The main goal of this paper is to design a high performance SVP(Stack based Video Processor) for network applications. The SVP is a comprehensive scheme; 'better' in the sense that it is an optimal selection of previously proposed enhancements of a stack machine and a video processor. This can process effectively object-based video data using a S-RISC(Stack-based Reduced Instruction Set Computer) with a semi -general-purpose architecture having a stack buffer for OOP(Object-Oriented Programming) with many small procedures at running programs. And it includes a vector processor that can improve the MPEG coding speed. The vector processor in the SVP can execute advanced mode motion compensation, motion prediction by half pixel and SA-DCT(Shape Adaptive-Discrete Cosine Transform) of MPEG-4. Absolutors and halfers in the vector processor make this architecture extensive to a encoder. We also designed a VLSI stack-oriented video processor using the proposed architecture of stack-oriented video decoding. It was designed with O.5$\mu\textrm{m}$ 3LM standard-cell technology, and has 110K logic gates and 12 Kbits SRAM internal buffer. The operating frequency is 50MHz. This executes algorithms of video decoding for QCIF 15fps(frame per second), maximum rate of VLBV(Very Low Bitrate Video) in MPEG-4.

The 3D Image which embodies real object to 3D space of computer enables various geometrical analysis as well as visualization of complex 3D shape by giving sense for the real and cubic effect that can not be offered in 2D image. Human gives real object to same physical properties in 3D space imagination world of computer, and it is expected that this enables offering of various information by user strengthening interface between human-computer to observe object in real condition. In this study, formal style routine of 3D image creation applying digital photogrammetry was designed for more practical, highly trusty 3D image creation, and the system was emboded using object-oriented technique which strengthen user interface. Also, the discontinuity information about rock slope using 3D image is acquired that is orientation, persistence, spacing and aperture etc.
Although it has been noted that mentoring program is viewed as a effective way of intervention for the youth at-risk and vulnerable, few empirical studies have documented the benefits of mentoring program on youth. This research focused on effectiveness of campus-based mentoring program for children of unemployed families. It examined psychosocial benefits of mentoring program on mentor and mentee using the experimental design, posttest-only control group design. Significant differences were found between the control and intervention group. Children who have participated in mentoring program marked higher scores than control group in various psychosocial aspects including interpersonal skills, self-efficacy, sense of plan and motivation of schooling. Also university students who have participated as mentors marked higher ego-strength score than not. On the basis of these findings, this study recommended campus-based mentoring program as a effective growth-oriented program for the university students as well as the children of unemployed families.
In Korea, the distribution channel for agricultural products is notorious for its complexity and ineffectiveness. In this sense, the Agricultural Cooperative has tried to clarify the distribution channel and reduce its length. However, there still exist much room for improvements. The Internet shopping mall specific for agricultural product, therefore, is drawing much attention because it can reduce the length of distribution channel drastically and improve effectiveness from the distribution perspective. To test the validity of such Internet-driven shopping mall, we gathered questionnaire data from the Internet based Hannaro Shopping Mall which is run directly by the Agricultural Cooperative. We performed experiments respectively for the two groups of operating personnel and consumers. Experimental results showed that several important factors can be identified which are significant statistically and deemed to have meaningful relationship with performance variables. Our results also showed that the Internet shopping mall has a great potential for improving the effectiveness of the distribution channel of the agricultural products.
This paper describes the implementation process of Virtual Modeling system for a customer-oriented product. The human sense is measured and analyzed by physical design factors and can be applied also for the product design. The first step implementing virtual modeling is to make a human sensibility("Kansei") database. Human sensibility database is constructed with the relational data of Kansei words and design factors. The next step is extraction the design information from the human sensibility database by fuzzy inference algorithm. This design information is used for the input data for the graphic database. Virtual implementation software compounds 3D shape of product. The final product can be modified according to the customer's requirement.quirement.
Performance evaluation is essential for the successful management and operation of MIS. The more MIS grows and relevant investment enlarges, the more performance evaluation grows in importance. However, MIS managers as well as top management still have difficulty in evaluating the performance of MIS. This arises from various reasons, such as the specialty of MIS, diversified influences of MIS, multidimensionality of evaluation items, and the difference between evaluation levels. In this paper, MIS is understood in a broad sense. MIS's scope is of a very wide range from each application system to system innovation view. The MIS should support the firm's objectives, and, consequently, MIS evaluation should be implemented at corporate level, not merely at application system level. The most critical problem of MIS evaluation is that a systematic frame covering various viewpoints and factors of MIS evaluation does not exist. Not a single measure covers all aspects of MIS evaluation. To help resolve this problem, this paper proposes an hierarchical approach for practical use that includes most aspects of evaluation approaches from previous studies, and, furthermore, emphasizes the evaluation of strategic aspects of MIS.

This paper discusses various problems related to the teaching of English grammar at Korean universities. We first discuss whether English grammar should be taught at universities, and, if it is, what kind of English grammar needs to be taught. We propose that the English grammar we teach to Korean undergraduate students be eclectic in the sense that the traditional grammar established by Jespersen and others be the major source of instruction, supplemented, if necessary, by school grammar and also by linguistically oriented grammars such as generative grammar or cognitive grammar. Then we discuss the content of the English grammar that should be included in the curriculum : (i) present perfect vs. past, (ii) will vs. be going to, (iii) must vs. have to, (iv) may vs. can, (v) infinitives vs. gerunds, (vi) conative constructions, and (vii) the passive.

The rapid increase in the penetration rate and diverse utility of smart devices opens an opportunity for a development in creating a user-oriented ubiquitous system. And it allows audiences to deploy the exhibition-helping contents regardless of the restriction of place and time with using the smart devices of audience themselves. Also it needs to build a mobile web-based portal system for the related services. To do this, Firstly, it needs the corresponding strategies on a smartphone-based environment such as technical competence, systematic preparation of exhibition with compatible mobile contents, and a compatible channel for interactivity. Secondly, it needs the differentiation of exhibition guide with the existing system: an adoption of augmented reality, panoramic technology and simulation effect aiming for an improvement in a sense of immersion and reality for audience, and building up additional contents with a diversity of formats of image, sound, and video for customer satisfaction.
From ancient times to today the formation of centrality in architecture has taken very important role as an organizing device. However after 19th century modem architecture focused on the universal aspect and homogeneity of space, and developed its own vocabulary through de-centralization. Since 1960's the reflections on de-humanized space of modem space have been evloved. As those movement has been understood seriously, the centrality can be changed to phenomenological one. And The phenomenological centrality maintains organic balance with its surroundings not trying to form a hierarchic system. So it shows human-oriented tendency and facilitates experiential movements of human body. And it also gives a sense of being. The phenomenological centrality is comprised of center, boundary, and two types of axis. The characteristics of phenomenological centrality can be analyzed as practical and meaningful center, visible boundary, experiential movement, and unexpectable encounters with spaces and nature.
With the ubiquitous use of the Internet in daily business activities, most of modern firms are keenly interested in customer's behaviors on the Internet. That is because a wide variety of information about customer's intention about the target web site can be revealed from IP address, reference address, cookie files, duration time, all of which are expressing customer's behaviors on the Internet. In this sense, this paper aims to accomplish an objective of analyzing a set of exemplar web log files extracted from a specific P2P site, anti identifying information about customer segmentation strategies. Major web mining technique we adopted includes a machine learning like C5.0.
