결혼해체를 경험한 여성의 소득수준 및 빈곤실태와 공.사적소득이전의 역할 (The Role of Public and Private Income Transfers to the Income Status of Women Who Experienced Marital Disruption)

  • 본 연구는 한국노동패널 자료를 이용하여 결혼해체를 경험한 여성의 소득수준 및 빈곤실태를 분석하고 이에 대한 공 사적소득이전의 역할을 고찰하였다. 주요한 결과는 첫째, 결혼해체유형에 따라 여성의 주요한 인구사회학적 특성이 유의하게 차이가 나며, 둘째, 소득수준 및 빈곤실태에서 별거 및 이혼여성의 소득수준이 사별여성에 비해 낮고, 빈곤실태는 두 집단이 유사하다는 것으로 조사되었다. 셋째, 가구소득 구성에 있어 결혼해체유형과 관계없이 근로소득이 가장 주요한 소득 원천이었으며 넷째, 소득이전의 빈곤감소효과는 사적소득이전이 결혼해체유형에 관계없이 가장 큰 것으로 나타났다. 다섯째, 로지스틱 회귀분석에서는, 사별여성의 빈곤지위에 관련이 있는 변수는 여성의 취업상태(상용직)와 공공부조의 소득이전인 것으로 나타났으나, 사회보험과 사적소득이전의 경우 여성의 빈곤지위와 관계가 없는 것으로 나타났다. 특히, 사회보험이 사별여성의 빈곤지위와 관계가 없다는 결과는 한국사회에서 사회보험이 소득보장의 역할을 수행할 정도로 충분히 성숙하지 못한데 기인하는 것으로 추정할 수 있을 것이다. 결론적으로, 본 연구를 통해 결혼해체유형에 따라 여성의 소득수준과 빈곤 실태가 상이하며, 이에 대한 공 사적소득이전의 역할 또한 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났다.

해난구조비의 보험보상에 관한 연구 (A study on Insurance Indemnity of Salvage award.)

  • Sea casualties may happen in ship, cargo and the others concerned with sea transportation. : the shipo-wer, marine insurer and salvage company have been endeavored to compensate salvage award with some rule and regulation such as Marine Insurance Act, York Antwerp Rules and Average adjustment rules. Once sea casualties happened, the salvage contract is established between the owners, marine insurance and salvage company, the contract are divided into so many kinds of them. In this paper, we have an analysis on the character of the salvage contract whether the characteristic contents of them are in benefit to any party or not. In this connection with these positive or negative character of the contract, it is worthwhile to compare the actual salvage expenses contract with no cure no pay contract. LOF 1990 has been revised recently, which is based on no cure no pay, expecially, the special compensation, safety net clause of LOF 1990 could be understood in the view of the prevention of sea pollution and the preservation of sea circumstances in the world. Salvage has the complicated and quality, because the adjustment of almost salvage charges have been treated through the other sea casualties which is accompanied by and mixed with. Besides of the importance of salvage contracts, we are in need to understand that what the diversified character of salvage charges are. Furthermore the owners should carefully select the insured conditions on Hull Insurance according to the type of his company, operating ocean route, loading cargo and etc. In this paper, we would try to analyze the character of the salvage award such as General Average, Sue and Labour Charges and Particular charges. We would like to propose that the uniformed system of the salvage award. Compensation should be built up for the effective and efficient salvage operation and for reducing the claims and conflicts from the concerned parties. To this end, we could expect that the uniformed system for salvage award compensation will come to be the benefit of all owners, insurers, salvage company.

독거노인의 자살생각에 대한 구조모형 분석 (The Structural Model Suicidal Ideation in Elderly Living Alone)

  • 본 연구는 독거노인의 자살생각에 대한 구조모형 분석을 위해 수행되었다. 본 연구는 C 지역에 거주하는 독거노인 300명을 대상으로 한 서술적 조사연구이며 빈도분석, Pearson's correlation coefficients 산출 및 다중희귀분석, AMOS 통계를 실시하였다. 자료수집은 2016년 10월 1일부터 2016년 12월 31일 까지다. 본 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 가족지지, 사회활동은 자살생각에 부적상관관계를 보였다. 가족지지는 경제활동, 종교활동, 자원봉사, 지역사회참여에 직접효과를 나타냈고 통계적으로 모두 유의한 차이(p<.05)가 있었다. 가족지지는 자살생각(자살욕구 ${\beta}=-362$, p=.000, 삶에 대한 부정적 태도 ${\beta}=-.259$, p=.001)에 직접효과가 유의하게 나타났다. 본 연구의 결과는 독거노인의 가족지지 및 사회활동을 강화시켜 자살생각을 줄이고 사회적 안전망을 구축하여 정서적 안정감을 초래하고 관련된 정책수립이 우선적임을 시사한다.

