Comparing online and paper-based environment for report submission and correction, the former supersedes to the latter, since (1) the turn-around time becomes shorter, (2) teaching opportunity increases, and (3) as a consequence, the student's achievement level becomes higher in the online environment. In this paper, we propose an annotation tool GABA for PDF document in order to reduce correction time by the teachers and to facilitate instruction to students. In a usual class, the same or similar assignments are given to the students. Then it is often the case that many students make similar mistakes. A teacher can register and classify common correction comments to GABA. Report correction time becomes significantly shorter by reusing the registered comments. GABA also provides various support functions in order to assist efficient checking of numerous report files such as (1) sorting of frequently-used comments, (2) similarity-based file sorting, and (3) cross tabulation of comments using category and weight.

Purpose - This paper examined the relation between Correction of Annual Reports and Earnings management. The annual reports are used as key reports for critical decision making by providing useful information to various stakeholders across the firm. Design/methodology/approach - The sequence of this study is analysed that each of the following two cases affects the earning management: 1. that corrections have been made; 2. Where financial information have been modified or non-financial information have been modified during the correction of the annual report. We draw an initial sample of firms listed on the Korea Stock Exchange from 2014 to 2017. Among these, we excluded firms that were not able to obtain the variables needed to measure the correction of Annual Reports and the earnings management. Finally, we use the 7,035 firm-year observations. Findings - Our empirical results of this study are as follows; First, it turned out that the earnings management of companies that report business reports on corrections is larger than those that do not. Second, among the types of annual report corrections, the correction of non-financial information is significantly larger on earnings management than the correction of financial information. Research implications or Originality - The correction disclosure of business reports is a very important issue in terms of accounting information accuracy and reliability. The results of this study will provide policy implications for correction disclosures and regulations due to an important issue as accounting information. An entity that initially prepares accounting information should advanced in such a way that it provides high quality accounting information and then complements and accepts it by various stakeholders.

Although posterior reversible encephalopathy syndrome (PRES) is induced by various causes, a few cases have occurred after severe anemia correction. In this case report, a 45-year-old female patient visited emergency department with a chief complaint of dizziness due to severe anemia related to hypermenorrhea caused by uterine myoma. Before her operation, she had an abrupt headache and seizure during anemia correction with transfusion and injection of gonadotropin-releasing hormone agonist. Immediately after the operation, she experienced visual disturbances, followed by limb weakness and tonic-clonic movements. Magnetic resonance imaging showed alterations in parietal and occipital lobes suggesting cerebrovascular edema with hypoperfusion. Here, we presented and discussed the clinical and radiologic features of PRES related to anemia correction.

본 연구는 전문대학 부사관과의 학생들의 의사소통 능력을 향상시키기 위해 읽기-쓰기 연계 교육방안을 고찰하였다. 읽기-쓰기 연계 교육은 읽기 능력과 쓰기 능력의 동시에 향상시킨다. 이에 부사관과의 읽기-쓰기 연계 교육 모형을 '읽기-쓰기-첨삭'으로 구성하고 이에 적합한 실행방안을 도모하였다. 구체적인 실행은 보고서를 중심으로 읽기-쓰기 연계를 실습하는 것이다. 이는 읽기에서 메모 및 요약 틀을 제시하여 작성하고 쓰기에서 읽기의 메모 및 요약 틀을 적용하여 보고서를 작성하는 것이다. 첨삭은 교수자가 읽기-쓰기의 전 과정에서 검토하는 것이다. 보고서를 활용한 부사관과의 읽기-쓰기 방안은 부사관에게 필요한 보고서 양식을 활용한다는 점에서 앞으로의 업무와 관련된 의사소통 능력을 향상시킨다는 장점이 있다. 끝으로 향후 연구를 위한 제언을 하였다.

