북한 천연가스산업과 석탄산업 투자에 따른 경제적 파급효과 (The Economic Effect of Industrial Investment on North Korea Natural Gas and Coal)

  • 현재 북한은 국제사회와의 마찰로 인한 경제제재와 에너지 생산 감소로 산업생산력 저하라는 경제위기를 겪고 있다. 본 논문에서는 북한의 경제회복과 에너지산업 협력을 위해 필요한 천연가스산업과 석탄산업의 기술현황과 에너지 산업 투자 방안에 대해 분석하였고, 에너지 산업 투자가 남북한에 미치는 경제적 파급 효과를 계산 하였다. 북한의 경제적 파급효과를 분석하기 위하여 2014년도 산업연관표(북한)를 작성하였고, 투입-산출모형을 이용하였다. 천연가스산업과 석탄산업 투자의 파급효과는 각각 10.12억 달러, 27.42억 달러이다. 또한, 남한의 경제에 미치는 파급 효과를 분석하기 위해 2013년 산업연관표(남한)와 산업연관분석의 수요유도형 모형을 이용하였다. 천연가스 및 석탄 산업 투자의 생산유발효과, 부가가치유발효과, 취업유발효과는 각각 2.02073, 0.62697, 8.99409, 2.02130, 0.62701, 9.00413으로 계산되었다.

  • 플라이휠 에너지 저장 장치(Flywheel Energy Storage System, FESS)은 회전 운동 에너지를 저장하는 플라이휠 부분과 저장된 회전 에너지를 전기 에너지로 변환시키는 전동기/발전기 부분으로 구성된다. 일반적으로 플라이휠의 회전축은 전동기 및 발전기의 회전축과 동축 일체형으로 연결되고, 이때 전동기 및 발전기의 전자기 토크특성에 따른 동특성 변화는 전체 플라이휠 에너지 저장 장치의 충방전 특성과 기계적인 출력에 영향을 미친다. 본 논문에서는 5[kWh] 급 플라이휠 에너지 저장 장치 용 3상 유도전동기의 설계방법과 회전자 슬롯 수 변화에 따른 토크리플 특성과 고조파 영향을 중점적으로 분석하였다. 먼저, 플라이휠 에너지 저장 장치의 용량과 관성 모멘트에 의한 회전운동에너지의 관계식으로부터 플라이휠 크기와 전동기의 회전자 크기를 산정하는 방법을 제안하였다. 또한 플라이휠 에너지 저장 장치의 회전축의 고속구동 조건을 반영하여, 고속운전 영역에서의 전동기 토크리플 저감을 위한 유도전동기 회전자 슬롯수를 선정하였다. 이로부터 본 논문에서는 전동기 회전축과 동축으로 구성된 플라이휠의 소음 진동을 줄이고 고효율 충방전 특성을 구현하고자 한다.

  • This paper proposes a MPC (Model Predictive Control) method for the torque and flux controls of induction motor. The proposed MPC method selects the optimized voltage vector for the matrix converter control using the predictive modeling equation of the induction motor and cost function. Hence, the reference voltage vector that minimizes the cost function of the torque and flux error within the control period is selected and applied to the actual system. As a result, it is possible to perform the torque and flux control of induction motor using only the MPC controller without a PI (Proportional-Integral) or hysteresis controller. Even though the proposed control algorithm is more complicated and has lots of computations compared with the conventional MPC, it can perform torque ripple reduction by synthesizing voltage vectors of various magnitude. This feature provides the reduction of amount of calculations and the improvement of the control performance through the adjustment of the number of the unit vectors n. The proposed control method is validated through the PSIM simulation.

인터넷에서 행동 수정 이론을 적용한 체중 감량 상담 방법 개발 (Development of Nutritional Counseling for Weight Reduction based on behavior modification through Internet)

  • The purpose of the study was to develop an internet nutritional counseling program using an expert system to assist obese people to lose weight through behavior modification. The internet counseling program for weight loss was developed by the accumulation of knowledge dealing with eating habits and exercising behaviors in expert system tool, Knowledge Engineering Agent (KEA) by a dietitian without any help of computer expert. To accumulate knowledge into KEA, survey was performed in 150 obese people, dietitians reviewed and consulted each survey case, and the consulted contents were learned and accumulated into KEA. Survey questionnaire was the same as that of the internet consulting program, and it included general characteristics, dietary habits, lifestyle, and exercise patterns related to obesity. Also, the dietitian selected proper factors inferred from the survey questionnaire of each case, and added the conclusions for them. Conclusions were made for helping clients to correct bad eating behaviors and accumulate good behaviors to lose weight. Counseling was divided into two parts; a two-week part and a daily part. Two-week counseling was performed based on 4 step questionnaires, and daily counseling was done for daily food consumption and physical activity. When clients answered survey questionnaires in a counseling internet program, the recommendations on how to eat, to exercise and to deal with stress in a real time for each case, was given. In conclusion, a counseling internet program for weight reduction can be used to give advices how to deal with obesity in a man-to-man way in a real time using KEA where nutritional knowledge based on behavior modification for weight loss was accumulated.

