신규간호사의 직무 스트레스, 자아존중감, 회복탄력성이 현장적응에 미치는 영향 (The Influence of Job Stress, Self-Esteem, and Resilience on the Field Adaptation in Newly Graduated Nurses)

  • Purpose: This study aims to determine the relation among job stress, self-esteem, resilience, and field adaptation of the newly graduated nurses, through which an effective mediation strategy toward field adaptation and basic data on improving nursing quality can be established. Methods: The subjects were 110 newly graduated nurses who have worked at a tertiary hospital and a general hospital for less than 12 months. The data were collected, using self-reported questionnaires, from July 9 to July 31, 2018, and were analyzed by descriptive statistics, t-test, one-way ANOVA, $Scheff{\acute{e}}$ test, Pearson's correlation coefficient and stepwise multiple regression using an SPSS/WIN 24.0 program. Results: The study result showed that the newly graduated nurses' job stress, resilience, job satisfaction, and desired department influenced their field adaptation, explaining 60.2% of the variance in the field adaptation (F=42.14, p<.001). The nurses' job stress had the biggest influence on their field adaptation, explaining 38.7% of the variance. Conclusion: Human resource management strategy considering those influencing factors may improve the filed adaptation of newly graduated nurses and help them to retain in their work field.

북한이탈주민의 자기효능감이 남한사회문화적응에 미치는 영향: 경제적 적응의 조절효과를 중심으로 (The Self-efficacy of North Korean defectors The Influence of the Adaptation to Social and Cultural Adjustment in South Korea: A Study on the Moderating Effect of Economic Adaptation)

  • 본 연구는 북한이탈주민의 자기효능감이 그들의 남한사회문화적응에 어떤 영향을 미치는지 살펴보았다. 이를 위하여 인천, 서울, 안산, 원주에 거주하는 북한이탈주민 209명을 대상으로 설문조사하였다. 연구결과 북한이탈주민은 남한사회에서 거주기간이 길어질수록, 연령이 낮아질수록 남한사회에 대한 언어나 문화적인 측면에서 이질감이 낮게 나타났다. 반면, 나이나 거주기간이 탈북이주민의 낮은 사회적 지위에 대한 지각, 차별감 및 편견을 극복하는데 사회적응에 영향을 미치지 못하는 것으로 나타났다. 즉 북한이탈주민은 남한에 오랜 기간 거주해도 그들에 대한 차별감이나 편견을 극복하지 못하며 대부분 살아가고 있음을 알 수 있었다. 북한이탈주민이 남한사회에서 사회문화적응에 가장 높은 영향을 미치는 요인은 개인의 내적요인인 자기효능감임이 밝혀졌다. 이 자기효능감은 남한사회에서 사회문화적응뿐만 아니라 경제적 적응을 하기 위해 필요한 자신의 능력과 업무에 대한 유능감에 영향을 주어 그들이 사회현장에서 자신감을 가지고 생활하게 하며 이밖에 외부의 다양한 스트레스를 극복해 가면서 나아갈 수 있도록 작용하고 있음이 검증되었다.

일부 여자 중학생의 자아개념 및 스트레스와 적응행동에 관한 연구 (A Study on Self-Concept, Stress and Adaptation Beharior of Junior School Girls)

