마우스에 있어서 Olive Oil의 식이가 면역반응에 미치는 영향 (Effect of Olive Oil Diet on the Immune Response in ICR Mice)

  • This study was performed to investigate the effect of olive oil diet on the immune response in ICR male mice. Experimental diets of 4 groups were fed ad libitum to the ICR male mice for 27 days. The results of this study were summarized as followings: 1. 10% Olive oil diet group as compared with the control diet group significantly decreased liver weight rate but significantly increased hemagglutination titer (HA), Arthus reaction, delayed type reaction (DTH), rosette forming cell (RFC), and phagocyte activity. 2. 20% Olive oil hypersensitivity diet group as compared with the control diet group significantly increased body weight gain, liver weight rate, and HA but significantly decreased Arthus reaction, DTH, RFC, phagocyte activity, and peripheral circulating white blood cell (WBC). 3. 30% Olive oil diet group as compared with the control diet group significantly increased liver weight rate but significantly decreased body weight gain, Arthus reaction, plaque forming cell (PFC), DTH, RFC, phagocyte activity, and WBC. The results showed that the increase of olive oil doses significantly decreased humoral and cellular immune responses, phagocyte activity, and WBC.

AFE 영역 PLZT 박막의 전기 및 광학 특성 (Electrical and Optical Characteristics of PLZT Thin Films in AFE region)

  • In this study, PLZT thin films in AFE region prepared by sol-gel processing were investigated. And PLZT stock solutions were spin-coated on ITO-glass. The PLZT thin films were annealed by RTA. Hysteresis curves, dielectric characteristics and optical transmittances were measured in order to investigates the characteristics far the thin films. The PLZT thin films were crystallized at 750$^{\circ}C$ for 5 mimutes by RTA and the rosette structure composed of perovskite observed in the thin films. In case La content was 2/90/10 antiferroelectric-ferroelectric phase boundary was 2/90/10 PLZT thin film, and its hysteresis curve was good for application of optical information storage.

  • Phenylpropanoids(PP), C6-C3 compounds, are widely distributed in many plants. In this experiments, effect of PP on sheep red bood cells (sRBC)-induced delayed type hypersensitivity (DTH) were studied in ICR male mice. SRBC were challenged by i.p. injection at two weeks after sensitization of Lp. injection of sRBC. Five days after the challenge of antigen, paw edema induced 24 hours after the last challenge by DTH, respectively. (omitted)

해오라비난초속(난과)의 미기록종: 애기방울난초(Harbenaria iyoensis) (Habenaria iyoensis (Orchidaceae): First Report for Korea)

  • 일본 남부와 대만에 분포하는 것으로 알려진 난과의 애기방울난초 (Habenaria iyoensis)가 제주도 서귀포시 저지대에서 발견되었다. 이 종은 3 맥을 가진 꽃받침, 짧은 원통형의 거, 로젯형의 근생 잎에 의해 다른 해오라비난초속 식물들과 구별된다. 국명은 방울난초 보다 작으므로 애기방울난초로 신청하였다. 애기방울난초의 형태적 특징을 기재하고, 도해와 생태 사진을 첨부하였다.

圓筒管의 圓周熔接時 發生되는 殘留應力에 관한 實驗的 硏究 (The Eexperimental Studies on Residual Stresses due to Circumferential Welds in thin Steel Cylinder)

  • The residual stresses produced by a circumferential weld between axisymmetric cylinders are one of the most important problems concerning buckling strength, fatigue strength, stress corrosion cracking in shell structures, and arc quite different from those due to a butt weld between flat plates. This paper presents experimental studies on weld cylinder models of various heat inputs and thin cylinder diameters by blind hole drilling method. As a result, it is certified that weld residual stress (axial stress and hoop stress) is larger, as heat input and shell cylinder diameter are larger, and that experimental results show good agreement with the result of preceding researchers.

  • Lots of research works have been done to improve the accuracy of the hole drilling method to measure residual stress by many investigators. In this study, first, size effect of specimen was analyzed based on the solution of hole in a strip under tension. If the ratio of hole diameter tothe strip width is less than 0.2, the stress distribution around hold may be given from the solution of hole in an infinite plate. Second, the residual stress above $0.6{\sigma}_y$(yield stress) may be measured less than the actual stress by 10-15 percent. Third, eccentricity of hole relative to the rosette center effects on the accuracy of residual stress measurements by 10 percent. The error due to eccentricity of hole can be corrected by the iteration method or the direct method.

