분체계 재료조합 및 석탄 가스화 용융 슬래그를 잔골재로 활용한 매스 콘크리트 수화열 저감 (Reducing Hydration Heat of Mass Concrete by Applying Combination of Powdered Materials and CGS as Fine Aggregate)

  • 본 연구는 분체계 재료조합 시멘트 및 CGS 잔골재 조합에 따른 콘크리트의 단열온도상승 시험결과를 통해 최적의 조합 비율을 도출하고, 이를 토대로 모의부재 시험 및 수화열 해석을 통하여 매스 콘크리트 구조물에서의 수화열 저감 성능에 대한 현장 적용성을 분석하였다. 분석결과 TBC+CGS 50%조합에서 콘크리트 중앙부와 표면부의 온도차이가 감소하며, 최고 온도 도달시간이 지연되어 시간경과에 따른 표면부 인장강도 증가로 온도응력에 따른 온도균열 발생을 저감시킬 수 있을 것으로 판단된다.

다속성 효용이론에 근거한 조건부 가치측정법을 이용한 낙동강 하구의 환경가치 추정 (Using the Contingent Valuation Method Based on Multi-attribute Utility Theory to Measure the Environmental Value of the Nakdong-river Estuary)

  • This paper attempts to measure the environmental value of the Nakdong-river estuary, which is ecologically important but confronted with the threat of development. Especially, in order to elicit the environmental values of its four attributes, contingent valuation method(CVM) based on multi-attribute utility theory is applied and the CVM survey was rigorously designed to comply with the guidelines for best-practiced CVM studies. We surveyed a randomly selected sample of 400 and 350 households in Busan and six large cities(Seoul, Incheon, Daegu, Daejeon, Gwangju, and Ulsan), respectively and asked respondents questions in person-to-person interviews about how they would willing to pay for the estuary conservation and management program. Respondents overall accepted the contingent market and were willing to contribute a significant amount(2,457 won in Busan and 3,560 won in six large cities), on average, per household per year, which implies that there exists a large difference between the two. The aggregate values of the Nakdong-river estuary in Busan and six large cities amount to 2.92 and 22.32 billion won, respectively, per year. In addition, expanding the values to Korea produces 51.34 billion won per year. The quantitative values can be utilized in planning and decision-making about development versus conservation of the estuary.

  • This study is reviewed fire resistance characteristics of high strength concrete according to changes in PP fiber mixing ratio and type of fine aggregate, and the results can be summarized as follows. As fire resistance characteristics, all plain crushed sands prevented spalling regardless of increase in mixing ratio of PP fiber. Mixtures other than the plain showed satisfactory spalling prevention when 0.05 % or more of PP fiber was mixed. After the fire resistance experiment, the plain showed 5.5 % of mass loss rate when fiber was not mixed and others could not be measured. According to increase in mixing ratio of fiber, river sand with fineness modulus of 2.2 showed most satisfactory result of 34 %${\sim}$42 %. Mass loss rate after fire resistance experiment was most satisfactory at about 10 % in the plain crushed sand without mixing of fiber, and all other mixes with 0.05 % PP fiber or more showed 5${\sim}$10 % loss rate.

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate properties of unsaturated polyester mortar using the shale as find aggregates. To evaluate properties of unsaturated polyester mortar using crushed sand from Black shale, Red shale, Gray shale, we peformed the experiment according the F/B ratio of 25, 30, 35% and the volume of fine aggregate of 50, 53, 56%. The Result of this study is as follows. the strength of unsaturated polyester mortar is higher than those of river sand. The F/B ratio is higher and the volume of find aggregate is lower, the strength of unsaturated polyester mortar is higher

  • Recently, the river sands are in short supply. Gathering sea-sand will be faced with difficulty. Alternative aggregates for concrete are estimated by many researchers. The aggregates are blast furnace slag, steel slag, copper slag, ferro-nickel slag and recycled aggregate and etc. Nevertheless steel slag has been limited in practical use due to its expansibility which is occurred reaction with water and free CaO in slag. Most recently stable management method is to minimize the expansibility researched and developed. First of all, slump, air content, compressive strength and flexural strength are measured in concrete. An estimate is made of the segregation of concrete containing atomized steel slag by Image Analyser program.

