Objectives : The objective of this review is to examine the variety of evaluation parameters utilized in clinical trials that assess the anticancer efficacy of herbal medicine, focusing on the importance of including both symptomatic management and direct anticancer effectiveness. Methods : A detailed literature review was conducted across PubMed, Embase, and the Cochrane Library to identify clinical trials investigating the antitumor efficacy of herbal medicine. The search was performed on February 22, 2024. This review specifically examined the employed outcome measures, which were then categorized and analyzed to understand their relevance and application in evaluating the anticancer properties of herbal medicine. Results : From an initial search of 900 records, 15 clinical trials were selected for in-depth analysis after deduplication and screening. These studies evaluated the efficacy of herbal medicine across various cancers, including hepatocellular carcinoma, colorectal cancer, and breast cancer, using outcome measures such as survival rates, disease control rates, and quality of life improvements. The research spanned multiple countries, primarily in East Asia and the United States, reflecting a global interest in herbal medicine as a complementary approach to cancer treatment. The present study demonstrated that herbal medicine, especially when used alongside standard treatments, potentially improved clinical outcomes and patient well-being. Conclusions : The findings of this review highlight the need for a broader focus on the full range of therapeutic capabilities of herbal medicine, including its direct anticancer effects, in the management of cancer patients. Future oncology research involving herbal medicine should integrate a wide spectrum of clinical endpoints to fully ascertain its impact on cancer treatment and patient health.

본 연구에서는 우리 나라 M-Commerce산업에 대한 개요 파악 및 환경변화를 분석한 후, 향후 국내 M-Commerce산업의 경쟁력 강화방안을 제시하였다. 이에 따른 방향은 첫째, 커뮤니티나 오락성보다는 기능성에 초점을 맞추어야 하며, 둘째, "표준(Defacto Standard)은 시장이 만든다"라는 원칙에 충실하여야 한다. 셋째, 기존 PC 중심의 유선 인터넷의 연장선상이 아니라 새로운 비즈니스영역으로 파악되도록 하여야 하며, 넷째, M-Commerce의 핵심요건은 "인터넷 편의점", "킬링타임으로서의 5분 컨텐츠"가 되도록 하여야 하며, 다섯째, 컨텐츠를 유료화할 수 있는 전략이 필요하다는 점이다.

The interest in wine has been increasing because of raised standard of living, increased leisure time, raised interest in health. Therefore, a few wine related tourism product has introduced to public including wine train to Young-dong region and overseas wine tour package. This study focused on motivation to visit overseas wine tour package in order to segment target wine tourism countries. As a result, three different markets were segmented and they showed different characteristics with regard to demographics, tourism behavior, and preferred wine tourism countries.

For decades, the standard technique for tracheostomy was the open, surgical technique. However, during the past 20 years, the use of percutaneous dilatational tracheostomy has been increased and shown to be a feasible and safe procedure in critically ill patients. The purpose of this report is to review the percutaneous dilatational tracheostomy technique, describe the role of bronchoscopy as guidance for the procedure, and identify the available evidences comparing percutaneous dilatational tracheostomy to surgical tracheostomy.

On the basis of the review of radiobiological date, a formalism is developed for the analysis and prediction of iso-effect relations for tissue tolerance, which can be used as an alternative to the norminal standard dose(NSD) formaula of Ellis and its derived equations. An important feature of the described formalism is that directly based on radiobiological insights and it provides a more logical concept to account for the diversity of tissue responses. The NSD concept has subsequently been extended to the formalisms of timedose-fractionation(TDF) value. The authors deriveded TDF equation on the basis NSD of Ellis. TDF=0.07(NSD)-26.

The purpose of this study is to review and to suggest improvement concerning floor impact noise section of the housing performance grading indication system. After a result, the main improvement is to resolve the discrepancies in the rules or regulations such as design specification(standard floor system) or design performance(accredited floor system) and as-built performance like 58 dB.

Ulnar collateral ligament injuries have been increasingly common in overhead throwing athletes. Ulnar collateral ligament reconstruction is the current gold standard for managing ulnar collateral ligament insufficiency, and numerous reconstruction techniques have been described. Although good clinical outcomes have been reported regarding return to sports, there are still several technical issues including exposure, graft selection and fixation, and ulnar nerve management. This review article summarizes a variety of surgical techniques of ulnar collateral ligament reconstructions and compares clinical outcomes and biomechanics.

To make 3D camera system, we check the possibility of advanced range camera module based on measuring the time delay of modulated infrared light, using a single detector chip fabricated on standard CMOS process. To depth information, electronic shutter and interlaced scanning method of 2D sensor is needed. Especially, we design "lens system, illumination unit" and review simulation result.

Supporting emergency services (ES) for VOIP services in the Internet is a critical feature. It requires international standards since the VOIP services over the Internet has no national boundaries. Recently, standard development organizations such as the IETF, the IEEE 802 committee and the WiMAX Forum (WMF) have worked on this issue. In this paper, we review and compare ES architectures proposed by the IETF and the WMF, and summarize the IEEE 802's relevant activities.
