This paper introduces a robot-based learning system which is designed to teach multiplication to children. In addition to a small humanoid and a smart device delivering educational content, we employ a type of mixed-initiative operation which provides enhanced multi-modal cognition to the r-learning system through human intervention. To investigate major factors that influence people's intention to use the r-learning system and to see how the multi-modality affects the connections, we performed a user study based on TAM (Technology Acceptance Model). The results support the fact that the quality of the system and the natural interaction are key factors for the r-learning system to be used, and they also reveal very interesting implications related to the human behaviors.

Robust voice recognition (RVR) is essential for a robot to communicate with people. One of the main problems with RVR for robots is that robots inevitably real environment noises. The noise is captured with strong power by the microphones, because the noise sources are closed to the microphones. The signal-to-noise ratio of input voice becomes quite low. However, it is possible to estimate the noise by using information on the robot's own motions and postures, because a type of motion/gesture produces almost the same pattern of noise every time it is performed. In this paper, we propose an RVR system which can robustly recognize voice by adults and children in noisy environments. We evaluate the RVR system in a communication robot placed in a real noisy environment. Voice is captured using a wireless microphone. Navigation Strategy is shown Obstacle detection and local map, Design of Goal-seeking Behavior and Avoidance Behavior, Fuzzy Decision Maker and Lower level controller. The final hypothesis is selected based on posterior probability. We then select the task in the motion task library. In the motion control, we also integrate the obstacle avoidance control using ultrasonic sensors. Those are powerful for detecting obstacle with simple algorithm.

The purpose of this study is to suggest the direction and implications of robot education by analyzing domestic research trend related to robot education and effectiveness papers from 2001 to the recent time. For examining the research trend related to robot education, 112 papers in total 10 kinds of professional academic journals of National Research Foundation of Korea were selected and they were analyzed by academic journal, year, research form, research subject, research object and research method. As the result of analyzing the number of papers by year, they are greatly increased from 2007. And, for the research subjects, they showed high rate of research, programming education and children's response research in order. For the research method, the experimental research was fulfilled the mostly. In the research on the educational effects of robot, it's reported to be effective in creativity, problem-solving ability, academic accomplishment of subjects, justifying factors of studying concentration and studying attitude. Based on the studying material, direction and implications of robot education were suggested.
With the development of information and communication technology, various methods have been tried to provide learners with a fun educational environment through fun and interest. It is a good example to utilize technologies such as games and robots in education for edutainment and game-based learning. In this study, we propose an intelligent rhythm education system using user data collection and analysis for humanoid robot rhythm generation. To do this, the user selects music and inputs rhythm information according to the selected music. The robot utilization data of this user extracts patterns through collection and analysis. Patterns are based on frequency, and FFT similarity comparison method is applied when past data is insufficient. The proposed method is validated through experiments of kindergarten children.
This study deals with reconfigurable modular robot with respect to the compact and capability of representing the various actions for promoting creativity through education and play. Generally modular robot can be designed as a suitable robot that is transformed to various structure by reconstructing each cells, However, there are only few research on the education and play using those robots in the world and still nothing domestically. Unlike the existing modular robots only having a repeating motion, the proposed modular works by individual module such as sound is produced by sound module, wheel is driven by wheel module, LED module controls the visual expression, power is supplied by battery module, bluetooth module for communication, and dynamic motion realization is possible by using joint module. By manipulating the abilities endowed by individual modules, diversity of creative activities is possible and thus made an easy access for children. This study deals with the design of modular robotic by using the variety of different modules to endowed the learning and playing ability. And the study showed the utility of the operating behavior over the actual production and testing.
Purpose: The purpose of this study was to identify the main keywords, network properties, and main topics of news articles related to artificial intelligence technology in the field of nursing. Methods: After collecting artificial intelligence-and nursing-related news articles published between January 1, 1991, and July 24, 2022, keywords were extracted via preprocessing. A total of 3,267 articles were searched, and 2,996 were used for the final analysis. Text network analysis and topic modeling were performed using NetMiner 4.4. Results: As a result of analyzing the frequency of appearance, the keywords used most frequently were education, medical robot, telecom, dementia, and the older adults living alone. Keyword network analysis revealed the following results: a density of 0.002, an average degree of 8.79, and an average distance of 2.43; the central keywords identified were 'education,' 'medical robot,' and 'fourth industry.' Five topics were derived from news articles related to artificial intelligence and nursing: 'Artificial intelligence nursing research and development in the health and medical field,' 'Education using artificial intelligence for children and youth care,' 'Nursing robot for older adults care,' 'Community care policy and artificial intelligence,' and 'Smart care technology in an aging society.' Conclusion: The use of artificial intelligence may be helpful among the local community, older adult, children, and adolescents. In particular, health management using artificial intelligence is indispensable now that we are facing a super-aging society. In the future, studies on nursing intervention and development of nursing programs using artificial intelligence should be conducted.

In this paper, we developed the program related green growth based Educational-Robot in the framework of Convergence for the community child welfare centers' children who are in poverty and broken homes as the way to enhance the competitiveness about education and a solution to cope with actively about the main tasks of the state for human resources in the future. Through the program developed, it has been verified the impact on the energy saving attitude. According to this result, it has been proved that convergence study program linked green growth for children of community welfare child center is effective to energy saving attitude. Through it, it is expected to help to meet the educational needs of the community child welfare centers' children.
The present cutting-edge industry demands talents with engineering mind that enables them to think and operate in creative manners by themselves while escaping from simple maneuvering activities. Pursuant to the demand of the times, micro-robot manufacturing education at an elementary school level will be an appropriate alternative for developing creativity of children. According to such a need, I designed an effective micro-robot education program for creativity development, and researched it by applying it to the field of education. As a result, in the first place, I could propose teaching-learning material for elementary school for micro-robot manufacturing, Second, I designed a learning program suited to elementary students by dividing it into seven steps. Lastly, there was an improvement in creativity of learners who used the designed teaming program as a result of applying and analyzing the Program.
In recent years, robots have been actively used for children's creativity learning and play, but most robots have a stereotyped form and have a high dependency on the program, making it difficult to learn creativity and play. In order to compensate for these drawbacks, We have created a robot that can easily and reliably combine each other. The robot can memorize the desired operation and execute the memorized operation by using one button. Also, in case multiple modules are combined, pressing the button once on any module makes it possible to easily adjust the operation of all the combined modules. In order to verify the actual operation, two, three, and five modules are combined to demonstrate the usefulness of the proposed structure and algorithm by implementing a gobbling motion and a walking robot. It is required to study intelligent modular robots that can control over the Internet by supplementing the wireless connection method.

The purpose of the research is examine the effect of STEM integration education using educatinal robot on academic achievement and subject Attitude of mathematics and science. The participants were 73 students of two classes, sampled from 6th graders of an elementary school. They were divided into a control group who learned a traditional mathematics and sciences education based textbooks and an experimental group who learned STEM integration education using educational robot during 12 sessions. The results are summarized as follows : First, there is a significant difference in academic achievement between two groups. STEM integration education using educational robot based group accomplished higher achievement than textbook based instruction group. Especially, post test analyzes results on the three factors of academic achievement, knowledge, understanding and adaptation, indicate statistically meaningful difference between two groups in understanding and adaptation area except knowledge area. Second, it shows that it greatly affected a positive influence on experimental group's attitude toward subjects in affective area. So we can expect STEM integration education using educational robot to be an alternative for stimulating children's higher learning interest on mathematics and science subject.
