This paper explores antecedents of entrepreneurial and job search intentions based on the theory of planned behavior. Additionally, it examines the impact of entrepreneurship and job search education on these antecedents of entrepreneurial and job search intentions. The research model has been validated by analyzing 1,432 responses from undergraduate students in South Korea. The results of analysis provide several findings: First, entrepreneurship attitude, entrepreneurship subjective norm, and entrepreneurship self efficacy showed significant positive effects on entrepreneurial intention, but their effects on job search intention were insignificant. Second, while job search attitude showed significant positive effects on both intentions, job search subjective norm showed a significant effect only on job search intention, and job search self efficacy showed a significant effect only on entrepreneurial intention. Third, entrepreneurship education increased all the antecedents of entrepreneurial intention, and reduced job search attitude. These results imply that entrepreneurship and job search education should be managed comprehensively, considering their cross-effects on the antecedents of entrepreneurial and job search intentions.
Technological systems are defined as network(s) consisting of technological infrastructure, industrial organization, and institutional infrastructure. This paper reviews SEMATECH in the U.S. and VLSI Program in Korea as a technological system for semiconductor, which is an advanced technology. Several issues are addressed : how did they get started\ulcorner ; how have they been evolved\ulcorner ; how have the actors and institutions within the system interacted\ulcorner ; what role has the government played in that process\ulcorner Both systems were created by their government, respectively, and they have been evaluated as successful. However, while SEMATECH became complete eough in terms of technological infrastructure, industrial organization, and institutional infrastructure to generate sufficient increasing returns to develop in a self-reinforcing way, a series of VLSI program in Korea is still operated discontinuously under the government subsidy. SEMATECH is more flexible and stable than Korea's VLSI program in that the system has a centralized structure and has been managed and staffed by industry substantially. In addition, both cases show that a technological system may evolve having connections with foreign technological systems and local sub-systems beyond nations, regions and industries. Many other similarities, contrasts, and insights for technological policy from each country's experiences are presented.
The development of a Web-based powertrain performance simulation system is introduced. The development approach of system architecture and each module is introduced along with the H/W and S/W used. The interface with all users is developed via a JAVA Applet. The powertrain modeling and other job history data of a user is managed systematically on the server by database to increase the reusability of the data. A self-developed program using object-oriented programming is used as a solver for the performance simulation. The graph tool for the analysis of simulation results has the collaboration support developed based on JAVA so that synchronous users can view the same result. As a result, the powertrain simulation is possible only with Web-browser for the user and the collaboration support among the relevant engineers is possible.
Purpose: The purpose of this study was to identify the relationship between health behaviors and musculoskeletal disease in adults. Methods: The data of 7,421 adults applied in this study were collected from health behaviors (smoking, drinking, exercise, weight, sleeping, stress) and related with musculoskeletal disease form 2009 Korea National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey. Date were collected through self-report questionnaires from January to December, 2009. Data were analyzed using chi-square test, Multivariate logistic regression with SPSS/WIN 17.0. Results: The prevalence rate of musculoskeletal disease was 30.6%. In multivariate analyses, the sex, age, BMI, stress and education were statistically strongly associated with most of musculoskeletal disease among adults. Conclusion: The results of this study suggest that musculoskeletal disease prevention and nursing intervention programs should be necessarily established and continuously managed in order to treat with the musculoskeletal disease.

To initialize and maintain self-organizing networks such as mobile ad hoc networks, address allocation protocol is essentially required. However, centralized approaches that pervasively used in traditional networks are not recommended in this kind of networks since they cannot handle with mobility efficiently. In addition, previous distributed approaches suffer from inefficiency with control overhead caused by duplicated address detection and management of available address pool. In this paper, we propose a new dynamic address allocation scheme, which is based on adaptive partition. An available address is managed in distributed way by multiple agents and partitioned adaptively according to current network environments. Finally, simulation results reveal that a proposed scheme is superior to previous approach in term of address acquisition delay under diverse simulation scenarios.
In Korea, the rental apartments for low-income bracket have greatly been built and are being built now. But their management system is quite unstable and the residents' participation in the management is excluded throughly from the beginning. As a result, there are increasing complaints about their low quality of management as well as a self-righteous managerial behavior by the housing company. Therefore, it is required to be managed by residents in the rental apartmenr and especially the organization of management, such as decision making-executing-audition body, should be operated by the residents. To achieve this purpose, the management law should be consolidated into one and the method o imposing the expenses of repairing and maintenance should be improved by The Ministry of Construction and Transportation.

In this paper, new and simple optical transmission link with fixed dispersion management (DM) scheme, i.e., pre(post) compensation and residual dispersion per span (RDPS) are fixed to net residual dispersion (NRD) = 0 ps/nm, and optical phase conjugator (OPC) having optimal position depending on launch power in WDM transmission system is proposed. Also, effective launch power range of WDM channels resulting 1 dB eye opening penalty (EOP) is induced as a function of OPC position. First, it is confirmed that, for applying DM into WDM transmission link fixed pre(post)compensation and RDPS, which are independence on exact system parameters except launch power, sufficiently are used in WDM links, but OPC with optimal position is needed for effective compensating impairments of WDM channels. And, it is confirmed that effective launch power is broader in case of RDPS = 100 ps/nm than in RDPS = 50 ps/nm. But, it is shown that the best OPC position offset is -0.6 km from a point of view of power window, which is defined as difference between maximum and minimum effective launch power.
The contaminatlon of soil and groundwater by leachate from impmperly managed landfills, or by cheiicals and gasoline leaked flu underground storage tanks has buou a serious urldwide environmental problei. Most of those contaminants are adsorptive and absorptive into soul, while they are hardly soluble in water. Thus, the rate of self purification is very slow, causing persistent problems in water use and environmental protection when the contamination is left untreated. Biological remediatlon technologies utilize the ertraordlnary caperbllity of microorganisms In degrading a tilde spectrum of organic compounds. Among them, an in situ bioremediation technology Involves injection of supplementary materials into the subsurfce in order to bring about a significant Increase in the microbial activity. The Increased microbial activity helps remove the pollutants in situ, that is, without digging out contaminants, soil, or water. This paper focused on the features, possibilities, and limitations of the bioremedition technology.
The purpose of this research is to describe the experiences of transfer students in nursing colleges. This study was based on the qualitative content analysis. To collect qualitative data, 10 personal interviews were conducted from June 2013 to September 2014. Five sub-themes emerged from the data as follows: Participants started new challenge with self-confidence; Nursing science was difficult and unfamiliar disciplines to them; Firstly, they had no place in nursing department, but got places of their own over time; They managed to hold their own in confronting with difficulties; They consequently made personal upgrades in their life. The results of this study could guide nursing faculties to understand what kind of burdens transfer students experienced, how they had adapted to them, and how to support them to realize their full potential to grow into competent nurses.