  • The recent problems of adolescents are leading us to amphasize school mental health program. Therefore, for the first step of that program, this study was attempted to find out the students' daily life stress, their adaptation beharior to resolve that stress, and their self-concept which has an effect on that beharior, to analyze the relationship among those three variables, and to provide basic data which help maintain and promote students' adaptability and mental health. The subjects were 4 classes each grade, 743 students who were chosen as a sample subject among the total of 3,250 students of a junior girls' school in Seoul by stratified sampling method. The Oquestionnair surrey was done from April 1, 1985 to April 6, 1985. The instruments were (1) a part of Junghoon chois' perceptual Orientation Scale for measuring self-perception of students, (2) Rosenberg's Questionnair for measuring students' evaluation of self-esteem, (3) modified Bell's Adoptive Behavior Questionnair, and (4) the Measuring scale for stress developed by the investigator. The collected data were analyzed by using descriptive statistics, x²-test, t-test, ANOVA, and Pearsons' Correlation. The results are summarized as follows: 1. The range of mean score of self-concept, stress, and adaptation beharior is 1-5 respectively. The mean score of self concept was 3.45. The mean score of stress was 2.53, and the degree of stress was in order of the problem of study and grade marks, girl friend, appearance, and relaxation. The subjects preferred effective long-term adaptation method (Mean=2.81) to ineffective short-term adaptation method. (Mean=2.47) 2. The self-concept had the highest degree when students were 1st grade, in good health condition, taking high grade marks, both parents existing, fathers' educational level being above college, and being in high economic status. The degree of stress was significantly high when students were 3rd grade, in poor health condition, having low grade marks, being in poor economic status, and fathers' educational level being under elimentary school. In relation with adaptation method, 1st grade students used more sbort-term and long-term method, and when students had high grade marks, being in high economic status. they used more long-term adaptation behavior. 3. Two Hypotheses of this research were tested: Hypothesis 1. "The higher the students' self-concept is, the more they use long-term adaptation method." was accepted. (r=.2482, p<.01) (t=-4.99, p<.001) Hypothesis 2. "The higher the students' stress is, the more they use short-term adaptation method." was accepted. (r=.2897, p<.01) (t= -7.51, p<.001) In conclusion, a person in charge of school health can help students to adapt effectively by planning and implementing methods which highten their self-concept and lower their stress. But because the correlation among self-concept, stress and adaptation behavior was at a low level, I think that the study, which confirm the relationship of those three variables, is needed.

청소년의 내현적 자기애가 학교생활적응에 미치는 영향: 사회불안과 학업적 자기효능감의 매개효과 (The Relationship Between Covert Narcissism and School Life Adaptation in Adolescents : The Mediating Effects of Social Anxiety and Academic Self-Efficacy)

  • 본 연구는 청소년의 내현적 자기애 성향과 학교생활적응의 관계에서 사회불안과 학업적 자기효능감의 매개효과를 검증하기 위해 수행되었다. 연구 대상자는 중 고등학교에 재학 중인 청소년 423명이었다. 연구결과, 첫째, 내현적 자기애 성향은 학교생활적응과 유의한 부적상관이(r=-.51, p<.01) 있었으며 내현적 자기애는 사회불안과 유의한 정적상관이(r=.70, p<.01), 학업적 자기효능감과는 유의한 부적상관이(r=-.39, p<.01) 있었다. 사회불안은 학교생활적응과 유의한 부적상관이(r=-.50, p<.01), 학업적 자기효능감은 학교생활적응과 유의한 정적상관이(r=.63, p<.01) 있었으며 사회불안은 학업적 자기효능감과 유의한 부적상관이(r=-.51, p<.01) 있는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 사회불안과 학업적 자기효능감의 매개효과를 검증한 결과, 학업적 자기효능감이 내현적 자기애와 학교생활적응의 관계에서 매개효과를 가졌으며(${\beta}=.41$, p<.001) 사회불안은 학교생활적응에 매개효과를 가지지 않는 것으로 나타났다(${\beta}=-.05$, p<.001). 본 연구 결과는 내현적 자기애 성향의 청소년이 학교생활적응에 어려움을 겪는 경우 학업적 자기효능감, 특히 자기조절 효능감과 자신감을 높여주는 것이 학교생활적응에 도움을 줄 수 있음을 시사한다.

한부모가족 자녀의 학교생활적응 : 개인자원, 가족자원, 발달환경자원을 중심으로 (Adaptation of a single parent's child to school life: Focusing on individual resources, family resources and developed environmental resources)

  • The purpose of this research is to determine how effective individual resources, family resources and developed environmental resources are in assisting the adaptation of a single parent's child to school life. The subjects were 284 first-year middle-school students with a single parent who were included in the first year of the Korean Children and Youth Research Panel 2010 data. The data were statistically processed using SPSS 18.0software. The results were as follows. First, the research participants' adaptation to school life, self-esteem, self-resilience, and peer relations were all shown to have an average of higher than 2 on a 4-point scale. Positive perceptions of parenting attitudes were 2.87, and negative perceptions 2.38. Computer usage was high, scoring 2.42, but mobile phone usage was average, at 2.02. Of the participants, 83.8% did not participate in a club or extracurricular activity. Second, self-esteem, self-resilience, peer relations, and positive parenting attitudes were correlated positively with adaptation to school life, but relying on a mobile phone was correlated negatively. Third, regarding the consequences of the relative effectiveness of the variables for adaptation to school life, as self-esteem, self-elasticity, and positive perceptions of parenting attitudes increased, Adaptation of a single parent's child to school life was more successful. Additionally, as annual family income and reliance on mobile phones increased, students' adaptation to school was less successful.

