  • Recently, As the desire of consumer gets complexed and demanding, business environment is they are rapidly changing to customer-oriented ones. In order to survive in an age of fierce competition with competitor encompassing changing and customer's needs of consumer company emphasizes market orientation to have a sustainability. It is necessary not only satisfy consumer but also to provide customer delight. We want to see if customer's loyalty can be increased by experiencing C/S and C/D. First, customer's loyalty influences repurchase intention after experiencing customer's satisfaction and customer's delight. Second, customer's satisfaction is influenced by customer's satisfaction level. Especially Joy is one of the most important factor affecting customers delight. Third, customer's loyalty is one of the most important factor affecting customer's satisfaction. Finally, through this study, it was found tha customer's satisfaction and customer's satisfaction improve the repurchase relationship which is crucial from customer's loyalty.

  • Unsaturated permeability function is an important factor in the design and analysis of various unsaturated soil structures. Generally the permeability characteristics decrease as the mat ric suction increases and the trend is similar to water retention characteristics of a soil. The permeability of unsaturated soils can be obtained directly by laboratory tests or indirectly by estimation methods from other soil properties. For unsaturated soils sampled from 7 areas in KOREA, SWCCs and unsaturated permeability functions were obtained by experimental tests. The unsaturated permeability results were also compared with the unsaturated permeability functions derived from the SWCCs theoretically. However, the current estimation models of unsaturated permeability function did not express the unsaturated permeability characteristics. Therefore, the FXK-M permeability function was modified to predict more accurate permeability functions for Korean weathered soils using a correction factor that can be calculated from the air-entry value of SWCC. The new estimation model resulted in good agreements for all tested soils.

  • Customer Satisfaction (CS) in Auto insurance market is the important factor which makes customer loyalty and retention increase. Recently On-line companies are threatening the existing Off-line companies with taking advantage of the low price through cut-offing the price by internet marketing. Therefore, the CS is becoming an indispensable survival strategy to the Off-line companies. Under these circumstances, this study finds out what the CS factors are in the auto insurance market, and produces levels of CS, customer loyalty and satisfaction Index of each category. The purpose of this study is to suggest the strategic improvement factor for elevating CS level and strategic direction for CS management by CS portfolio analysis based on the survey result.

  • The separation of tryptophan enantiomers was carried out with medium-pressure liquid chromatography using BSA (bovine serum albumin)-bonded silica as a chiral stationary phase. The influence of various experimental factors such as pH and ionic strength of mobile phase, separation temperature, and the presence of organic additives on the resolution was studied. In order to expand this system to preparative scale, the loadability of sample and the stability of stationary phase for repeated use were also examined. The separation of tryptophan enantiomers was successful with this system. The data indicated that a higher separation factor (a) was obtained at a higher pH and lower temperature and ionic strength in mobile phase. Addition of organic additives (acetonitrile and 2-propanol) in mobile phase contributed to reduce the retention time of L-tryptophan. About $30\%$ of the separation factor was reduced after 80 days of repeated use.

  • Existing numerical models for strain-hardening cement-based composites (SHCC) are short of providing sufficiently accurate solutions to the failure patterns of coupling beams of different designs. The objective of this study is to develop an effective model that is capable of simulating the nonlinear behavior of SHCC coupling beams subjected to cyclic loading. The beam model proposed in this study is a macro-scale plane stress model. The effects of cracks on the macro-scale behavior of SHCC coupling beams are smeared in an anisotropic model. In particular, the influence of the defined crack orientations on the simulation accuracy is explored. Extensive experimental data from coupling beams with different failure patterns are employed to evaluate the validity of the proposed SHCC coupling beam models. The results show that the use of the suggested shear stiffness retention factor for damaged SHCC coupling beams is able to effectively enhance the simulation accuracy, especially for shear-critical SHCC coupling beams. In addition, the definition of crack orientation for damaged coupling beams is found to be a critical factor influencing the simulation accuracy.

  • Water condensate accumulated on the surface of a fin-and-tube heat exchanger significantly affects its thermal and hydraulic performance. The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of condensate retention on the air-side heat transfer performance and flow friction. Total 12 samples of slit and plate fin-and-tube heat exchangers with varying fin spacing and number of tube rows are tested under dry and wet conditions. The thermal fluid measurements are made using a psychometric calorimeter. Frontal air velocity varies in the range from 0.7 m/s to 1.5 m/s. Using the experimental data, presented are the heat transfer coefficients in terms of Colburn j-factor and friction factor.

  • The aim of this paper is to examine the factors that could influence leadership development and employee retention in private sector organizations. In this research, we will seek to determine the nature and extent of the impact of professional training on leadership development. This research project is one of the new topics that some researchers have started in recent years. the novelty of this subject is the inclusion of the vocational training factor. This factor is likely to have a positive impact on leadership development. Some of the factors already known for their impact on leadership development such as personality, power, and material and moral incentives will be adopted. It is assumed that the results of this research will have a positive impact on the development of leadership within companies.

  • Many web-based learning systems have been developed and used widely. But it is known that web-based courses have higher drop out rate. Prior studies in classroom-based courses have shown there is a high correlation between student satisfaction and retention. This paper examines the developed web based self-regulated learning system and analyze self-regulated learning factors. We have derived key factors and their relationship that affect student satisfaction in web-based learning. The key factors are Self-evaluating, Goal setting & Planning, Seeking information, Seeking social assistance and Reviewing records. We found the key factors will help retention in web-based learning.

  • Purpose: This study aimed at applying a standardized nursing process to adult surgery patients of post anesthetic care unit, and examining the validity of linkages in the measuring index of nursing outcome by which nursing outcome was applied. Method: The subjects were 184 surgery adult patients admitted at the post anesthetic care unit of Y university hospital. This study was used the measured tool developed by Choi et al.(2004) and by Lee (2004) who had already verified a validity based on Johnson and Bulechek's study(2001). Results: The nursing diagnosis of an acute pain, an urinary retention, a nausea, a decreased cardiac output, an ineffective airway clearance and an ineffective airway clearance were used in taking care for patients. The related factors according to the main nursing diagnosis were as the following: an injurious physical factor in an acute pain, reflex are inhibition in an urinary retention, post surgical anesthesia in a nausea, stroke volume change in a decreased cardiac output, secretory stasis in an ineffective airway clearance, pain in an ineffective breathing pattern. Conclusion: The study results could be facilitated in nursing process application for nurses at post anesthetic care unit. Also this study would provide basic data to develop a computerized program for the improvement of nursing process application.
