영건의궤(營建儀軌)에 실린 목부재용어(木部材用語)의 용례(用例)와 변천(變遷)에 관(關)한 연구(硏究) (A study on the examples and changes of wooden member terms in Yeonggeon-euigwe)

  • This study examines the examples and changes of wooden member terms in Yeonggeon-euigwe(營建儀軌) in the era of Joseon Dynasty. As a result of examining examples, about 240 wood member terms were found on the basis of phonetic value and examples different from today's term use were also confirmed. Wood member terms were derived in variety and synonym and different style, that is, coexistence or transition of several notations as the term indicating the same member was found. Derivation of detail terms has the characteristic increasing on the basis of morpheme and formation of different notation followed Chinese notation or was caused by complex coinage features like a coined word of Korea by the meaning of a word and borrowed character notation borrowing sound and it is also related to the specificity of that time which had dual language system. The typical examples without different style for long were pillar, rafter, door and window. Examples with active generation and selection of different styles included beam, capital and bracket-system terms. Different styles were caused by the combination of several notations including borrowed character in the process of Chinese character notation borrowing sound, Korean unique character emphasizing and limiting combination of 木 (wood) with side of character and Chinese. Period showing remarkable change of example notation was the compilation of ${\ll}$the Hwa-Sung-Sung-Euk-Eui-Gue${\gg}$ 華城城役儀軌. ${\ll}$the Hwa-Sung-Sung-Euk-Eui-Gue${\gg}$ is the representative type uigwe made by printed type not by handicraft. Printing by type accompanies unification of the shape of a character necessarily and it was considered that it resulted in the unification of character of different style, the number of strokes and minute difference of strokes, and it was interpreted that common use of intentional notation with the unification of the shape of a character was achieved.

차량충돌해석 적용을 위한 간단화한 성형이력 고려 방법 (A Simplified Method to Consider Forming Effects in a Car Crash Analysis)

  • This paper introduces a simplified method to consider forming effects in a car crash analysis. Representative value was used to consider forming effects simply. Four representative values, which are the mean value of thicknesses and effective plastic strains at nodes, the median of thicknesses and effective plastic strains at nodes, were evaluated. A crash analysis of a front side member shows that analysis results from the suggested methods are similar to those from the conventional method to consider forming effects. Use of the mean effective plastic strain shows the best results. A car crash analysis for a ULSAB/AVC model under the condition of US SINCAP were carried out to demonstrate the validity of the suggested method. Analysis results show that the error of suggested method is less than 1.5%.

  • This study is the research appling the representative Displacement-Based Design which is the basic concept of Direct Displacement Based Design proposed by Chopra and Goel to original Reinforced Concrete moment frame and determining the thickness of retrofit Steel Jacket about the Maximum design ground acceleration, and developing the more improved Algorithm as well as program by the Retrofit Design method and Nonlinear analysis by the Performance design method before and after reinforcement appling the determined retrofit thickness. It also shows the result of the seismic performance improvement which is the ratio of seismic performance appreciation result yield displacement 19%, yield strength ratio 24%, displace ductility ratio the maximum 27% comparing Multi degree of freedom, column member of Reinforced Concrete with the performance improvement column member considering the thickness of the determined Steel Jacket. The developed Algorithm and program are easy to apply seismic design and application to the original Reinforced Concrete building, at the same time, it applicate to display well the design result of Target displacement performance level about nonlinear behavior.

지식의 탐색(Exploration)과 활용(Exploitation)이 개방형협업의 성과에 미치는 영향: 오픈소스 소프트웨어 개발 프로젝트를 중심으로 (Impacts of Exploitation and Exploration on Performance of Open Collaboration: Focus on Open Source Software Development Project)

  • With rapid development of information and communication technologies, open collaboration can be eased through the Internet. Open source software, as a representative area of open collaboration, is developed and adopted to various fields. In this research, based on organizational learning theory, we examine the impacts of exploration and exploitation on innovation performance in open source software development projects. We define knowledge exploration as a number of developers from outside organization and knowledge exploitation as the ratio of member of an organization who participated in an open source software project managed by the organization. For analysis, we collect data of 4794 projects from github which is a representative open source software development platform using Web crawler developed by Python. As a result, we find that excessive exploration has curvilinear (invers U-shape) relationship on project performance. On the other hand, exploitation with enough external developers will positively impact on project performance.

개선된 미세분할 방법과 가변적인 가중치를 사용한 벡터 부호책 설계 방법 (The design method for a vector codebook using a variable weight and employing an improved splitting method)

  • 벡터 부호책 설계에 사용되는 기존 K-means 알고리즘은 모든 학습반복에서 고정된 가중치를 적용하는데 반해 제안된 방법은 학습반복마다 가변되는 가중치를 적용한다. 초기 학습반복에서는 새로운 부호벡터를 얻기 위해 수렴영역을 벗어나는 2 이상의 가중치를 사용하고, 이 값이 클수록 가변 가중치를 적용하는 학습반복을 줄임으로써 우수한 부호책을 설계할 수 있다. 초기 부호책 설계에 사용되는 미세분할 방법을 개선하기 위하여 소속 학습벡터와 대표벡터간의 오차를 줄이는 방법을 사용한다. 즉 자승오차가 최대인 대표벡터를 제외시키고 최소인 대표벡터를 미세분할함으로써 초기 부호벡터로 대체될 보다 적절한 대표벡터를 얻을 수 있다.

