『충렬소오의(忠烈小五義)』의 국내유입과 스토리 연구 (The study on Zhong-lie-xiao-wu-yi(『忠烈小五義』)'s transmission and the story)

  • Zhong-lie-xiao-wu-yi(忠烈小五義), whose author was Shiyukun(石玉昆), is a Xia-Yi-Gong-An(俠義公案) novel in the late Qing Dynasty. This work published in 1890 when Emperor Guangxu(光緖) governed China. This work's author is Shiyukun, distribution books has an amender. The amender will be a shuoshuyiren (說書藝人). Zhong-lie-xiao-wu-yi is Zhong-lie-xia-yi-zhuan(忠烈俠義傳)'s a sequel, the story leads from Zhong-lie-xia-yi-zhuan. It is just the beginning of Zhong-lie-xiao-wu-yi is redundant. Zhong-lie-xiao-wu-yi was introduced to the late Chosun(朝鮮) Dynasty. This work was translated in Hangeul, Chosun's readers read Zhong-lie-xiao-wu-yi. This work's circulation is not clear, But this work's exciting story is interested in the readers. This work is characterized as follows: First of all, Zhong-lie-xia-yi-zhuan's charaters appear equally, the readers feels familiar. The readers like the familiar characters, because the readers read the book. The familiar characters can have a sense of speed in reading. Second, the story is continuous. Zhong-lie-xiao-wu-yi is narrated by connecting Zhong-lie-xia-yi-zhuan's story. Third, Zhong-lie-xiao-wu-yi was seeking an open ending. Classical novels prefer happy ending, this work is open ending, the expectations for the sequel became more doubled. The fourth, this work took advantage of the colloquial expressions. Zhong-lie-xiao-wu-yi is Huabenti(話本體) novel, took advantage of the spoken language. Suyu(俗語) and xiehouyu(歇後語) was represented in this work. Fifth, this work is formed a universal consensus. Ordinary people must empathize about xia-yi(俠義) and retribution, this work was well represented. Because the readers would have liked to this story.

Ensemble Engine: Framework Design for Visual Novel Game Production

  • In this study, we propose an ensemble engine, which is a framework for game engine optimized for visual novels genre, focusing on storytelling among various game genres. The game of Visual Nobel genre is based on multi-ending story and features branching of various scenarios according to user's choice. The proposed engine supports various multi-scenarios and multi-endings based on nodes according to the characteristics of these genres. In addition, it provides a convenient and intuitive user interface that not only enhances user immersion but also provides VR function to maximize the sense of presence. We will demonstrate the usefulness of the proposed game engine by designing the framework of a game engine suitable for this feature and actually creating variety stories automatically.

  • 본 논문은 가상현실을 기반으로 한 고령자용 치매 예방 기능성 게임 개발에 대해 기술한다. 게임의 개발에는 Unity 3D 엔진을 사용하였고, 가상현실 공간인 낚시터를 구현하였다. 게임의 대상자가 가상현실과는 상대적으로 친숙하지 않은 고령자인 점을 감안하여 VH HMD 장비에 쉽게 적응할 수 있도록 게임 내에서 플레이어의 움직임이 없도록 하였고, 조작에 있어서 어려움을 줄이기 위해 조작 버튼 개수를 최소화하였으며, 직관적인 게임 구성으로 거부감과 피로감을 줄였다. 또한, 게임 완료 후 별점을 부과하는 시스템으로 성취감을 주어 즐겁고 꾸준히 참여하도록 유도하였다. 개발된 게임은 전체적으로 메인, 인터페이스, 스테이지, 별점, TTS, 튜토리얼, 엔딩크레딧 등으로 이루어져 있다. 각 카테고리별 스테이지를 3단계로 나누어 하나의 통합 환경에서 구현하였고 VR HMD를 이용해 가상현실 내에서 기억력, 주의력, 판단력을 증진시킬 수 있는 게임을 진행할 수 있도록 되어 있다.

산업보안관리사 개발과정에서 PMP를 활용한 단계별 창직 연구 (A Study on Job creation Using PMP in ISE development process)

  • 창직(창직업)이란 작은 의미에서는 자격증을 만들어 직업을 개발하는 것이며, 큰 의미에서는 정부 차원에서 신산업을 조성하고 이에 필요한 직업을 개발하는 활동을 의미한다. 이에 창직 사례로 공인민간자격인 산업보안관리사(ISE, Industrial security expert)의 개발 과정을 예로 들고 프로젝트 관리의 지침서인 PMBOK(Project Management Body of Knowledge)의 PMP(Project Management Process)와 매핑하여 단계별로 창직에 필요한 세부 요구지식을 도출하고 이 과정을 정형화하고자 하였다. 결과적으로 (1) 창직 계획 (2) 민간자격 등록신청 (3) 직무분석 (4) 세부출제기준 확정 (5) 접수시스템 구축 (6) 교재개발 (7) 설명회 개최 (8) 자격검정 공고 (9) 양성과정 교육 (10) 자격시험 시행 (11) 직무교육 및 지속 수요확대 등 11단계를 도출하였으며, 향후 자격증을 만드는 창직사 개발에 기초자료가 될 것이다.