졸-겔법으로 백금 기판위에 제조된 PLZT 박막의 구조적, 전기적 특성변화 (Structural and Electrical Characteristics of Ferroelectric PLZT Thin Film Prepared on Pt Substrate by Sol-Gel Route)

  • The spin-casted PLZT(9/65/35) thin films through polymeric sol-gel process were prepared on Pt substrate. The crack-free, uniform and dense films were obtained by post-annealing at the temperature between 35$0^{\circ}C$ and $700^{\circ}C$. The composite structure mixed together with large grains called "rosette" and surrounding small grains were observed on the films annealed over $600^{\circ}C$. Pyrochlore phase was completely changed to perovskite phase above $600^{\circ}C$ with the increase of annealing temperature. Dielectric constant (k) was larger with the increase of film thickness and annealing temperature. from the measurements of dielectric constant as a function of measuring temperature, it was also observed that Curie temperature was shifted to higher temperature with the increase of film thickness and annealing temperature. The pyroelectric coefficient(P) of 10 times coated film annealed at $700^{\circ}C$ was 65 $\mu$C/$\textrm{cm}^2$.K.$.K.

Pb(Zr, Ti)$O_3$ 박막에서 결정립 크기 포화 현상에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Saturation of Grain Size in Pb(Zr, Ti)$O_3$ Thin Films)

  • During the grain growth of the PZT thin films by selective nucleation method using PZT seed, it was found that the grain size was saturated with the annealing temperature. The saturation of grain size was analyzed by the interfacial energy which appeared during the crystallization. The factors affecting the saturation of grain size were found to be the interfacial energy between perovskite phase and pyrochlore phase, and PZT thin film and the bottom Pt electrode. When the ion damage was introduced to the grain-size saturated PZT thin films, further lateral growth was observed. Pt bottom electrode thickness was changed to control the interfacial energy between the PZT thin film and the Pt bottom electrode. When Pt thickness was increased, the grain size was also increased, because the lattice parameter of Pt films was increased with the thickness of the Pt films. The incubation time of nucleation was increased with the amount of the ion damage on the Pt films.

Structural and Dielectric Properties of Sol-gel Derived BiFeO3/Pb(Zr,T)O3 Heterolayered Thin Films

  • $BiFeO_3/Pb(Zr_{0.95}Ti_{0.05})O_3$ (BFO/PZT) heterolayered thin films were fabricated by the spin coating method on a Pt/Ti/$SiO_2$/Si substrate using metal alkoxide solutions. The coating and heating procedure was repeated 6 times to form the heterolayered films. The thickness of the BFO/PZT films after one cycle of drying/sintering is about 30-40 nm. All BFO/PZT films show a void free uniform grain structure without the presence of rosette structures. It can be assumed that the crystal growth of the upper BFO layers can be influenced by the lower PZT layers. As the number of coatings increased, the dielectric constant increased, so that the value for the 6-layer film was 1360 at 1 KHz.

서울市 步道와 街路樹밑의 植生에 관한 分析 (Analysis of Vegetation on the Pavements and under the Street Trees in Seoul)

  • Analysis of vegetation on the pavements and under the trees of streets in Seoul city were investigated from July to November 1989. All of the vascular herbs were 9 orders, 13 families, 30 genera, 37 species and 1 forma. Species diversity and evenness index were higher on the pavements than under the trees of streets. Eragrostis multicaulis with C-4 pathway was a dominant species, and next orders of importace values were Eleusine indica(C-4), Digitaria sanguinalis(C-4), Taraxacum officinale(C-3) and Erigeron annus(C-3). On the pavements and under the trees of streets, light intensity and surface temperature were very high, Also, these sites were affected by many kinds of human interferences. Therefore, it was an example of adaptation to specific ecological environments that C-4 plats were more dominant than C-3, growth forms of C-3 plants were rosette or prostrate, and annual or biennial plants were distributed in these studied sites. Generally, fruits types were grains, achens and capsules. Seeds were very small and some had appendages such as pappus.
