Fast Mobile IPv6에서 Route Optimization 성능 향상에 관한 연구 (A Study on Performance Improvement of Route Optimization in Fast Mobile IPv6)

  • Mobile IPv6(MIPv6)에서 핸드오버가 수행된 후에 Mobile Node(MN)와 Correspondent node(CN)간에 직접 통신하기 위해 RO(Route Optimization)이 수반되어야 하며 이를 위해서는 Binding Update(BU)전에 Return Routability(RR) 과정이 수행되어야 한다. Fast Handover for Mobile IPv6(FMIPv6)에서도 RO를 사용하기 위해서는 MIPv6와 동일하게 Fast 핸드오버 후에 BU전에 RR 과정이 수행되어야 한다. 그러나 RR 과정을 수행하는데 소요되는 시간이 매우 길기 때문에 핸드오버에 많은 지연을 발생하게 한다. 따라서 본 논문은 FMIPv6에서 RO지연을 감소시킴으로써 FMIPv6에서 핸드오버 지연을 감소시키기 위한 방안을 제안한다.

  • IP 계층의 이동성 지원을 위한 기술인 Mobile IPv6이 상업망에 배치되면, 이동노드에 대한 인증, 권한부여 및 과금을 위한 AAA 서비스가 필요하게 된다. AAA와 Mobile IPv6은 서로 독립적으로 수행되는 프로토콜이다. 그래서 이 두 프로토콜을 연동시키는 방법들이 등장하게 되었다. 이러한 두 프로토콜의 연동 방법은 AAA 인증 요청 시에 이동노드와 홈에이전트 사이의 보안협약을 설립하게 할 수 있고, 이동성 지원을 위해 홈에이전트로의 바인딩 갱신 과정을 AAA 인증 요청과 동시에 수행하여 최적화할 수 있다. 하지만, Mobile IPv6의 Route Optimization 모드의 사용은 Return Routability 과정을 이용하기 때문에 여전히 많은 시그널 메시지의 사용과 지연시간을 야기하게 된다. 이러한 문제점을 해결하기 위하여 Route Optimization 모드를 최적화 하는 방법을 제안한다. 제안된 방법은 Route Optimization 모드를 위해서 Return Routability 과정을 수행하지 않고, 홈에이전트가 AAA 인프라를 통하여 상대노드에게 이동노드에 대한 바인딩 갱신을 수행하도록 한다. 제안된 방법은 Return Routability 과정을 수행하지 않으므로 시그널 메시지를 줄이고 핸드오버 지연시간을 단축시킬 수 있다. 제안된 방법의 성능평가를 위해서, 핸드오버 지연시간을 기존의 AAA와 Mobile IPv6 연동 방법들과 제안한 방법을 비교 분석하였으며, 기존 방법과 비교하여 제안하는 방법은 핸드오버 지연시간은 평균적으로 61% 단축시킬 수 있다.

  • The purpose of this study is to establish a crime prevention system through the Crime Prevention Through Environmental Design (CPTED). The research method went through the double diamond process and discovered the user's needs through the persona analysis. The most representative features are the functions that informs users of the safe and optimal route, checks the presence of streetlights or cctvs in real time to update them, and allows people with similar routs to return home together. It is a function to help safe return home with the help of an autonomous method, and a self-defense function to protect themselves. Therefore, the application presented in this study was intended to be of great help when actually returning home by adding these new functions. In particular, we help users to return home most safely by recommending the best safe route. Through the persona analysis, research method which we had chosen, the needs of users were discovered and implemented in a design that reflected those needs and requirements.

Design and Implementation of a Service Platform that Recommends the Optimal Shortest Distance as a Patrol Route

  • Recently, interest in living safety and crime prevention is increasing. The reality is that most women have anxiety about social safety and ultimately want a safe return to home. As a result of these issues, the Seoul Metropolitan Government and the National Police Agency are implementing various services to alleviate them. However, there are limitations such as that the service can be used only during a limited time or the process of checking whether the patrol is really completed is complicated. Therefore, in this paper, we propose a service platform that overcomes these limitations and suggests the best and shortest patrol route to the police based on the desired patrol location applied by citizens. It is designed based on the MVC pattern, and the functions are divided for each user. It is hoped that the platform will reduce crime rates and allow citizens to ultimately return home with peace of mind. Also we expect that the police will ablet to find places where they did not know about or need to patrol with more attention through the recommended route of the platform, which will be helpful in their task.

Space Radiation Measurement on the Polar Route onboard the Korean Commercial Flights

  • This study was performed by the policy research project of Ministry of Land, Transport and Maritime Affairs, which title is "Developing safety standards and management of space radiation on the polar route". In this research, total six experiments were performed using Korean commercial flights (B747). Three of those are on the polar route and the other three are on the north pacific route. Space radiation exposure measured on the polar route is the average 84.7 uSv. The simulation result using CARI-6M program gives 84.9 uSv, which is very similar to measured value. For the departure flight using the north pacific route, the measured space radiation is the average 74.4 uSv. It seems that is not so different to use the polar route or not for the return flight because the higher latitude effect causing the increase of space radiation is compensated by the shortened flight time effect causing decreasing space radiation exposure.

