Trichoderma harzianum SJG-99721의 체외 분비 chitinase 생산에 미치는 생물 반응기에서의 반응 최적화 연구 (Optimization of Environmental Parameters for Extracellular Chitinase Production by Trichoderma harzianum SJG-99721 in Bioreactor)

  • Phytopathogenic fungi들에 대해 매우 공격적인 Trichoderma hurzianum은 다른 곰팡이들의 세포벽 주성분인 chitin을 분해하는 extracellualr chitinase를 분비하기 때문에 매우 효율적인 biocontrol agent로 사용할 수 있다. Trichoderma harzianum의 생물학적 제어 기능을 이용하기 위하여 extracellualr chitinase의 생산성을 높일 수 있는 batch모드에서의 적정 환경을 찾는 일은 매우 복잡하다. 이러한 문제를 해결할 수 있는 방법이 바로 self-directing optimization이다 이 방법을 이용하여 실험한 결과 6∼7차례의 실험만으로 최적의 온도 혹은 pH 및 폭기율과 교반양을 구할 수 있었다. 그 결과 온도 $32^{\circ}C$, pH4.9, 폭기율 3.22 ι, 교반율 225 rpm에서 chitinase의 최대 생산량 16.825 U를 나타내었다. 이는 온도 $25^{\circ}C$, pH 5, 폭기율 1l, 교반율 150 rpm에서 나타난 chitinase 생산량 4.221 U에 비교하면 3.99배 증가한 효과를 나타내고 있다. 이로서 self-directing optimization방법을 통한 최적화 기술이 효소 생산 기술에 있어 그 최적화 과정을 단축시키고 최종 과정에 도달하는 새로운 기술로 적용할 수 있음을 알 수 있었다.

  • A number of organizations have had big interests in studies concerning leadership and in academic areas, in not only management but also psychology. Until now, leadership has been accentuated by managers or team leaders especially. Recently, however, the concept of self-leadership directing one's own activities through self-control or self-management is being focused on in practices and in academia. This study is to investigate the influence between self-leadership strategies and learning performance in IT classes mediated by attitude of attendance focused on the social science students in two universities (Korea (121 samples) and India (106 samples)). And this research tried to compare difference between two university students. Research results can give us direction of task-taking attitudes in firms or learning attitudes in teaching organizations and implications to human resource managers who are in charge of improving learning performance or productivity.

Response of self-centering braced frame to near-field pulse-like ground motions

  • A low damage self-centering braced frame equipped with post-tensioning strands is capable of directing damage to replaceable butterfly-shaped fuses. This paper investigates the seismic performance of rocking braced frame under near-field pulse-like ground motions compared to far-field records. A non-linear time history analysis is performed for twelve self-centering archetypes. A sensitivity analysis is carried out to examine the influences of ground motion types and modeling parameters. Findings represent the proper efficiency of the self-centering system under both far-field and near-field pulse-like ground motions.

  • 이 글의 목적은 미국 할리우드의 청년감독 데이미언 샤젤(Damien Sayre Chazelle)의 작품세계를 분석하고 영화미학적 특징과 사회맥락적 의미를 규명하는데 있다. 샤젤 감독은 지금까지 <위플래쉬(Whiplash)>(2014), <라라랜드(La La Land)>(2016), <퍼스트맨(First Man)>(2018)을 연출하였으며, 미국 할리우드를 대표하는 청년감독으로 자리잡고 있다. 이 글에서는 '작가주의' 연구방법론을 도입하여 샤젤 감독의 전체 작품을 심층분석하였다. 이 연구를 통해, 샤젤 감독은 '서사구조: 성공신화의 변주', '독창적인 미장센의 반복: 샤젤 월드(Chazelle World)', '자기반영성의 주제: 작가의식'이라는 공통점을 가진 '자기반영적 작가주의 청년감독'임을 확인할 수 있었다. 샤젤 감독은 창의적인 '자기반영적 작가주의 연출'로 할리우드의 관습에 새로운 활력을 불어넣고 있으며, 미국 청년세대의 욕망이 담긴 뉴 할리우드 청년영화(New Hollywood Youth Cinema) 시대를 열어가는 청년감독이라는 점에서 영화사적 의의가 있다.

  • Electrical resistivity, self-potential and time-domain induced polarization methods were conducted for study of electrical responses on vein-type sulfides ore, which is intruding limestone and dolomite of Ordovician, of Geumpung mine located in Dojeon-ri, Susan-myeon, Jecheon-si, Chungbuk. Sulfides bearing chalcopyrite, pyrrhotite and galena etc. are deposited in disseminated or vein-type. Good result that resistivity and self-potential surveys detect high grade-estimated mineralized zone located in upper part of existing low grade ore zone is acquisited and is to some extent consistent with induced polarization. Furthmore, a new mineralization zone directing EW is detected.