인터리브드 RPWM Buck 컨버터의 전도성 노이즈 감소에 대한 연구 (Reduction of Conducted Emission in Interleaved RPWM Buck Converter)

  • 본 논문에서는 DC-DC Converter에서의 고조파로 인한 전자기적 잡음을 줄이기 위해 Random PWM을 적용한 Interleaved Buck Converter(IBC) 시스템을 제안한다. PWM 직류전원장치에서 스위칭 방식을 사용하는 경우 스위칭 손실 및 EMI 문제가 발생하기 때문에 많은 고조파를 포함하고 있어 선간 전압의 왜곡 등을 유발한다. 따라서 이에 대한 해결방법으로 PRBS를 이용한 IBC를 최초로 제안한다. 이 방식의 회로 구조는 2개의 능동형 스위치를 가지며 180도의 위상차를 갖는 2개의 PWM 신호를 이용하여 회로를 제어한다. IBC는 1세트의 스위치를 추가하기 때문에, 비용 측면 등에서는 불리 할 수 있으나 전력분배, 출력전류 리플 감소, 빠른 회로 반응속도, 수동소자크기 감소의 이점을 가진다. 본연구의 타당성을 확인하기 위하여 PSIM 시뮬레이터를 이용하였고 Random PWM을 적용한 IBC 회로를 설계하여 기존의 PWM과 RPWM 방식만을 사용하는 Buck-converter 회로를 PSIM 시뮬레이터를 이용하여 결과를 확인하고 분석하였다.

RF 노이즈 내성을 가진 OLED 디스플레이용 2-채널 DC-DC 변환기 (2-Channel DC-DC Converter for OLED Display with RF Noise Immunity)

  • 본 논문은 통신기기에서 유입 되는 RF 노이즈에 대해 내성을 가진 OLED용 2-채널 DC-DC 변환기를 제안한다. RF 신호 내성을 위해, 입력전압 변동만큼 감쇠시키는 입력전압 변동감쇠 회로가 내장된다. 양의 전압 VPOS를 출력하는 부스트 변환기는 SPWM-PWM 듀얼모드로 동작하고, 데드 타임을 제어함으로써 전력 효율을 제고한다. VNEG를 출력하는 인버팅 차지펌프는 2-상 출력 구조로 VCO를 이용한 PFM으로 동작해 작은 리플을 갖도록 설계된다. 0.18 ㎛ BCDMOS 공정으로 시뮬레이션 한 결과, 부스트 변환기 출력전압의 오버슈트와 언더슈트는 10 mV에서 각각 2 mV, 5 mV로 감소하였다. 또한, 2-채널 DC-DC 변환기의 전력효율은 39%~93%을 가졌고, 데드 타임 제어기를 적용한 부스트 변환기의 효율은 종전보다 최대 3% 증가하였다.

  • This paper presents a result of the mechanical noise and vibration analysis as well as the electrical characteristics analysis of the permanent magnet(PM) motor according to the driving method that is Brushless DC(BLDC) drive and Brushless AC(BLAC) drive. To do that, the characteristics of the PM motor, which have the same output power but different driving method, are investigated. At that time, the characteristics such as torque, torque ripple and flux density, and so on, are obtained by finite element analysis(FEA). Besides, noise and vibration are obtained by spectrum analysis. The magnetic noise is defined as noise generated from vibrations due to electromagnetic excitation force. In this paper, the electromagnetic excitation force is analyzed and design process of noise reduction is proposed. Finally, The validity of the analysis results is verified by test.

An Optimized Stacked Driver for Synchronous Buck Converter

  • Half-rail stacked drivers are used to reduce power consumption of the drivers for synchronous buck converters. In this paper, the stacked driver is optimized by matching the average charging and discharging currents used by high-side and low-side drivers. By matching the two currents, the average intermediate bias voltage can remain constant without the aid of the voltage regulator as long as the voltage ripple stays within the window defined by the hysteresis of the regulator. Thus the optimized driver in this paper can minimize the power consumption in the regulator. The current matching requirement yields the value for the intermediate bias voltage, which deviates from the half-rail voltage. Furthermore the required capacitance is also reduced in this design due to decreased charging current, which results in significantly reduced die area. The detailed analysis and design of the stacked driver is verified through simulations done using 5V MOSFET parameters of a typical 0.35-${\mu}m$ CMOS process. The difference in power loss between the conventional half-rail driver and the proposed driver is less than 1%. But the conventional half-rail driver has excess charge stored in the capacitor, which will be dissipated in the regulator unless reused by an external circuit. Due to the reduction in the required capacitance, the estimated saving in chip area is approximately 18.5% compared to the half-rail driver.

A Bidirectional Three-level DC-DC Converter with a Wide Voltage Conversion Range for Hybrid Energy Source Electric Vehicles

  • In order to meet the increasing needs of the hybrid energy source system for electric vehicles, which demand bidirectional power flow capability with a wide-voltage-conversion range, a bidirectional three-level DC-DC converter and some control strategies for hybrid energy source electric vehicles are proposed. The proposed topology is synthesized from Buck and Boost three-level DC-DC topologies with a high voltage-gain and non-extreme duty cycles, and the bidirectional operation principle is analyzed. In addition, the inductor current ripple can be effectively reduced within the permitted duty cycle range by the coordinated control between the current fluctuation reduction and the non-extreme duty cycles. Furthermore, benefitting from duty cycle disturbance control, series-connected capacitor voltages can also be well balanced, even with the discrepant rise and fall time of power switches and the somewhat unequal capacitances of series-connected capacitors. Finally, experiment results of the bidirectional operations are given to verify the validity and feasibility of the proposed converter and control strategies. It is shown to be suitable for hybrid energy source electric vehicles.

  • In variable speed driving system of three phase induction motor controlled by an inverter, because of the switching of semiconductor devices in inverter, an appreciable amount of harmonic components of voltage waveform can cause the motor to generate losses, torque ripple, acoustic noise and oscillation of semiconductor devices. In this paper a new PAM type PWM inverter using IGBT is described. The output waveforms in the proposed PAM type PWM inverter are investigated both theoretiically and experimentally. The line-voltage waveform is composed of fundamental component and the sidebands of carrier frequency. The lower order harmonics are not included in the output wave form. As each inverter arm does not operate during two-thirds period, the heats, generated in the devices are reduced. That is, the size of the inverter system can he minimized because of the reduction in the heat dissipating equipment.
