This quasi-experimental study examined the experience of simulation clothes and its effects among undergraduate nursing students. Method: The experimental group consisted of 44 sophomore students in a diploma nursing program, while 41 students comprised the comparison group. Only the experimental group experienced the functional decline of aging after taking on simulation clothes. Homogeneity between the groups was analyzed using t-test, and Fisher's exact test. Paired t-test and t-test were adopted for testing changes of attitudes and awareness of supporting elders. In addition, contents of students' reports of the aging simulation experience were analyzed. Results: No significant quantitative effect was observed in attitudes toward elders and awareness of supporting elders. However, the simulation experience seemed to have enhanced students' understanding of elders and of basic elder care as well. Furthermore, the students could think of preparing for their later lives. Conclusion: The experience of simulation clothes is a meaningful learning opportunity in gerontological nursing curriculum. Students' experiences need to be shared and reinforced in a discussion session. Safety should be secured in the process of the experience. The simulation experience can be further developed to raise its quality.

The From COVID-19 until recently, the demand for hiking has been rapidly increasing due to the popularization of mountain seekers.,On weekends and holidays, people who do not hike frequently while hiking in large and small mountains to see wildflowers and foliage in the mountains are more likely to be exposed to safety accidents due to an increase in sudden muscle use.,If you fall or get muscle damage during a hike, you can prevent a major accident with a simple treatment. In some cases, the error of first aid may permanently damage the important function of the body.,In particular, during a safety accident on a mountain, while climbing in light clothes, the body temperature rises due to the sweat that was shed at the beginning, and the blood pressure rises due to the contraction of the blood vessels due to the drop in body temperature from the top, resulting in an emergency such as cardiac arrest.,According to statistics from the National Park Service, nearly half (48%) of deaths in national parks are known to be sudden cardiac deaths.,There are many safety accidents that occur frequently in the mountains, but among them, we will study how to cope with acute diseases such as cardiac arrest due to increased blood pressure due to insufficient body temperature control, chest pain or dyspnea, and heart burden due to excessive hiking.
This study is designed to conduct a questionnaire research into the safety control and the actual condition of radiography by working with dentistry belonging to university hospitals, dental hospitals and dental clinics for three months ranging from August, 2003 to October, 2003. The researcher came to the following conclusions. 1. The research on the current condition of possessed radiational equipment shows that 61.2 percent of the subjects had one intraoral radiation medicine and that 70.1 percent of the subjects had more than one extraoral radiation medicine and that 37.3 percent of the subjects had more than one digital radiation medicine. 2. Most of intraoral radiography (82.1%) was conducted by dental hygienists, and 7.5 percent of intraoral radiography was conducted by nurse aids. On the other hand, most of extraoral radiography (76.6%) was conducted by dental hygienists and digital radiography was conducted by dental hygienists(60.6%), dentists(32.0%) and radiographer(80.0%). 3. The less-than 1-meter-long distance between cone and the radiographer accounted for 44.8 percent. And the more-than 1.6-meter-long distance accounted for no more than 13.4 percent. The exposure time per standard film which was adjusted to each part accounted for 71.6 percent. Fixing the film on the part of healthy patients accounted for 76.1 percent. Fixing the film of elderly patients and children patients by the radiographer accounted for 43.3 percent. 4. The average daily photographing frequency of standard films stood at six to ten pieces(31.3%), and the average weekly photographing frequency of bitewing films stood at less than one piece(47.8%), and the dentistries where bitewing films were not employed accounted for 25.4%. The subjects whose average weekly photographing freqeuncy of occlusal films stood at less than a piece accounted for 59.7 percent. The dentistries whose average weekly photographing frequency of pediatric films stood at one to five pieces accounted for 41.8 percent. In case of panorama & cephalo, one to five pieces on a weekly average accounted for 36.2 percent. The dentistries whose average daily photographing frequency of digital radiation medicine stood at less than 1 piece accounted for 40.0 percent. 5. The research on the use of protective clothes shows that pregnant ·women only accounted for 31.3 percent. In regard to the use of protective clothes in case of the radiographers fixing films, the cases where no protective clothes were employed accounted for 88.1 percent. The reason was said to he attributable to the trouble related to wearing the clothes(54.2%). 6. The survey on the measurement of exposure dose shows that the cases where no measurement was made accounted for 76.1 percent. As far as the measurement methods of exposure dose was concerned, the employment of film badge accounted for 68.8 percent. The subjects turned out to conduct measurement of exposure dose every third month, which accounted for 43.8 percent. The barriers to the measurement of measurement of exposure dose were attributable to the recognition that a little amount of exposure dose need not be measured(29.9%). 7. The survey on the distinction of radiation rooms and clinic rooms reveals that the cases where radiation rooms exclusively existed accounted for 67.2 percent. 43.3 percent of the subjects turned out to have only one protective garment, and 49.3 percent of the subjects proved to conduct a periodical checkup of radiational equipment. The survey on the examination certificates of radiational generators and protective facilities indicates that 80.6 percent of the subjects had the certificates. The research also shows that the subjects with the marks indicating the radiational areas accounted for 70.1 percent. And trustees turned out to handle developing solutions and fixing solutions.