치위생과 학생의 자기효능감 수준에 따른 스트레스 요인의 적응방법에 관한 연구 (A study on the relationship of self-efficacy to stressors and stress adaptation in dental hygiene students)

  • Objectives : The purpose of this study was to examine the relationship of the self-efficacy of dental hygiene students to their stressors and ways of stress-adaptation patterns. Methods : The subjects in this study were dental hygiene juniors in four selected colleges located in the metropolitan area. Results : 1. They got a mean of 3.22 in self-efficacy. They gave the highest mark(3.50) to an item 'I can attain it if I set a primary goal.' 2. They got a mean of 3.18 in stressors. Among the stressors, task assignments(3.74) were identified as the greatest stressor, followed by the curriculum(3.25), learning environments(3.16), prospects of employment (3.07) and test anxiety(2.95). 3. They got a mean of 2.02 in stress-adaptation method. They got 2.31 and 1.72 in long-term and short-term adaptation respectively, which showed that long-term stress adaptation method were more prevailing than short-term ones. 4. As a result of analyzing whether there would be any gaps in self-efficacy according to general characteristics, statistically significant gaps were found in that regard according to experience of preparing for college admission after leaving high school, academic standing, satisfaction with the department of dental hygiene and prospects of employment(p<.05). 5. As a result of checking the relationship of their self-efficacy to their stressors and ways of stress adaptation method, there were statistically significant differences in that aspect according to examinations and prospect of employment(p<0.05). As for ways of stress adaptation method, there were statistically significant differences in long-term adaptation method (p<0.05). Conclusions : As it's found that the level of the self-efficacy of the dental hygiene students was linked to the efficiency of their ways of stress adaptation method, the development and implementation of programs geared toward boosting the self-efficacy of dental hygiene students are required to teach them to successfully cope with various kinds of stress that they are likely to face after getting a job.

자기효능 증진 프로그램이 결장루 형성술 환자의 자기효능, 자가 간호 행위 및 심리사회적 적응에 미치는 효과 (Effects of Self Efficacy Promoting Programs on Self Efficacy, Self Care Behavior and Psychosocial Adaptation in Patients with a Colostomy)

  • Purpose: This study was conducted to investigate the effects of self-efficacy promoting program on self-efficacy, self-care behavior and psychosocial adaptation in patients with a colostomy. Method: A non-equivalent control group pre test post test design was used. The self efficacy promoting programs was composed of a CD image program based on varicaious experience, education and telephone coaching program based on verbal persuasion, and Stoma care practice, and Self care performance based on performance accomplishment. This study was carried out from July 2, 2005 to April 20, 2006 and 21 patients with a colostomy at one of 2 hospitals participated. Descriptive statistics, ${\chi}^2-test$, and Mann-whitney U test were used to analyze the data. Results: There were significantly different for specific self efficacy, self care and psychosocial adaptation between the experimental group and control group. Conclusion: The self efficacy promoting program for patients with stomas was effective in improving degree of specific self efficacy, self care and psychosocial adaptation.

