The phenomena of energy separation in vortex tubes was investigated experimentally to see the subsidiary effect of the conductivity of tube material and cooling conditions around the outer surface of the tube. The experiment was carried out with pyrex, stainless steel and copper tubes, and the heat transfer conditions of the tubes were with insulation, without in-sulation and water cooling modes respectively The results were obtained that the hot exit fluid temperature was highly affected by a change of conductivity of a tube when the outer surface was cooled by the water, while the working fluid through the tubes was air. How-ever, the cold exit temperature was little affected by the heat transfer modes on the outer surface of the vortex tube.

The purpose of this study are to obtain basic materials that can be fulfil effective using of space by consider living behavior and attitude, a furniture usage and a space usage according to the usage of bed in An-Bang. It also suggests a plan about a method of furniture usage that is reflected resident’s living behavior and attitude, desire, consciousness through the space evaluation. The major findings of this study can be summarized as follow : 1, The case of husband’s age was less than 47, and the educational level of husband and wife was above a university graduate, the percentage of possession of bed was high. 2. According to the usage of bed, this study showed difference of furniture usage, and that of life action. 3. According to the usage of bed, there were significant differences in the luxury by result of the space evaluation. 4. Also, there were significant differences in a satisfaction of atmosphere, and an area by satisfaction of furniture usage. 5. According to the usage of bed, the influence of each independent variable appeared differently by result of regression analysis to see the space evaluation effect on space satisfaction.

The phenomena of memory have been shown to come out early in life and to develop drastically for early childhood. Therefore, the purpose of this study were examine the development of memory of Korean children and also to see the memory span of Korean children. the subjects in this study were 80 children (male and female each 40 children) from age 3 to age 6. These subjects were devide into two age groups (3~4 age, 5~6 age). the stimulus materials were the numbers and the words. The numbers in this study were chosen from the number problems of WISC. The 42 words which consisted of two phonemes were selected. The number of items was 3 to 9 on the first through the last trial. altogether 14 trials, 7 trials for numbers and 7 trials for words, were given to each subject. Free recall method was sued. The following conclusions could be made. 1. The memory span of Korean early childhood increased as the age of the children increased. 2. The primacy effect was appeared when the age increased. Therefore, rehearsal was appeared as the age of the Korean early childhood increased.

Myun Bok originated in China was introduced into Korea in ancient times. Some evidences show that it had settlled down as our own official robe already under Koryo Dynasty. And Koryo made her own regulations on Myun Bok. Kook Cho O Rye Eui(國朝五禮儀) of Choson Dynasty has comparatively detailed explanations on the way of cutting and shapes and materials. And the regulations are modeled after those of Ming China. But it has been impossible to know whether the regulations of Kook Cho O Rye Eui were strictly kept or not, because we have not enough remains through which to see it. And then we got very useful materials, Eui kue(儀軌), which are well known but have not been used in studying the history of costumes. Every Kook Chang Do Gam Eui Gue(國葬都監儀軌) have the provision of the so-called Pok Wan(服玩) set which includes the imitations or the full set of Myun Bok. And the provisions show us the illustrations colored in detail which help us understand the real shapes and the transformations of Myun Bok. After surveying the Pok wan provisions, author arrived at conclusions as follow; 1) Myun Boks are not always made in the same shape and colors. 2) The Provisions of Kook Cho O Rye Eui were not always kept strictly due to the lack of detailed directions.

이 논문은 조선시대 과거급제자 명단인 방목의 디지털화 작업이 한 개인의 사회적 배경과 혈통에 대한 정보를 알려주는 것을 뛰어넘어, 양반 사이의 다양한 관계망을 파악하는 자료로서 어떻게 이용할 수 있는지를 보여주는 것이다. 디지털 인문학에서 조선시대 과거 합격자의 명단인 방목은 대단히 흥미로운 자료다. 이 자료를 기반으로 조선시대 사회상을 엿볼 수 있다. 한국학중앙연구원은 방목의 각종 데이터를 XML 문서로 만들어 데이터베이스를 구축 운영하고 있어, 필요한 항목을 추출하고 다양한 통계 자료를 만들 수 있다. 또 방목 데이터와 족보 데이터를 연결한다면 혼인 관계와 지역 연고, 당파 등 한 개인과 지역 사회에 대한 중층적인 스토리텔링을 구현할 수도 있다. 이미 한국학중앙연구원에서는 2005년부터 현재까지 문과방목 무과방목 사마방목 잡과방목의 디지털화를 완료하였다. 이 작업의 결과는 현재 '한국역대인물 종합정보시스템'에서 이용할 수 있다. 조선시대 다양한 과거급제자의 명단을 망라한 이 작업으로 조선시대 지배엘리트로부터 전문직 중인의 명단을 확보할 수 있게 되었다. 그럼에도 아직 이 작업결과를 통해 의미 있는 활용들이 일어나지 못하고 있다. 이 논문은 낱낱이 흩어져 있는 개인 정보들을 디지털 인문학이라는 학문적 접근을 통해 개인의 생애와 그 개인이 몸담은 사회의 심층을 들여다보는 창구로서 어떻게 활용할 수 있는지를 제시하고자 한다. 그래프 데이터베이스에 방목 데이터를 입력하면 급제자가 노드(node)가 되고 각 노드간 친족 관계와 혼인 관계를 시각적으로 살펴 볼 수 있다. 급제자들 상호 간의 인적 관계뿐만 아니라 여기에 족보 데이터를 추가하면 다양한 혼인 관계를 바탕으로 조선시대 문벌 가문의 단초를 한 눈에 알 수 있다.

