It's essential to meet the expectations of drivers through reasonable road design, which makes the drivers to recognize the conditions of road sufficiently. In this case, we could say that because the roads are consistently designed, drivers can make a safe and comfortable drive. There are so many studies about the alignment design consistency methods which are previously mentioned. In this study, Firstly we categorize the studies which are concerned with the estimation of the alignment design consistency methods and then apply the method which fits for the actual condition into the practice. And we'll make a realistic method by using the data which aye collected from the National Road. The developed model in this study is the predicting model including speed($V_t$) as the variable on the upper stream 100m of the curve. This model was developed which divided to two cases in the all directions of two lanes; One case is the $R{\leq}200m$ and another case is the R>200m. In the section of the $R{\leq}200m$, this case was influenced on the road alignment(R) and($V_t$) and another section was found that is affected to the speed($V_t$) on the upper stream loom rather than the effect of road alignment(R). In the case of all directions of four lanes, however, this study is predicted divided to two sections on the 400m of R, these section have more influenced to($V_t$) than the road alignment factors. This result of the four lanes was represented to different result with the two lanes. This study will further need development of the predicting model with the higher confidence through collecting data with more the exact data, the various road alignment data and speed of the several sections on the upper stream on the curve.
At present engineers use the highway design speed concept to develop the horizontal alignment. This concept has a strength of attaining consistent horizontal alignments because of its use of a single speed value. Yet it shows a critical weakness that when opened the operating speed for the vehicles on the road can be a lot different than the design speed. To resolve this, many countries already develop the horizontal alignment by adopting procedures that weigh vehicle operating speeds, and this research joins them by developing an operating speed based horizontal alignment design. We have collected vehicle speed samples over the nation, selected some speed influential design elements by doing a statistical analysis, provided a set of models for two-lane roads and four lane roads, and showed a stepwise feedback procedure by doing a case study. It is underscored that in the case study the proposed procedure has scaled down the speed inconsistency problem, and we are of opinion that our procedure would coin both investment efficiency and speed consistency in future highway projects.

New Address System have been defined by section belonging to a road To manage this New Address System the relationship between road and section must have consistency and convenience. So, It have to be designed not only logical relation but physical relation for The relationship between road and section. To make New Address Management System considered the relationship, It must be design database considered the relationship. In this study, therefore would like to present the database design considered the relationship between road and section. And then using GSIS system, New Address Management System have been developed.
Road design should be conformed to the expectancy of drivers. The alignment such as long tangent followed by the sharp horizontal curve should be avoided for the road design consistency. Currently, operating speed profile model is generally used to check the consistency of the successive road alignments. In this model, the hypothesis about the drivers' behaviour on the long tangent followed by the sharp horizontal curve is also included. This study compares the hypothesized drivers' behaviour in the existing operating speed profile model with the actual drivers' behaviour observed at the two lane rural roads. In addition to this, comparison between the acceleration for the vehicles approaching and departing horizontal curves suggested by the foreign research and the value observed at this study was made, From this study, it was concluded that the hypothesis in the existing model was well representing the actual drivers' behaviour. The deceleration for vehicles approaching the horizontal curves was ranged $0.39{\sim}1.06m/s^2$ with the average of $0.66m/s^2$. The average acceleration for the vehicles departing horizontal curves was $0.22m/s^2$.

While driving a highway, A driver gets lots of information through geometrical structure, traffic situation, signs on the road. He gets most of the information by visual sense. Acceleration or deceleration and driving direction depend on sight distance. Therefore, it's essential to secure a driver's sight distance for a safe drive. However, design guides of geometrical structure and sight distance suggest respective standards of horizontal and vertical alignment. They do not indicate quantitative standard of combined alignment. Currently, element separated on a two-dimensional projected plane are available, but they do not guarantee safe and pleasant design. I will use the existent model analysing three-dimensional sight distance through mathematical calculation and sort a variety of geometrical structure element and type. In these researches, we will look at how much three-dimensional sight distance is overestimated or underestimated compared to two-dimensional. I will develop a program which predicts traffic velocity on the curvature of two-lane provincial road. stopped sight distance and three-dimensional sight distance will be compared at a predicted drive velocity. I will suggest the way to evaluate road consistency.