Interventricular Septal Defect is probably the most common congenital cardiac lesion. Despite rapid technical advances and increasing surgical experience the risk of surgical intervention for correction of Ventricular Septal Defect in infants with pulmonary hypertension remains formidable. Since Sirak et al [1959] reported a succesful case of two stage approach to their surgical correction, it has led to a policy of primary palliation,followed by complete correction as a secondary procedure, after age 3 to 4 years. Most surgeon prefer to perform complete correction of Ventricular Septal Defect when body weight exceeds 30 Lbs. and before development of so-called Eisenmengers complex, for the good postoperative results. Authors report 2 cases of Ventricular Septal Defect with pulmonary hupertenslon, who was underwent pulmonary artery banding as a palliative procedure in the Department of Surgery,Severance Hospital Yonsei University. Case 1:4 year old male, initially a complete correction of Ventricular Septal Defect was attempted by the help of mild hypothermia and extracorporeal circulation. During the procedure of a construction of an extracorporeal by- pass, a sudden cardiac arrest developed. After resuscitation of the heart,pulmonary artery banding was performed as a palliation. On the first postoperative day the patient developed generalized tonic convulsion, cyanosis, vomiting and eventually shock. Patient discharged home after a full recovery. Case 2.: 9 month old female, the pulmonary artery constricted with Teflon patch successfully. After the patients first postoperative day several cyanotic spells developed followed by 3 cardiac arrests. This repeated until when she expired with respiratory failure.

Objective : Needle embedding therapy is a newly induced therapy which uses specialized tools. The purpose of this study is to report the nasolabial folds correction effect of needle embedding therapy on 5 cases. Method : Five women with no disease were received needle embedding therapy four to six times over one to two months. The photos of each patient were taken before and after the treatment. Also, Glogau photoaging classification were assessed before and after the treatment. Result and conclusion : Needle embedding therapy may be an effective and safe treatment for the correction of nasolabial folds.

This study showed the development process of structural design method of BHB(Blast Hardened Bulkhead) which are applicable in preliminary design stage. In the previous 1st report, the simplified structural scantling equations of BHB were formulated theoretically using the modified plastic hinge method supplemented by considering the membrane effects due to large plastic deformation. And the scantling methodology of plate thickness and section area of stiffeners of the curtain plate type BHB was dealt with. In the present 2nd report, derivation process of the correction factors which can adjust the developed scantling equations considering the uncertainties contained in the design parameters was introduced. Considering the actual BHB structures of 3 warship, the correction factors for the developed scantling equations for curtain plate type BHB were derived. Finally the applicability, validity of them and the strategy of future improvement were considered.

The author evaluated the effect of wunderer activator and karwetzky's u-bow activator for correction of anterior and posterior cross bite and mandibular shift to the Rt. or Lt. side. The results were as follows. 1. correction of anterior and posterior cross bite. 2. correction of mandibular shift to the unilateral side. 3. slightly down and backward rotation of mandible was occured.

The cultural industry is treated as the sunrise industry in modern society. It has taken an increasing role in promoting the economic growth. Due to this, this paper attempts to explore the dynamic relationship between cultural industry and the economic growth. On the grounds of Cobb-Douglas production function, the cultural industry is regarded as a determinant such as the labor input and the capital input to impact the economic growth. Meanwhile, the quarterly datum form 2000-Q1 to 2017-Q4 are employed to perform an empirical analysis via the vector error correction model. The GDP is treated as an independent variable. The input of capital, the input of labor and the total input of cultural industry are treated as dependent variables. Furthermore, a menu of statistical approaches such as the co-integration test and the impulse response function will be used to testify the dynamic relationship between cultural industry and economic growth. Via the Johansen co-integration test, the results report that the cultural industry has a obviously positive effect on economic growth. Through the vector error correction estimation, the results also report that the cultural industry also has a significantly positive effect on economic growth, but less than that of the Johansen co-integration test. This paper provides a view that the cultural industry is a kind of a determinant to promote the economic growth. Therefore, the China's government should pay much attention to the cultural industry construction.

This is a case report of correction of posttraumatic diplopia and enophthalmos using autogenous composite conchal cartilage and temporal fascia. The results are as follows. 1. Diplopia and enophthalmos may be persistent complications in zygomatic complex fracture. 2. The concha is a reservior of autogenous cartilage which leaves no cosmetic and functional deformity in reconstruction of orbital floor. 3. Warpping the cartilage in temporal fascia may serve to increase implant stability and get graft with smooth edge. 4. Donor incision lines are well hidden within the scalp and in auriculocephalic fold.