간호대학 신입생의 학업적 자기효능감과 전공 만족도가 대학생활 적응에 미치는 영향 (Influence of Academic Self-Efficacy and Department Satisfaction on College Life Adaptation of Nursing Freshman)

  • 본 연구는 간호대학 신입생의 대학생활 적응, 학업적 자기효능감 및 전공 만족도 정도를 파악하고 각 변수들 간의 상관성 및 영향 요인을 파악하고자 하는 조사연구였다. 대상자는 일개 간호대학의 1학년 총 345명을 2015년 11월 30일부터 12월 4일까지 조사하였다. 대학생활 적응의 전체 평균평점은 $2.91({\pm}0.52)$점, 학업적 자기효능감은 $2.79({\pm}0.60)$점, 전공 만족도는 $3.55({\pm}0.47)$점이었다. 대학생활 적응은 남학생 군(p=.004), 입학동기가 높은 연봉 군(p=.027), 교우 관계에 매우 만족군(p<.001), 성적은 평점이 4.1이상 군(p=.005)에서, 학업적 자기효능감은 남학생 군(p=.040), 입학동기가 해외진출 군(p=.047), 향후 진로가 보건교사 군(p=.015), 교우 관계에 매우 만족 군(p=.014), 성적이 4.1이상 군(p<.001)에서, 전공만족도는 입학 동기가 높은 연봉 군(p=.004), 교우 관계에 매우 만족 군(p<.001), 성적이 4.1이상 군(p=.002)에서 통계적으로 차이가 있었다. 대학생활 적응은 학업적 자기효능감(p<.001), 전공 만족도(p<.001)와 학업적 자기효능감은 전공 만족도(p<.001)와 유의한 정적 상관관계를 나타냈다. 또한 전공 만족도가 대학생활 적응에 큰 영향력을 주는 것으로 나타났고 이러한 설명력은 23.1%였다. 결론적으로, 간호대학 신입생의 대학생활 적응은 학업적 자기효능감, 전공 만족도와 관련이 있는 것으로 나타났으며, 간호대학 신입생의 대학생활 적응을 증진시키기 위해서는 학업적 자기효능감과 전공 만족도를 증진시킬 수 있는 교육 프로그램과 제도적인 접근전략의 개발과 반복 연구가 이루어져야 할 것이다.

간호대학생의 대학생활 적응 영향요인 (Factors Influencing the Adaptation to the College Life of Nursing Students)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to determine the degree of undergraduate nursing student adaptation to college life and investigate the factors that influenced that adaptation. Methods: First-year (undergraduate) students attending three nursing colleges were surveyed from November 24 through December 5, 2014; and data from 206 respondents were analyzed. For data analysis, multiple regression analysis was performed using the SPSS WIN 18.0 program. Results: The findings showed that age (p=.002), emotional intelligence (p<.001), and self-efficacy (p<.001) were significant variables that influenced first-year undergraduate nursing student adaptation to college life. Undergraduate nursing student adaptation was explained by self-efficacy (${\beta}=.327$, p<.001), emotional intelligence (${\beta}=.222$, p=.001), satisfaction with education in their academic major (${\beta}=-.217$, p<.001), and academic achievement (${\beta}=.136$, p=.018); and, the explanatory power of these variables was 41.2%. Conclusion: To facilitate undergraduate nursing student adaptation to college life prior to clinical practice, developing and apply programs to improve self-efficacy, emotional intelligence, satisfaction with education in their major, and academic achievement is deemed necessary.

류마티스 관절염 환자의 질병 기간에 따른 대처 유형과 적응과의 관계 (Effects of Coping on Physical and Psychosocial Adaptation by Illness Duration in Patients with Rheumatoid Arthritis)

  • The effects of coping on physical and psychosocial adaptation in the 297 patients with rheumatoid arthritis were investigated. The coping methods were divided into compliance of medical regimens, self-control activities, and cognitive control. The effects of these coping methods was analyzed with stepwise regression. The physical adaptation is found to be significantly affected by cognitive control, self-control activities, and compliance of medical regimens in order Compliance of the medical regimens affects negatively the physical adaptation. And psychosocial adaptation is significantly affected by the cognitive control. The analysis of these results by illness duration showed the distinct differences. That is in the patients who experienced the disease less than 48 months, the physical and the psychosocial adaptation were significantly affected only by the cognitive control. But in the patients who experienced the disease more than 96 months, the physical and the psychosocial adaptation were significantly affected by self-control activities. Based upon these results, it is recommended that the nurses who care the newly diagnosed patients emphasize on the positive side of the state. And the patients who are diagnosed long ago need the nursing programs which teach and promote self-control activities. Also it is suggested that the results of compliance must be considered rather than as the result variable.
