  • In this research, we propose a Unified Fuzzy rule-based knowledge Inference Systems (UFIS) to help the expert in cosmetic brand detection. Users' preferred cosmetic product detection is very important in the level of CRM. To this purpose, many corporations trying to develop an efficient data mining tool. In this study, we develop a prototype fuzzy rule detection and inference system. The framework used in this development is mainly based on two different mechanisms such as fuzzy rule extraction and RDB (Relational DB)-based fuzzy rule inference. First, fuzzy clustering and fuzzy rule extraction deal with the presence of the knowledge in data base and its value is presented with a value between 0 -1. Second, RDB and SQL (Structured Query Language)-based fuzzy rule inference mechanism provide more flexibility in knowledge management than conventional non-fuzzy value-based KMS (Knowledge Management Systems).

  • For the Korean language, on acoustics, it creates a different form of phonetic value not a phoneme by its own peculiar property. Therefore, the construction of extended recognition system for understanding Korean language should be created with a study of the Korean rule-based system, before it can be used as post-processing of the Korean recognition system. In this paper, text-based Korean rule-based system featuring Korean peculiar vocal sound changing rule is constructed. and based on the text-based phonetic value result of the system constructed, a preliminary phonetic value segmentation border points with non-uniform blocks are extracted in Korean isolated word speech. Through the way of merge and recognition of the non-uniform blocks between the extracted border points, recognition possibility of Korean voice as the form of the phonetic vale has been investigated.

  • Rule-based paradigm is one of the principal types of software process modeling and enaction approaches, as they provide formality and flexibility sufficient to handle complex processes. However, the systems adopting rule-based paradigms are hard to define and understand process models, and their inference engine should be modified or redeveloped at worst according to the change of process language. In this paper, we describe a rule-based PSEE(Process-Centered Software Engineering Environment) PRAiSE that solves the above limitations of existing rule-based PSEEs as well as maintains the merits of rule-based paradigm such as the ability to incorporate the nature of software processes flexibly in which dynamic changes and parallelism are pervasive and prevalent. PRAiSE provides RAiSE, a graphical Process modeling language, and defined process models are interpreted and enacted by process engine implemented using CLiPS, a rule based expert system tool.

  • This study is based on differences of syllable type between Korean and Chinese language pronunciation. For example, Nasal consonant ending 【n】 and 【${\eta}$】 reside in both Korean and Chinese phonetics simultaneously. However, in experiential training, Chinese learners will make errors in pronunciation of the Korean syllable nasal consonant ending like 【n】 and 【${\eta}$】. In the previous research, analysis of pronunciation errors were often based on the perspective of phonological system and combination of the phoneme rules. However, in this study, the analysis is based on the differences between Korean and Chinese syllables category to indicate the cause of pronunciation errors. The main findings of this study indicated that in the process of pronunciation of Chinese, nasal consonant syllable rime and its 【back】 tongue vowel are combined with each other. However, this rule does not apply in Korean pronunciation. Therefore, the Korean syllabic types like "앤, 응, 옹, 앵, 은, 온, 언" also exist in the Chinese language. When theChinese learners pronounce these types of syllables, the combination of the voweland nasal syllable rime rule will be taken, which will result in pronunciationerrors.

  • The feature models representing the common and variable concepts among the software products and the feature configurations generated by selecting the features to be included in the target product are the essential components in the software product lines methodology. Although the researches on the formal semantics and reasoning of the feature models and feature configurations are in progress, the researches on feature model ontologies and feature configuration validation using the semantic web technologies are yet insufficient. This paper defines the formal semantics of the feature models and proposes a feature configuration validation technique based on ontology and semantic web technologies. OWL(Web Ontology Language), a semantic web standard language, is used to represent the knowledge in the feature models and the feature configurations. SWRL(Semantic Web Rule Language), a semantic web rule languages, is used to define the rules to validate the feature configurations. The approach in this paper provides the formal semantic of the feature models, automates the validation of feature configurations, and enables the application of various semantic web technologies, such as SQWRL.

  • In this study, by using the natural language processing of the field of artificial intelligence, automated index was performed. And then, the Natural Language Processing Interface for knowledge representation(NALPI) has been developed. Furthermore, the DEsign KnOwledge DataBase(DEKODB) has been also developed, which is designed to interlock the knowledge base. The DEKODB processes both the documented design-data, like a concrete standard specification, and the design knowledge from an expert. The DEKODB is also simulates the design space of structures accordance with the production rule, and thus it is determined that DEKODB can be used as a engine to retrieve new knowledge and to implement knowledge base that is necessary to the development of automatic design system. The application field of the system, which has been developed in this study, can be expanded by supplement of the design knowledge at DEKODB and developing dictionaries for foreign languages. Furthermore, the perfect automation at the data accumulation and development of the automatic rule generator should benefit the unified design automation.

  • To improve reusability and adaptation of variable components, rule-based component development has been used. Rule engines usually need additional script languages for rule expression and have difficulty in expressing complex business rules. In this paper, we propose a compiler-based rule engine for rich rule expression and improving performance. This rule engine uses Java programming language to express conditions and action parts of rules and that it can easily express complex business rules. It creates and executes condition and action objects at run time. In view of Performance, the rule engine is better than a script based rule engine. According to our experiments, our compiler-based nile engine shows 2.5 times better performance that script-based JSR 94 rule engine.

  • Tourism and hospitality have encountered significant changes in recent years as a result of the rapid development of information technology (IT). Customers now expect more expedient services and customized travel experiences, which has intensified competition among service providers. To meet these demands, businesses have adopted sophisticated IT applications such as ChatGPT, which enables real-time interaction with consumers and provides recommendations based on their preferences. This paper focuses on the AI support-prompt middleware system, which functions as a mediator between generative AI and human users, and discusses two operational rules associated with it. The first rule is the Information Processing Rule, which requires the middleware system to determine appropriate responses based on the context of the conversation using techniques for natural language processing. The second rule is the Information Presentation Rule, which requires the middleware system to choose an appropriate language style and conversational attitude based on the gravity of the topic or the conversational context. These rules are essential for guaranteeing that the middleware system can fathom user intent and respond appropriately in various conversational contexts. This study contributes to the planning and analysis of service design by deriving design rules for middleware systems to incorporate artificial intelligence into tourism services. By comprehending the operation of AI support-prompt middleware systems, service providers can design more effective and efficient AI-driven tourism services, thereby improving the customer experience and obtaining a market advantage.
