TV사극 드라마 의상의 고증에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Historical Inquiry of TV Historical Drama Costumes)

  • Problems and improvemental measures for the historical inquiry of TV drama costumes and for the reproduction of them were investigated. For this study, the MBC historical drama 'The way of the Great King' started on march 24 in 1998 and ended on september 26 in 1998 was selected as the subject. The reasons why the drama was selected are as follows. First, the historical background was the time of King Young & drama introduced various kinds of costumes Joungjo, which is the starting era of traditional costumes peculiar to Korea. Second, the based on the historical inquiry of that time. There is a limitation in the process of historical inquiry about the costumes of that time because we don't have enough research data such as relics, remains, references, literary works, pictures, etc. Although, in some cases, exact historical inquiry about the costumes were made, they could not be reproduced in the original forms due to several reasons: the absence of the materials of that time, structural changes including length and size for convenience of action, alterations of the manufacturing method for the reuse, addition of the gorgeous and various olors for the enhancement of image quality, variations in colors according to the actor's character, modulations of the structures and colors by the producer's intention, and the restraints in time and money for manufacturing. In view of these situations, it seems to be difficult for us to settle the problems occurring between the historical inquiry about the traditional costumes and the reproduction of them in drama. However, the costumes presented in historical drama have the meanings to provide informations of that time with TV audience. Therefore I think that it is necessary to narrow the gap between the historical inquiry of TV drama costumes and for the reproduction of hem, First, It should be restrained that each broadcasting stations show the costumes under the similar situations of the same age in different ways. Second, We need to unify the inquiry systems concerning historical drama costumes, In addition to this, it is also necessary for broadcasting stations to establish internet sites of traditional costumes for communication.

보드리야르의 시뮬라크르 개념을 통한 현대 페이크 패션 연구 (A Study on Modern Fake Fashion Based on Simulacre Concept of Baudrillard)

  • This study specifies the definition and characteristics of fake fashion by categorizing cases through an analytical framework that uses the concept of simulacre, which is one of the theories that explains the reproduction of images and symbols in a modern consumer society. The presentation stages of modern fake fashion based on Baudrillard's concept of simulacre are as follows: Stage 1 focuses on the realistic imitation of the original, Stage 2 maintains a similarity with the original while transforming through the distortion of shape or visual perception, Stage 3 is the reality of the original which has become significantly vague and actively involves the designer's creativity, and Stage 4 forms a new value and an independent aura beyond reproducing the original. The presentation techniques of modern fake fashion viewed in the concept of simulacre can be classified into optical illusions by reproduction, use of a fake object, use of unusual shapes, and re-signifying through borrowing. As a result of applying the collected cases to the analytical framework, image reproduction in Stage 1 with imitative nature is a counterfeit that cannot be regarded as fake fashion, and fake fashion in Stage 4 (that can be referred to as simulacre) is fashion with symbolic and multiple meanings with new and creative designs. Modern fake fashion analyzed in the concept of simulacre transforms or reproduces the preexisting original with the purpose of merely creating original designs as well as acts as a new symbolic signal that creates a new aura and sets a trend with a message.

방송조명에서 LED광원의 색 재현성과 평탄도 연구 (A Study on Color Reproduction and Flatness of the LED Light Source in Broadcasting Lighting)

  • 방송 제작현장에서는 영상 이미지 표현의 광원으로 Tungsten Halogen 광원이 주 광원으로 사용 되어 왔다. Tungsten Halogen 광원은 그동안 개발된 다른 광원보다 태양광원과 유사한 색 재현성으로 각광받아 왔지만 에너지 효율성의 문제점을 가지고 있었다. 최근 대체 광원으로 고효율의 에너지와 긴 수명의 LED광원이 방송 광원으로 주목받기 시작했다. LED광원은 독특한 발광원리 때문에 카메라를 통한 영상 이미지의 색 재현성과 광원에서 투사되는 빛의 질에 있어서 Tungsten Halogen광원과 다른 특성을 가지고 있다. 이런 특성은 LED광원이 방송 광원으로서 도입이 늦어지는 이유이다. 이에 본 연구에서는 LED 광원의 색 재현성과 빛의 질 특성인 평탄도를 측정하여 기준광원인 Tungsten Halogen과 비교하여 방송 광원으로써의 적합성에 대한 실험 데이터를 제시할 것이다. 또한 LED광원이 방송 광원으로서의 확산되기 위해서 필요한 점이 무엇인지 향후 과제와 기준을 제시하고자 한다.