콩그리브의 『세상만사』 속 세상 읽기: 미라벨, 그는 영웅인가? 난봉꾼인가? (Reading the World of Congreve's The Way of the World: Mirabell, Is he a Hero? or a Rake?)

  • This essay explores Congreve's last play The way of the World in terms of English new identity of the gentry represented by Mirabell in political, social and historical context of the Bloodless Revolution. Particularly, this essay focuses on behavioral differences between Mirabell and Fainall as characters who manage a certain type of acceptable Englishness through their heir. The acceptable Englishness separates what the differences are between two rakes from the outside of normative principle. The Way of the World reflects Lockean republican ideology in personal and familial relationships. Mirabell as a heroic rake represents new expectations for Englishmen who rejects absolute sovereign contrasted by Fainall's foreign tyrannical ways of domesticity. The Foreignness of Fainall's in the play is displaced by corollary change in the new model of English identity exemplified by Mirabell. Through the play, Congreve tends to satirize repressive morality of Hobbesian extremism and emphasizes the Revolution settlement based on consent sand trust instead. Mirabell's normative will harmonizes individual desire for happiness with social demand. In a sense Congreve's The Way of the World is a play reaching typical Restoration ending of intrigue and conspiracy through two rakes's interaction. Accordingly, this essay tries to show what separates the heroic rake from tyrannical libertine through their way of love, money, compromise and negotiation, which is their way of life.

글로리아 네일러의 『린덴 힐즈』 -억압적 '원장면'과 왜곡된 '가족 로맨스'의 비극 (Gloria Naylor's Linden Hills: A Tragic Saga of the Oppressive "Primal Scene" and Deformed "Family Romance")

  • Gloria Naylor's second novel Linden Hills (1985) explores the issues of self-exploration, empowerment, history, and memory by delineating the communal and familial tragedies and the distortion of values prevalent in a prosperous African-American urban community called Linden Hills. Drawing upon the Freud's concept of "primal scene" and "family romance," this paper aims to focus upon the Nedeed family, the founder of Linden Hills, and investigate the compelling traumatogenic force within the family, which is inseparably intertwined with the inversion of values and moral corruption permeating the entire community. The "primal crime" committed by the Nedeed ancestors serves to preserve and perpetuate a tyrannical rule by ruthless patriarchs who reign by underhanded strategies of purposefully neglecting and abusing others, including their own wives. The imprisonment, by Luther Nedeed, of his wife Willa in the family morgue epitomizes the long legacy running in the family-the oppression and burial of the pre-Oedipal, maternal history. Willa's accidental encounter, at the nadir of the family estate and her personal despair, with the faded records of the forgotten and abused Nedeed women exposes the violence-ridden ground of the family's primal scene and the absurdity of family romance the Nedeeds pursued. As the several lines of poem composed by Willie, Willa's male double, show, the hidden, forgotten history of the Nedeed women, in a sense, is the real, which cannot be assimilated to the social symbolic governed by the inhumane patriarchy of the Nedeed family and the success-oriented Linden Hills society. By portraying a catastrophic downfall of the Nedeed family and the futile outcome of its family romance, the ending of Linden Hills conveys implicitly that the contingent symbolic order and its oppressive control, however solid and invincible they may seem, can be toppled down by the real, its nameless forgotten Other.

멜로드라마, 그 근대적인 모럴의 형식 (Melodrama as a Form of the Moral)

  • Melodrama emerged as a form of the moral in the early modern age. As an approach 'the moral' not only means that rewarding virtue and punishing vice, but also refer to a principle of spiritual life and a way of life. -Melodrama theatricalizes a new vision of human life and society through a new type of the virtuous protagonist and sentiment/-ality. -This allows melodrama to be a dominant cultural form in this modern age, beyond the borders of the theater, mass-media, and literature. Virtue and sentiment/-ality are the core elements of melodrama, which differentiate it from tragedy and comedy especially in the structure and effect of the drama. Actually virtue and sentiment/-ality have been a main target of criticism. Virtue has been regarded as a trite quality of the stereotypical protagonist, and sentiment/-ality as a banal emotion which paralyzes an audience's recognition of reality. -However, this thesis regards both virtue and sentiment/-ality as vehicles for showing and sharing the morals of the modern age. First, the virtues of the protagonist included the general and universal ones of the bourgeois -at that times, the bourgeois represented themselves as a human being- such as the responsibility and obedience of a father, a mother, a wife, a husband, a daughter and a son. They also included the professional ethics such as courage, honesty, and justice and so on. The fall or salvation of the protagonist is largely determined by his/her private individual virtue. Second, sentiment/ality is a theatrical device that makes the audience internalize the protagonist's virtue. The protagonist expresses his/her universal virtue sentimentally, and the audience also expresses their virtue by sympathizing with the protagonist's virtue sentimentally. However, the melodramatic protagonist as an individual, is not connected with society, but remains isolated. As a result, s/he has no influence on the society, where s/he can only ends her/his play alone with a happy-ending. S/he is happy alone, or at best happy with his/her own family. On the contrary to this, tragic protagonist usually fixes social disorder through his/her fall. In that sense, we can say that melodrama presents only the half of the human life.

