the flight attitude of the guided artillery munition is developed. This system adopts a sensorless control scheme without any position sensor such as a Hall sensor fragile at high altitudes. The sensorless control of the BLDC motor is achieved by using commutation signals obtained from the measured pole voltages. The position control of the fin is also performed by using of the estimated speed from the commutation signals. The experimental results on the actual fin drive system demonstrated that the developed sensorless control algorithm can give an excellent position control performance.

  • 본 논문에서는 정렬과 비정렬된 회전자 위치들에서 자화곡선들을 기본으로 한 SRM의 회전자 워치펑가 알고리즘을 제안한다. 자화곡선은 측정된 상 전압과 상 전류로부터 계산되어지고, 계산된 데이타는 회전자 위치검출을 위한 자화곡선의 입력으로 사용되어진다. 자화곡선은 비션형 특성해석에 적합한 퍼지 알고리즘으로 구생되어졌다. 종래의 지삭기반 퍼지제어기를 이용한 자속관측기가 SRM의 센서리스 제어를 얻기 위해 제시되었다. 최적 각을 선정하기 위한 방식이 회전자 위치검출을 위해 제시되었다. 제안된 알고리즘의 강인성이 시뮬레이션과 실험결과의 비교를 통해 입증되었다.

  • In this paper, the sensorless MPPT algorithm is proposed where the performance of varied duty ratio change has been improved using multi-layer neuro-fuzzy that aligns with neuro-fuzzy based optimized membership function. Since the change of duty ratio of sensorless MPPT is varied by using the neuro-fuzzy, the MPPT response speed is faster than the convectional method and is able to reduce the steady-state ripple. The neuro fuzzy controller has the response characteristics which is superior to the existing fuzzy controller, because of the usage of the optimal width of the fuzzy membership function. The effectiveness of the proposed method has been verified by simulations and experimental results.

  • Switched Reluctance Motors have an inexpensive, intrinsic simplicity and low cost that makes them well suited to home appliance and office applications. However the motor suffering with necessity of shaft position sensor, lead to non-linearity of operations. Further, the involvement of static converters deteriorates the operational power factor. Implementation of a sensorless algorithm, can remove the need of position sensors. Also, the drive includes a compact power factor control in the input stage by implementing Zero Current Switching Quasi-Resonant Boost Technology. This paper presented, aims at optimized low line current distortion, high power factor, low cost and a shaft position sensorless Switched Reluctance Motor drive.

  • The design of speed controller for induction motor using tabu search is studied. The proposed sensorless vector control for Induction Motor is composed of two parts. The first part is for optimizing the initial parameters of input-output. The second part is for real time changing parameters of input-output using tabu search. Proposed tabu search is improved by neighbor solution creation using Gaussian random distribution. In order to show the usefulness of the proposed method, we apply the proposed controller to the sensorless speed control of an actual AC induction Motor System. The performance of this approach is verified through simulation.

  • To reduce the size and cost of motor driving systems, several methods for driving multiple parallel-connected motors with a single inverter have been proposed. However, dual PMSMs driven by a single inverter, unlike induction motors, have a problem with instability due to system resonance caused by disturbances such as load imbalance and tolerances between two motors. To drive dual SPMSMs fed by a single inverter, this paper proposes an active damping algorithm to effectively suppress resonance by using one-sided sensorless speed control and position difference estimation. By deriving rotor position difference from d-q current differences between two motors, the proposed method is affected less by position difference estimation errors and is simpler than dual sensorless position estimation.

  • This paper presents a position sensorless control system of Switched Reluctance Motor (SRM) using neural network. The control of SRM depends on the commutation of the stator phases in synchronism with the rotor position. The position sensing requirement increases the overall cost and complexity. In this paper, the current-flux-rotor position lookup table based position sensorless operation of SRM is presented. Neural network is used to construct the current-flux-rotor position lookup table, and is trained by sufficient experimental data. Experimental results for a 1-hp SRM is presented for the verification of the proposed sensorless algorithm.

  • This paper describes the initial angle adjustment method on Hall Sensorless Linear Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor The implementation of the controller is designed on the DSP TMS320C32 board. PMLSM is operated by using 4-point absolute positions profile with each velocity, acceleration and deceleration. To achieve Hall Sensorless characteristics, Moving Coil Type PMLSM is used and initial angle adjustment algorithm is adapted.

  • This paper presents a sensorless control strategy of a PMSM(Permanent Magnet Sycchoronous Motor). This method is very simple to compute the position angle of a rotor. A principle and a practical solution are described. A sensorless control algorithm is proposed to remove a mechanical position sensor. The theory is based on the superposition principle. The state equation of a motor is divided into two conditions: one is the state equation of exciting voltage and phase current in a constraint, the other is the state equation of back EMF(Electromotive Force) and phase current in a short circuit. Based on the analysis, short circuit current by back EMF is computed and then the information of position angle is calculated. The proposed method is verified by experimental results.

  • The PMSM position sensor using two rectangular hall sensors can restrictively acquire the 90[$^{\circ}$] position information of rotor according to electrical angle. Thus, the control method using this position sensor cannot react properly to a rapid load torque change. On the other hand, even though a sensorless method has the advantage of acquiring instantaneous rotor position information, the accuracy of position sensor can be determined by the gain value of estimator. This paper suggests a robust speed control method on torque fluctuation condition, which combines low cost two rectangular hall sensors and sensorless control method.