This study analyzed the factors of change of women's underwear in the Renaissance, which had a sudden change of shape. First, the spirit of the Renaissance was focused on human-attached importance to glamorous beauty of the body and pursued the glamorous well-proportioned figure as the ideal of the human body. This expressed a woman's beautiful curved lines by reduction of their waist size and emphasis of breast and hip lines. It also created and emphasized one's physical figure, which is a characteristic of sex. Also the materials and size of underwear cleared up the classification of class. Second, through the development of weaving techniques, more textiles were produced, from linen, the most common material used, to silk in underwear and stomacher, and chemise, which was made more splendid be devising elaborate embroidery techniques. Third, as we know that the farthingale was devised in Spain and transmitted to France because of the prevalence of printing and trade, where it changed and developed to more convenient style, this shows that information interchange was active, and we can see the phenomenon that it is developing continually through the prevalence of printing and trade.

In mathematics education, teaching-learning activity can be divided largely into the understanding the mathematical concepts, derivation of principles and laws acquirement of the mathematical abilities. We utilize various media, teaching tools, audio-visual materials, manufacturing materials for understanding mathematical concepts. But sometimes we cannot define or explain correctly the concepts as well as the derivation of principles and laws by these materials. In order to solve the problem we can use the computer. In this paper, ′the process of the length of curve being equal to the sum of the vectors when intervals get smaller′ and ′the process of calculating volume of spinning curve by using definite integral.′ Using the computers is more visible than other educational instruments like blackboards, O.H.Ps., etc. Also it can help students with solving mathematical problems intuitively. Consequently more effective teaching-learning activity can be done. Usage of computers is the best method for improving the mathematical abilities because computers have functions of the immediate reaction, operation, reference and deduction. One of the important characters of mathematics is accuracy, so we use computers for improving mathematical abilities. This paper is about the program focused on the part of "the application of definite integral", which exists in mathematical curriculum the second and third grade of high school. When this study is used for students as assisting materials, it is expected the following educational effect. 1. Students will have precise concepts because they can understand what they learn intuitively. 2. Students will have positive thought by arousing interests of learning because this program is composed of pictures, animations with effectiveness of sound. 3. It is possible to change the teacher-centered instruction into the student-centered instruction. 4. Students will understand the relation between velocity and distance correctly because they can see the process of getting the length of curve by vector through the monitor. For the purpose of increasing the efficiencies and qualities of mathematics education, we have to seek the various learning-teaching methods. But considering that no computer can replace the teacher′s role, teachers have to use the CIA program carefully.

Recently, Korea has been making efforts at the government level to overcome the national crisis that Japan's dependency on technology in the semiconductor and display materials sectors has also escaped due to export regulations on three materials carried out by Japan. Therefore, based on the data of the National Science & Technology Information Service (NTIS) operated by the government, we analyze the trend of R & D investment in the display field, thereby improving R & D to improve material technology competitiveness in the future. Let's examine the implications of investment. A total of 5 years of new research and development investment in the field of display was invested as basic research fund for 25%, 15% for applied research, and 53% for development research. In terms of development cost and development period, the basic research showed that the amount of money and the development period were shorter than that of applied research. In other words, the basic research accounted for 25% of the R & D investment and the average R & D period was only 3.2 years. As we can see from the recent development of H fiber carbon fiber, which was recently developed and entered full-scale production, we were able to succeed because of the benefits of government support for 10 years while giving the same material title differently. In order to escape from Japan's technological dependence on semiconductor and display materials in Korea, As such, basic research in the field of materials is only possible when long-term research is conducted.

The purpose of this study was to identify factors that influenced elementary school teachers in choosing websites that support science teaching and learning. The participants of this study were four elementary school teachers. The data was collected through semi-constructed and in-depth interview. The results of the research are as follows: First, the individual factors that influenced participants to choose a website were teacher's thinking about appropriate science teaching and learning methods and teacher's lack of ability to prepare science lessons. Second, the surroundings factors were the image of the teachers using the website, the formation of consensus, belonging to the peer teachers, and students' preferences and interests. Third, participants chose a website where they could provide ideas for science lessons that are not available in textbooks and instructional materials for all subjects, and see stories and tips related to teaching career. In addition, the website was selected according to whether the developer of science instructional materials was a teacher, whether the materials uploaded on the website were up-to-date, and whether the teachers can learn by themselves to prepare for the science class. Fourth, participants considered the design and interactivity of the website and chose a website that is easy to search for information. Finally, we suggested the implications for building the websites that support science teaching and learning.

The purpose of this thesis is to study the social and cultural background and characteristic of neo-classicism which appered in the modern fashion of the pluralistic society of the latter half of 20th century to understand that the product of societh such as fashion mode reflects the situation of society and culture. For this purpose, documentary studies about the concept and background of neo-classicism, were preceded, and analyzed the occurrence background and characteristic of neo-classicism of the modern fashion after the 1980's, which showed up in post-modernism fashion. The characteristics of neo-classicism expressed in modern fashion is as follows; First, they are expressed in modern fashion in forms of simplicity by means of minimizing process of sewing or ornamenting and deletion of dart. Second, retro-style in terms of concerning of the past, is featured in various styles of Greco-roman drapery and expresed in forms of mixing clothing elements of modern and classic in modern times. Third, the trend of ecology in terms of interest of the nature and the thought that the spiritual world is more important than the material world. It is expressed by using natural elements adn natural materials, which wanted to get the nature and human into one and search for the losed nature of modern men. Fourth, the pursuit of the beauty of the human body, is expressed in forms of body-prioity style through using see-through or elastic materials, which is knit, lycra, spandex, etc. In conclusion, we can recognize that the social product reflects social and cultural situation. And the characteristic of neo-classicism has the meaning of harmonizing the human and nature and the returing the humanity.
