Purpose: This study is purposed to analyze the curriculum on medical humanity and social science in foreign medical schools. The Main topics are classified into three parts: the characteristics of American medical humanity and social science curriculum: understanding of medical humanity and social science in medical school in USA, UK, and Australia: standard recommendations on medical ethics and professionalism in curriculum design. Methods: The literature reviews and on-line searching were conducted to collect the information and data on medical humanity and social science in foreign medical schools, 9 medical schools were selected in terms of reputations in USA, UK, and Australia. Results: First, American medical humanity and social science curriculum have changed, especially from cores to electives, from informal to formal and from subjects to interdisciplinary. In addition. teaching methods have changed into small-group discussion and teaching materials into various sources, such as essays, poetry, films and so forth. Second, most medical schools had their own unique curriculum adjusted to their academic traditions. Especially, curriculum of UK and Australia were more integrated than those of USA. Finally, it is recommended that standards of medical ethics and professionalism have to be considered in curriculum design. Conclusion: It is suggested that medical humanity and social science curriculum be designed closely connecting with clinical medicine.

Breast cancer is one of the major threats to female health, and its incidence is rapidly increasing in many countries. Currently, breast cancer is treated with surgery, followed by chemotherapy or radiation therapy, or both. However, a substantial proportion of breast cancer patients might have a risk for local relapse that leads to recurrence of their disease and/or metastatic breast cancer. Therefore searching for new and potential strategies for breast cancer treatment remains necessary. Immunotherapy is an attractive and promising approach that can exploit the ability of the immune system to identify and destroy tumors and thus prevent recurrence and metastatic lesions. The most promising and attractive approach of immunotherapeutic research in cancer is the blockade of immune checkpoints. In this review, we discuss the potential of certain inhibitors of immune checkpoints, such as antibodies targeting cytotoxic T-lymphocyte antigen 4 (CTLA-4), programmed death 1 (PD-1) and lymphocyte activation gene-3 (LAG-3), in breast cancer therapeutics. Immune checkpoint inhibitors may represent future standards of care for breast cancer as monotherapy or combined with standard therapies.

The purpose of this study is to review the process for the trade settlement system between all parties involved in the commercial transaction under SURF System. SURF application is the latest value added service from bolero.net and a fully automated documentary settlement system. It extends bolero.net's capability to enable trade transactions by providing a delivery versus payment system. It has been designed as a standard, shared, infrastructure component for handling trade settlement within an electronic environment to keep step with the operation of electronic Bolero bill of Lading. It exploits the services provided by the Bolero Core Messaging Platform - secure, guaranteed transactions based on boleroXML standards to provide document compliance services with optional bank guarantees. So, SURF system can automatically check all commonly used trade documents such as commercial invoices, bills of lading and certificates of weight and analysis, etc and supports a full range of settlement options including Open Account, Documentary Collections, Documentary Credit. 58 have key features as follows, ① automatic document compliance checking, ② integrated with the Title Registry, ③ supports various forms of vender financing, ④ governed by a set of legally binding rules, ⑤ fully prepared for Straight-Through-Processing, ⑥ Enabled compliance with UCP 500.

Speeding up of railway vehicles requires weight reduction of the vehicle body. However, when the vehicle body is lighter, the sound insulation performance for blocking the noise from the outside is reduced. Aluminum is an important material used in the bodywork of transportation vehicles such as railway vehicles, aircraft, and automobiles. In this study, the bending stiffness and sound insulation performance of foamed aluminum with sandwich structure are investigated experimentally. The transmission loss is measured in accordance with the international standard ASTM E 2249-02. The mass-law deviation is used to evaluate the sound insulation performance per weight. In order to examine the applicability of the foamed aluminum sandwich panel to railway vehicles, the analysis of bending stiffness and an experimental review are carried out at the same time.

Kimura's disease is a rare disease of unknown etiology, commonly presenting with slow-growing head and neck subcutaneous nodules. It primarily involves the head and neck region, presenting as deep subcutaneous masses and is often accompanied by regional lymphadenopathy and salivary gland involvement. Clinically it is often confused with a parotid tumor or lymph node metastasis. It is difficult to diagnose before surgery, and fine needle aspiration cytology has only limited value. Even though this disease has not shown any malignant transformation, it is often difficult to cope with because of its high recurrence rate. Surgery, steroids, and radiotherapy have been used widely as the first-line recommendation, but none of them is standard procedure until now because of high recurrence rates. The recurrence of the disease reported up to 62%. We recently experienced a case of Kimura's disease, not accompanying peripheral eosinophilia, on the parotid gland treated by surgical resection in an 82-year-old woman with polycythemia vera. Here, we report this case with a review of the literature.