This study is aimed to develop system that can export height automatically with Hierarchical Delaunay Triangulation and finally provide profile of hydraulic channel using 3D terrain geometry model. In this study, by using the object-oriented technique, we developed the traverse and cross-section design system of agricultural facilities, which maintain a consistency in the irrigation design process. This system can design the traverse and cross-section profile for the line type facilities. The results of this study, as for the design based on geography, after carrying out the modeling by using TIN of which employs Delaunays algorithm, it was found that the latitudinal design of the facility is feasible. And, as for the formulation of TIN, we obtained more precise result from using contour, stream, and road data rather than using the contour by itself.

The study is about the development of operating speed prediction models aimed for an evaluation of design consistency of four lane rural roads. The main differences of this study relative to previous research are the method of data collection and classification of road alignments. The previous studies collected speed data at several points in the horizontal curve and approaching tangent. This method of collection is based on the assumption that acceleration and deceleration only occurs at horizontal tangents and the speed is kept constant at horizontal curves. However, this assumption leads to an unreliable speed estimation, so drivers' behavior is not well represented. Contrary to the previous approach, speed data were collected with one and data analysis using a speed profile is made for data selection before building final models. A total of six speed prediction models were made according to the combination of horizontal and vertical alignments. The study predicts that the speed data analysis and selection for model building employed in this study can improve the prediction accuracy of models and be useful to analyze drivers' speed behavior in a more detailed way. Furthermore, it is expected that the operating speed prediction models can help complement the current design-speed-based guidelines, so more benefits to drivers as real road users, rather than engineers or decision makers, can be achieved.

This study has been developed the way that evaluates the road safety using the speed of individual vehicles at curve sections in 2-lane rural highways. For this study, we developed variation of operational speed for the individual vehicle using the speed of vehicles in 96points of selected roads. Drawing out of variation of operational speed for the individual vehicle, estimation models for speed variation of individual vehicles considering horizontal alignments and vertical alignments of the roads have been developed. These models presents the way to evaluate road safety out of the operational speed and acceleration of individual vehicles. Considering safety and based on the results of these study above, some regular spots are ranked by "good", "fair", "bad". The results that this study showed in this paper could be useful to derive some particular spots that needs to be improve in terms of safety.
PURPOSES : To ensure appropriate RCC properties with sufficient strength development and workability, it is necessary to secure a proper level of consistency. It is also necessary to secure maximum dry density, which is an important factor for increasing the interaction of aggregate interlocking, leading to an augmentation of RCC strength. On the other hand, the dry density of RCC can be changed owing to the compaction conditions, water content, and particle size distribution. A Proctor test and a modified Proctor test were used for determining the optimum water content needed to achieve maximum dry density with different amounts of compaction energy. A Vebe test, on the other hand, was used for checking the level of consistency, which is important for producing a workable mixture. METHODS : To confirm the degree of compaction at various particle sizes, RCC mixtures with different sand/aggregate ratios were evaluated. The Proctor test and modified Proctor test were applied to these mixtures to check the effect of the aggregate gradation and compaction energy on the maximum dry density and optimum water content. During each test, three specimens were produced for all types of water content under each aggregate gradation. A compaction curve and the optimum water content and maximum dry density for each aggregate gradation were then obtained for both tests. The range of water content for the appropriate consistency of each aggregate gradation was determined through a Vebe test. The optimum water content was then evaluated based on this range. RESULTS : The compaction test results show that the modified Proctor test provides a higher maximum dry density and lower optimum water content compared with the standard Proctor test. For the modified Proctor test, two cases of aggregate gradation (s/a = 30% and 70%) had the optimum water contents outside of the appropriate water content range. For the standard Proctor test, on the other hand, none of aggregate gradations provided the optimum water content within the desired range. CONCLUSIONS : The modified Proctor test should be used for an RCC mixture design because it can provide adequacy between maximum dry density and consistency. Moreover, the compaction roller has become highly developed for higher compaction energy.
