필라테스 운동이 젊은 여성의 등속성 하지 근력과 밸런스에 미치는 영향 (The effect of pilates exercises on isokinetic muscular strength and balance in lower limb's for young aged women)

  • 본 연구는 젊은 여성을 대상으로 필라테스 운동이 하지 근력과 밸런스에 미치는 영향을 규명하는데 연구 목적을 두고 실시하였다. 20명의 젊은 여성들을 대상으로 통제군 10명, 필라테스 운동군 10명으로 2개 집단을 분류하여 실험 절차에 따라 진행하였다. 필라테스 운동군은 운동프로그램에 따라 주 3회의 빈도로 매 회 60분, 총 8주 동안 운동을 실시하였다. 통제군과 필라테스 운동군은 실험 전 후로 신체구성 측정과 하지 등속성 근력 측정, 신체 밸런스 측정을 하였다. 측정한 자료를 통계적으로 분석한 결과 다음과 같은 결론을 얻었다. 필라테스 운동 집단이 운동 실시 8주 후, 신체구성 변화에서 근육량이 유의한 증가가 있었다(p<.01). 슬관절 근 기능 변화에서는 $60^{\circ}/sec$에서 오른쪽 신근 최대근력과 오른쪽 신근 총 일량이 5% 수준에서 유의한 증가가 있었다(p<.05). 또한 $180^{\circ}/sec$에서는 왼쪽 굴근 최대근력이 5% 수준에서 유의한 증가가 있었다(p<.05). 마지막으로 밸런스의 변화에서는 집단 내 비교에서 오른발 밸런스에서(p< .01), 공분산분석 결과에서는 양발과 오른발 밸런스 변화에서 통계적으로 유의한 증가가 있었다(p<.05). 결론적으로 8주 동안의 필라테스 운동은 신체구성과 하지 등속성 근력과 밸런스에 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 확인되었다.

  • The purpose of this study Was to describe balance performance of 10 normal children and 10 adults using tilt board under three tasks 1) eyes open with gazing stationary target, 2)eyes dosed, and 3) eyes open with gazing dynamic target. The results were as follows. 1. As increasing the number of trials, balance performance was inclosed, specially, in children group. 2. In children group, there was significant difference between right side and left side in task 2 and task 3.3. In both group. there was significant difference between task2 and task3. 4. There was no difference between adults group and children group.

  • Background: To determine effects of mobilization with movements (MWM) application on stroke patient with hypomobility on sacroiliac joint. Methods: The subject was 47years old male who have left hemiplegia because of right intra-cerebral hemorrhage. The subject was have hypomobility on sacroiliac joint. MWM using during 4weeks and using Berg balance scale (BBS), Timed up and go (TUG), 10meter walking (10MW) test for evaluation. Results: The results of this study were summarized below; BBS score for evaluating balance ability was increased, and TUG time, 10MW test time was decrease. Conclusion: We consider that MWM application on stroke patient with hypomobility on sacroiliac joint is not only regain mobility on sacroiliac joint but also increase in balance ability and walking speed.

고대(古代) 마애삼존불(磨崖三尊佛)에서 찾는 삼재(三才)와 부등변삼각(不等邊三角)의 미학(美學) - 서산마애삼존불의 형식미를 중심으로 - (Aesthetics of Samjae and Inequilateral Triangle Found in Ancient Triad of Buddha Carved on Rock - Centering on Formative Characteristics of Triad of Buddha Carved on Rock in Seosan -)