  • The branch-like, feather-like $BaCrO_4$ nano-superstructures were synthesized with bioactive eggshell membrane as directing and assembly template. Studies on the two products revealed that they formed through the self-assembly of nanoparticles, and that the optical properties of the products were different from $BaCrO_4$ bulk materials.

플립러닝이 학습방법과 플립러닝에 영향을 미치는 요인 (Factors Affecting Learning Methods and Flipped Learning by Flipped Learning)

  • 본 연구는 플립러닝이 각 학습 영역에 기여하는 정도를 순위로 살펴보고, 반대로 이러한 학습방법이 플립러닝에 얼마나 효과적으로 사용되는지 양적으로 살펴보기 위해, 컴퓨터 전공자들을 대상으로 플립러닝을 받게 하였다. 기존의 플립러닝 실험은 효과성을 검증한 연구가 있는 반면 효과성에 부정적인 결과도 있어, 많은 논쟁이 되고 있다. 따라서 효과적인 실험과 수업을 위해서는 플립러닝에 대한 더 많은 연구와 정확한 이해가 필요하다. 모집된 123개의 표본을 분석한 결과 플립러닝이 학습에 기여하는 순위는 자기주도학습, 협력학습, 동영상 시청, 교수에 의한 학습 순이며, 학습방법이 플립러닝 효과성에 영향을 주는 정도를 회귀분석한 결과 자기주도학습, 강의동영상, 협력학습이 순으로 영향을 주었다. 이는 플립러닝이 자기주도학습에 가장 큰 영향력을 줄 뿐 아니라, 자기주도학습이 플립러닝에 가장 큰 영향력을 주고 있음을 알 수 있다. 또한 협력학습과 선행학습 도구인 동영상의 역할도 중요함을 알 수 있다. 본 연구 통해 플립러닝을 정확히 이해하고 학습방법과 성취목표를 설정하길 기대한다. 향후 본 연구의 연장으로 플립러닝과 세분화된 교실활동의 상호작용을 분석할 예정이다.

포트폴리오 과정 및 평가에 대한 학생의 만족도조사 (A Survey of Student Satisfaction with a Portfolio Process and Assessment)

  • The purposes of this study were to identify and analyze students' attitudes and satisfaction to the portfolio process and assessment for the Introduction to Clinical Medicine course at Ewha Womans University School of Medicine in Seoul, Korea. The subjects consisted of 64 medical school students. Questionnaires consisting of 20 5-point Likert-type items were developed, including three question domains: 1) orientation, 2) portfolios in general, 3) individualized feedback. The mean and median were found and frequency analysis was performed to identify the common characteristics of the participants. A major finding was that 54.7% of the respondents felt that the self-reflection involved in building the portfolio was a valuable learning experience. Plus, the majority of respondents perceived that the individualized feedback had a positive tone and its contents were specific, practical, and constructive. The students perceived that building and writing portfolios heightened their understanding of exit learning outcomes and enhanced their reflective thinking and self-directed learning skills. Meanwhile, some students perceived that there was too much paperwork in the portfolio process and that the process was time consuming. Furthermore, 32.8% of the respondents said that they had difficulty establishing their learning strategies by themselves and self-directing their learning during the portfolio process. In conclusion, it is expected that building a portfolio can help students not only to enhance their ability to accumulate and use their personal learning resources but also to develop the professional qualities required by doctors, such as self-directed learning, self-reflection, lifelong learning, team work, organizational skills, time management and prioritization, and professional thinking and behavior.

Preparation and Optical Characterization of Mesoporous Silica Films with Different Pore Sizes

  • Mesoporous silica films with three different pore sizes were prepared by using cationic surfactant, non-ionic surfactant, or triblock copolymer as structure directing agents with tetramethylorthosilicate as silica source in order to control the pore size and wall thickness. They were synthesized by an evaporation-induced self-assembly process and spin-coated on Si wafer. Mesoporous silica films with three different pore sizes of 2.9, 4.6, and 6.6 nm and wall thickness ranging from $\sim$1 to $\sim$3 nm were prepared by using three different surfactants. These materials were optically transparent mesoporous silica films and crack free when thickness was less than 1 m m. The photoluminescence spectra found in the visible range were peaked at higher energy for smaller pore and thinner wall sized materials, consistent with the quantum confinement effect within the nano-sized walls of the silica pores.
