There are carbonatiion, salt attack, freezing & thawing and alkali-aggregate reactions as the cautions of durability lowering of concret structure. Generally, these cautions complicatedly lower the durability of structure and among these cautions the most serious problem is salt attack and carbonation. This study is intending to get the carbonation phenominon, that among cement calcium hydroxides change into calcium carbonate by responding to carbon mitrogen in the air.

The influence of observations the on the goodness-of-fit test in maximum likelihood factor analysis is investigated by using the local influence method. under an appropriate perturbation the test statistic forms a surface. One of main diagnostics is the maximum slope of the perturbed surface the other is the direction vector cor-responding to the curvature. These influence measures provide the information about jointly influence measures provide the information about jointly influential observations as well as individ-ually influential observations.

This paper presents a review guideline for evaluating SERPs(standard emergency response procedure) in rail accidents. In order to develope it, design elements of the SERPs, that impact the performance of emergency responding personnel, were identified. Then several review guidelines and standards, being used in other industries including nuclear domain, were surveyed. Finally, the review guides and criteria corresponding to those elements were derived from the survey.

To fulfill recent requirements for high quality products in steel rolling process, fast responding and easily tunab control system is required and ILQ(Inverse Linear Quadratic) control system may be one of such alternatives. In this paper characteristics of ILQ control and its application to BUR(Back-Up-Roll) eccentricity in strip rolling mill is discussed and compared to polynomial control approaches. Also the rolling mill model and basic principle to control thickness of srip are introduced with control effect by polynomial methods.

In this paper we discuss what Competitive Intelligence means, why it is growing in importance in the business world and how Library and Information Science Schools in the United States are responding to the opportunities presented by Competitive Intelligence. A key element in the control of Automated Guided Vehicle Systems (AGVS) is dispatching policy. This paper proposes a new dispatching algorithm for an efficient operation of AGVS. Based on an evolutionary operation, it has an adaptive control capability responding to changes of the system environment. The performance of the algorithm is compared with some well-known dispatching rules in terms of the system throughput through simulation. Sensitivity analysis is carried out varying the buffer capacity and the number of AGVS.

In this paper the cases on accidents/incidents and the reporting/responding procedures of high-speed rail operating countries will be reviewed and what these suggest us will be identified, and those countries' efforts to secure the prompt rescue system will be reviewed and the plan to secure the more customized rescue and rehabilitation system taking account into circumstances of our high-speed railway accident/incident will be presented.