Objectives : This study aims to present a new classification system using evaluation standards to ensure the safety of transport ventilators used in Korea. Due to the rapid advancement of technology, various types of ventilators have been developed and as the range of application increases, so does demand. With quick access to information and a growing economy, the technology used in Korean hospitals is equivalent to that of other countries; however, regulatory and safety consciousness are still lagging in Korea. Methods : Based on researching overseas cases, reference data and standards for improving the current system in Korea are proposed. Results : According to the review of transport ventilator use in Korea, it was found that concerns about safety is due to the absence of a standardized classification system for evaluating the safety and effectiveness of transport ventilators. Conclusions : In order to improve the safety of patients and the quality of medical care, it is essential to establish guidelines and assessment standards guaranteeing the safety of transport ventilators in Korea. Clear definitions and classifications for devices must precede the application of such standards. In addition, effective evaluation standards should be developed in order to resolve problems and improve upon the current system through continuous validation.

Pregnancy and puerperium are associated with significant changes in pschological and physiologic health status. Back and pelvic pain is common in pregnancy with prevalence figures in the range of $48\%-90\%$. The pain starts during pregnancy and often disappears soon after childbirth. But the prevalence of such pain four to six months post postpartum is report to be $25-40\%$. In $10-15\%$ of the case the pain become chronics, that is persisting for more than three months after childbirth. Low back pain and pelvic pain maybe caused by several factors related to changes that occur naturally during pregnancy. Changes in the center of gravity can create a strain on weight-bearing structures in bone. Pregnancy related hormones, relaxin, create general laxity of collagenous tissue. Another factor found to be a possible primary or contributing cause for law back and hip symptoms are leg length inequality, weight gain and changes in foot function. This article outlines the physiological and biomechanical changes that occur during pregnancy which have been reported to be possible causes of low back and pelvic pain And then, examination, diagnosis, evaluation and treatment of the woman during pregnancy are described. Standard treatment for low back pain and pelvic pain in pregnancy includes education in anatomy and kinesiology, back-strengthening exercise, training of the abdominal muscles and body posture correction. So, most woman during pregnancy require individual consultation and physiotherapist.

In these days, water environment is getting threatened by a variety of toxic pollutants discharged from industries. However, environmental standards and regulations in Korea may be in straitened circumstances to protect the water environment from it. Therefore, the purpose of this review is to compare the management state of the toxic substances in water environment and to present the framework for deriving water quality criteria in USA and Japan. To conserve the water environment from the toxic pollutants more efficiently, the following considerations could be suggested in standards and regulation in Korea. Firstly, there should be consistency of regulated pollutants in drinking water quality standard, water quality standards and permissible wastewater discharge standards. Secondly, in case of deriving the water quality standards, it is required to consider the conservation of the aquatic ecosystem as well as the protection of human health. Finally, it is indispensable to make risk-based approach in management of toxic pollutants in water environment.

Many institutes such as Bank of Korea, Samsung Economic Research Institute and Chamber of Commerce announced Entrepreneurship Index models. But, due to the arbitrary measurement model and the survey of each institute, there is a misled in the understanding and model of entrepreneurship. In addition, there is no research about comparative study of Entrepreneurship Index until now. In this study, we suggest our own Entrepreneurship Index model based on the literature review of Entrepreneurship Index. This model enables the objective measurement of Entrepreneurship Index. Above all, we suggest advantages and disadvantages of existing Entrepreneurship Index model systematically and the direction of Entrepreneurship Index.

The purpose of this study is to consider the works of Nick Knight, the most influential fashion visual maker, to find out the characteristics of his works. For the research method, literature reviews were done by studying his book, viewing the articles on his official web site, reading journal review of his works and his interview articles. For the work analysis, fashion brands 'Christian Dior', 'Alexander McQueen', 'Martin Margiela', 'Hussein Chalayan' and 'Gareth Pugh' that have worked with Nick Knight were selected. The characteristics of his fashion works were derived from overall analysis of fashion visual works. The characteristics of Nick Knight's works are as follows. First is the 'innovation of image expression'. He used digital infra in advance and introduced digital images at the initial stage. He used fashion films as the means of communication and tried new image expressions in 3D. Second is 'breaking down the boundaries of creating process'. He worked with various field experts to make high quality works. He invited the public to participate in his creative process through the internet. Third is 'breaking down the categories of aesthetic expression'. He provided a wide variety of aesthetic standard and refused aesthetic stereotype. He broke the boundaries between fashion and art with a unique technique and high values.