Competencies of Dental Hygienists for Oral Care Service for People with Disability

  • Background: Dental treatment has shifted to the center of the community, and the public policy of the country has expanded to support the vulnerable classes such as the disabled. The dental profession needs education regarding oral health services for persons with disabilities, and it is necessary to derive the competencies for this. Therefore, we conducted this study to derive the normative ability to understand the role of a dental hygienist in the oral health service for persons with disabilities and improvement plans for education. Methods: We conducted a qualitative analysis for deriving competencies by analyzing the data collected through in-depth interviews with experts in order to obtain abilities through practical experience. Based on the competency criterion, relevant competency in the interview response was derived using the priori method, and it was confirmed whether the derived ability matched the ability determined by the respondent. Results: The professional conduct competencies of dental hygienists, devised by the Korean Association of Dental Hygiene, consists of professional behavior, ethical decision-making, self-assessment skills, lifelong learning, and accumulated evidence. Also, core competencies of the American Dental Education Association competencies for dental hygienist classification such as ethics, responsibility for professional actions, and critical thinking skills were used as the criterion. The dental hygienist's abilities needed for oral health care for people with disabilities, especially in the detailed abilities to fulfill these social needs, were clarified. Conclusion: To activate oral health care for people with disabilities, it is necessary for dental hygienists to fulfill their appropriate roles, and for this purpose, competency-based curriculum restructuring is indispensable. A social safety net for improving the oral health of people with disabilities can be secured by improving the required skills-based education system of dental hygienists and strengthening the related infrastructure.

저소득층 여성의 건강에 영향을 미치는 다차원적 요인 : 사회적 지지 자원의 조절효과 (Multidimensional Factors Influencing Health of Low-Income Women: The Moderating Effect of Social Support Resource)

  • 본 연구는 저소득층 여성의 건강에 영향을 미치는 요인을 다각적으로 살펴보고, 그 중 사회적 지지 자원이 저소득층 여성들이 가지고 있는 다양한 특성과 건강 관계에서 상호작용을 하는지 파악하였다. 본 연구를 위하여 소득에 따라 저소득층 기준에 부합하고 2인 이상의 가족 구성원으로 이루어진 가구 내 성인 여성 239명을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였고 기술통계, 상관분석 및 회귀분석 등을 이용하여 연구 결과를 도출하였다. 연구 결과 저소득층 여성들이 평가하는 본인의 건강 수준은 중간 수준이었고, 그들의 건강에 미치는 요인으로는 교육수준, 자기효능감, 사회적 지지 자원 등이 파악되었다. 특히 사회적 지지 자원은 교육수준과 주관적 건강 관계에서 조절변인으로서의 기능을 하는 것으로 나타났다. 본 결과를 통해 저소득층 여성의 건강 증진을 위해서는 직접적인 건강 관련 측면뿐 아니라 자기 관리 역량강화와 같은 심리적 지원, 사회적 지지 자원 확대를 위한 안전망과 같은 제도 구축 등까지 포괄적 관점에서 접근할 필요가 있다는 시사점을 도출하였다. 그리고 후속적으로 저소득층 여성의 건강과 관련된 변인들의 시간속성을 검증하거나 대상을 세분화하는 연구가 이루어질 필요가 있다.

LiDAR 센서를 활용한 배회 동선 검출 알고리즘 개발 (An Algorithm of Identifying Roaming Pedestrians' Trajectories using LiDAR Sensor)

  • 최근 국제적인 테러 위협이 불특정 다수를 대상으로 발생하고 있으며, 이러한 위협에서 시민을 보호하기 위한 다양한 대책이 논의 중이다. 저렴해진 센서 기술을 활용한 사전 감시 시스템에 대한 요구가 높아지고 있으나, 보행 궤적의 고유 특성 검출 및 상세 분석 연구가 미비한 실정이다. 본 연구에서는 상용화된 보행 동선 솔루션을 활용하여, 삼성역 개찰구에서 코엑스와 직접 연결되는 연결 통로 (3-6번 출구 근처) 일대의 보행 동선 궤적 조사를 수행하였다. 조사된 궤적 자료를 바탕으로, 궤적 자료의 정규화 기법, Clustering 방법을 중심으로 보행 궤적을 유형화하고 배회 동선을 추출하는 분석 방법론을 제시하였다. 분석 결과, 동일 군집내에서 유사성이 크게 떨어지는 보행 궤적의 검출 가능성을 검증하였다.