This study evaluates the comfort and suitability of safety clothing. We made three safety clothes 'y', 'lg', 'lgH'. Only 'y' made with fluorescence fabric has passed International Standards (ISO 20471). A wearing test investigated the physiological response and subjective sensations at 30℃ and 50% RH, six men participated. Mean skin temperature and tympanic temperature showed significant difference with experimental course (p<.05). The micro-temperature (Tm) showed significant differences between three garments on the thigh (p<.01). When wearing 'lg', Tm was the highest. Micro-humidity indicated the interaction between clothing and the experimental course on the chest with no significant difference; however, there was a low tendency when wearing 'lgH' after the second half of exercise. The sweat rate indicated a significant difference between 'lg' and 'lgH' at 20 minutes of exercise (p<.05). Three sensations showed significant differences with the time (p<.01), there was also a tendency to feel hotter and more humid when wearing 'lg'. Skin sensation showed significant differences between pre-experiment and post-experiment (p<.05), 'y' was the most preferred. The 'lg' with long-sleeved currently worn in Korea tended to feel hotter, more humid and more uncomfortable than 'y'. It indicates that there is room for improvement in Korean safety clothing.

This study applied ALOHA Program to predict the damage caused by fire and explosion predicted to occur from gas leakage at LPG stations and presented plans to prevent damages by diagramming the impact range and distance. The propane gas leakage from LPG stations causes human damage like breathing issues and property damage, including building destruction to residents in the surrounding areas. As a way to reduce this, first, the hazardous substance safety manager of the LPG station needs to check frequently whether the meters and safety valves are working properly to prevent leakage in advance. Second, the LPG stations' storage tanks should be worked by the person who received "hazardous substance safety manager training" under the provisions of the Act on the Safety Control of Hazardous Substances and has been appointed as a "hazardous substance safety manager" by the fire department. Third, LPG station's various safety device functions, such as overfill prevention devices, must be checked on a regular basis. Finally, wearing work clothes and shoes that prevent static electricity at LPG stations is highly recommended, as static can cause a fire when gas leaks.

Although agriculture has a long history, there has beena lack of consideration and interest in farmers. This paper considered the present condition of agriculture on anergonomic perspective using a literature review and suggestsdirections for afuture study to improve the work efficiency and safety-health of farmers. The results showed that the literature could beclassified 4 categories; the design of agriculture equipment, safety-health, safety management, and product design. The safety-health category contained the majority of papers with product design category containing the minority. In future, a study ofproduct liability probability, the design of a work and rest time, and clothes design against cold will be needed.
A high prevalence of farmer's work-related musculo-skeletal disorders (MSDs) have been reported in precedent studies. Risk factors - physical, chemical, biological, ergonomic risk factor etc. - in farm-work were identified by previous studies. To prevent farmers from exposing to them and reduce, Agricultural Safety Technology were introduced and used on farm. The purpose of this study is to review and summarize the agricultural safety technology on farm in Korea. According to strategy principles, this technology is classified as four criteria - workload reduction by reducing awkward posture, workload reduction by using manual material handling aids, Comfort improvement by protecting worker from hot, cold environment and work efficiency improvement by workplace redesign and cultivation modification. This technology includes transporting tools, working cloth, personal protective equipment, and pesticide-proof Clothing. Anthropometric study of Korean farmers was also carried out to support the development of equipment and clothes. In long terms, it needs to precaution activity from risk factors by using cultivation modification and working improvement. Although working condition gets better and workload reduce by this technology, it required customized safety technology in each crops - rice cultivation, horticulture and livestock farming. And farmers should use the assistive technology and participate voluntarily in ergonomic intervention program.

This study was to develope the pesticide-proof clothes(PPC) for fruit-grower which has been well known over applied agricultural chemicals. The ergonomic evaluation of PPC were tested in two ways. Male adults volunteered the tests to evaluate the safety to pesticide in the field and the thermal comforts in the climate-chamber($30^{\circ}C$, 60%R.H.). PPC were made of 4 different fabrics. Two of them were on the market(coated non-woven and coated nylon). Others were water-repellent treatment and coated waterproof film by developed polyester. The field study was conducted for farmers growing apples to evaluate pesticide exposure. In this experiment, we collected data with patch test on the head, chest, back, right upperarm, right forearm, left thigh and left calf. From the results, the developed PPC showed the more excellent comfort than an existing PPC with nylon coated polyurethane. But the developed PPC of water-repellent fabric was penetrated into the PPC. Therefore, we designed the functional pesticide-proof clothes of 2 different developed polyester fabrics(water-repellent treatment in chest, abdomen, the lower of back, waist, and calf; coated waterproof film in head, shoulder, the upper of back, the crotch, hip, upper arm and thigh).