A study on collision strength assessment of a jack-up rig with attendant vessel

  • The rapid proliferation of oil/gas drilling and wind turbine installations with jack-up rig-formed structures increases structural safety requirements, due to the greater risks of operational collisions during use of these structures. Therefore, current industrial practices and regulations have tended to increase the required accidental collision design loads (impact energies) for jack-up rigs. However, the existing simplified design approach tends to be limited to the design and prediction of local members due to the difficulty in applying the increased uniform impact energy to a brace member without regard for the member's position. It is therefore necessary to define accidental load estimation in terms of a reasonable collision scenario and its application to the structural response analysis. We found by a collision probabilistic approach that the kinetic energy ranged from a minimum of 9 MJ to a maximum 1049 MJ. Only 6% of these values are less than the 35 MJ recommendation of DNV-GL (2013). This study assumed and applied a representative design load of 196.2 MN for an impact load of 20,000 tons. Based on this design load, the detailed design of a leg structure was numerically verified via an FE analysis comprising three categories: linear analysis, buckling analysis and progressive collapse analysis. Based on the numerical results from this analysis, it was possible to predict the collapse mode and position of each member in relation to the collision load. This study provided a collision strength assessment between attendant vessels and a jack-up rig based on probabilistic collision scenarios and nonlinear structural analysis. The numerical results of this study also afforded reasonable evaluation criteria and specific evaluation procedures.

동하중 등가 설계압을 받는 고속 경구조선 알루미늄 보강판부재의 구조응답 고찰 (Consideration of the Structural Response of High Speed Aluminum Planning Boat Stiffened Plate Member subjected to the Simplified Equivalent Dynamic Design Pressure)

  • High speed planning boats also have been required more and more the rational strength analysis and evaluation for the optimal structural design in respect of the structural lightness according to the high speed trend. Even though the suggestion of the simple type equation for the equivalent dynamic pressure is reasonable to design the scantling of ship structure conveniently, many research activities for more reasonable improvement of the simple design pressure, have been continued to suggest the more accurate equivalent static description of tire structural response such as the deflection and stress of hull structure. In this research, we focus on the aluminum bottom stiffened plate structure in which structural scantling is mainly depend on the local loads such as dynamic or impact pressure without other load effects and structural response for the simple dynamic equivalent pressure was investigated through the structural analysis. In order to investigate the structural response of the bottom stiffened plate structure subjected to the dynamic equivalent design pressure, linear and nonlinear structural analysis of the bottom stiffened plate structure of 4.3 ton aluminum planning boat was performed based on the equivalent static applied loads which were derived from the KR regulation and representative one among various dynamic equivalent pressure equations. From above analysis results, we found that the response such as deflection and stress of plate member was similar with the response results of one plate member model with fixed boundary, which was published previous paper and in case of KR design loading, all response of stiffened plate structure were within elastic limit. Through the nonlinear analysis, nearly elastic behavior including the slight geometrical nonlinear response was dominant but plastic local zone was appeared at $85\%$ limit load. Therefore, we can say that through tire linear and nonlinear analysis, this stiffened plate member has no structural strength problem based on the yield criteria in case within $60\%$ limit load except the other strength point of view such as the fatigue and buckling problem.

무선 센서네트워크에서 대표경로를 이용한 클러스터기반 라우팅 프로토콜의 설계 및 구현 (Design and Implementation of Cluster based Routing Protocol using Representative Path in Ubiquitous Sensor Network)

  • 유비쿼터스 컴퓨팅 시대의 핵심 기반 기술로서 무선 센서 네트워크 통신 기술에 대한 연구가 점차 확산되고 있다. 특히 센서 노드는 에너지 자원이 한정되어 있기 때문에, 에너지 효율적인 라우팅 기법을 통해 통신 에너지를 감소시키는 것이 가장 중요하다. 기존의 클러스터 기반 라우팅 프로토콜은 헤더를 임의로 선정함으로써 효율적으로 클러스터 헤더를 선정하지 못하는 문제점을 지닌다. 또한 기존의 클러스터 기반 라우팅 프로토콜은 대규모 크기의 네트워크를 지원하지 못하기 때문에 다양한 응용에서 활용될 수 없다. 따라서, 본 논문에서는 기존 클러스터 기반 라우팅 기법의 문제점을 해결하기 위하여, 대표경로를 이용한 새로운 클러스터 기반 라우팅 프로토콜을 제안한다. 제안하는 기법은 홉 수 기반의 대표경로를 생성함으로써 분산된 클러스터 헤더를 지닌 효율적인 클러스터를 구성한다. 또한, 클러스터 멤버 노드와 클러스터 헤더간의 데이터 통신 및 클러스터 헤더간의 통신을 위하여 멀티 홉 통신을 지원한다. 마지막으로 LEACH와 Mutihop-LEACH와의 성능 비교를 통해 제안하는 기법이 신뢰성 및 확장성 측면에서 성능이 우수함을 제시한다.

  • Development of efficient integration management system needs to operate and manage internet shopping mall for customer, sale, product, stock, account management. The purpose of this paper implements of small shopping mall logistics management system as a plan to raise efficiency of management of the Internet shopping mall which was a representative business form of electronic commerce. Logistics management system operates an Internet shopping mall, progressed with the aim of construction of the management system that systematizes a member, a product, a stock, customer management, and can efficiently manage a total stock grasp and the amount of transaction of a product based on Web environment by real time.

Energy Efficient Routing in Wireless Sensor Networks

  • Sensor nodes depend on batteries for energy source in Wireless Sensor Networks (WSNs). Low Energy Adaptive Clustering Hierarchy (LEACH) is a representative cluster-based routing protocol designed to ensure energy use efficiency whereas the virtual cluster exchange routing (VCR) information only with its closest node to build a network. In this paper, a protocol scheme was proposed wherein member nodes are designed to compare the currently sensed data with the previously sensed one and to switch to sleep mode when a match is achieved. The design is to help improve the transmission energy efficiency too.