VERIFICATION OF ELECTROMAGNETIC EFFECTS FROM WIRELESS DEVICES IN OPERATING NUCLEAR POWER PLANTS

  • Wireless communication technologies, especially smartphones, have become increasingly common. Wireless technology is widely used in general industry and this trend is also expected to grow with the development of wireless technology. However, wireless technology is not currently applied in any domestic operating nuclear power plants (NPPs) because of the highest priority of the safety policy. Wireless technology is required in operating NPPs, however, in order to improve the emergency responses and work efficiency of the operators and maintenance personnel during its operation. The wired telephone network in domestic NPPs can be simply connected to a wireless local area network to use wireless devices. This design change can improve the ability of the operators and personnel to respond to an emergency situation by using important equipment for a safe shutdown. IEEE 802.11 smartphones (Wi-Fi standard), Internet Protocol (IP) phones, personal digital assistant (PDA) for field work, notebooks used with web cameras, and remote site monitoring tablet PCs for on-site testing may be considered as wireless devices that can be used in domestic operating NPPs. Despite its advantages, wireless technology has only been used during the overhaul period in Korean NPPs due to the electromagnetic influence of sensitive equipment and cyber security problems. This paper presents the electromagnetic verification results from major sensitive equipment after using wireless devices in domestic operating NPPs. It also provides a solution for electromagnetic interference/radio frequency interference (EMI/RFI) from portable and fixed wireless devices with a Wi-Fi communication environment within domestic NPPs.

LEAK-BEFORE-BREAK ANALYSIS OF THERMALLY AGED NUCLEAR PIPE UNDER DIFFERENT BENDING MOMENTS

  • Cast duplex stainless steels are susceptible to thermal aging during long-term service at temperatures ranging from $280^{\circ}C$ to $450^{\circ}C$. To analyze the effect of thermal aging on leak-before-break (LBB) behavior, three-dimensional finite element analysis models were built for circumferentially cracked pipes. Based on the elasticeplastic fracture mechanics theory, the detectable leakage crack length calculation and J-integral stability assessment diagram approach were carried out under different bending moments. The LBB curves and LBB assessment diagrams for unaged and thermally aged pipes were constructed. The results show that the detectable leakage crack length for thermally aged pipes increases with increasing bending moments, whereas the critical crack length decreases. The ligament instability line and critical crack length line for thermally aged pipes move downward and to the left, respectively, and unsafe LBB assessment results will be produced if thermal aging is not considered. If the applied bending moment is increased, the degree of safety decreases in the LBB assessment.

Dynamic Analysis of AP1000 Shield Building Considering Fluid and Structure Interaction Effects

  • The shield building of AP1000 was designed to protect the steel containment vessel of the nuclear reactor. Therefore, the safety and integrity must be ensured during the plant life in any conditions such as an earthquake. The aim of this paper is to study the effect of water in the water tank on the response of the AP1000 shield building when subjected to three-dimensional seismic ground acceleration. The smoothed particle hydrodynamics method (SPH) and finite element method (FEM) coupling method is used to numerically simulate the fluid and structure interaction (FSI) between water in the water tank and the AP1000 shield building. Then the grid convergence of FEM and SPH for the AP1000 shield building is analyzed. Next the modal analysis of the AP1000 shield building with various water levels (WLs) in the water tank is taken. Meanwhile, the pressure due to sloshing and oscillation of the water in the gravity drain water tank is studied. The influences of the height of water in the water tank on the time history of acceleration of the AP1000 shield building are discussed, as well as the distributions of amplification, acceleration, displacement, and stresses of the AP1000 shield building. Research on the relationship between the WLs in the water tank and the response spectrums of the structure are also taken. The results show that the high WL in the water tank can limit the vibration of the AP1000 shield building and can more efficiently dissipate the kinetic energy of the AP1000 shield building by fluid-structure interaction.

A Concise Design for the Irradiation of U-10Zr Metallic Fuel at a Very Low Burnup

  • In order to investigate the swelling behavior and fuel-cladding interaction mechanism of U-10Zr alloy metallic fuel at very low burnup, an irradiation experiment was concisely designed and conducted on the China Mianyang Research Reactor. Two types of irradiation samples were designed for studying free swelling without restraint and the fuel-cladding interaction mechanism. A new bonding material, namely, pure aluminum powder, was used to fill the gap between the fuel slug and sample shell for reducing thermal resistance and allowing the expansion of the fuel slug. In this paper, the concise irradiation rig design is introduced, and the neutronic and thermal-hydraulic analyses, which were carried out mainly using MCNP (Monte Carlo N-Particle) and FLUENT codes, are presented. Out-of-pile tests were conducted prior to irradiation to verify the manufacturing quality and hydraulic performance of the rig. Nondestructive postirradiation examinations using cold neutron radiography technology were conducted to check fuel cladding integrity and swelling behavior. The results of the preliminary examinations confirmed the safety and effectiveness of the design.