  • This paper investigates the utilization of waste tyre crumb rubber as the fine aggregate in precast concrete Paving block (PCPB). PCPB's are generally preferred for city roads, pedestrian crosswalk, parking lots and bus terminals. The main aim of this paper is to evaluate the mechanical properties of wet cast PCPB containing waste tyre crumb rubber. The mechanical properties were investigated using a density, compressive strength, split tensile strength and flexural strength tests at 7, 28 56 days according to the IS 15688:2006 and EN1338. The wet cast method was followed for producing PCPB samples. The fine aggregate (river sand) was replaced with waste tyre crumb in percentage of 5%, 10%, 15%, 20% and 25% by volume. All the test results were compared with the conventional PCPB (Without rubber). The test results indicate its feasibility for incorporating waste tyre crumb rubber in the production of PCPB by the wet cast method.

  • Recently, as quality river aggregates like sands and gravels become scarce, use of crushed stones and sands, seashore sands, and seashore gravels is increasing abruptly. And, aggregates recycled from slags and waste concretes are used. However, since the converter slag easily expands and breaks due to free lime, differently from the blast-furnace slag, it is not suitable for use as concrete aggregates. Since the atomized steel slag aggregate has slippery surface and spherical shape, the mortar flowing characteristics improved as the atomized steel slag content increases, without regard to the aggregates coarseness and water/cement ratio. The flow characteristics loss rate of the mortar manufactured from steel slag aggregates was similar to that of the mortar manufactured from washed sand only. The compact strength of the mortar manufactured from coarse PS Ball were larger than that manufactured from washing sand only.

  • The objective of this study is to analyze the degree of surface-glossing of cement mortar with the grading of aggregate and contents of limestone powder. According to the experimental results, degree of surface-glossing of cement mortar using river sand is higher than that of crushed sand. As F.M of aggregates is less than 2.78, degree surface-flossing of cement mortar has better performance, Also, as the contents of limestone power increase, degree of surface-flossing is shown to be improved, And it shows that degree of surface-glossing decrease with elapse of age.

  • The concrete with continuous voids (No Fine Concrete ; NFC) is the new planting material which may be used for stabilizing the sandy slope of river or road sides. The components of NFC are mainly coarse aggregate and low alkali cement paste, so to speak fine aggregate is not used. This report shows the fundamental properties of NFC, such as continous void ratio, compressive strength, permeability. As experimental results we can get the good quality of NFC, that is about 28% continuous void ratio, about 120kg/$\textrm{cm}^2$ compressive strength and high flowable permeability. And also planting grass and garden portulaca on the concrete with continuous voids is resulted in success.

폴리프로필렌섬유보강 포러스 폴리머 콘크리트의 특성 (Properties of Porous Polymer Concrete Reinforced Polypropylene Fiber)

  • Porous polymer concrete can be applied to roads, sidewalks, river embankment, drain pipes, conduits, retaining walls, yards, parking lots, plazas, interlocking blocks, etc. This study is to examine a content ratio of polypropylene fiber to improve bending strength, impact resistance and freezing and thawing rssistance of porous polymer concrete. Also, this study is performed to develop the porous polymer concrete using recycled coarse aggregate and blast furnace slag for application of structures needed permeability. At 7 days of curing, compressive strength, flexural strength, water permeability and flexural load are in the ragge of $17\~21MPa,\;5\~7MPa,\;4.1\times10^{-2}\~7.7\times10^{-2}cm/s$, respectively. It is concluded that the recycled aggregate can be used in the porous polymer concretes.