  • 본 연구는 서산마애삼존불을 중심으로 삼국시대 조성된 마애삼존불상 조형에 담겨진 비례미 등 구성적 원리가 어떻게 표현되고 있는지를 확인함으로써 전통 석조 방식의 하나인 삼존석조의 구축 및 응용을 위한 기초자료 구축을 모색하였다. 총 17개 마애삼존불의 크기 및 비율 분석 결과, 본존불의 평균 전고는 2.96m, 우협시는 2.19m, 좌협시는 2.16m였다. 이에 따른 높이비는 100:75:75로 좌우 대칭균형의 관계를 보였고, 좌우협시의 면적비는 13.4:16.7 로 우협시의 면적비가 높았다. 서산마애삼존불은 용현계곡의 삼불교를 건너 인암(印岩) 바위에 새겨져 있으며, 좌향은 방위각 $S47^{\circ}E$로 측정되었다. 이는 예배자의 눈부심을 차단하면서 햇빛의 방향에 따른 불상의 이미지 변화와 미감을 노린 것으로 판단된다. 서산마애불의 도상적 특징은 반가상과 봉지보주형 보상입상을 협시도 하고 있으며, 좌우비대칭형의 삼존 구성임에도 불구하고 동일한 선과 형태가 반복되는 가운데 통일성을 보임으로서 안정된 시각적 균형을 보이고 있다. 특히 서산마애삼존불의 경우, 본존불과 좌협시 그리고 우협시의 전고는 각각 2.80m, 1.66m, 1.70m였다. 좌우협시불의 높이비는 0.60:0.62로 거의 대등한 반면 면적비는 28.8:25.2로 보다 큰 차이를 보여 평면상의 면적비가 삼재미적 비례에 더욱 근접한 것으로 파악되었다. 광배 중심의 사윗각비는 88:44:48로 직각에 가까운 반면 연화좌 중심 사윗각의 비는 127:30:23으로 측정됨으로서 둔각에 가까운 부등변삼각형의 형태를 보였다. 따라서 서산마애삼존불의 상부와 하부는 직각과 둔각의 부등변삼각형의 각도 비례를 통한 대응적 관계를 유지하는 가운데 안정적 비례감을 취하고 있다. 상반부의 거리비는 0.51:0.36:0.38인 반면 하반부의 거리비는 0.53:0.33:0.27로 보다 부등변삼각형에 가까운 모습을 보이면서 상하 좌우대칭의 비대칭균형을 이루고 있다. 서산마애삼존불을 대상으로 삼재미의 관계를 살펴본 결과, 길이비 보다는 면적비나 삼각도형을 이루는 각도비가 더욱 두드러져 나타났다. 각 불상 상호간의 높이 및 면적비 못지않게 상부 광배와 하부 연화좌를 중심으로 형성되는 부등변삼각이 이루는 구도는 삼재간의 구성적 아름다움을 배가시키는 매우 중요한 내부적 동인이 되고 있다.

동력학 모델을 이용한 인체 동작 제어 (Human Motion Control Using Dynamic Model)

  • In this paper, We performed the human body dynamic modelling for the realistic animation based on the dynamical behavior of human body, and designed controller for the effective control of complicate human dynamic model. The human body was simplified as a rigid body which consists of 18 actuated degrees of freedom for the real time computation. Complex human kinematic mechanism was regarded as a composition of 6 serial kinematic chains : left arm, right arm, support leg, free leg, body, and head. Based on the this kinematic analysis, dynamic model of human body was determined using Newton-Euler formulation recursively. The balance controller was designed in order to control the nonlinear dynamics model of human body. The effectiveness of designed controller was examined by the graphical simulation of human walking motion. The simulation results were compared with the model base control results. And it was demonstrated that, the balance controller showed better performance in mimicking the dynamic motion of human walking.

Immediate Effect of Anterior-to-posterior Talocrural Joint Mobilization with Elastic Taping on Balance Ability in Stroke Patients

  • PURPOSE: Stroke patients have reduced balance ability due to a lack of motion in the ankle joint. Elastic taping assists movement, and joint mobilization, a form of passive movement, enhances mobility. The purpose of this study was to determine the immediate effects on balance ability after anterior-to-posterior (A-P) talocrural joint mobilization combined with elastic taping in stroke patients. METHODS: Twenty stroke patients were divided into two groups: a joint mobilization with taping group (experimental group, n=10) and an elastic taping only group (control group, n=10). The experimental group underwent anteroposterior mobilization of the talus and elastic tape was applied to the calf and tibialis anterior muscles. The control group had elastic tape applied. Dynamic balanced abilities were assessed by using the BioRescue system. After 30 minutes of intervention, the forward, backward, left side, and right side sway areas ($mm^2$) were measured. RESULTS: Only the experimental group showed a significant increase in forward sway area after intervention. However, no significant differences were detected between the two groups. CONCLUSION: This study shows that A-P talocrural joint mobilization combined with elastic taping has a positive effect, producing an immediate increase in the forward balance ability of stroke patients. However, this study did not examine joint mobilization alone. In subsequent studies, it is necessary to examine the effect of joint mobilization only on balance in stroke patients.