  • 본 논문에서는 기존의 폐쇄된 기업별 물류시스템의 한계를 극복하기 위한 열린 정보시스템 활용을 통한 기업 간 화물차 공유 원리를 적용하여 회차비용 감소 등의 물류비용 절감을 위한 물류합리화 모형을 개발하였다. 최근에 정보네트워크의 눈부신 발전과 정보인프라가 구축되어 있음에도 불구하고 대부분 국내 물류시스템 운영은 기업별 단독운영의 폐쇄적인 분배정책에 의존하고 있어 제품을 각 기업분배센터에서 소비지로 수송한 후 분배센터로 되돌아갈 때 높은 공차율 상태로 차량을 운영하고 있어 기업물류비용 증가의 원인이 되고 있는 물류효율화 및 혁신을 도모하기 위한 방안을 제시하였다. 특히, 본 연구에서는 분배시스템의 유통경로 중 기업의 분배센터와 제품의 소비지를 연결하는 수송단계에서의 공차율을 고찰하였으며 이를 통한 화물차공유 운용방식을 적용한 물류합리화 방안을 도출하였다.

거리 및 서비스율을 고려한 CCTV 안심귀가 서비스의 구현 (Implementation of CCTV Safe Return Home Service considering Distance and Service Rate)

  • 안심귀가 시스템은 서비스 의뢰인이 소지한 스마트 기기로부터 수신된 GPS 위치정보를 이용하여 의뢰인 근처의 CCTV 카메라들을 선택하고 제어함으로써, 의뢰인을 자동으로 추적하고 영상을 촬영한다. 이 서비스는 심야에 귀가하는 경로 상에 우범지역이 존재할 때 의뢰인의 안심귀가에 도움을 제공한다. 의뢰인을 촬영할 수 있는 CCTV 카메라들이 다른 의뢰인에 의하여 이미 점유되어 사용되는 경우, 새로운 의뢰인의 촬영을 위하여 점유된 CCTV 카메라의 양보가 필요하다. 본 논문에서는 의뢰인과 CCTV 카메라 사이의 평균 거리와 서비스율을 모두 고려한 개선된 방법을 제안한다. 그 결과, CCTV 카메라와 의뢰인간의 평균거리가 가깝게 유지되며, 서비스율도 개선된다.

Enhancement of Return Routability Mechanism for Optimized-NEMO Using Correspondent Firewall

  • Network Mobility (NEMO) handles mobility of multiple nodes in an aggregate manner as a mobile network. The standard NEMO suffers from a number of limitations, such as inefficient routing and increased handoff latency. Most previous studies attempting to solve such problems have imposed an extra signaling load and/or modified the functionalities of the main entities. In this paper, we propose a more secure and lightweight route optimization (RO) mechanism based on exploiting the firewall in performing the RO services on behalf of the correspondent nodes (CNs). The proposed mechanism provides secure communications by making an authorized decision about the mobile router (MR) home of address, MR care of address, and the complete mobile network prefixes underneath the MR. In addition, it reduces the total signaling required for NEMO handoffs, especially when the number of mobile network nodes and/or CNs is increased. Moreover, our proposed mechanism can be easily deployed without modifying the mobility protocol stack of CNs. A thorough analytical model and network simulator (Ns-2) are used for evaluating the performance of the proposed mechanism compared with NEMO basic support protocol and state-of-the-art RO schemes. Numerical and simulation results demonstrate that our proposed mechanism outperforms other RO schemes in terms of handoff latency and total signaling load on wired and wireless links.

A Novel Bio-inspired Trusted Routing Protocol for Mobile Wireless Sensor Networks

  • Routing in mobile wireless sensor networks (MWSNs) is an extremely challenging issue due to the features of MWSNs. In this paper, we present a novel bio-inspired trusted routing protocol (B-iTRP) based on artificial immune system (AIS), ant colony optimization (ACO) and Physarum optimization (PO). For trust mechanism, B-iTRP monitors neighbors' behavior in real time and then assesses neighbors' trusts based on AIS. For routing strategy, each node proactively finds routes to the Sink based on ACO. When a backward ant is on the way to return source, it senses the energy residual and trust value of each node on the discovered route, and calculates the link trust and link energy of the route. Moreover, B-iTRP also assesses the availability of route based on PO to maintain the route table. Simulation results show how B-iTRP can achieve the effective performance compared to existing state-of-the-art algorithms.

복합물류단지 조성에 따른 농산물 수출입 물류비용 절감에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Reduction of Import and Export Distribution Costs for Agricultural Products by Creating a Compound Logistics Complex)

  • Imported and exported agricultural products are facing a very difficult time due to the rising distribution costs spurred by the increasing labor and oil prices. High empty transfer rates, which take place on a return route after the regular transportation of imported and exported agricultural products, are especially a major cause of the rising distribution costs. In an effort to overcome those limitations, this study set out to examine the transportation stages connecting harbor warehouses, processing plants, and central distribution centers on the circulation route of such imported grains as wheat, barley, corn, and soybean and the transportation route from the warehouses devoted to exported agricultural products to harbors for such exported agricultural products as apple, pear, and persimmon in order to develop a model on the creation of a compound logistics complex for processing plants and transshipment of imported and exported agricultural products. The study also promoted the logistic rationalization of imported and exported agricultural products by creating a compound logistics complex that would combine processing plants for imported agricultural products and transshipment functions for exported agricultural products.