정지용의 월트 휘트먼 시 번역 작업의 목적: 일제 강점기와 해방 공간의 근본적 차이 (The Purpose of Walt Whitman's Poetry Translation by Chung Ji Young)

  • Chung Ji Yong is a well-known poet in the Japanese Occupation Period firstly as a lyrical and traditional poet as a member of the literary journal Simunhak(Poetry Literature) along with Park Yong Chul and Kim Young Rang and later as a prominent modernist poet in the late years of the Period. He is always highly estimated as a poet of pictorial images and lyricism, but his ardor for translations, especially Walt Whitman has been neglected so far. Before him, Ju Yohan, Yi Kwang Soo, Yi Un Sang, Kim Hyung Won and many other poets and critics had been interested in Whitman's democratic ideas and his poems. Chung Ji Young also translated Whitman's three poems in the hard days of 1930s. After the Imperial Japan surrendered to the Allied forces on 15 August 1945, ending 35 years of Japanese occupation, Korea was under the American forces and Russian troops. In this critical days of Korean's debating only one korea or separated Koreas, strangely enough, Chung ji Yong fully immersed in translating Whitman's poems only for four years as an English literature professor just before being abducted by North Korean Army, while almost discarding his own poetic ability and sense of duty as a leading poet in the literary circle with only just a few exceptions. Why did Chung Ji Yong focused on the translation of Whitman's poems in this important period as a poet and intellectual in the newly independent country? He may want to warn people too much ideological conflicts or at least express his frustration through translating Whitman's poems. Until now, academic endeavors on Chung Ji Yong's poems and life are focused on his lyrical and modernistic works of the Japanese Occupation Period and naturally little interested in the days of Independence period and his true motivations on translating Whitman's poems. As a proposal, this short article can be a minor trigger for the sincere efforts of Chung Ji Yong's last days.

웹 이용자의 정보탐색행위 패턴 분석 (Analyzing Patterns in User's Information Seeking Behavior on the Web)

  • 전통적인 정보환경에 비해 웹 환경은 매우 다양하고 이질적인 이용자들을 대상으로 하기 때문에 이용자의 개별적 특성에 초점을 맞추어서는 웹 정보탐색행위에 대한 일반적인 이해가 불가능하다. 따라서 본 연구는 웹 이용자에게서 보여지는 공통된 정보탐색행위에 초점을 맞춰 이용자들이 웹에서 어떻게 정보를 찾는지 그 행위 패턴을 분석하고자 한다. 이를 위해 시간대별 인터뷰 기법을 적용하여 Dervin의 인지이동 개념을 기반으로 웹과의 상호작용 속에서 이루어진 일련의 인지적 움직임을 파악하고 하였다. 본 연구는 응답자 21명을 대상으로 37개의 웹 탐색 경험을 조사하였다. 분석결과, 웹 정보탐색행위는 시작, 검색, 브라우징, 조사, 정보발견, 결정/행동, 종료의 7가지 유형으로 구성되었다 응답자별로 매우 다양한 행위 패턴을 보였으며 특히 브라우징 단계를 중심으로 반복되고 순환되면서 웹 정보탐색행위의 다방향적이고 비선형적인 특징을 보였다.

EF 센서기반 손동작 신호 감지 및 자동 프레임 추출 (EF Sensor-Based Hand Motion Detection and Automatic Frame Extraction)

  • 본 논문에서는 사람의 손동작에 의해 모바일장치상의 전기장센서를 통해 감지되는 동작신호의 실시간 검출 및 프레임 추출 알고리즘을 제안한다. 동작인식에 사용되는 전기장센서는 주변 환경 및 시점에 따라 랜덤잡음 및 센서 표면의 초기 대전상태의 가변적인 특성으로 인해 안정적으로 동작신호를 검출하는데 어려움이 있다. 본 논문에서는 이와 같은 환경에서도 안정적이고 강건하게 동작신호를 감지하여 검출할 수 있는 동적문턱치 방법(dynamic thresholding method)을 제안한다. 동작발생감지여부는 10Hz low-pass 필터와 MA(Motion Average) 필터를 통한 입력신호가 특정 문턱 전압값을 넘을 경우 감지되는데 감지 시점 센서상의 정전하상태가 가변적이므로 주기적으로 offset 값을 계산하여 새로운 문턱치를 동적으로 적용하는 방법이다. 이러한 방법으로 동작신호 감지율을 98% 이상으로 향상 시킬 수 있었다. 또한 일단 동작이 감지되면 정문턱치(positive thresold)와 부문턱치(negative threshold)의 통과시점, 횟수와 평균 동작주기를 고려한 동작신호프레임 알고리즘을 제안하였으며 이의 프레임추출 성공률도 98% 이상의 성능을 보였다. 본 논문에서 제안한 알고리즘으로 추출된 동작신호는 이후 신호정규화를 거쳐 LSTN 심층신경망 인식부를 거쳐 높은 손동작 인식률을 보임으로서 제안된 알고리즘의 우수함을 입증하였다.