  • As the use of smart devices is being increased rapidly by the development of internet and IT technology, the contents production and utilization rate are showing higher increase, too. In addition, the type of contents also shows very diverse forms such as education, game, video, UCC, etc. In the meantime, the contents are reproduced in diverse forms by reprocessing the original contents, and they are being serviced through the contents service platform. Therefore, the platform to make the contents reprocessing easy and fast is needed. As the diverse contents distribution channels such as YouTube, SNS, App Service, etc, easier contents distribution platform is needed, and the development of the relevant area is expected. In addition, as the selective consumption of the contents having easy accessibility through diverse smart devices is distinguished, the demand for the platform and service that can identify the contents consumption propensity by individual is being increased. Therefore, in this study, to vitalize the online contents distribution, the contents reproduction and publishing platform, was designed and materialized, which can reproduce and distribute the contents based on the real-time contents editing technology in URL unit and the consumer propensity analysis technology using the data management-based broadcasting contents distribution metadata technology and the edited image contents streaming technology. In addition, in the results of comparing with other platforms through the experiment, the performance superiority of the suggested platform was verified. If the suggested platform is applied to the areas of education, broadcasting, press, etc, the multi-media contents can be reproduced and distributed easily, through which the vitalization of contents-related industry is expected.

초미립자탄산칼슘이 잉크제트 인쇄품질에 미치는 영향 (The Effect of Precipitated Calcium Carbonate Having a Small Particle Size on the Print Quality of an Inkjet-Grade Paper)

  • Experimental work was carried out in order to produce a novel grade of ink-jet paper that has both high print-out quality and price competitiveness. Usually, silica and PVOH has been used for ink-jet paper to design the coating layer that has a hydrophilic and micro-porous structure. However, poor rheological characteristics and low productivity of the silica-PVOH system make the price of the ink-jet paper high. The main focus of this study was replacing the conventional silica (coating pigment) PVOH (binder) coating system with the new PCC (coating pigment) cationic starch (binder) coating system, and optimizing thecoating technology associated with PPC-cationic starch system. In this study, ink-jet print quality of PCC-coated papers was compared with that of silica-coated paper. Two types of PCC were used: conventional type and colloid type. It turned out that PCC C, a conventional coating pigment, has not given a desirable result: it showed high dot reproduction, but it gave low optical density. In spite of low dot reproduction, the qualities of PCC A were comparable or superior to those of silica in optical density, color reproduction, and the uniformity of printing surface. It was also shown that the problems that are happened when the dosage level of cationic starch was too low were varied with ink-type used in each printer. However, in the case of low binder level, the produced image was widely spread resulting fromtoo low optical density of images, or from the lack of bonding ability to set ink into coating surface.

  • 정확한 색 재현(Color Reproduction)을 위해서 영상 입력 장치(Image Input Device)의 조명색(Illuminant Color)에 따른 영상 변화를 분석하는 것은 중요하다. 영상 입력 장치는 피사체(Object)를 비추는 조명의 색 특성에 따라 영상을 생성한다. 이는 인간 시각 시스템(Human Visual System)이 가지는 색 불변성(Color Constancy)과는 다른 특성이며, 정확한 색 재현을 위해 필요한 색 실현 모델(Color Appearance Model)이 영상을 변환하는데 문제점으로 작용한다. 따라서, 영상 입력 장치가 생성하는 영상으로부터 조명 정보를 분석하여 인간 시각 시스템의 색 불변성을 재현할 필요가 있다. 본 논문에서는 영상의 조명 정보를 평가하기 위해 채도(Chroma)가 높은 기준 색 샘플들의 rgb 색도를 이용하여 색도 평면에 색도 다각형(Chromaticity Polygon)을 구성하고 영상의 모든 픽셀들의 rgb 색도 분포와 기준 색 샘플들의 색도 다각형간의 포함 관계에 따라 조명 정보를 평가한다.