완전이식형 인공심장의 좌,우 심박출량 균형의 개선에 관한 연구 (A New Method for Enhancement of Right-Left Pump Output Balance in the Totally Implantable Artificial Heart)

  • 이동형 작동기 방식의 완전이식형 인공심장을 대상으로 부가적인 체적보상실(compliance chamber)이 필요없는 새로운 균형적 심방압 유지방법을 개발하였다. 이동작동기으 lqleocld 원주운동을 통하여 좌우심박출의 균형을 유지할 수 있었으며, 두 시실 사이의 공간에 존재하는 공기가 심박출량 차이를 보상하도록 고안되었다. 인공심장 표면이 가변적인 부분은 좌우 심박출량의 균형 보상을 도와주게 된다. 그러나 인공심장 표면의 가변성을 높일 경우, 전체 심박출량의 감소를 유발할 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 두 심실사의 공기량을 조절하여 좌우 심박출량의 균형 및 전체 심박량에 대하여 좋은 조건을 모의 순환 실험을 통하여 결정하였다. 새로운 인공심장은 63kg의 양에 이식하여 3일간 생존하였으며, 생존기간중 평균심박출량은 4.21/min 이었으며, 심방압은 15mmHg 이하로 유지되었다.

폐결핵에 의한 전폐자가절제 환자에서의 흉부 자상 치험 1례- (Penetrating Chest Trauma in Autopneumonectomy Status due to Pulmonary Tuberculosis : 1 Case Report)

  • Penetrating chest trauma by stab injury may result in massive hemothorax from damage to single or multiple intrathoracic organs such as heart, aorta, internal mammary artery, intercostal artery or pulmonary parenchyme. Prognosis of massive hemothorax necessitating emergency thoracotomy is fatal especially so if there exists concomitant underlying compromise of cardiopulmonary function. A 56 year old man with destroyed left lung due to old pulmonary tuberculosis was stabbed in right parasternal lesion through third intercostal space. Intubation with cardiopulmonary resuscitation and closed thoracostomy were performed to resuscitate from cardiac asystole from hemorrhagic shock and acute respiratory distress. Midsternotomy was made to expose active bleeding foci in right mammary artery, subclavian vein, intercostal artery and anterior segment of right upper lung showing severe bullous change and pleural adhesion. Postoperative care included ventilator support, inotropic instillation and cautious, balance fluid therapy ; successful extubation was done on third postoperative day and patient was discharged on tenth postoperative day without any complication.

요부안정화운동이 청소년기 특발성 척추 측만증 환자의 균형능력과 요부근지구력에 미치는 효과(Pilot study) (The effects of Lumbar Stabilization Exercise on Balance Ability and Lumbar Trunk Muscle Endurance in Patients with Adolescent Idiopathic Scoliosis(Pilot study))

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of lumbar stabilization exercise on balance ability in patients with adolescent idiopathic scoliosis. Methods: This study was one group pretest-posttest design. Twenty young idiopathic scoliosis patients were recruited for this study. They had the lumbar stabilization exercise program for 40 minutes a day, three times per week for 3 weeks. The lumbar trunk muscle endurance test and clinical balance tests (functional forward reach, functional lateral reach, Fukuda 50-stepping, one leg standing with eyes open and eyes closed) were measured before and after the lumbar stabilization exercise. Results: There were significant differences between pre-and post-test in absolute value of the difference between right and left lateral reach, distance of Fukud 50-stepping and one leg standing on the each side with eyes closed(p<.05). The results showed that the lumbar trunk muscle endurance significantly increased(p<.05). Conclusion: In this study indicated that the lumbar stabilization exercise was effective on balance ability and lumbar trunk muscle endurance in patients with young idiopathic scoliosis.

The Effects of Visual Biofeedback Balance Training on Functional Ability in Children with Cerebral Palsy : A Pilot Study

  • PURPOSE: The purpose of this study is to examine the impact of balance training on a three-dimensional balance trainer that provides the up-and-down vertical movement of the knee joint and left-and-right horizontal movement, along with visual feedback on the functional ability of children with spastic cerebral palsy (CPs). METHODS: 8 CPs participated in this study. The experiment was implemented for 40 minutes, three times a week for a total of six weeks. The subjects received general physiotherapy for 15 minutes in each session focused on balance and walking, as based on the neuro-developmental treatment theory. Balance training was performed for 20 minutes on a three-dimensional balance trainer where knee joint movement providing visual feedback is applied. The evaluations were conducted before and after the test, and posture sway was measured using 10 Meter Walking Test (10MWT), Timed Up & Go Test (TUG), and the Good Balance System to evaluate the functional ability and balance of the subjects RESULTS: 10MWT was not statistically significant (p>.05). On the contrary, TUG and postural sway indicate static balance showed a statistically significant decrease (p<.05). In a static balance test using the Good Balance System, the average moving speed statistically significantly decreased in the AP and ML directions (p<.05), and the mean velocity moment also significantly decreased (p<.05). CONCLUSION: These findings suggested that balance training using the three-dimensional balance trainer, with the features of visual feedback and up-and-down knee joint movement effects on increasing dynamic and static balance.
