A Study on Fashion Design by Application of Fashion Painting (패션페인팅(Fashion Painting)을 이용한 의상디자인 연구)

  • In modern society as people adapt to social and cultural changes, people prefer high-scarcity designed products rather than standardized ones. Consequently, this adaptation lays a foundation in art and cultural domains to express uniqueness and individuality. The purpose of this study is to develop fashion designs by fusing fashion painting and handicraft techniques through creative and various artistic expressions. The researchers studied the sociocultural background of modern handicraft fashion using document-based research methods. Based on the characteristics of modern handicraft, we produced six garments that applied fashion painting techniques. In this study, the origin of fashion painting was found in ornaments such as tattoo or body-painting. We determined that modern designers were using various fashion painting techniques and motives as unique and advanced ornamentary skills. Harmonizing various handicraft techniques(dyeing, embroidery, quilt, patchwork, beads, fashion painting, etc.) centered on fashion painting enabled creation of unique fashion design through varieties of artistic expressions.

  • As expensive and valuable metals being used in electronic and semiconducting industries are abandoned as industrial wastes after use of them, it is required to recover them from e-wasted electronics parts. Gold which is used for printed circuit boards or electronic equipments, accessories, etc., is one of e-Wasted materials and recently indium, gallium, zirconium, cobalt, molybdenum and lithium are bacome valuable metals to be recovered from the e-wastes. Since the amount of precious metals is now being faced with scarcity, lean too much on area and instability of supply, and industrial demands are rapidly increasing every year, it becomes more important to recover the valuable metals from the industrial wastes. In this review, we introduced technologies and research trend of the recovery processes of valuable metals from the e-wastes in high-tech devices over the world.

  • Many studies on predicting and recommending information and products have been studying to meet customers' preference. Unnecessary information should be removed to satisfy customers' needs in massive information. The some information filtering methods to remove unnecessary information have been suggested but these methods have scarcity and scalability problems. Therefore, this paper explores a personalized recommendation system based on artificial neural network (ANN) to solve these problems. The insurance product recommendation is adapted as an example to demonstrate the proposed method. The proposed recommendation system is expected to recommended a suitable and personalized insurance products for customers' satisfaction.

  • A case of hemifacial hyperplasia that presented with muscular, skeletal, and dental hyperplasia along with lipomatous infiltration was described. Advanced imaging was useful in identifying the lipomatous infiltration present in the lesion, which raises the possibility of lipomatosis having a diverse presentation in hemifacial hyperplasia. As there was a scarcity of related literature in the field of dentomaxillofacial radiology, this report would make us familiar with its computed tomographic and magnetic resonance image findings.

  • The growing complexity of modern technological systems requires more flexible and powerful reliability analysis tools. Existing tools encounter a number of limitations including lack of modeling power to address components interactions for complex systems and lack of flexibility in handling component failure distribution. We propose a reliability modeling framework based on the Bayesian network (BN). It can combine historical data with expert judgment to treat data scarcity. The proposed methodology is applied to wind turbines reliability analysis. The observed result shows that a BN based reliability modeling is a powerful potential solution to modeling and analyzing various kinds of system components behaviors and interactions. Moreover, BN provides performing several inference approaches such as smoothing, filtering, what-if analysis, and sensitivity analysis for considering system.

  • Underground space gives two benifits to us. First, it helps us to solve the land scarcity problem in urban city. Second it also helps us to manage the thermal properties of underground to keep cool in summer and warm in winter. How much it save energy depends on the ability to predict the exact temperature of the space. The purpose of this paper is to make a function predicting the temperature of underground space, analysing the 20 years measures of underground temperature kept in Korea Central Weather Burea.

  • The concept of seismic design was induced in our country which was poor in it for the scarcity of recognition and insufficiency of funds. Recently many specialists are enforcing the provisions of seismic design. But because seismic force of seismic design is very great and all the seismic force are concentrated on the fixed bearings and substructure the bearings are the seismic force are concentrated on the fixed bearings and substructure the bearings are destroyed so that seismic design lose its basic concept. In addition when the earthquake which exceeds seismic design force takes place the bridge is collapsed. For these reasons the developed seismic isolation design concept was appeared which diminishes seismic force itself by period shift and additional damping distributes it to each superstructures evenly. Therefore this study introduced the method which combines PC-LEADeR(design program for L.R.B) with SAP 2000(linear elastic analysis) and performs the seismic isolation design more elaborately and simply verified the propriety of that method and examined the force control of L. R. B.

Work/Family Role Conflicts and Coping Strategies of Employed Wives. (전문직 취업주부의 역할갈등과 갈등대처전략)

  • This research was designed to illuminate that work domains and family domains are not separated but interacting spheres and to suggest efficient coping strategies than alleviate work/family role conflicts. The subjects of this study were 395 employed professional wives living in Seoul. Korea. Survey methods were questionnaires. Data analysis strategies were percentile, frequency, one-way-anova and multiple classification analysis. The results were as follows; 1)Employed wives experienced time-based conflicts and strain-based role conflicts. This finding supports the scarcity approach that multiple roles inevitably create strain. 2) Individual, family and work-related variables were predictors of work/family role conflicts. This findings indicate that work domains and family domains cannot be regraded as separated spheres. 3) Employed wives tried to meet all the given roles demands not by reducing role responsibilities, but by increasing the efficiency of role performance. This finding reflects the characteristics of employed wives who try to perform successfully all the responsibilities. 4)The negative correlation of coping strategies and work/family role conflicts suggests that strategies can function effectively in alleviating the work/family role conflicts.

Bidding, Pricing, and User Subscription Dynamics in Asymmetric-Valued Korean LTE Spectrum Auction: A Hierarchical Dynamic Game Approach

  • The tremendous increase in mobile data traffic coupled with fierce competition in wireless industry brings about spectrum scarcity and bandwidth fragmentation. This inevitably results in asymmetric-valued long term evolution (LTE) spectrum allocation that stems from different timing for twice improvement in capacity between competing operators, given spectrum allocations today. This motivates us to study the economic effects of asymmetric-valued LTE spectrum allocation. In this paper, we formulate the interactions between operators and users as a hierarchical dynamic game framework, where two spiteful operators simultaneously make spectrum acquisition decisions in the upper-level first-price sealed-bid auction game, and dynamic pricing decisions in the lower-level differential game, taking into account user subscription dynamics. Using backward induction, we derive the equilibrium of the entire game under mild conditions. Through analytical and numerical results, we verify our studies by comparing the latest result of LTE spectrum auction in South Korea, which serves as the benchmark of asymmetric-valued LTE spectrum auction designs.

  • China has a very large area, but the total and average amount of forest resources are always relative scarcity, retrospect the forest history, when the activities of human beings existed on the earth, the forest resources began to reduce gradually, it indicates that the amount of the forest resources have grate connection with the activities of human beings, especially from the foundation of New China, long term out-of- order logging and unsustainable development make the forest resources and ecological environment be destructed seriously. However, although Chinese forest resources still face a large number of complicated problems, it has already begun to recover and been into the right orbit through listing and analysis a series dates.