ICC 기반의 컬러 매니지먼트 시스템을 사용한 별색 교정에 관한 연구 (A Study on Spot Color Proofing using ICC-based Color Management System)

  • Recently, the trend in the printing industry includes shorter run lengths and with fast turnaround times. As new markets have made it possible to produce small quantities of high-quality color products at affordable price, the general commercial printing meets the customer's diverse demand by using spot color besides process four colors. Especially, by using spot color for printing the enterprise's logo or specific color, we can see the effect of printing is getting better. With the combination of the right software, ink, media, and device can be treated as a digital proofer for spot color printing, providing significant time and cost savings compared to conventional procedures. The objective of this study is to investigate the quality of spot color proofs printed by ink-jet and dye sublimation proofer using ICC-based color management system. An Epson Stylus Color 3000 ink-jet proofer combined with Best Color Proof XXL RIP was tested for glossy and matte paper. 3M Rainbow dye sublimation proofer was examined using 3M Rainbow controller ver. 4.1 RIP on the manufacturer recommended proofing paper. ICC profiles were generated for each device using ECI 2002 visual target and evaluated for the accuracy of process 4 color reproduction. The test charts consisting of Pantone color 1140 was selected to test the quality of spot color reproduction.

A Study on the Angular Characteristics of Photopolymer-based Hologram Recording and Reproducing Light

  • Increasing interest in the metaverse world these days, interest in realistic content such as 3D displays is growing. In particular, hologram images seen in movies provide viewers with an immersive display that cannot be seen in conventional 2D images. Since the first discovery of holography by Dennis Gabor in 1948, this technology has developed rapidly. Spatially, this beginning of technology like Optical hologram called analog hologram and Digital hologram such as computer-generated hologram (CGH). In analog and digital holograms, a recording angle and a recording wavelength are having important role when reproducing and display hologram. In the hologram, diffraction of light causes by unexpected formed by the synthesis from interference with object and reference light. When recording, the incident light information and mismatched reproduction light reconstruct the hologram in an undesirable direction. Reproduction light that is out of sync with incident light information with initial condition of recording will cause reconstructed image in an undesirable direction. Therefore, we analyze the holographic interference pattern generated by hologram recording in volume holograms using photopolymer and analyze the characteristics that vary depending on the angle of the reproduced light. This is expected to be used as a basic research on various holographic application that may cause as holograms are applied to industries in the future.

무대 공연 재현 이미지 구현의 모델링작업 개선 연구 (A study on the modeling work improvement of the representation image of stage performance)

  • 최근의 멀티미디어 컴퓨팅의 비약적 발전은 지금 까지 시도 될 수 없었던 분야로 그 적용 범위를 넓혀가고 있다. 지금까지 후순위로 밀려 온 분야였던 작고 예술인 특히 무용인의 재현도 빛을 보게 되었다. 본 연구는 이러한 작고 무용인의 재현에 멀티미디어 컴퓨팅이 어떻게 적용될 수 있는가를 보였다. 그 일환으로서 기존 무대재현에 많이 동원되는 수작업에 소프트웨어화를 도입하여 작업시간의 단축을 이루었을 뿐만 아니라, 후속작업 시 재사용이 가능하게 될 수 있도록 하였다.

Comparison of Estradiol-17$\beta$, Progesterone and litter Size among Primiparous Sow Breeds Weaned after Lactation for 7 or 21 Days

  • This study was carried out to find out the changes on serum concentrations of estradiol-17$\beta$, progesterone in primiparous Duroc, Landrace and Yorkshire sows weaned at 7 or 21 days. Also, we compared the litter size at birth and weaning among the breeds weaned after lactation for 7 or 21 days. The estradiol-17$\beta$ concentrations among the breeds were 6.9∼8.8 pg/ml and 6.4∼8.8 pg/ml after lactation for 7 or 21 days, respectively. The progesterone concentrations ranged from 0.3 ng/ml to 1.6 ng/ml. Duroc sow showed higher progesterone concentration compared with Landrace and Yorkshire sows weaned after lactation for 7 or 21 days. Also, we found out that litter size at birth and weaning, respectively, did not show any differences between day 7 and day 21 of lactation. From the facts mentioned above, it was suggested that very early weaning systems could work with no apparent adverse effect on prolificacy.
